My full review of the show will be on TV Squad later. For those who looked for my previously mentioned article on reality show hosts, that's been rescheduled for Tuesday.

As always, please feel free to hang out in the comments area during the show! I've put in a new bungee jump. I hope you like it!

  2. I could never say those names of the towns/places. Weird words are a road block for me! :-)

    Bunch up again, hate that!

  3. Hey, everyone. Another Sunday, another country. I would be at a large disadvantage. I have never driven in snow.

I like Mel and Mike. I'm glad they are my team.

  7. Becky, I liked the remark as they crossed the street, "A stuntman knows how to get hit by a car!"

  8. Stick in snow is better than automatic.

  9. those guys just want to talk to those blondes, I wouldn't trust a thing they say.

    ReplyDelete
  10. I thought more would do the bride one...it looked fun.

    ReplyDelete
  11. LOL about the car. I have a question.... why do they seem to have driving a manual shift.

If I had applied for A-R I would learn to do things that seem to be a repeat each season.

  12. Do you think the bride/groom couples are real?

    ReplyDelete
  13. No idea Petals!

I drove a stick at age 4, a tractor! HaHa

  16. I can't drive a stick. That's on the bucket list... lol

    ReplyDelete
  17. That bride is so tall she looks like she's on stilts compared to the two blondes.

    ReplyDelete
  18. LOL Sydney Bucket list! Love it!

  19. With the exception of my first car, every car I've owned has been a stick shift. I prefer them -- more control on ice and snow.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I learned to drive when I was around twelve. It was a stick shift.

Sydney, stick is easy. Just think of an H. Start at the top, down, up and over top and then bottom.

  27. Note to self: Wear granny pants if in Russia!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Gee, everyone has matching underwear. SO they gave them all blue exercise tops and bathing suit type bottoms to run in. BUT it's cold and they did have to deal with exposing themselves anyway, right?

    ReplyDelete
  29. I'm not sure I want to see either guy from my team in boxers.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Sydney, I do have to admit that I am glad there is SOMETHING you can't do! You are so accomplished.

Oh, the underwear race is next. Oh, my eyes, my eyes

    ReplyDelete
  31. Why is a chiropractor adjusting backs in the changing tent? THey haven't even begun the run!

    ReplyDelete
  32. That last bride's groom looked like a woman. Could they be that advanced? ANd even the Russians were shivering!

Becky, oh the list is long! I can't do even basic math for sh*t-- let alone balance my checkbook (never have).

  36. Delee- just caught note to self comment. ROFLMAO

    ReplyDelete
  37. Why do they not look COLD? I would be shivering!

  38. You guys are so funny to read when I haven't watched the show. It is an entirely different game when I just have the comments to use to get an idea of what is going on.

  39. The thrid place redhead came in with full bluksh on -- no problem with her make up after a 1/4 run

    ReplyDelete
  40. I am glad to see the mother and son do so well.

Come on Mel and Mike. Pick it up and put it down.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Sizzie!

Do you not watch this show in real time?

    ReplyDelete
  42. Sydney said... The thrid place redhead came in with full bluksh on -- no problem with her make up after a 1/4 run

Syd, that's because it was frozen on. I must say, some of these women have terrific figures.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Sizzie, I agree...it is fun to be here with you all, but I have no idea what they are talking about!!

    ReplyDelete
  44. 1 1/4 mile run 1/4 is a hop skip and jump...

    ReplyDelete
  45. I would love to see a ballet there. Wow.
Syd - I think the feminine-looking groom was just that: A young man, super-fem.

  51. No way the Flt A's from 1st to LAST. Not good, non-elim!

    ReplyDelete
  52. Good show, good night all. Thanks Jackie! Our team is doing very good, but V should not say to team up and then leave others in their dust. Not good karma!

  53. The Russian Ballet comes to San Antonio every Dec. to do The Nutcracker. Russian stars dance the major roles and locals do the smaller parts. Our granddaughter danced with them for two years. It is amazing watching them dance. Emily said they gave the children pointers and helped them improve their dance.

Two years ago she decided to drop ballet and do something else.

  54. Oh move back from that Camel honey -- it will spit at you!

  55. I watch the show as it plays, if I can get to it at the beginning. If not, I wait and watch the recorded one the next day. We were harvesting Morning Glory seeds in our garden and I didn't get in until too late for TAR.

Nomad, still fun, though, isn't it?!!

  56. I'm here finally are there any snacks left? I made dinner for my 15 year old niece that had major knee surgery on friday. Mom and I usually go out with my sister & her family on Sundays. Since AElaine came home late yesterday we took dinner to them.
I made hamburgers and grilled them there. I made a yummy cheesy potato casserole and green beans. We were gonna have PEEP smores for dessert but I forgot them - so we can do that next week.
Victor is maing no friends in this game.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Oh no == now I want some SMORES Margo!

    ReplyDelete
  58. Christie & Jodi, Zoetawny & SueGee you get to continue racing as this is a nono-elimination round. You will however have to complete a speedbump which only you have to complete in the next leg of the race - Good Luck. Tammy & Victor – Rbennie & Delee & Dusty

  59. Has anyone else noticed that we have lost all the couples? We have 4 family groups and 2 female friend groups. I just thought that was interesting.

Syd - maybe we can make smores at the next TAR party. I'll bring the PEEPS.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Thanks for the pool, Margo. I was out when Amanda and Kris left, and I haven't decided who to root for now. Maybe it will be Victor's sister, just because I like to be for the underdog and, even if she is a lawyer, she is coming off as weak. I like all the teams, in one way or another. That makes it an unusual season for me. It would make me happy to not have a villian in at least one show.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Margo thanks for pointing out there are no couples left just family and friend teams. It had not occurred to me.
Sizzie since Caroline, you and me don't have a team in the race I am also trying to decide who to cheer for. I don't dislike any team but I do like some teams better than others.

This is off topic as far as TAR but still has to do with TV.
On Saturday we took our out of town guests to the St Patty's parade in New Orleans , out for dinner, then to the French Quarter.
When we were on Burbon St. we caught the end of the Italian America parade. The grand Marshall of the parade was Vincent Pastore who played "Big Pussy" on the Sopranos.
He was on one of the Wraught (sp?) Iron balaconies along the parade route.
The minute I saw him, I yelled hey there is Big Pussy. My husband was able to get his attention. He waved and talked to us just for a second. It was the highlight of my day.

  62. I'm still a little unsure as to where to throw my allegiance now that Kris/Amanda are gone. I'm thinking maybe Mel/Mike, but they seem to have lots of fans, so maybe I'll go for the less popular and root for Kisha/Jen. I like the younger sister (Kisha ?) better. I really like Tammy, but Victor tends to annoy me, so that might keep me from picking them.

Why do all of these teams (Margie/Luke & Cara/Jaime) act so surprised when "working together" doesn't last long? They were taking forever and Tammy/Victor had already gotten directions. I would have done the same thing and driven away as fast as I could. The objective of the Race is to win, not make friends. You should always assume an alliance should be taken very, very lightly.
