It's here! After a rather troubling season of Big Brother, this should be a relief! The show seeks out those who WANT to be on it, not merely showmance types
Remember -- although Sandra and Rob are there, they are mentoring, not competing.

My blogging coverage might be a bit spotty tonight since A. I don't know who is whom yet and 2. I'm still having tendonitis issues with my right wrist making typing a bit hard. Please bear with me. It is improving!
As always, the real party is in the comments area -- please feel free to join in on the fun!
Survivor School is now in session!
Jeff does not escort the new castaways to the island, instead he's in a helicopter overhead. Without Jeff, they set about setting up their shelters and getting to know one another after finding camp flags and buffs.
Survivor School is now in session!
Jeff does not escort the new castaways to the island, instead he's in a helicopter overhead. Without Jeff, they set about setting up their shelters and getting to know one another after finding camp flags and buffs.
Elaine, Tom and Vince already bonded … and their fellow castaways noticed it. In the other camp it's noticed that Jason has already gone off alone looking for idols.
So many of them already have their eyes on Jason.
On Vokai, Tommy is schmoozing. But Noura gives Jason a heads up. On Lairo, they're already thinking of a girls alliance.
On Vokai, it turns out that Dan isn't respecting personal space, especially with the women -- he's touchy-feely. Janet warns him about it nicely but thinks it might hurt him in the game. On Lairo, Elaine and Ronnie already mistrust each other.
They finally meet Jeff and his dimples. It's the first immunity challenge. Reward is in the form of flint for fire. Climb a net, down a slide, on mat, grappling hooks move logs, climb to top of a hard incline, to puzzles -- building a village one hut at a time in order. This is a hard one!
VOKAI wins Immunity and Reward!
Jeff tells Lairo that one person will go to Island of the Idol and Elizabeth's name is drawn out of a bag. Jeff tells them she will return by Tribal time.
She lands on the island, sees giant busts of Rob and Sandra, then Rob and Sandra come to meet her. They will mentor her and then test her on what she's learned. Rob teaches her how to make fire. Sandra also works with her on fire.
Now if she takes a challenge to make fire against Rob, she could win an idol good for the next two tribal councils or lose a vote.
Back at camp, Ronnie seems to be targeted as does Elaine's. Some are not on the target Elaine bend, though.
Elizabeth goes for the challenge and … loses. She loses her vote, but now knows how to make fire and to go with her gut. She gets to pick the name from the other tribe to go to Idols next.
Back at camp Elaine is trying to make deals to stay. Now it looks like Vince is in trouble. Elizabeth is back and lies, doesn't tell them anything about Rob or Sandra or fire making. She makes up a story about breaking urns and not winning anything.
They all want her nonexistent vote, she doesn't tell them she lost her vote.
Tribal Council time!
Sandra and Rob are spying on them.
Elaine tries to defend herself knowing she's the main target.
The tally --
Vince, Ronnie, Vince, Ronnie, Ronnie, Ronnie, Ronnie
Bye-bye Ronnie ...

Hi Jackie. Thank you Laurie!
ReplyDeleteI have Kellee Kim as I try to defend my Survivor Title.
ReplyDeleteBlog Pool Winner of Survivor Season 38-Chris Underwood-"Survivor: Edge of Extinction
Ready for this?
ReplyDeleteI love Survivor, but I see no point in having Rob & Sandra as coaches.
ReplyDeleteThank you Jackie and Vincent. Appreciate this so much.
ReplyDeleteI'm soooooooooooo excited! I'm not a fan of either Boston Rob nor Sandra, but I am interested to see what they do.
Hi Glen
Hi everyone! Jackie, hope you are feeling better! Let’s do this🤗
ReplyDeleteHi Joe
ReplyDelete~*~*~*~ SPLASH ~*~*~*~
ReplyDeleteHey Jackie, Vincent & Everyone!
Hope you are feeling better, Ms Jackie.
Ugh - Sandra with her "Queen" talk.
Hi Petals!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Jennifer and Joe and Petals.
ReplyDeleteoh good an older guy!
ReplyDeletehow sad - the older guy is my age. #realitycheck
ReplyDeleteBoy, these are strong women!
ReplyDeleteThank God her tumor is gone. What a story!
Hi everyone! Part I of the crazy reality tv fest! Love it!!
ReplyDeleteHi Penny. Elizabeth an Olympic Swimmer should do well in Swimming Comps.
ReplyDeleteI like seeing some “older peeps “
ReplyDeleteHi all...good luck to them all...so excited for this season!!!!!
ReplyDeletewow @fire chick.
