Survivor fans ready?
Ah, they're meditating at Soka. Josh tells us he's in a good position between two opposing alliances which both trust him. Meanwhile, the other four on his tribe want to blindside him.
On Tika, the birdhouse has their attention -- two red sticks in the form of an X are in it. Carolyn tells us it was her. She's trying to lead them to where she hid the fake idol. Ohh! Sarah spots the X on the ground and the hidden fake idol. She sneaks it away to check it out. She honestly thinks she has an idol.
To the Reward Challenge -- Reward is a large tarp, smaller tarp for second place. Winning tribe will pick who goes on a journey from the other tribes. Obstacles and a giant slingshot.
SOKA wins first place! RATU gets second place. Josh from Soka, Carson from Tika, Jaime from Ratu get chosen for the "journey."
The three go off on a boat. Similar to the first three who went out, they have to go through the jungle and a path, get to know each other but be mindful of what they say. Then each goes off on their own path. Each gets a note that they have an Immunity Idol which is only good until the Merge. They will not be returning to their tribe. New buff in bag.
Jaime thinks she has two idols now -- she doesn't know one is fake.
Josh goes to Tika. He tells them about the buff. He tells them he's a physical trainer. Lies about his real job. Sarah and Yam Yam discuss Josh lying and is probably really a surgeon. (Which he is.)
Carson arrives on Ratu. He tells them about the buff. He wants to give them the impression that Yam Yam was running the show on Tika. Matthew wants to bond with Carson as he had with Jaime.
Jaime is, of course, on Soka. After all, it's the only tribe left. They don't really know her. They have Danny go through her bag. Matt and Frannie are in on the search.
Immunity Challenge time! They arrive by separate boats. Dive one at a time, climb tower, leap off while grabbing a key, floating balance beam, when all done puzzle.
SOKA wins first Immunity. RATU wins second Immunity. Tika will be going to Tribal.
Yam Yam says Josh is "not Tika." Yam Yam tells Carolyn she should be the decoy vote and they will vote out Josh. Carolyn is not pleased with that. Sarah and Yam Yam try to convince Josh that Carolyn will be voted out. Meanwhile, Carolyn talks to Josh. He tells her he has an idol and the others plan to vote for her. He will use it to save her. Carolyn doesn't feel she has the loyalty of her own tribe. Should she have Josh play his idol for himself and vote out Sarah? Hmm.
Time for Tribal Council and Jeff's Probst-ing questions. Josh is questioned first. He asks the others about Josh or just "new kids" in general. Yam Yam says "Bye, Felicia" and Carolyn says she's Felicia.
Time to vote ... Josh plays an idol for himself.
The tally - Josh, Josh, Sarah, Sarah ...
The plan Carolyn made with Josh worked and they shake hands much to Yam Yam's shock and awe.
Bye, Sarah!

ReplyDeleteHey Jackie! How are ya?
Hi Everyone!
Doing okay, Petals. Thank you for your donation!
ReplyDeleteThanks go to Penny, too when she comes aboard.
('welcome. What you do is invaluable & I wish I could do more)
ReplyDeletepoor Josh
ReplyDeleteHi Jackie! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteHi Petals!
Hey Penny!
ReplyDeleteI'm beginning to like her, even though she's a looney toon!
ReplyDeleteThat chick is a kook. LOL She'd be a handful IRL, such a personality, but interesting on the show.
ReplyDeleteHi folks
ReplyDeleteIKR Penny? She's crazy like a fox hahaaaa
ReplyDeletehey Hon!
ReplyDeleteOK, I still wonder how they all packed clothes that matched the team colors?
ReplyDeleteLOL, Petals.
ReplyDeleteHi Joe!!
Hi Jackie and Petals and Penny
ReplyDeleteI hope that makes Carson & Josh safe, or at least get an advantage.
ReplyDeleteHey Glenn!
ReplyDeleteHi Joe!
ReplyDeleteHi Glenn!
