Someone in comments asked for a refresher on how a double eviction week works. If memory serves, the new HOH immediately nominates two for eviction. Then on Friday POV is played, Saturday is POV Meeting, Sunday is live eviction and new HOH. Then it all goes as normal once again.
Here are today's events from the Big Brother House of Hugs and Kisses:
- Now Daniele and Evel think the odd votes could have been a mix of Dustin, Amber, and Eric. Most of the mind change there is because Julie cast doubt on the Eric theory when talking to Daniele in HOH.
- Dick plans to mock religion in the POV comp to bug Jameka.
- They've been having a huge ant problem in the kitchen. This has been going on for a few days now.
- The food comp was held today. Dick got a slop pass which he gave to Jen. They seemed to have to swing at something (pinatas?) and smash 'em. Zach cut his hand during the comp but enjoyed it although he said it wasn't a good outcome. I think Dustin is on slop, perhaps Zach.
- Amber told Jameka that she knows that she'll win HOH for the final three and have to break her promise to take Dustin to the final two with her. @@ Delusional much?
- Jameka thinks that Amber can see the future. (I don't even have a witty remark for that one. Anyone?)
- Jen's ear is still bothering her.
- Amber kept talking about getting all the money signs -- I'm thinking it was something to do with winning money in the food comp. She's not on slop, so maybe that's all the money signs bought her.
- The LNC Remainders have been talking about nominations -- it seems that Dick and Daniele will be going on the block, surprise surprise!
- Amber thinks she cries too much. Gee, I hadn't noticed.
- She can't control it. (Well, learn!)
Amber: One of the best criers I've ever seen! Kudos!
Eric: One really good eyebrow!
Daniele: Very pretty smile!
Jessica: Can sleep through anything, a quality envied by many!
Dustin: Nice eyes!
Jen: Calm and collected!
Zach: Interesting comic book knowledge!
Dick: Has accomplished the feat of blowing smoke rings to the level of professional.
Jameka: Despite her worries, she fits in fine with a house of crazy white people!

ReplyDeleteIs there a video and/or transcript of Amber's anti-semitic tirade? It's made such an uproar and yet I've never seen it anywhere.
As for the rest of this mess, I give up. I have always loved BB until this year and now I'm having to force myself to watch it...have even missed a couple of shows and didn't go into withdrawal.
One thing that does bother me is how little CBS is actually showing of what's going on in the house. The only way I'd know as much as I do is because of you. Yes, CBS has done some pretty bad editing in the past but this season it seems they're going overboard in not showing A LOT of what's happening. Seems to be mostly recaps and more recaps.

Amber's sucking up to Zach is because she needs a man in her life and feels the tide turning with Dustin and Eric. I think Dustin is getting fed up with her and Eric....she is not too happy with him.
Since Jen keeps reminding everyone she doesn't need the money why would anyone vote for her to win it all!?!

commenter about Dick's spit--I just want to vomit every time I see him do that and then know people are walking around barefoot and laying on the grass. Can't BB get him a spittoon.? It may be minor but it's another sign that he really doesn't respect other people. I have to disagree with deanna and others(last post) about Dick not attacking people's lives outside the house--how about"I hope you die a slow painful death"," no wonder your a cold fish and no one can pleasure you. You can't even take care of yourself". Those are pretty personal about Jen's life outside the house....Which for the record...I must say that convo between Dick/Jen was inappropriate and quite expicit. Watching the video Jen kept trying to end it and Dick just kept going....very perverse IMO.

ATTN ERIC FANS... He is not cool and does not represent much of America. In fact, he is one goofy looking weasel who appears very nervous and twitches when he lies. It is so obvious I cannot believe that some of the HG don't get it. He looks so uncomfortable that it is uncomfortable to watch him. I would hope that he would not be playing so "dirty" if he was not in the position he is in. Yes everyone lies...AND I was routing for him in the beginning but there is something disgusting about him as time goes on. IMO his comments about incest..."it takes one to know one"! There are some lines that you should not cross and this is one of them.

RE: Amber. I too would call and try to get her off the show if she was my daughter. It is so apparent that the light is on but no one is home. I agree that she may have a hard time after the show.
Jackie: How can someone contact CBS to express concerns about the DR sessions? I would also like to relay to them that America would appreciate CBS calling "AP" up on his continuing "incest" remarks.

ReplyDeleteDanielle: her face always looks flawless. I don't see any blemishes or dark circles under her eyes and her lips always seem to be well glossed in that weird shade of white/pink that I don't think anyone wears anymore.
Dustin: he seems to really have a lot of self love which can cause me to laugh a lot especially when the self love doesn't seem warranted.
Zach: he seems blessedly clueless.
Jen: I love how she's always looking for the right angle of the cameras in the house to make herself look good.

JOKER'S UPDATE has some very up to the moment happenings in BB house. More and more negative comments are being made about Eric. Dick is crude but it tells it to your face. Eric is vile and stabs you in the back. Dustin is stupid along with a few others.

