The Bachelorette

Here is a place for your comments about the third installment of Deanna and her remaining men. She's down to 11 suitors and so far, we're still interested.

Tonight, Deanna visits the Ellen DeGeneres Show with the guys, who will find a new way to answer that age-old question: Boxers or Briefs?

And the father we all like (is it Jason?) will get what looked in the previews like a one-on-one dinner date with Deanna. Will he finally reveal that he has a little boy? And what will her reaction be? We think we know, but what we don't know is if one of the other guys will tell her about it first, which would throw quite a different light on the evening.

A few of us will be live blogging as well.... it's a party at Jackie's every Monday night.

  1. helloooo... I'm making dinner but watching right now. Joy? are you here?

  2. Richard got the one on one and Jason will have the 2nd one on one.

Richard never brought a girl home to Mom and Dad...how strange!

    ReplyDelete
  3. HI Delee--

Yes.. who are the three who got to be in the house with her? I know Richard was worried about it but he got the one on one date.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Jeremy Paul Graham I believe

    ReplyDelete
  5. I'm here, too.

Jeremy, Graham and Paul are in the "big" house. They received the first three roses last week. Why does Jeremy have to be kind of a jerk when he's there? He was last week, too.

I'm not feeling much of a connection with Richard and DeAnna.

    ReplyDelete
  6. No rose for Richard boo hoo

    ReplyDelete
  7. Poor Richard, he seems like such a nice guy. But I guess if you're not feeling it.....

Hope this doesn't happen with Jason.

    ReplyDelete
  8. oh no -- she's not going to give it to RIchard... and she's crying up a storm to tell him.

    ReplyDelete
  9. At least Jeremy is not getting a one on one...hope he shows his true colors!!!

    ReplyDelete
  10. Hopr Nana's not missing the eye candy doing the line dancing!

    ReplyDelete
  11. Well, do we need to say it? They guys all DO look hot in boots, jeans and cowboy hats...

And Deanna looks pretty darn good herself.

My husband flew to NY and proposed to me in a black duster, boots and a big black hat... That, couples with living 18 months in Texas and I guess I have a new appreciation for that look, lol.

    ReplyDelete
  12. I thought that when I saw the previews...a little test to see who came runnin first.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Let's see if Jessie does any better than Richard during his one-on-one time.

Looks like he did okay. I'm still not feeling these two together.

    ReplyDelete
  14. OH what's with that editing? We know Deanna is going to be thrilled Jason has a son!

    ReplyDelete
  15. I hope the bitter barber (thank you dla) goes tonight. I'm already tired of his judgmental little looks and screwy remarks.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Think they want us to think otherwise. At least I hope so.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Wierd as Wiley is, it seems like everyone really likes him... like he must be pretty funny and more engaging in real life (less creepy that we've seen).

Deanna smells something about the barber, right? She has pulled him aside to speak to him about why he has an issue with Jeremy. That fake smile and the macho way he dealt with it has to have rubber her the wrong way. Did it rub you all the wrong way?

    ReplyDelete
  18. LOVE THE LOOK ON JEREMY'S FACE WHEN
    barber bunhead confronted him...

    ReplyDelete
  19. Ron is a jerk. DeAnna is standing up for Jeremy. Ron is trying to stir the guys up against Jeremy now. Jeremy is getting on my nerves, but I can't stand Ron.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I hope Jeremy is not pulling a Fairplay move....with his family gone!

Poor Ron getting called on the carpet!!!

Make me sick Jeremy and DeAnna

    ReplyDelete
  21. I don't see any sparks with Fred, either.

    ReplyDelete
  22. oh no, they are not going to kiss are they? No, that little smile and tilt of the head from Deanna means NO I'M NOT INTERESTED.

    ReplyDelete
  23. But he gets a rose... Robert! Who knew.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Wow Robert got a rose unbelievable

IM ing with daughter so back and forth

    ReplyDelete
  25. Ron reminds me of some TV star from like, the 70's... one of the major's buds on I Dream of Jeanie?

    ReplyDelete
  26. Ron strikes me as a manipulator. He knows Jeremy is big competition, so he's trying hard to turn all against him. I believe that may backfire on him tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  27. she really likes Jason. She was holding his hand pretty tight as they took off

    ReplyDelete
  28. What a cool AND romantic date! A helicoptor ride and an observatory. The sky, the moon. the stars.

