'The Amazing Race 11: All Stars' - Season Finale East Coast Update
Eric and Danielle won. Second place is Dustin/Kandice.
At least it wasn't Mirna. I love how she said everyone got to see the "real Charla & Mirna". Yes...the real Mirna is a nasty, condescending, clueless witch. As much as I couldn't stand Eric, at least I'm glad Danielle got something for her hard work and putting up with Eric ;)
UGH!! I was rooting for the BQ's - they PLAYED the game. I am glad that Shmirna didn't win and honestly never really saw Eric and Danielle as "competition" for the other teams. I'm disappointed and can't wait for the next season of TAR - when does that start anyways?????
You have to give E&D credit, that's for sure. After suffering through repeated airport setbacks and a non-elimination leg they really came back from the dead.
Yeah, I think the "real Mirna" is exactly who we thought she was early on.
i'm glad ED won, they remind me of flo & zach and i thought they'd win cause they had been really unlucky in the middle of the race esp with flights. i started liking them only last week in guam. i really felt danielle deserved it :)
but i wanted the BQs to win too, i wanted the 1st all girl group, and they played the game really well, kinda admire how strong they are physically too actually. but after being lucky winning 1st place a couple of times, when it truly mattered, they ran out of luck i guess.
i don't really care for C&M. they weren't the team i hope would win. so it's all good.
Guess the spoilers were right! Really thought the BQ's deserved to win. The kayak challenge definately favored E/D (having Eric's strength) I really hated the way C/M always said they have to get to san Fransisco or wherever they were going as a matter of life and death....winning a million is not life or death Donna
I was beginning to think that Smirna made a deal with the devil, but Karma came through, after all. Yes, Mirna, we got to know you REALLY well! DITTO what Orkmommy said about you. I wish it had been the BQ's too, (I think they deserved to win) but I was soooooo happy to see Eric & Danielle get to that finish line before C & M that I was OK with the ending. I'm going to try out that pirate show, too. Hope it's interesting. BB and July seem so far away.
Jackie -- this is a holdover from the your previous posting... I still don't get what TTOW stands for. You said the hippies who won season 9 shouted it all the way, but, uh... duh.. does that stand for something??? Sorry you have to literalyl spell it out for moi.
Darn...darn....darn....rats...rats!! I was sooo disappointed that E/D won! I was going to say that the "boobs"won...all four of them,but I won't.....lol.I thought I would be okay with them winning,and I guess I am,they did get yielded twice and maybe it was karma that they beat out the BQs,since they did have a hand in each of those. And I know that I didn't want Mirna to win(yeah,we ALL saw what you were made of,honey),BUT,Charla is my hero! She was awesome in the things that she did and hardly ever a complaint,AND she had to put up with M's mouth! I just loved it when she would zing her right back at times! So GOOD JOB,CHARLA...you can be so proud of yourself. Next time,pick a better partner!!
I love the show even on "off" seasons, which this was. Disappointed that the BQ's didn't win as they were awesome competitors. Hated Mirna but have to say I was pulling for Charla during the last show...that is one spunky woman. I think Phil was pretty impressed with her too. Didn't care for Eric and Danielle but they won fair and square so I guess we have to live with it. Unfortunately the BQ's strength failed them during both the kyacking and diving events and I don't thing their fight helped concentration on the final event either. Well, on to the next round! I love traveling around the world.
