Survivor: Ghost Island - April 11 Blog Party

I will try my best to at least post the major events of the show as it airs this week. I still can't twist around or sit too long with the back surgery. I overdid things a bit today with physical therapy and some errands I had to run.

They've been changing up the tribes much too often this season. Thankfully, they're promising the merge on promos for tonight. Lifeguard Laurie's been keeping up with it all. Here's the latest blog pool standings --

Let's get this show on the road!

Thirteen are left. Who will be voted out tonight? The tribes got word the merge was on. They all meet up and have the traditional merge feast. 

Chris's new buff holds a clue that he needs to sneak out of camp on a boat at night to get an idol at Ghost Island. It was random that he happened to get it in his buff. Will he be able to get away with the trip?

Dom and Wendell try to get Chris on their side. How'd it work out? Now they plan on targeting Chris because he won't commit to working with them.

Okay, Chris is starting to sneak away. He seems to make it to Ghost Island without drawing attention. He gets JT's idol from Game Changers -- JT left the idol back at camp and got blindsided. It's now only good at the next Tribal Council. Hmm. Now he can gamble to extend it, but he might lose his vote at the next Tribal. He extends it one week and then gets the No Vote. Now he has to sneak back in.

He doesn't get caught. But Dom notices he's sleeping a lot and doesn't like it.

Now a lot of talk about bringing out Dom's idol. The fake one? Both Chris and even more so, Dom, are putting targets on their backs.

The first individual Immunity has them standing on beams balancing a pole on their heads that has a statue on it. They're falling out like flies. Jenna, Donathan, Desiree and Andrea are out. When they move further, Sebastian out. Move further on the beam, Dom out, Michael out, Chris out, Laurel out, Wendell out.

Kellyn, Chelsea and Libby are remaining.

Chelsea out. Libby out. Kellyn wins the first individual Immunity!

Chris talks to everyone except Dom and Wendell about splitting the vote between Dom and Wendell to bring out Dom's idol. 

Meanwhile, Dom and Wendell know Chris is probably skunking them and want Chris out. Wendell tells Dom he has an idol and is willing to use it. They go around talking to everyone except Chris.

Desiree wants to use her group of four to get out Libby while everyone else is focused on Dom, Wendell and Chris. 

In Tribal, Dom parades out his fake idol (claiming it's real) and goes on his soapbox about Chris. Now Wendell interrupts Chris's rebuttal. It's a showdown!  Chris and Dom shine up the targets on their backs quite nicely. Wendell and Dom vote Chris.

The tally ... wait, Dom gets up. He plays his Legacy Advantage. He saves himself with that. 

Chris, Chris, Libby, Libby, Chris, Chris, Chris, Chris, Chris.

Going home with an idol in his pocket. The curse remains.
