This isn't my video as it was going down as I was trying to get mine uploaded to YouTube, but it covers the backyard events.

  2. Jackie - Your post from 6:40 this morning ended with "I need excitement!". I guess BB listened to you :-)

  3. I've been watching the youtube feed reposts and checking other blogs to get all the info that the little guy and pirate and the statue were conveying. I then did some googling and found most of the quotes. They can be attributed to Poor Richard's Almanac, Gore Vidal, Lord Byron and Sir Walter Scott. The downstream from the herd is either a album title by Riders in the Sky or this cowboy poem (http://cowboyfrank.net/humor.htm) which is really funny. Some of the statue poses could be The Scream and The Thinker (famous painting and statue) the archer pose doesn't seem to be attributed to any one piece of art. They HGs may have to know these things or they are just clues to what is going on in the house. I also noticed that in the rabbit cage are VETO symbols on sticks, like a bouquet.

    Double Eviction?
    Coup D'Etat?
    HOH Comp.?
    Who knows.
Whatever it is, it is interesting.

  4. Classic Jen line while watching all of this......
"Oh God, more things to remember".....LOL

Today's visitors are either delivering clues of things to come or the next HOH comp will be about what was said and done.
Whatever it is, all I can say is YEAH!!!!!!!!! Give the HG something to focus on besides each other.

  5. Why can't I find the most recent YouTube videos from BB? I go there and search for "Big Brother 8" or Big Brother US" and sort by Date Added. The most recent videos I see are from 9 hours ago. Am I doing something wrong?

    ReplyDelete
  6. ORKMommy - They have a time lapse in posting the videos to their search database. Your best bet is to look at an account (like the one I featured here) and see what his videos are, then see look at the ones with similar topics. Go by the account, not the search terms.

  7. Thanks Jackie..so I know Hamsterwatch posts videos, and you do...any other good ones I could check?

  11. A snitch in time saves nine??? there are nine house guests... Who's the snitch... Eric... or some one else?

  12. Ooh, I loved last night's show and now this excitement! Can't wait until tomorrow night. Promises to be a good one. (I won't share my hope for the outcome for fear of offending anyone.)

I'm thinking someone may be coming back in--starts to smell after three days? And then the double eviction?

On other notes, I too think Eric is gay, partially based (but not only) on a physical attribute that I've heard is a predictor--but don't want to stereotype.

Don't know if this was on the show or on Sho-2, but awhile back Dustin was disparaging Dick (behind his back) about going back to only being a bartender. Hm, guess Dustin forgot he's a shoesalesman (of course, he's younger so could have higher aspirations). No offense intended toward shoe salesmen, but I didn't see that he was in the position to look down his nose at a bartender.

  14. P.S. Big Brother is my absolute favorite show all year long--I live for summer--sick isn't it? I think it must be because it's the only show that doesn't make you wait a week to find out what happens (other than soaps). I missed BB6 because I was working nights at the time.

Whoever said the three bunnies had something to do with those who are left and wore the bunny suits--I think you're on to something.

  15. A snitch in time saves nine and fish and house guests smell after three days. Maybe someone is coming back into the house and they will reveal everything that's been going on behind everyone's back inlcuding AP.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Dick is trying to figure out the significance of the numbers. "It's 12:36 and 47 seconds."

Any ideas? The 5 is missing and the 4 and 6 are out of sequence.

  17. Whatever all of this is, I love it! It's brought some excitement back into the house. The scenarios some of you are coming up with are fascinating. I am really looking forward to tomorrow night. Jackie, thanks so much for bringing us all the latest happenings. As others have said, you rock and this blog is the absolute best!

  18. Jackie, Thanks for your updates. They are great. Thanks for doing double duty on your blog & YouTube

Also, just a personal note. No subliminal message needed last night. All my votes went to Terry Fator, AGT. He is great!

  19. "A snitch in time saves nine."
"Fish and visitors stink after three days."
"Three people can keep a secret. Two are dead."
"What a tangled web we weave when we first practice to deceive."
    "There are no little enemies."
"It's not enough to succeed, for others will fail."

    I think i have it
"A snitch in time saves nine."
There are nine housegeust left, right? the "snitch" is the banner plane.

    "There are no little enemies."
means that everyone is your enemy always looking out for nuber one.

"It's not enough to succeed, for others will fail."
The only reason to continue playing is to watch others fail.

"Three people can keep a secret. Two are dead."
The partners. joe and carol are gone the only one left is dick.
Remember in the beginning, they were the secret partners?

