BB21: Power of Veto Show Blog Party - Sept. 11
I'm going to have to bail on you again tonight. People who read my FB can fill you in on what's going on with me -- extreme troubles typing, please update on show in comments.
Honestly, I'm kind of okay with anyone winning. I do think Michie has earned it. He really turned it around from when everyone wanted him out early. And he is just killing comps. But there's really no one in the Final 5 that I would despise winning.

Michie really should be more worried about Nicole winning the veto. If Nicole wins and takes down Cliff, then Holly has to go up and Michie can't protect her.
So frustrated by these feed blocks why would they put a relationship in the house that caused the feeds to be blocked every time they talk about it. They also block when they talk about the “yeller” I don’t think they have blocked for that before

Joe, Michie used the same strategy because Cliff told them all *the four* in the HOH the night before that he would be using that strategy and Michie liked it.
Cheryl, they've overused the backdoor for so long now that it's lost the true meaning of it. With the random veto draw, there is rarely ever a true back door anymore.
NOPE, Joe. Wrong! The "backdoor" was created by Nakomis but they called it the 6-finger plan. You nom two pawns, make sure your target doesn't play in veto, then use the veto to take one nom down and put up your real target who had no opportunity to save themselves. Holly played in the veto.
Frankly, I'm not sure evicting Holly is really in Cliff and Nicole's best interest unless they feel they can trust Tommy to be a threesome with them. Otherwise, it's still 2 against 2 and Holly/Cliff have to balance "The Big Move" against "Loyalty" and jury management. I think it's kind of a coin toss.
Final 4, the HOH winner controls the eviction. So it really isn't that important that Michie can't play in the HOH. Even if Nicole or Cliff win HOH, they can't protect the other one without the Veto.
Yep, Nicole or Cliff need to win veto at final 4 to guarantee that they go to final 3. I still think Michie would take them and evict Tommy, but I'm not sure about TOmmy. He's had it out for Cliff the entire game.
I agree with you, Joe. I think Michie is much smarter than he lets on.
I still swear, if they keep Tommy, he could take it all. Even if they rat him out, he still liked more than Michie. They are hoping if they get rid of Holly and Michie wins, he HAS to take one of them. They believe enough dislike Michie and they'll be upset to hear that Tommy and Christie knew each other, they'll get the win. We'll see.
Penny, anyone of Tommy, Cliff, Michie or Nicole could win it all. I agree with Sharon that Holly cannot. It really is a 50/50 toss up. I can see reasons for getting rid of Holly or Tommy.
So, you are saying that you can't have a backdoor past Final 7? And you can't have a backdoor if the target gets picked to play in the Veto? I think that's too narrow a definition. You can't control who plays in the Veto which means you only ever get an accidental backdoor.
I stand by a backdoor is a plan to target someone not originally nominated. The only reason I think this doesn't count is because the HOH wasn't targeting someone who is not the nominee.
Taking Tommy is risky. On the other hand: no risk, no reward. OF those people, if I want to win, I think I want to be sitting next to Holly for sure and maybe Michie second. Michie has the resume, but a bitter jury.

So the rumor is next season will be an all star there is promo with Julie wearing a Paul type leather jacket with an all star patch or pin on the collar and other patches to represent other past house guests. So we will see
A little bit of Real World BB history. For those of you who have the feeds. Go back to S2 and watch the second to last episode. It aired on 9/18/01... when it was down to the final 3 and BB called first Monica then all of them in to the DR on 9/11 to let them know what had happened. Monica ("It's Awwnn") lost her cousin who worked in the Twin Towers. It's a somber view!
Sharon that’s exactly what I was thing. No Paul no Racheal and no Kristin the toe sucker. But supposedly one of the patches was the logo for Cody Callafuries soccer team. And I am pretty positive I spelled that wrong
If it's an All-Star Season, I'm all in on it. We've been begging for one since S10 through S18 and up to now. I want another one. S7 was fun. Bring back Paul, bring back anyone we didn't like, it will still be great BB. jmo :)))
Stick with Nicole Cliff!!! She has a better chance of winning the mental Part 2 HOH than Holly or Tommy. At least, I think so unless they do a crap shoot like S11 (loved Jordan beating Natalie in the rolly ball comp) or the face morph thing in S12. I feel bad for Cliff because he's between a rock and a hard place (no, that isn't a Jacksonism) with his vote. :((
Jackson just told Holly I will lie to Cliff and Nicole’s face as far as I’m concerned the broke the deal by even considering voting you out. Then he went to Cliff and lied to his face and Cliff is buying it all.
Jackson eavesdropped on Cliff, Nicole and Tommy in the havenot room and then later went down and asked cliff and Nicole if Tommy offered the throw the HOH to them and that Tommy is going after Jackson. Nicole said why do you ask. He said Tommy I’d trying to play both sides again and told me he was going to lie to y’all and work with me. Nicole flipped out and left the room once she calmed down Cliff said Jackson may be blowing smoke but he sure had a lot of details. Nicole wanted to have a house meeting Jackson begged her to wait so they could have a good night. Which only made her suspicious. Holly Isco concerned that at the meeting tomorrow they will see Tommy and Jackson fighting and think get rid of Holly since those two are now mad at each other
My first instinct was out Holly but they have to remember that Christie is campaigning in jury house for Tommy and holly would do same for Jackson so its a real big deal for Nicole and Cliff to think hard on who to vote out. I think they should split vote and make michie be the one to decide who goes and then if its Tommy gone he could talk up Nicole and Cliff for jury votes and if it holly then she can be mad at Jackson and maybe Nicole and.Cliff would have a chance against Tommy. Jmo