ReplyDeleteCarolyn is definitely out there, but she does know the game.
ReplyDeleteOh my! Yikes!
ReplyDeleteYAY!!!!!!!!!!!! Exactly what I'd hoped.
ReplyDelete(yes Jackie - TRUTH about Carolyn, for sure)

ReplyDeletewhy did she immediately assume he was a surgeon?
ReplyDeleteCake decorators must have steady hands, too. Jus' sayin'
ReplyDeletePoor Josh cant catch a break on any tribe
{pet peeve: "I'm taken back"}
ReplyDeleteI hope Josh will be safe. He's not my pool pick, but I like him. He probably shouldn't have told a fib. Especially since he said something else.
ReplyDeleteI hate this. I think it shouldn't be able to be done.
ReplyDeleteSame, Penny. But so many people over the years fib about their real jobs.
ReplyDeleteThat is crazy the tribe swap with Temporary Idols!
ReplyDeleteYeah - bag pilfering should be a BIG NO-NO
ReplyDeleteThat is crazy the tribe swap with Temporary Idols!
ReplyDeleteThe good thing is most of them know not to put their idols in their bags.
ReplyDeletePetals, they knew what Josh's job was already. It's sad.
ReplyDeleteremember, back in the day, when there were always a few people who didnt know how to swim? LOL
ReplyDeleteHowdy everyone!! Better late than never I say!
ReplyDeleteIs there an idol under the bench??
ReplyDeleteIt sucks to be short.
ReplyDeleteSo last week we had people here begging to get in on the pool....added them in and they don't show up!!
ReplyDeleteBrandon - MVP
ReplyDeletehey SQUEEEEEEE
ReplyDeleteHey Petals
ReplyDeleteMy pick Yam Yam could be in troble!~
ReplyDeleteI think Josh is going to need to use his idol, unfortunately.
ReplyDeleteI hope they stop sending the women home...
ReplyDeleteHi sue Gee
ReplyDeleteHi everyone, I’m fashionably late for the party. Sorry if you’ve already discussed this, but has anyone listened to the new Jeff Probst Survivor podcasts, On Fire? There’s been 2 episodes so far and new shows each week. Great behind the scenes info and they are inviting Bruce to come on a future season.
ReplyDeleteHi Glenn
ReplyDeleteHi Michelle - No, I'm too old. I don't even know how to listen to podcasts.
ReplyDeleteSueGee, thanks for the pool addition! Haha, let’s go Brandon!
ReplyDeleteWhy would you let someone see your immunity idol. They make this mistake every year. Promise to use it on someone else; and they are voted out themselves.
ReplyDeleteJam Jam my pool pick could be in trouble!
ReplyDeleteHi Michelle.
ReplyDeleteMy Aunt Joyce on my dads side passed away on Saturday. The funeral service is Friday!
ReplyDeleteBruce deserves to come back!
ReplyDeleteGlenn - My condolences on your loss.
ReplyDeleteHi Glenn, Petals you’re never too old! I listen to podcasts on my phone using the pod app. It was free, and I enjoyed it tremendously. They just did a commercial for it.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry Glenn! {{{Glenn}}}
ReplyDeleteMy condolences Glenn
ReplyDeleteSome personalities I dig (Andy Cohen, et al) have them, but I've never taken the time to learn. Maybe I should! TY
ReplyDeleteOh no, the looks on their faces.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jackie and Sarah voted out!
ReplyDeleteShe didn't see that coming.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jackie. See everyone next week. Have a great rest of week!!
YES!!!
ReplyDeleteCiao PennyPenPen! xoxo
ReplyDeleteThank you Jackie, as always!
See everyone next week
Well played on Carolyn and Josh's part.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting Jackie, and condolences Glenn. It’s nice to have a pool survivor to cheer for.
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming by tonight!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jacie and Petals and Sue Gee
ReplyDeleteWell, there goes my girl. Thank you Jackie!!!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry for your loss Glenn