"What a tangled web we weave when we first practice to deceive."
Means that with the first lie told the game is begun.

"Fish and visitors stink after three days." it's a fact that fresh fish spoil after three days. and that's when the first nominations were held. or that's when people started to gget on each others nerves.

The next HOH will be about the past.
and i think we may be looking at a double eviction.

I definitely think you are onto something with that one. Doesn't sound good for Dick though.

  21. The quote is: "A stitch in time saves nine." It's not "snitch." Rethink your strategies.

  22. " You know what time it is? " LOL - A friend and I were discussing reality shows on VH1 why we felt this season BB had to bring in HG's that were way over the top, as a matter of fact, I mentioned Flavor Flav his quote after he'd send someone home, " Your time is up " although Flav had Alice theme instilled in his reality show similar to what BB is doing, IMO perhaps Dick is an actor along side Eric who is twist, I haven't viewed Tuesday's BB Epi nor read any updates for last 2 dates,(I'm finally getting caught up ) However I sensed perhaps Dustin may be voted out, with an immediate possible AP eviction. Thanks Jackie, I get caught up on updates.

  23. This is pretty far out, but maybe Joe and Carol are coming back upon the demise of Dustin (and later Jess)?

    k in wisco

    ReplyDelete
  24. You can't bring people back who already know the secrets...Joe and Carol know about Eric being America's player...they won't be coming back as a result.

    ReplyDelete
  25. drceline, I think the little guy purposely was saying "A snitch in time saves nine" at least part of the time.

Could be wrong, but that's the way I read it reported elsewhere.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Alice in Neverland explanation by anonymous is brilliant! Good job.

    ReplyDelete
  27. drceline - Yes, the saying is "stitch" but the Mini-Mad Hatter was definitely saying "snitch"

    ReplyDelete
  28. drceline--
    they can't come back
unless they are the snitch ???

I know that doesn't make much sense, but then what does?

    ReplyDelete
  29. Well I guess for the first time ever then we aren't evicting anyone? There are 9 HGs left...so a snitch must save Dick/Dustin...what else could a snitch saves nine mean?

    ReplyDelete
  30. drceline, that's just what I've been thinking--maybe no one will be evicted tomorrow night.

  31. I'm wondering, too, if the next HOH will be the HG's having to figure out which riddle suits which player. That one that aliceinwonderland mentioned about
Dick, Joe and Carol sounds so right.

  32. Anyone think there is any significance to "In the Looking Glass"?

Could there be someone who's been watching all who will now come into the game?

And if it's true (as I believe has been reported) that Eric has been in the DR for an hour or more at a time, what's with that?

    ReplyDelete
  33. I might be confused, but I'm not understanding the Joe, Dick, Carol theory. It was Dick, Dustin, and Jessica in the room segregated from the rest at the start of the show.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I can't remember for certain but I think I remember Dick talking about being in Pirates of the Caribbean. He definitely looks like he could be in it.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Jackie, re the Joe Dick Carol thing--do you remember who was reported to be the person applying and who was recruited in each case?

I think Carol was recruited but Joe and Dick applied, right?

But then has it been said that both Dick and Danielle were in the running in a prior season?

    ReplyDelete
  36. Maybe the others have enemies too who have been watching through the looking glass?

    I know, a long shot.

    ReplyDelete
  37. If I recall correctcly, Dick, Joe and Jessica applied. Their "enemies" were recruited.

My current guess: Joe has been watching through the looking glass and is coming back.

    I can't wait for Sho-too tonight. (I don't get the feeds).

  40. What about the question "And after all, what is a lie but the truth in mascarade?" And the statement, "Always drink upstream from the herd". What the heck do those mean?

    ReplyDelete
  41. masqarade? Does someone know how to spell that?

    ReplyDelete
  42. joy n, I think it's masquerade.

And what about the songs? Any significance to those?

    Wild about Harry? Who's Harry?

Was Harry the rabbit in the Jimmy Stewart movie?

Lord I don't know--have to go out for awhile. I expect you all to have it figured out by the time I get back, lol.

    k in wisco

    ReplyDelete
  43. Jimmy Stewart was in Harvey. Funny enough, Harvey was about a sweet crackpot whose family was trying to get him committed to the mental home. Great movie.

    ReplyDelete
  44. LOL, thanks anonymous for reminding me it was Harvey not Harry.