    ReplyDelete
  29. THey're gonna make out, I betcha

    ReplyDelete
  30. These MOLE previews are looking good!

I think Ty won't bother DeAnna a bit.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Here it comes Ty DeAnna seems alright with it. OK Jason not too much about the kid. This is time for romance!

    ReplyDelete
  32. YAY! It didn't bother her at all. How can you resist a 3-yr-old?

    ReplyDelete
  33. YES YES YES Jason got a rose and now star-gazing

    ReplyDelete
  34. Definitely a connection!

    ReplyDelete
  35. The more Ron talks, the more he cuts his own throat.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Pompus, that's what Ron is.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Ellen has some really spot on insights. I wonder which guy she pointed to and said he's not going to last long.. do we think twiley?

    ReplyDelete
  38. So jason Fred and Robert are in the house weird combo

    ReplyDelete
  39. I know Sydney I wish I knew too

    ReplyDelete
  40. Well, that works against the cute guy --- forgot his name, but he was the first guys she really liked -- is it Graham? His longest relationship since high School has been 5 months.
Though he did kind of save it a bit when he said unfortunately he has had to move a lot...

    ReplyDelete
  41. Ellen made some good observations.

These guys need some serious dance lessons.

Paul got the rose from Ellen.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I think DeAnna is onto phony Ron. I'll bet Ellen was talking about Ron.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I think Ron is totally jealous of Jeremy. He just never lets it go.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Step it up Graham, now is the time. She leaned in for a kiss from him. and pulled him in for a second one.

But come on, the narrative of Deanna describing that kiss as wonderful. It was barely a peck, a nice peck and a nice moment but not a real KISS.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Tyler got a star named after him how nice DeAnna

    ReplyDelete
  46. Delee - Fred got a rose?

That was a sweet thing for DeAnna to do, naming a star for Ty.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Deanna and the host are talking about Ron. C'mon Deanna, you have good radar, Ron sux and you should just let him go....

    ReplyDelete
  48. Rose Ceremony -

    1st - Twilley

    2nd - Jessie

    3rd - Jeremy

    4th - Brian

    5th - Graham

    6th- Sean

    Goodbye - Ron and Paul

    ReplyDelete
  49. Twilley
    Jesse
    Jeremy
    Brian
    Graham
    Sean

Got roses Ron and Paul did not

    ReplyDelete
  50. Ron is such a jerk!

    ReplyDelete
  51. Ron lives in his own widdle world.

And he's a sore loser, too. "She didn't reject him. She just chose other guys." HUH?

    ReplyDelete
  52. whaaa? Twiley got the first rose?

And she finally let the barber go, What's sad is that the other guys is a nice one, but I understand, no chemistry.

Kinda interesting to see the guys on the other end.

Ron is creepy --He whispers "oh sweetie, I wish you the best, you're beautiful."

PS: It dawned on me,,, Shawn looks a little like a Baldwin.

    ReplyDelete
  53. I was thinking he looked like a Douglas....that hair I guess..ron the barber?
WHy oh WHY does she keep Twilley, there is no frikkin way she could be into him, just getting rid of the ones she really doesnt like.
I really want to see her with Brian more so I can make up my mind about him.....

    ReplyDelete
  54. WOW! I want to go on the date with the helicopter, observatory, and star naming!! That was really incredible! No one has ever named a star for me, or anyone in my family, or anyone I know... This may now become a prerequisite for any man who wants a shot with me! lol

So glad to see the bitter barber gone. He could not focus on the task at hand - DeAnna! He was so worried about Jeremy that he sabotaged any and all chance he had to get the girl! Ugh.

I think the definite "seat fillers" (guys who are simply there to keep the numbers) would be:

    Twilley
    Jesse
    Sean
    Fred
    Robert

Does anyone see any love connection with any of the guys mentioned above?

We have seen so little of her with Brian, and I want to check that out with you, terry in ca... I am curious as I think I like him, but we need to see more.

So that takes us back to the three:

    Jason
    Jeremy
    Graham

    Am I missing anyone??

Who do you like? Who do you think DeAnna likes?

Right now, I think she likes Jason and Jeremy best.

(she is becoming easier to read, when she is happy and when she is less happy)

Next week looks like there are some fireworks...