Jen has endured so much. Could any of us endure what she has?
I began this game as an anti-Jen person. But now I have to give her credit for such great self-control. Sure she may be "weak" in other areas but weren't we all at one point in our lives.
Dick on the other hand, has had plenty of time to grow, develop, and mature. Jen is way beyond him in many aspects.

Sorry Jackie, I tried to pick something nice about all of them, but the hgs personalities kept getting in the way. A disgusting group. I watched some of ShowToo last night where Jameka and Amber plopped down in the kitchen just to be near dear old Dick. It was ugly and completely unnecessary. I wanted to find some strategy to it. I thought maybe Jameka was baiting him, trying to get him to do something to get him kicked out of the house. But no, she just liked being there. Odd. She seemed to like the confrontation, and no matter what she says would probably be disappointed if he was voted out. Since she seemed to enjoy the whole thing. Her claim to fame now. And what was with her calling Dick's mother a B****? Very odd. Was she drinking? All three of them reminded me of siblings stuck in the backseat during a long car drive. They both had to be talking or yelling or insulting or kicking the back of the car seat the whole drive. Okay Jackie, I am hanging my head. Susieq made me feel bad about trashing the hgs. And it is contradictory for me to watch the show and not like the hgs. I think it is because I keep hoping they will prove me wrong. So I will try....gritting my teeth, trying to not think of spittal in the back yard or praying on the Jack Shack. Being positive. Daniele: She exhibited flashes of really getting the game and how to play. That was early on and before her dad intervened. She is a beautiful young girl.
Dustin: He is not overweight and appears healthy.
Zach: He reminds me of all the smart kids in high school. I thought the group hug from early on in the show showed wit on his part. I do not think he realizes the image he gives off when he stares. I think he would do anything to get to sit near Daniele.
Jameka: She is very pretty. I think she truly believes what she says about her Faith and I think she is repeating what she heard at her Church and wants very much to live by their teachings.
Amber: I think Amber wants to be a good mother and a good friend, and is also speaking the words she was taught as a child.
Dick: I think Dick is who he is and he offers no apologies for it. He doesn't try to change just to please the other hgs.

I think we should remember that Eric didn't ask to be AP, he was ASKED to do it. To blame him for the position he is in is pretty lame considering it wasn't his choice.

We weren't asked anything and so we must try really hard to GET OVER IT! Don't be mad at Eric because it wasn't HIS fault.

Wow, it took me FOREVER to read all the posts! Lots of good stuff. I even agree with some of the negative opinions of Eric (none of the name calling tho). It's really sad that people resort to name calling to get their point across, if you don't like a person say just that...IMO the bloggers on here are intelligent enough to get the point without the bashing...
ReplyDeleteI really do like Eric and think it's a shame that he felt he had to play dirty to stay afloat. Isolation with strangers, apparently, can make you do ugly things to entertain yourself...
I, too, agree that America's Player is a huge flop! My feelings are, for it to work, America should be the one to pick the player. Even then we need better players and probably a couple of weeks to get to know all of them for us to chose. And then we would have to all actually like that player so as not to compromise their chances of winning! I think it brought Eric to his demise. He might eek by for a couple of more weeks, but I don't feel if he was one of the final 2 against Jen, Zach or Jessica he would have a snowballs chance in hell.....but I'm still supporting him! Never give up! =o)
Here's a question (Jackie I hope you don't mind?!?)...has anyone out there thought of a twist for next years BB? For example, *I*, would love to see them secretly pair siblings....like they did with friends in BB6. Altho, it might be hard if they looked alike...but it would certainly make for good TV! My sister and I fought like cats and dogs, but if anyone tried to attack the other? Watch out, it was tag team time! ...any ideas out there?

For the very least both Dick and Danielle will be able to play for POV instead of backdoor plan. Who by all means should be Amber whom is backdoored, ( send to mental facility ) for Hmm ~~ I'll think of something HAHAAAAAAAA-- however we do have a twist < g > Wow not much, could all change, I hope various individuals don't scream POV " set up ' if Dick win's POV proclaiming it was created simply for ED, HMMMMM I wonder what it'll be. Jameka to Dick -- I Love you - I Love you -- I Love you, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, Oh my goodness, this video was a complete horrific nightmare, Editing certainly a nightmare for Cannon! These people have serious mental issues. I'm going to have to give this round of worship tactical smearing to Dick`. Surely Jameka / WAMber realize they're being viewed right? Their proclaim of sanctimony goodness certainly went out the window during cursing phase, which tended to include Lords name in vain. I personally rather hear F word as opposed to GD, All I can add is ; if AP vote indeed a twist OIMO - It's doubtful Dick would be headed home. You guy's I'm the first to admit I often change my mind root for underdog, earlier my daughter and I discussed why Amber's behavior is erratic bizarre` therefore, its unlikely my view's on Amber would warrant me to have pity on her, however I'll be rooting for her to get EVICTED!! Amber has got to go prior ED. I'm unsure in regards to Danielle, one thing for sure she's not in any way similar to last years Janelle.
