Big Brother 11 Live Eviction Show Blog Party 8/06

Jackie's TV Blog,Jackie's TV Blog,Big Brother 11,Big Brother 11

The show has started here on the East Coast. As it airs, this post will be updated with the major events. Later on tonight, my full review of the episode will be up on TV Squad. But ... (and here's where you come in) ... the real fun is in the comments! Everyone's welcome to participate, snack, and imbibe. Just clean up your own messes! Please remember the houseguests are fair game for criticism, but your fellow commenters aren't. Merci!

A huge thank you goes to Zoetawny for the Ronnie is a Rat graphic!

Jeff won the coup d'etat. :-) He wisely chose to leave tonight's nominations stand.

The voting to evict:
Kevin --> Ronnie
Natalie --> Lydia
Chima --> Lydia
Jessie --> Lydia
Michele --> Ronnie
Jeff --> Ronnie
Jordan --> Ronnie

By a vote of 4-3, Ronnie is evicted.

CHIMA won HOH based on the calls from last night memory.

  1. Yaaay Zoetawny!!

I have margaritas ready for those who wish to imbibe tonight. It might make it easier. We could take a sip each time someone says "bus"!

    buh-bye, Ronnie the Rat!

  2. Everyone have their dork t-shirts and baseball caps on?

Here's a good chop from blistering in the waiting of Ronnie's departure:

  4. Hummmm, I'll have one, please. I game. Bus, bus, bus. Hey, just wanted to get us started.

    ReplyDelete
  5. I just hope that Ronnie goes. If he doesn't I may not be watching the rest of the season.

    ReplyDelete
  6. PlaidChick, all those chops were good. I hope I don't get busted here at work for opening that page! Love those guys and gals who do those.

Guess who won't get any real work done in the next hour?

    ReplyDelete
  7. Becky, I like how you play the game!

    ReplyDelete
  8. I love Russell putting those playing "he said/she said" in the same room and asking them!

    ReplyDelete
  9. I love Jordan's reaction. Her eyes were spinning!

    ReplyDelete
  10. I can't watch, I have to leave. Maybe it will be better for my nervous system to not be put through the agony of what goes on being interrupted by commercials. You can bet I will check in as soon as I am back home to see what I have missed.

    have fun, ya'll

    ReplyDelete
  11. Zoetawny that is one of your best! Jackie thanks. I'm staying at work on the West Coast until this episode is over, reading your blog. Go Jeff and please get the CDT.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Zoetwany, the graphic rocks! Bus, bus, bus!

    ReplyDelete
  13. Michelle is an idiot. She totally deserves whatever she gets. What was she doing denying to Russell what she said TO RUSSELL? How was that going to fly?

    ReplyDelete
  14. Blistering's countdown is hilarious. Thanks, PC. I haven't checked SS today. Good one!

  17. Anon: Jeff and Jordan kiss..

Ronnie is trying to get a sympathy vote from Jordan

    ReplyDelete
  18. Here comes their first kisses. Ronnie completely interupted them with game talk. It is hilarious to watch.

    ReplyDelete
  19. They're showing last night, J&J kissing while Ronnie is talking, they're ignoring him

    ReplyDelete
  20. I am not by my TV yet but if Ronnie or Jesse don't go home I will be very depressed and come and drink your entire pitchers of margaritas!! I don't want to watch either one of those dorks anymore. What is wrong with getting houseguests that are just good gamers anad not weirdo's. Dr. Will....Janelle...Keysar..I love watching normal people try and figure out the game...not Jesse...not Ronnie...and next on my list is Natalie!!!!!!! Good grief....she doesn't even shower. That is GROSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  21. Last night wasn't their first kiss, BB... dumb editing

    ReplyDelete
  22. Cock block said or not said in DR! Go Jeff!

    ReplyDelete
  23. Geee our little tool seems to be in a really good mood tonight...

    ReplyDelete
  24. It happened around 5:20 a.m. on Wednesday. No, it wasn't their first kiss, but it was the first sort of extended kissing. It was on Cam 2 at 5:00 am, Aug 5.

It was even funnier watching them try to ignore Ronnie, and just insert a uh huh every now and then from Jordan. Still makes me smile just thinking about it.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Scumbbag Rat. That's the pot calling the kettle black!