    ReplyDelete
  55. OK, I watched the show and I meant Sean reminds me of the Douglas clan...I dont see her interested in him at all though.
Im wondering why oh why you NEVER see her talking or interested in brian? He's nice, big, handsome, and she never gives him the time of day. Im thinking I dont care much for Graham, he really shoudl shave. Jeremy is wearing on me too, Im not sure why...they are making it such a front runner thiingk with abosolutely nothing about Brian......I say we are in for some serious plot twists.

    ReplyDelete
  56. I think Jason will be history soon. The "star" for Tyler was the giveaway since she made reference to the fact that at least Jason would have something if she didn't choose him in the end.

I like Jeremy. I know, I know...but he seems the most sincere and comfortable when with her and the fact the other guys (Ron especially) picked on him, just endeared him to me more. I'm a softie for people like that. Of all the others, other than Jason, I just can't see her with any of them. And again, I don't think she's ready to be a mother.

I think you're right terry in ca... and so I hold judgment on Brian until I see more of him with her.

    And I don't like Graham... too whishy/whashy...

Wonder who did what to make her react like that in previews for next week. It appears it's more than one of them who didn't do something she wanted. She cries easily.

Please send Twilly and Jesse home... quit leading them on. That's what hurts the most in this game and she certainly should know how it feels. Of course, I know she has to keep enough to keep the show going, but they have to know they don't have a chance with her.

Oh... and as for Richard... he was stupid. He said he wanted to kiss her. He had so many opportunities and let them pass... then when she takes this romantic carriage ride, what does he do, but look at the sights... when he should only hve had eyes for her. Jerk! I only call him names because I liked him too and if he had only gotten a little romantic, she would have kept him. That was what she was waiting for.

    OK... I'm finished!

    ReplyDelete
  57. dal -- I woudl agree with you on all fronts, and the three she likes most, but I think she really is attracted to Graham and is struggling with it big time because he has worrisome relationship skills -- he's not had long term relationships, and so really lacks the experience to get into deeper waters, unless he aces them naturally, which would be rare, but possible. And if it's due to the fact that he moves a lot (is that due to work?) then is that going to change for Deanna? (And what kind of pro basketball player is he? He's not tall enough to be in the NBA, right? I've seen him on no team...)

They show the two fighting in the previews for next week and I thought when I saw it that fighting like that means passion, not the Ron kind of jerk fighting...

    We shall see!

    ReplyDelete
  58. I think Graham should shave too Terry! lol

ANd I have a hard time with Jeremy.... I did not get 100% sincerity when he was talking about his parents. Maybe I'm wrong, as I wasn't there and it's an edited TV show, but I picked up on a slight edge of using that story to score points in Deanna's heart, which it totally did. Did you get any of that MEB?

Maybe he is more handsome in person but there's a little something off there for me... actually all of the top three are handsome at times and kinda goofy looking at others, and Richard was too... and of course, looks are only superficial, but we all know they count in the early stages.

When she gave the rose to seat-filler twiley first, I thought, the producers wanted to create a stir so told her to mention him first,so it would create some kind of drama... even HE was surprised she was keeping him. It's clear there's the three she's most interested in. Just like when it was clear Andrew Firestone and Jen connected on Day 1 but had to go through 12 weeks of the show.

I too wish she'd give a little more time to Brian... maybe she did in real time but they haven't shown it, otherwise why has he not tried to steal her away himself, or make the best of moments to steal her away, like the two who snuck up on her talking to Jeremy last night....or speak up like the guy did at Ellen?

  59. Last night was my first time watching Bachelorette. You guys made it sound so good I had to check it out. Why do many of you not like Jeremy? Did he do something in previous episodes to turn you off? Because from what I saw of him last night, I thought he was hot, sincere and confident. I thought he handled that jerk Ron pretty well. It's obvious the other guys feel he is a huge threat and want him gone. It's funny to me that these guys do all this male bonding. They seem to be having so much fun with each other that they forget the true purpose - winning the girl! Jeremy doesn't seem to be there to make new "buds" for life. He wants Deanna.

I like Jason a lot and think Deanna does too, but even though she reacted well to him having a son I think it might hurt his chances in the end. It is a very daunting thought for a young woman like her to take on raising a small boy.

I think if Richard would have just leaned in and kissed her, he'd still be there. I think she had better chemistry with him then some of those others who are still there.

I'm already hooked. Thanks guys - just what I needed - one more reality show to watch! LOL

    ReplyDelete
  60. Sydney, I am LOL! I have been curioius since the first show what type of "pro" basketball player Graham could be... Maybe he plays in Europe?