Sheesh I guess I need to get away from this for awhile--a luxury the houseguests don't have.

    k in wisco

    ReplyDelete
  45. OK, one last try, maybe the rabbits and "Just Wild about Harry" have something to do with Harry Houdini--

ok, get the cane and pull me off now.

  46. Thanks k in wisco. My brain is swirling right now.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Then, there's the whole Harry Potter and golden snitch thing. I have to go back and look at the other things they said.

Was the living stature Francis of Assisi? I couldn't tell on the videos.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Since everyone else is going out on a limb with guesses I will too.

I think this all has to do with an upcoming POV/Luxury comp. I'm betting the POV is of a more powerful nature (like coup d'etat) than normal. Plus a winner and 2 or 3 HG's of their choice will be rewarded with movie night, and two of the most popular current movies are Pirates and Harry Potter.

I seriously doubt any of the evicted HG's are coming back at this point, I think all the "info" today will tie into comp questions, nothing more.

Does anybody know what the tags around the rabbits' necks said?

    ReplyDelete
  49. Anon 9:11... Yes Dick was a stand in or extra on the Pirates of the Carribean movie. Here is his Myspace sight, if you go into his photos you will see him in costume as well as picks with some of the cast & other rock stars.

  51. Just checked in on the feeds and it looks like D&ED are trying/are making a deal with Jess. In a 3-3 tie Jess votes out Dustin. Jess says if they can get Eric to go for it she's in.

How a few hours change things in the house of hamsters.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Just making this up as I go along...but what if the hgs were offered a chance to save the two noms if one of the nine tells a secret, or turns into a snitch? in other words outs their private conversations or alliances. That info could buy them off...would they do it? what would they tell? I keep thinking it is in BB's best interest to out Eric and maybe this is a way to do it. I think it is way (as someone posted already, was it Nana?) to use things for the next comp.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Did anyone else notice the question posed at the end of the video? odd

Who tried to convince the BB1 houseguests to all walk out of the house as a united group?
    a. Chicken George
    b. Eddie

    hmmm wonder what that means

    hey anon- you are brilliant.

The snitch will save the number 9. Remember jackie said we were a house guest short and set to end earlier than normal? If a snitch (a new player who has been watching all along) comes in and is exempt from nomination for the full course of one week like at the beginning of the game then we'll still have nine. Snitch in time. the game will stand still like a shock and we'll be back on course.

But maybe i'm wrong and joe carol and dick were our through the looking glass characters.

But i still think i'm right about the two that are dead and the three with secrets.

    was dustin a bunny?

I have a reason for asking.

    Thanks for the compliments

    Love,
    Alice in neverland

  55. Maybe that one girl that was listed as an alternate at the beginning has actually be in sequester this entire time and has been allowed to view certain things in the BB house (no DR's, but just certain info) Hmmmmmm, that is a thought. It would make the total after Thurs eviction 9 still... This is REALLY driving me nuts! LOL!!!

jackie, My theory is about the fact that they all had the secret partners. It didn't revolve around the fact of who was in the secret room but rather who had other connections in the house.

jessica applied dick and dustin were recruited from what i understand. I think jessica is our alice.

  57. Alice in Neverland... No, Zack, Daniele, Kail & Jen were the bunnies. Dustin is the "princess" with the crown & all! LOL!

  58. partners. We sarted out with
and to further clarify what i meant about the partners.

    we started out with

Joe and Dustin. Joe is gone

Jess and carol Carol is gone

Dick and Daniele. Seems like dick is set to go home.
That's why i said joe carol and dick instead of dick dustin and jess.

and i had a theory about the bunnies but it was contingent on one of the two nominees having been a bunny.

  59. We already know that Eric is this year's twist so I think all the clues are about him or him being in the house. I thought it odd that Julie didnt tell Kail about Eric last week. I believe 1 of the 3 who know of eric or 1 of the 3 that dont (after one is evicted thur.) will return(3 can keep a secret...)

That person will then have to race against time to complete some task involving spilling the beans ('snitch'ing in time) about eric (if they know about him now) or finding out about eric then spilling the beans(if they are one of the 3 that dont )and if they win, no one will be evicted (saves nine).

The time they have to comeplete the task may just be 3 days until BB itself starts to inform the rest of the house guests that they should be smelling something fishy about their new guest (fish and visitors...)

    ReplyDelete
  60. Tina...Julie didn't tell Kail about Eric on the broadcast BB8 show but she did tell her the next day on the Early Show (I think that's what it's called). By the time Kail did Housecalls, she knew about Eric.