    ReplyDelete
  36. I think Lydia looks pretty cute in that outfit.

Ronnie's exit (?) speech is as poor sportsmanship as Casey's. Why can't people just leave quietly? You got beat, you got beat. Take it like a man.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I am so sick of this avitar! I hope all of us can remove the rats, nerds and such shortly!

    ReplyDelete
  38. I've resisted all night...

    ReplyDelete
  56. Geesh, he even lies when he's out of the house. Why lie to JC, Ronnie?

He's a bigger tool then Jessie!

    ReplyDelete
  57. Yes!!! The RAT is outta there! What was the reaction outside?

    ReplyDelete
  58. Big hug, Petals, how was your day? Need a back rub?

    ReplyDelete
  59. Jessie's so DUMB! He never realized how bad Ronnie was using him!

We need to get you a name...

    ReplyDelete
  61. I think Ronnie believes everything that comes out of his own mouth. If he says it, it must be true. So glad to know he is GONE ... and not at the sequester house waiting for the other hamsters. Cheers!

Really? Why is Ronnie still swearing loyalty to Jessie? What did he ever do to suggest he wasn't loyal to Jessie?

    ReplyDelete
  63. Ratboy has left the building!

    ReplyDelete
  64. jeff needs to throw the hoh

    ReplyDelete
  65. I haven't been this happy with the show since the beginning. YAY!
    Now, Jeff/Jordan - WIN!!

    ReplyDelete
  66. I predict now BB10 Jessie will rise....

    ReplyDelete
  67. She does, TBC.

Delee, love the avitar. I just traded my cold one for a tast of the bubbly.

    ReplyDelete
  68. I changed the rules. Now we can drink for every time the word LOYALTY was/is posted today. Lots of drinking tonight fans!

    ReplyDelete
  69. This is how I feel right now! My boy won CDT and best of all, Ronnie is gone! Now if Jordan would just win HOH!

    Loved Kevin's farewell message.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Does anybody know: if Jeff exercises the CDT can he put up anybody, including the HOH?

  72. Hmmm, none of the Natalie bath calls made it on the live show. Oh well, we heard them. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  73. I missed the first twenty minutes but got here in enough time to see Jeff win the CDE and to see Ronnie RatFace get the old heave-ho. One less vote for Jesse to count on.

    What a great day!

    Zoetawny, FANTASTIC graphic!

    ReplyDelete
  74. YEA YEA YEA Jessie is out

    ReplyDelete
  75. Jesse isn't happy! Come on Kevin.

    ReplyDelete
  76. oh, THIS is interesting...

    ReplyDelete
  77. Thank God Jeff has that CDE. Bet he does use it.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Ya natalie is such a good sport, talking crap as Jeff walked away

    ReplyDelete
  79. Joe - no need for a backrub tonight. Wanna cuddle on my cowprint beanbag?

    ReplyDelete
  80. Just wait until Jeff changes her noms. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  81. Bring on the CDT next week, LOL.

It will be an entire week of the TH with the Big Head, and then >POW< - the wizard speaks!

    ReplyDelete
  82. At least this HOH week don't be a total bore...since Chima is so manic & bi-polar, anything can happen.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Chima as HOH is gonna be all kinds of drama. At least Jeff has Coup d'Etat power and Ronnie the Rat is gone though.

HOH and POV winner are exempt.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Chima is HOH? Now that surprises me. Not sure why, but it does. What did they do? Who seems happy about this turn of events?

    ReplyDelete
  86. With Jeff having CDT he can sure make a difference for the vote out. It boogles the mind!!!

    ReplyDelete
  87. Any early predictions as to who she nominates? I suspect Lydia is a choice...

I remain on record: won't happen.

Chima won't target Jeff and Jordan, no need for Jeff to take the risk.

    ReplyDelete
  94. The HOH comp was ?'s about the phone calls this week Laurie

    ReplyDelete
  95. Thank goodness I taped this show.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Chima won? Oh thankfully Jeff has the CDT

    ReplyDelete
  97. John Hughes died of a heart attack today. Sorry if this is old news..I just got word. Wow. The voice of MY generation. Hm. Needing a shoulder from my Joe.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Okay, everyone, USE THE BUCKET! Don't leave a mess for Margo to clean up.