After last night I think Tommy is the best option to get them to final three. Also super mad Jacksongot away with using production last night. He set up this entire scene where he acts like he was talking to Tommyand Tommy was spilling everything to him. Then he comes into RV and says oh I just got called to the dr didn’t y’all hear it. They said no then he went and stood in the storage room and acted like he was in the dr. He comes back in the rev and Cliff says do you think we are all getting called and he was like no it was a singular incident with me and Tommy and then drops the lie. I think that is clearly using production
I think it would only be using production if he HAD actually gone to the DR and then talked about anything said in there. In that case, I'm sure they would have called him out. Just saying he went to DR doesn't mean much... other than he lied about his 'location' at the time.
However, it IS interesting that Production stopped the feeds just as Nicole was calling a house meeting. I know Prod. does usually stop the feeds for the Thursday rehearsal (about this time), but with all that's happening, I can't help wonder if Prod. is planning to use some of the House Meeting for the show tonight or on Sunday...especially if it affects the outcome of what "was" planned... or if brings on a huge blow-up. Jackson did NOT want a house meeting!!

Tommy actually told Cliff/Nicole about knowing Christie. Not that it mattered because they both knew already. Cliff heard the wall yeller a few weeks ago, so he knew from that and probably told Nicole... unless she also heard it at the time.
With that said, Jackson/Holly did tell Nicole/Cliff... after Tommy had already spilled the beans. That had been their plan, but seemed (to me) to be a silly plan to wait for Tommy to tell first.
In any case, they didn't seem to really care that Tommy knew Christie prior to the house. Maybe because they didn't realize how how many years it was, how close they 'were' during that time, or how much Christie could affect the outcome of the game.
Michie may have used production but the way he set tommy up was brilliant i think he may be able to save holly because he knows that cliff and Nicole arent the best players which is why he chose them for f4 because they would be easy to beat!
It's easy for us to know what they should do. We have inside information from the feeds and watching everyone. However, their information is limited.
It wasn't just this HOH that the HOHs were telling the next 'victim' (on Wednesdays), it was the theme throughout the summer. HGs got used to the idea that this was the "house" system (kinda like Taco Tuesday). If that hadn't been the case, then Nicole/Cliff would probably not have fallen into the trap of letting Holly know she "might" be in jeopardy. There wouldn't have been any funny-business and Jackson/Holly would have been surprised when the vote happened.
Before teeing off Jackson, it was a toss-up who should have gone. In the end, Tommy would have the Jury votes, but played right (through our eyes), Jackson/Tommy would have wanted to go after each other and most likely, Tommy would have been evicted. Now though, Jackson has zero loyalty left and will evict Cliff... even if Holly stays.
The feeds always go down for a couple of hours on Thursday... for rehearsal, body and hair beautifying, and to clean the house. About 11:15 PT, the feeds went down, just as Nicole was going to do a House Meeting, and it looks like the feeds never returned. At least, not that I can tell (since I don't have the feeds).
Could it be that the House Meeting was such a doozy that Production wanted to catch all they could for the show tonight? Or for a rehash on Sunday?

With that said, Jackson/Holly did tell Nicole/Cliff... after Tommy had already spilled the beans. That had been their plan, but seemed (to me) to be a silly plan to wait for Tommy to tell first.
In any case, they didn't seem to really care that Tommy knew Christie prior to the house. Maybe because they didn't realize how how many years it was, how close they 'were' during that time, or how much Christie could affect the outcome of the game.
Michie may have used production but the way he set tommy up was brilliant i think he may be able to save holly because he knows that cliff and Nicole arent the best players which is why he chose them for f4 because they would be easy to beat!
ReplyDeleteIt's easy for us to know what they should do. We have inside information from the feeds and watching everyone. However, their information is limited.
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't just this HOH that the HOHs were telling the next 'victim' (on Wednesdays), it was the theme throughout the summer. HGs got used to the idea that this was the "house" system (kinda like Taco Tuesday). If that hadn't been the case, then Nicole/Cliff would probably not have fallen into the trap of letting Holly know she "might" be in jeopardy. There wouldn't have been any funny-business and Jackson/Holly would have been surprised when the vote happened.
Before teeing off Jackson, it was a toss-up who should have gone. In the end, Tommy would have the Jury votes, but played right (through our eyes), Jackson/Tommy would have wanted to go after each other and most likely, Tommy would have been evicted. Now though, Jackson has zero loyalty left and will evict Cliff... even if Holly stays.

Except for saying he got called to the dr immediately after makes it seem true. They always get called after something juicy happens
DeleteThe feeds always go down for a couple of hours on Thursday... for rehearsal, body and hair beautifying, and to clean the house. About 11:15 PT, the feeds went down, just as Nicole was going to do a House Meeting, and it looks like the feeds never returned. At least, not that I can tell (since I don't have the feeds).
