Survivor Tocantins: "They Both Went Bananas"

jackie's tv blog, survivor

The show has started here on the East Coast. I'll be updating this entry with major events while my review will be posted later on TV Squad. As always, the real fun here is down in the comments section. Everyone is welcome, beverages will be served, snacks abound and ... if you got your order in on time, dinner will be served. Or not.

Stephen won reward, sent Erinn (he considers her an ally) to Exile, took Taj and JT with him -- natural springs, feast. That leaves Coach, Debbie, and Sierra at camp. Coach thinks it's a sign that the Jalapao will stick together.

BWAH! WAH! Coach won Immunity.

Sierra was voted out. Coach laughed. Stephen got one vote, Debbie two, Sierra four. Erinn voted for Stephen ... perhaps because he sent her to Exile?

  1. Here's to a full blown Coach fit coming up@

  2. Whaaaa! Coach just ruined what I've been waiting all week to see. :(

    ReplyDelete
  3. forgot who has Sierra in the pool....

    ReplyDelete
  4. Coach and Debbie are going to do some butt-kissing instead. Kind of disappointing.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Hey, Jackie and Monty. How are you today?

I hope you received my food order in time. I brought a large chocolate cake to share.

I shook my head when the "traitors" told Coach and Debbie that they didn't tell them about their plan because the didn't want them to have to make a decision on changing their vote.

Debbie thanked them, Coach said he wouldn't have given his permission. Excuse me? These are NOT your students wanting a bathroom pass.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Not in the pool for Survivor but I'm still rooting for Taj FTW, or maybe Erinn after last week. That's one silent and sneaky girl.

    ReplyDelete
  7. aaah, the traditional vulture over the carcass shot.

    ReplyDelete
  8. where are the others while coach and pirnciple are talking? Those others are TALKING somewhere about them perhaps. BWAHAHAHA

    ReplyDelete
  9. sick of exile island at this point. What is thr purpose

    ReplyDelete
  10. why would coach go after sierra's rope if he and Debbie want to get their remianing tribe back together after last night's vote?????

    ReplyDelete
  11. Man they hate Sierra... that will make her want to flip to Coach and Debbie. Maybe?

    ReplyDelete
  12. It kills me the way Sierra is working her butt off while Coach lounges in his chair and Deb at his feet.

    ReplyDelete
  13. kinda stupid JY gave it to Erin as she had one hack and killed his icon with it. WHy not give taj just one and stay in the game for food...

    not thinking too well?

    ReplyDelete
  14. I love the comments, keep them coming!

Of to make some bbq chicken & trout. Anyone want anything bbq'd... taking orders :)

    ReplyDelete
  15. fireworks are going to fly to leave Sierra , coach and Debbie together

    ReplyDelete
  16. Okay, what if they hid Brendan's idol in the tree mail original spot and Stephen just discounted that it would be there? If they did and Erinn looks she may just find it.

Now that was not a smart pick by Stephen. It leaves the old Timbira to plot back at camp. Huh???????

    ReplyDelete
  17. Not a trout lover... too many bones, but some bbq chicken sounds good! :)

    ReplyDelete
  18. What the heck! Why are they pioking on Sierra. Not a good way to keep her from flipping again. By sending Erin to Exile, they might just loose her vote too.

    ReplyDelete
  19. sierra might not be well liked, but why get rid of Debbie if they all think she is the weakest survivor?

    ReplyDelete
  20. Ding, ding, ding, nope I lose. I guess they didn't rehide the II.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Hey everyone, it is Colleen in Southern California..I have a little more than 2 1.2 hours to go!! I hate this but I do love your blog and everyones comments. I wish they would vote out coach, then I don't care who wins, everyone else seems decent.

    ReplyDelete
  22. what have I missed? Why does everyone hate Sierra so much?

    ReplyDelete
  23. I wish Coach would stop stroking his freakin beard.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I want Sierra to win immunity just to freak everyone out.
    ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  25. Good evening all, have been lurking while I finished my supper...too late for it but finally got hungry...

Ugh do not like Debby or Coach, make them go AWAY!!!

