Survivor fans ready? Twelve are left. Who will be voted out tonight?

Angelina is scrambling to repair the damage from Elizabeth at Tribal. They're not buying what she's selling. Dan doesn't trust her because she won't own up to doing anything wrong.

In a Strike Force talk between Christian and Mike has Mike questioning Gabby after the Tribal Council. Hmm.

Davie and Nick find a clue to an idol. Oh my. Then Carl came. Then a bunch was there. Davie distracted people while Nick found what turned out to be an advantage. Carl was with him, so he knows. The advantage is to steal a vote at Tribal.

Reward Challenge -- two teams of six, hold onto sandbags connected to a trough over their heads. A dozen pizzas for the winning six. Schoolyard pick for teams. Every 15 minutes one has to drop out and his team takes his 10 pound sandbags.

Gabby, Christian, John, Alec , Alison and Nick win! Dan screwed up for his team by showing off.

Mike is thinking his possibilities in the game. He's worried the Davids will overthrow the Goliaths. He thinks that Christian is a big threat in the game.  Alec, one of the Six, isn't as big on getting out Christian. The Goliaths meet up and all decide to focus on Christian.

(So I'd say now, Christian probably will not go this week!)

Angelina is set to be the decoy. Rightfully, she's a bit worried about her own position in the game.

Time for the Immunity Challenge!

Balance on a narrow perch while holding a buoy, drop buoy or fall and you're out. They hold the buoy with two sticks.

Quickly it's down to three -- Angelina, Nick, Dan. Nick's out.

DAN wins immunity!

Dan tells the Davids all are voting out Angelina. However, the real plan is that all of the Goliaths are voting out Christian. Angelina does not like her name out there like that.

Ohh ... Alec tells Nick that Mike wants Christian out. Nick tells Christian. Nick asks Davie if they could use the advantage to help Christian. Davie considers (to us) that he could give Christian the idol.

Time for Tribal Council ... will Christian make it through the vote? Lots of talk about the numbers game. Interesting talk, but not in any manner an epic one.

Whoa! Davie plays his idol, apologizing to his fellow tribe members for keeping it secret and plays it to save Christian. All are shocked.

More! Dan plays an idol for Angelina!

The tally,
Christian, Christian, Christian, Christian, Christian, Christian, Christian, Angelina, Angelina, John, John.

Rats! I liked him ... John suffered the fate of the dueling idols and was voted out.

  2. Hi Jackie!! Hi to all who follow!

  3. Hi Jennifer, Joe, and tbc!

  4. This is where the game can be turned around if done right.

  5. ~*~*~*~ SPLASH ~*~*~*~~

Hey Jackie & everyone! Sorry I'm late.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Can the idol nullifer be played AFTER an idol is played or BEFORE?

    ReplyDelete
  7. They needed that. 3 - that's great!

    ReplyDelete
  8. Spot on with that comment, Nickelpeed

    ReplyDelete
  9. YAY! I like Carl, glad he found an idol.

You guys - there've been complaints from my apt neighbors about my dogs barking
all day. I'm investigating shock collars - anyone have any experience with them?

    ReplyDelete
  10. Hi Jackie and Penny and Jennifer! Hi Joe! That was smart doing a distraction for the nullify vote to be found!

    ReplyDelete
  11. I'd be very careful with shock collars. They can make the dog very nervous.

    ReplyDelete
  12. One slice, what a tease!
    This challenge looks difficult

    ReplyDelete
  13. Hey GLenn!

Joe - I figured I'd try one on Bash (he's the big mouth) over the 4-day Thanksgiving wknd, and hopefully get him trained. I can't get evicted because of this, I just moved in! :(

  14. I can barely keep my arms over my head for "lather, rinse, repeat", much less THIS challenge.

    ReplyDelete
  15. I didn't hear what did Mike say to Jeff??

    ReplyDelete
  16. Hi TBC. Petals Mike said I have nothing for you either Jeff. Jeff then said finally someone said to him what people had wanted to tell him for years.

    ReplyDelete
  17. So can they keep the secret from Christian? Or is she getting her girlielocks in a wad??

    ReplyDelete
  18. Petals, shock collars can be really bad. They do have collars out that buzz or vibrate when they bark. It's because they are in a new place. Have you thought about crating them and putting them in an area where they can't be heard?

    ReplyDelete
  19. OMGosh, Glenn. You said the same thing my husband said. The exact same thing! LOLOL

    ReplyDelete
  20. You can try, Petals, but a lot of dog people hate them.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Have you tried leaving a radio on for the dogs?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I do that! My dogs are talk show junkies like me lol

  22. Ugh. Posting is not easy with my phone anymore.

    ReplyDelete
  23. YW Petals. These special powers if all were used could be a crazy tribal. Steal a vote. So one person votes twice. An idol couold be played than that idol nullified. Then other idols could be played.

    ReplyDelete
  24. They barked from the crate, they barked from the bedroom. I am in only 600 sqft (from over 2000) and they just stare out the window, looking for me. They go crazy when I come or go.

I've researched, and I love my kids, but I barely got in to THIS place; there is no way I can love this apartment.

Any suggestions for a more humane alternative?

PS - yes, I leave the TV on all day. No dice. LOL

    1. Doggie daycare a couple days per week? My daughter did that for a while.

  25. Hi everyone... late but made it :)))

    ReplyDelete
  26. I so did not want Dan to win.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Hi Monty. I had forgot that Culpepper had won the last time they did that survivor comp. It looks like a good one to use on Big Brother as well!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Doggie daycare or dog walker a couple of times a day?

    ReplyDelete
  29. Petals, that's a tough one. What about thunder shirts? I really don't know.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Is this the end for Christian?