Maybe it is like Rachel from BB being called a horse trainer because she did it one summer! ha

I completely agree that any relationship with Graham would be a huge gamble right now, and I don't get the feel that DeAnna is ready to roll the dice this time around.

Also agree that there was something off in the way Jeremy told her about his family... Unsure if it was pure emotion, and discomfort speaking about something so personal, but there was that "lag" or pause that can sometimes be associated with those that are communicating in a less than truthful way. I certainly hope that is not the case. That would be devastating.

Next week looks great, and it appears we may get some insight. I will be on a plane next Monday night (drat!), so will need to watch online, but look forward to reading everyone's comments.

    ReplyDelete
  61. I don't know Sydney... maybe I'm too easy, but I took Jeremy's hesitation when she asked about his family as his not being ready to discuss the fact that his parents were deceased. Especially his mother. I thought his hesitation to mean his mother's death was more recent and about his father, like maybe his father had been gone for a longer period, so it wasn't as difficult for him. It was like he was going to say more, but then changed his mind.

Like I said earlier, I may be easy, but I just like him. Of course, my choice of men in my life weren't all that great, so that may tell you something. smile

    ReplyDelete
  62. oh guys, we are all in a pretty good agreement place arent we? I def think Graham is cute, but needs to shave, and he is not stable enough and hasnt let himself love all this time. richard was a nice guy, and who knows, now all the gals might rush up to him....he has a tad of celebrity. But he really didnt know how to romance a gal.
Jeremy is an attorney and he knows how to choose his words and keep his cool, I think he's done that well, and he is right out there for her.
With al the editing done on these shows, my Brian could be the guy after all! they just NEVER show him in any kind of light, god or bad.
Twilley (seat filler I loved it) I think she keeps him cause she needs the numbers, but alos cause he is nice and non threatening.
Ron was just ..what can I say...full of himself..he creeped me out, although at first I thought he was cute.
I think Jesse is a true catch but not for her. He could be her best pal forever. No chemistry.
She wants to stay close to her family....some of these guys can go anywhere but others are pretty set in their area (Jason and his son, his whole support system & job)I like him, but I dont think he's the one.
This is the first time I really am struggling and it all seems better editting for some reason...just telling us what they want to, not giving away too much.
I just love it that she is so herself, and doesnt play coy or phony....

    ReplyDelete
  63. I just checked the bios and three of them live in Texas....Brian, Jeremy and Twilley.....and isnt she from Texas?

    ReplyDelete
  64. Delee. I had gotten Fred and Paul mixed up last night.

Meb, I'm pretty sure that Jeremy said that his father had died a year and a half after his mom. Maybe he was just closer to her. But, have to say, that pause bothered me, too.

What bothered me also about Jeremy was his kind of cocky attitude when he "lived" in the big house that first week. I still like him, but I'm "watching" him.

I agree that Brian is handsome and seems like a nice guy. I keep waiting for DeAnna to take more notice of him. Well, we still have plenty of time, reality-show-wise.

Dia, I agree with your "no connection" list. I believe all those guys days are numbered. I'm less enthused about Graham after last night's episode. I don't know that I would want to take a chance on a 29 year old guy with little (almost, no) experience in relationships.

I still like Jason the best so far, but I'm not so sure that Tyler would be the biggest problem. The "ex" factor might worry DeAnna more. It appears that Jason has sole custody and who knows what kind of problems would arise with the ex wanting to maintain her propriety (is that the right word?) over the new wife. (Believe me, been there, done that. Not fun.)

Like others here, I'm reserving judgment on Brian. Lets see what happens there.

    ReplyDelete
  65. If Brian isnt here "the one" then he should be the next bachelor!

    ReplyDelete
  66. well, if Brain is the new Bachelor, I think several of us would be happy to be on his show... :-)

    ReplyDelete
  67. I can play "cougar" to Brian as our next Bachelor... :)

    ReplyDelete
  68. Sydney & DLA, if brian would be the next Bachelor then I might have to have support, my heart couldnt take it that I could be his grandma!
Seriously, we could suggest Brian, dont they have a email or phone or something they always say "If you know who should be the next Bachelor or Bachelorette" during the show?
I just think I would really like to get to know what he is all about, he is not competitive with the other guys, laid back, but when they interview him he thinks shes wonderful.
I wonder what the big shock with Jesse is????