    ReplyDelete
  26. Sydney, while not popular among us, Tyson said the same things that other cast offs have said. They find Sierra extremely annoying and whiney. I can't remember all the interviews, but so far no one has had much kind to say about Sierra after they were voted off.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Even if Sierra gets voted out, then at least she turned it back on Coach and Debbie. Loved her answer to Coach's, "Yesterday you said your loyalty was with us." Sierra looked at him and said, "But you wrote down my name."

I hope they vote out Coach. Or tell him they are voting out Debbie and does he want to join them. BTW, I have Deb's name, but with her alining with Coach, she can go.

    ReplyDelete
  28. LOL, that would be a gem Jackie. Coach would probably go for sure then.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I've never gotten why they dislike Sierra so much either. They call her a liar a lot. What has she lied about? She's been called a back-stabber. Haven't they all been that at some point?

    ReplyDelete
  30. HOw can Coach trust that JT would get rid of Taj before him, when the three of them just went on reward together?

    He trusts JT

    ReplyDelete
  31. Liar Liar Liar Coach!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  32. !!!Lie Coach Lie!!! That will bite him.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Sydney, if Coach stopped stroking his beard, then -- in his mind at least -- he wouldn't look wise.

Boy, is Coach ever kissing ass and lying through his teeth. Wait until they see the TV and see how he played them.

    Wish Sierra would win immunity.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I can not believe that Coach and Debbie made it to the finals...puke!!!

    ReplyDelete
  35. Coach will NOT go away WHY WHY WHY

    ReplyDelete
  36. He finally WON something! Coach is safe, UGH!

    ReplyDelete
  37. Horse feathers! Hope Deb goes home.

    ReplyDelete
  38. oH, I knew he was going to win it. Auuuuuuuugh. I was so happy not hearing him mention dragon slayer all night. His ego will be out of control!

    ReplyDelete
  39. NOW Coach wins an immunity! Sheesh!

    ReplyDelete
  40. I hope they vote out Debbie. Then Coach will go from Dragon Slayer to Lone Wolf.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Coach is like a bad case of lice. Harder than the dickens to get rid of. I can't believe he pulled this out. He will be in the creek postering.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Hey Jackie. Are you feeling any better (please say yes, please say yes, I hope I hope I hope).

    ReplyDelete
  43. Darn it!! I so wish he didn't get immunity!! I am thinking so many cuss words, but I will keep it clean...
    Darn, darn , darn!!

    ReplyDelete
  44. Now Sierra makes Debbie cry! Can this get any better, lol!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Coach is such a liar! Well, Deb, you are a liar too, professional or not.

Steven, if you have any sense you will vote out Deb.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Debbie's a goner!

Brendan and Tyson look clean and cute tonight! :)

    ReplyDelete
  47. I hope they vote out Debbie -- I don't remember her crying when they had that little talk with Sierra.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Man... bad timing ... Why does coach win immunity now. Well, good time to get Debbie out if they are smart about it.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Tyson reminds me of a more swaggery Owen Wilson. Ladies man

    ReplyDelete
  50. OH he brings Jesus into it! Woahhhhhaho!

    ReplyDelete
  51. Now Coach is a preacher @@

    ReplyDelete
  52. He's making a big ass case... I hope that TJ and what's his name don't believe it.

Taj sits in the center like Buddah. Erin seems invisible.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Coach is such a creep. I can't believe that he can lie with such a straight face.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Syd, she cried when Sierra called her and Coach out in front of the rest of the tribe.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Great reaction from Brendan wa scoach struts by.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Hi Monty -- yes I saw that. but in coaches recount of their EALRIER conversation, he said Sierra started it and made Debbie cry THEN. I didn't remember that but maybe I missed something.

    Who voted Stephen?

    ReplyDelete
  57. SHIT. SHit shit shit. THat was a major mistake.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Poor Sierra... Tyson will make her life a living hell at Ponderosa!

    ReplyDelete
  59. Maybe because she caused so much drama it just edges that fine line against her.