    ReplyDelete
  31. I had two dogs, and I tried the shock collars. It made things worse, because when they got shocked they blamed each other and attacked each other.

One day, I don't know what made me do it, the dogs were barking in the yard, and I threw open the window and yelled, "Stop blowing that #$%^& whistle!" and the dogs stopped barking and never barked again. It turned out a neighbor kid was blowing a dog whistle. Seriously.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Would love to see an Angelina blindside!!!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Monty, I know. I'll call some vets & ask advice, but something has to be done...ASAP.
I've admonished, "shusshed", rapped him on the nose, even held his mouth closed with both hads and he STILL manages to squeal and grrr at whatever sound sets him off.
He is stubborn, it's his breed. It's like training a 50yr old man from leaving the toilet seat up, LOL.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I think Christian can pull a fast one with Nick's help

    ReplyDelete
  35. Gosh, I hope David comes up with a shock. Glad Goliath has loose lips. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  36. Silk - that is hilarious!

It's only Sebastian that is so noisy. Gretchen follows his lead, but barely barks. Schnauzers are so vocal; Bash & I have actual "conversations". This is rough.
I will pray and I know God will let me know what to do.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I hope you can find a solution, pal. We love our pets!!

    ReplyDelete
  38. Jenn - mini Schnauzer. 8yr old.

    ReplyDelete
  39. As a 50 year old man, I resent that metaphor. :)

    ReplyDelete
  40. DOggie Day care would solve the problem only on the days they were in day care, and I am pretty poor, so its not an option ( I wish)

I come home at lunch to walk them.
Bash has always been vocal - for the past 5 yrs, he's cried when I left the house & shrieked when I returned. Every. Single. Day. *smh*

    1. When I get home from work, my pup pups sound like they are being tortured... so embarrassing if someone is walking in front of my house!

    2. The thunder shirts work. I use one on my older, bigger dog. They aren’t too pricey

  41. Switching between the CMAs and Survivor. Chris Stapleton winning big again this year. Artist of the year and song.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Sorry, Jackie. Didn't mean to hi-jack the blog with my pet woes. I just figured there were so many dog people I may get some good feedback.

    Thanks you guys.

Off-off-topic: How fun is it that the same Hershey Kiss Christmas commercial is still airing?

    ReplyDelete
  43. Aww poor baby, Petals. But little dogs do have a high shrill bark.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Nick can change this vote. If he prevents one vote and gains two, they can send someone home. It's 5/7. Take one away, gain two. A winning number.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I'd appreciate a Angelina blindside just to see her and what's her name alone at Ponderosa :)))

    ReplyDelete
  46. I thank God I live out in the country. I have the same thing happen when I come home. If I lived in an apartment, I'd have been kicked out. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  47. Get rid of Angelina.....

    ReplyDelete
  48. This depends on how David decides to use their powers. I hope a few of them do not vote for Christian.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Did Nick use his power? When do we find out if he did?

    ReplyDelete
  50. No Dan, do not use it on her!

    ReplyDelete
  51. This is great for tv. Okay, let's see what happens.

    ReplyDelete
  52. nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

    ReplyDelete
  53. NOOOOOO! What a tough pill to swallow!

    ReplyDelete
  54. Wow. Just wow! Great tribal

    ReplyDelete
  55. He has to laugh...what else can ya do?

Monty - we had the same "No". LOL

    ReplyDelete
  56. Why not Mike or someone like that???? I'm out of the pool now!!!

    ReplyDelete
  57. Angelina should have been gone. WOW

    ReplyDelete
  58. Wow John gone. I like the off the toprpe reference.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Gonna be an interesting camp tonight! Have a great week everyone, thanks Jackie!!

    ReplyDelete
  60. David totally outplayed them there. They want Angelina gone last, Goliath should have let her go. Instead, they burned an idol to keep the woman they want gone anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  61. And didn't Goliath have a 7-5 advantage? They should have split one vote out to protect against an idol.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Lol, Petals. John was my pick when I get kicked out of the pool. Now I don't know who to root for. Maybe Nick, but I'm not solid on him yet. Definitely not Angelina!

    ReplyDelete
  63. That hurts the Goliaths a whole lot more losing him over Angelina. That is the second person I was rooting for that is out now!

    ReplyDelete
  64. Oh well. I wonder how they did this? Did Nick use his power? Can't wait to see what they did.

Thank you so much, Jackie, for giving us a place to talk Survivor. Was a great night for Survivor. David played it well.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Yep, Joe and both posts!!

    ReplyDelete
  66. Nick didn't, Penny. Nick, Christian and another what's his name all voted John and the other split there votes between Christian and Anglina (both saved by idols).

    ReplyDelete
  67. *their votes

Well, goodnight folks. Thanks Jackie and will see you all next time.

    ReplyDelete
  68. what a show! Thank you Jackie!

    ReplyDelete
  69. Thanks Monty. I wasn't quite sure. It was a great play, even tho John was my pool guy. :'(

    ReplyDelete
  70. Wow! Thanks for saving my pool guy team David.

    ChicMc

    ReplyDelete
  71. I just wish Nick had the courage to use his advantage instead of making his teammate use his idol. It doesn't say a lot about him.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Did anyone see him cheating in that individual challenge????????

    ReplyDelete
  73. I'm talking about dan! He cheated in that challenge! Did anyone see it? His feet?

    ReplyDelete
  74. So relieved that Christian was spared. He is fun to watch and funny. I wish they would get out Angelina....she is a threat and good in challenges. Hi to all...wish I could "live-blog" but wanted to chime in at this late date. I am going to relook at the challenge to see the "cheat" of Dan. Not much can be done about it at this late date. I wonder if any of the others noticed?