ReplyDeleteThe underwear?? Nooooooo
ReplyDeleteHi TBC. I love it my tribe has fire.
ReplyDeleteBoxer briefs, just no
ReplyDeleteH'lo everyone... I'm still fixing stuff for the BB Finale Party, so I'll be lurking here during Survivor. Best night on CBS reality TV for the year. Survivor premiere and BB finale!!!
ReplyDeletePreach it Monty!
DeleteHmong. Like Clint Eastwood's neighbor in Gran Torino.
ReplyDeleteMan, he's going to be the trouble maker.
ReplyDeleteHappy Belated Birthday Monty!!
ReplyDeleteHi Monty, tbc, Petals.
ReplyDeleteno hot Ozzy types. LOL
ReplyDeleteDang! My pool guy, Jason, just put a target on his back!
ReplyDeleteHi jennifer, Cherrypie.
Happy belated birthday, Monty!
Hi Cherry pie. Is Jeff going to go to the Survivors?
ReplyDeleteHi Monty.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Petals and Penny :))
ReplyDeleteJoe. Rob has a book telling how to win Survivor. A former winner read his Book and won. I wonder if their will be some type promotion or something.
ReplyDeleteI was wrong. I love Clam guy.
ReplyDeleteHi Jackie and everyone! Yep, you guessed it...I'm on the ball field! Game starts in 15. Will miss everyone for tonight's festivities. I'll check in from time to time. Tbc, it's you and me for Molly🤗
ReplyDeleteHey Jackie and everyone
ReplyDeleteNot a Sandra fan...AT ALL...I don't mind Rob so much.
ReplyDeleteI need to ask a favor. Could those who believe in prayer, pray for my Brother, Frank?
ReplyDeleteHe has Lyme Disease. He's paralyzed and in a wheel chair, so he didn't feel the bite. However; his blood tests showed 3 strains of 4. The doctors did nothing because he has to have symptoms first. Now he has symptoms. Really bad symptoms. He's on an antibiotic that can have worse symptoms than Lyme Disease. I'm really worried about him. Because he can't feel everything, this could be really hard on him.
Thank you.
Yes, of course!🙏
DeleteKeeping you and your brother in my thoughts and prayers. Hope he recovers quickly.
DeleteGlenn, it's not that Rob can't play the game, I just don't need there to be a coach out there.
ReplyDeleteHi Cheryl and Jenna.
ReplyDeleteI like Missy.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of either Rob or Sandra. I feel both are rude and obnoxious.
ReplyDeleteA woman's alliance never works on Survivor. Somebody always works with the men and tattles on the women.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely will keep your brother in prayers Penny. Lime disease is no bad stuff.
ReplyDeleteNickelpeed... when the women try to make the alliance... I always just shake my head! What’s with them... they always try and always fail!
ReplyDeleteI am praying Penny. A quick womans alliance. Jpoe I was just trying to think why they have coaches this year. I was wondering if Their is some type deal to get Boston Rob and Sandra there.
ReplyDeleteKind of with you Joe. I don't see the point of them being there...though I love me some Boston Rob. ..lol... But with said, players have always survived this game on their own for all these years
ReplyDeleteWhy would a germophobe go out in the jungle on Survivor
ReplyDeleteHey EVERYONE!!! I’m ready for Survivor!!!
ReplyDeleteHello everyone!! She is a germaphobe and goes on survivor lol had to throw that in lol be back for BB lol
ReplyDeletea germophobe has no place in Survivor.
ReplyDeleteACK! one of my personal pet peeves: When someone says "Taken back" not "taken aback". ARGH
My Poolgirl is a germaphobe. Not looking good for my chances to repeat win.
ReplyDeleteIt's good she's telling him. He should not have done anything to begin with.
ReplyDeleteshe's a law student? Taken Back? She probably says "Expecially"
ReplyDeleteHi Judi!
ReplyDeleteprayers for your bro, Penny
ReplyDeleteOh no Ronnie!!
ReplyDeleteOh she's got your # Mr professional poker player..haha
ReplyDeletePetals @ most professionals use horrible English. And, their writing is worse. LOL
ReplyDeleteI've worked for both lawyers and doctors. Every one of them had horrible writing.
Hi Penny! Germaphobes won’t last long at all! Survivor isn’t their game! Wow!
ReplyDeleteHowdy everyone!! Thanks to Jackie and for Laurie for getting this all together tonight.
ReplyDeleteI'll be in a out of the room tonight. 98 degrees here right now and I'm trying to cook dinner!!