    ReplyDelete
  60. I agree Monty, I guess he's funny but I wouldn't want to be in Ponderosa wiht Tyson if I were myself, lol

    ReplyDelete
  61. Oh okay, lol... I missed that comment from Coach. Erinn and Taj seem to be sitting pretty pretty right now. There are so many big fish to fry right now and they aren't THEM!

    Go TAJ!

    ReplyDelete
  62. Coach and Debbie are such liars. Stephen and J.T. may regret voting out Sierra. Coach will work on Errin now for at least a tie vote next council, won't he?

    ReplyDelete
  63. Why didn't they keep Sierra just to keep the drama off them?

    ReplyDelete
  64. Wow they just gave Harper Island the kiss of death...it has been moved to Sat night!!! Wondered why a re-run of Criminal Minds on at 10p

    ReplyDelete
  65. Family week for Survivor!!!

    Erinn voted for Stephen

    ReplyDelete
  66. Oh goodie, goodie, Deb turns on Coach. I see an all female final in the making. Bwaahahah!

    ReplyDelete
  67. That will come back and bite this group who voted Sierra out in the behind. Are they ever going to feel like fools when they see the show -- and when it is too late.

Tyson will not be a happy camper. I hope Brendan is decent to her.

Whoohoo! Looks like Deb is turning on Coach. Tell them he lied, Deb, tell them he lied.

Hey, Collenee, welcome to the group.

    ReplyDelete
  68. I thought it was funny when Jeff Probst said the paranoia is going to set in. In my opinion Coach has been deranged since day one!
I hope during the finale show that Jeff calls out Coach and Debbie for lying about Sierra.
As long as Coach or Debbie don't win I think I can be ok with any of the rest of them.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Hey Lynn! How's it going?

    ReplyDelete
  70. I missed the party, as usual. I know it was fun. I have a question. Did coach quote the Bible correctly at TC?

    ReplyDelete
  71. Hi Sydney things are hectic as usual but I am hanging in there.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Im looking for the same thing. Jesus said "Forgive them for they know not what they do"

I mean really that is just so dumb... misquote Jesus!!

    ReplyDelete
  73. Depends on which Bible you'rE reading..the New King James Version Luke23:34 states: ..."Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do."... but that's when they crucified him, not when they were stoning him.

I cannot believe Coach could sit there and tell such a whopper and bring Jesus into it all at the same time. I'de be afraid of lightening bolts.

    ReplyDelete
  74. I missed the party but I had to come in and say hello to everyone before the show starts here in California.

A big welcome to Colleen in Southern California. Nice to meet you!

I can't believe Coach won immunity. Can't wait to see how that actually happens. I mean, he has to get off his imaginary throne and actually do something to win, right?

I brought some brownies and ice cream for dessert. The brownies on the right are straight and the brownies on the right are ... well ... crooked!

    And the show begins ...

    ReplyDelete
  75. Thanks for the Bible quote answer. I thought he had the words right but the incident wrong. Coach is just so full of himself, he is like the boyfriend you break up with but he doesn't accept the breakup and keeps hanging around. I'll miss Sierra, but maybe she and Brendan will have fun at Ponderosa.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Ugh ... Dragon Slayer my ass! That's what I just yelled out loud to my tv. Sorry that he doesn't go this week. Can't wait for the others to see what a liar he is. He wields so much power and nobody seems to see him for who he is. I loathe him!

    ReplyDelete
  77. How was the BBQ Dusty? I'm sory I didn't see your comment to take you up on your order.... was too busy watching this one, and blindly was typing. Didn't even read many of the comments.

    ReplyDelete
  78. But Laurie , I'll take some of that icecreama nd brownies -- though the show is just about over where you are.
You pop in when we Easites/Central timers watch, so I thought I'd pop in while the West coasters watch.

    ReplyDelete
  79. The trout was very bony... my son caught it and we ate it... we won't be doing that again. None of liked it :) The chicken was good, good thing I made it because we would have been hungry.

I would love to have seen the look on every one's face (JT, Stephen, Taj....) tonight as they watched this episode. I hope Sierra is feelin good!

I sooooooo want coach to be booted out..... he is so slimy. Debbie can get the boot too!

    ReplyDelete
  80. Does anyone know what that funny looking animal with the long snout was that was swimming in the river on the show tonight? No, no, it wasn't Coach.

    ReplyDelete
  81. I just finished watching the show. Haven't read any comments yet, but wanted to put in my 2 cents worth before I forgot what my 2 cents is.

I'm sure you had a party going on, but I just couldn't make it any sooner. Any margarita's left? Or maybe a straight shot??

That's what I really need after watching Coach. I was clapping with glee when Stephen and TJ started talking about getting rid of him. Then I was wanting that shot when he got immunity.

BOO!! HISS!! He just creeps me out no end!

I know we don't see it, but I just don't see Sierra as being the one who's the center of the drama. Coach is the one who eggs her on, then blames her for not being "loyal". Besides, I've had a soft spot for her since the beginning when she was so sick.

I would have rather see Debbie go tonight. Well, actually I'd RATHER see Coach go, but I couldn't vote. : (

    ReplyDelete
  82. Well, my little Sierra went packing so I'm out of the pool. I thought maybe, just maybe she might hang in there. I just hope Stephen and TJ know what they are doing.

If Coach decides to get Erin and Taj in with him and Debbie, those two are toast. Not that Taj or Erin like Coach and would do what he suggests, but let's face it, outwit, outplay, outlast... that's a way to do it.

And Debbie throwing Coach under the bus next week. I hope that holds up, but then there would be three girls and only 2 guys left, and J.T. should be able to figure that one out.

Get rid of Debbie first, then Coach, then may the best man/woman win. I can barely believe that Erin is still in this thing. She just keeps sliding by.

    ReplyDelete
  83. I just watched the Ponderosa where Sierra arrives. Tyson was very nice to her, surprise, surprise. He even brought her a pet.

He explained to Sierra that even if you like someone in the game, you can't act like it.

I bet Sierra packed away her weight in food those first two days!

Loved when they got ready to go to council. They are all wearing feathers, a la Coach. Then Brenden flicks his hair over his shoulder - f-u-n-n-y!

I wonder if Coach and Deb will acknowledge that they lied after they are booted? If he doesn't, Jeff will call him on it at the final show.

    ReplyDelete
  84. So, Sierra finally got what the tribe thought she had coming. Personally, I don't think she was as bad as her tribe mates thought she was.

So long Meb & Rozee...I'll see ya when you get to the Ponderosa. There's some awesome food & a shower waiting for you guys!

  85. Jennasmom - the long-nosed beastie is a tapir. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tapir

    ReplyDelete
  86. So we have to put up with Coach for at least another week -- bummer. For such an "intelligent and worldly-wise man" (gag me), he is sure being led around by the nose by JT. How he and Debbie can still trust JT and Stephen after they voted Tyson off is a complete mystery to me. I guess they have no choice but to trust them though, since they don't have the numbers to go against them. I do hope that JT and Stephen stick with Taj and don't wind up blindsiding her. It bothers me how Stephen keeps referring to her II as his. Has anyone else noticed that? They really should have voted off Debbie last night, but I think since Coach won immunity and they couldn't get rid of him, they decided to placate him by voting out Sierra, thus making him think - in his deluded brain - that their alliance was still strong.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Hi Jackie.

I haven't given you a shout out in a while. I hope all is well and you are feeling better these days.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Aarrrgghh! The absolute worst case scenario when "C" won immunity for the week. Good grief!

I personally think it was a mistake to get rid of Sierra, and they should feel a bit foolish when they see that she was honest with them and "C" repeatedly lied through his teeth while quoting the Bible, but she seemed fine at Ponderosa, so all is good.

I was also happy to see Tyson acting cordial with Sierra when she arrived at Ponderosa. I like this season's Ponderosa better than last, as I hated the "cliques" and nastiness last season. And I also don't miss the ridiculous ritual of choosing outfits for TC that they went through last season. @@

However, the feathers were hysterical!! Great move!

  89. Thanks, ~~Silk! I thought it might be a tapir, but I am up at our rural lake cabin & it is too hard to google anything here with this prehistoric dial up service. Takes me 30 minutes to get this page to load -- but I have my priorities! LOL