Squeegee on the LeftCoast
Cheryl, my husband said, "He's a scumbag. I hope she sees that!" LOL. And, she did. He probably thought because she is country, she's dumb. Not on your life. Country folk are usually very leering of city folk.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure why the country folk would be leering at the city folks. LOL.
ReplyDeleteThe one who's local to me - Dean - is from spoiled rich kids land of Westfield.
ReplyDeleteI love the challenges!
ReplyDeleteI have cake & ice cream for Monty's belated birthday party during the BB party.
ReplyDeleteWill say some prayers for your brother Penny. I have a friend in Southern NJ that has been living with it for years.
ReplyDeleteYour so thoughtful like that Petals!
ReplyDeleteSaying prayers for your brother Penny 🙏🙏

ReplyDeleteMyTribe is safe. That helps my Pool girl Kellie!
ReplyDeleteShe has no idea.
ReplyDeletethe Olympic Champion Swimmer goes to the island.
ReplyDeleteMy tribe is safe. Really happy about that. It saved my pool guy from possibly going home.
ReplyDeleteI can’t wait to see Elizabeth’s reaction to see Sandra or Boston rob🎉
ReplyDeleteMe, to, jennifer.
ReplyDeleteooops too
ReplyDeleteWait for it....LOL
ReplyDeleteOMG those statues
ReplyDeleteThis is cool!!!
ReplyDeleteI would think, once she gets back, and tells them who's on the island, she could be voted off.
ReplyDeleteVery cool opportunity!
ReplyDeleteIt was good Elizabeth knew who they were. She should not do it.
ReplyDeleteShe has the deer in the headlight look!
ReplyDeleteLet's hope she doesn't, Glenn.
ReplyDeleteThey can never stay together. The women just never do it.
ReplyDeleteHa! Boston rib!
ReplyDeleteRob**
DeleteDang, if she doesn't win, which she probably won't, she loses the vote. Not good.
ReplyDeleteI hope she doesn't tell them that.
ReplyDeleteI would NOT tell the tribe that I lost my vote! Let’s see what she gives up about her time away!
ReplyDeleteI don't like these guys.
ReplyDeleteI agree, jennifer.
ReplyDeletebut the no vote will come out tonight though???
ReplyDeleteLove Julie’s dress!
ReplyDeleteGood for you, Elizabeth.
ReplyDeleteThis game is crazy!
the problem with that big of lie..is in 2 weeks someone from your team will be back there and they will knwo you lied
ReplyDeleteI hope that smug Ronnie goes home..lol
ReplyDeleteI wonder what th.. That is true Cheryl.e second Offer had if Elizabeth had asked
ReplyDeleteI wonder what the second Offer was lol.
ReplyDeleteIt’s like a confessional...
ReplyDeleteBoston Rob and Cheryl is hidden. Do they come out at Tribal lol.
ReplyDeletedo you think her "aww shucks" is an act? Is anyone still that Coal-Miner's-Daughter-y?
ReplyDeleteSo my pool girl went to Island of the Idols and met Rob and Sandra? Trying to catch up here.
ReplyDeleteI have all the fixin's ready for the BB party!!
RBF was invented for Sandra. LOL
ReplyDeleteMonty - I'm sore at you. That Kwibi story killed me.
ReplyDeletePetals, I know a few Coal-Miner's-Daughters. It's not all that uncommon where I'm from.
ReplyDeleteOh, Petals. Wasn't it the best?
ReplyDeleteSandra f no lol
ReplyDeleteI know they need the strength, but vote out one of those so-called alpha boys.
ReplyDeleteI always imagine Kentucky being blue-grass beautiful with horses and ladies with big hats & champagne.
ReplyDeleteLoved Robs question to Sandra and her response... priceless 🤣
ReplyDeleteI want to thank every one for the prayers for my brother. Thank you so much.
ReplyDeletedang, I like Ronnie :(
ReplyDeleteMonty Elizabeth lost her vote.
ReplyDeleteKeep going.....

ReplyDeletesee ya'll over at BB!!
ReplyDeleteSee ya at BB everyone!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming by - the BB post is up and running!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jackie!!! You
ReplyDeleteWhen will the men quit wearing their under pants. Its disgusting to have to watch that the whole season. I am not a prude but find it really irritating. They knew where they were going. Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
ReplyDeleteAnonymous 1:42 - Did you watch Season 1 (Richard Hatch)? Underwear is GOOD, by comparison.
ReplyDeleteVery funny silk!
ReplyDeleteWonder how Jackson would do on survivor.. LOL
ReplyDeleteCherryPie,
ReplyDeleteHa!! No "special deliveries" of watermelon, so I suspect not very well.