How perfect is it that Jeff can use the CDE next week?

    ReplyDelete
  102. Joe, you are SOO singing my tune, Luv. Come cuddle with me and let's whisper about how cool Jessie is... LOL

We will have to agreee to disagree about Nastalie. What SO you see in her? She is the polar opposite of me.

I've never actually heard Hughes called that before.

  104. Next week is sure gonna be exciting!

    ReplyDelete
  105. I think Chima will nominate Michelle and Kevin.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  107. Hi everyone - Chima won HOH ewww
At least Jeff can change the nominees. You know that Nat and Jessie will not be nominated so hopefully Jeff put them up.

Definitely Lydia, and probably Michelle or one of the boyzzz, afterall she wants an all girl final, LOL! Per Russell.

I think Lydia and Jeff or Jordan. That okay with me. Bring on BB week 6. CDT will be the deciding factor this week, me thinks. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  110. Nana in the NW8/06/2009 9:00 PM

Chima won.....my guess is Michelle and Lydia or Jeff go up.....Jeff better think this through and use the CDT to put up Nat. and Jessie. That would guarantee one of them is gone!! If Kev/Lydia/Jordan/Jeff stay in an alliance with Nat.or Jessie gone they would than have the power.

    ReplyDelete
  111. You guys?!?! Where is Sydney? No words about John Hughes? Was I the last to know & this is old news?

    ReplyDelete
  112. I would bet that Chima nominates Lydia and Michelle while looking to backdoor Russell.

What would be interesting is what happens if the backdoor works. Would Jeff take the risk of saving Russell? Now that would have serious ramifications...

    ReplyDelete
  113. I agree with that Nana...

Sorry, dear, the news spread on a previous topic on the blog. But we are sad nonetheless. With Michael Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, and now John Hughes, it has been a tough summer for our generation!

    ReplyDelete
  115. Hey, west coasters, I brought in more supplies for us for two hours from now when we see the show. Don't you love that we "see" it twice in one night?

I'll be over there on one of the lounges, so if I fall asleep please wake me for the show!

My bet is Jeff will use the CDT just to keep the odds better

    ReplyDelete
  116. Petals, I think someone mentioned it on the last post. Sorry, don't remember who.

    ReplyDelete
  117. I actually think that Nat/Jessie and Chima may have effectively neutralized the CDT by making Michelle the candidate the House can rally against.

Lydia v. Chima and Lydia v. Natalie are the battles to watch this week, I think. Lydia knows who the 4-3 were and she is going to be PO'ed.

    ReplyDelete
  118. I was so sorry to hear about John Hughes. We still quote lines from his movies today (especially 16 Candles -- "Dong...where is my automobile????").

Think Chima will target Michele; Nessie will do doubt be pulling her strings. It will be interesting to see if she says, "I am the HOH, aren't I?" Even MORE interesting will be if Jeff uses CDT!

    Witt :)

    ReplyDelete
  119. Joe, you have a good point there. Lydia will mess/muck up any sort of game play during this next week, but for some reason... I think Michelle will get her key tomorrow. If I'm wrong, I'll buy the next round of drinks. Tonight's on Laurie.

And I checked, it was Laurie who reported the sad news on the last post. It is sad and RIP JH!

  120. mrs.whiggins8/06/2009 9:13 PM

Chima will nominate Lydia and Russel...she told Ronnie she would get him out.
I do believe Jeff will use his magic to replace both Lydia and Russel with....Jess n Nasty!
Shout out to Joe, how's your Wilie doing?
    Peace out

    ReplyDelete
  121. Sorry guys. I didn't get a chance to catch up on posts from earlier. My bad. I am just so run ragged from my "real life", and now have to jet again. dangit!

Joe - if you wanna talk in real life, leave me your ph in my email, or I can email you mine... K?
    Gotta run..xoxoxo

  123. tbc -- at my wedding my sister helped me take off my veil -- I whispered to her, "I can't see with this thing on!" and she just about cracked up right there on the altar. I wasn't zoned out on muscle relaxers, though!

Chima won't nominate Russell. Nat/Jessie will control who Chima puts up and as long as they think Russ is part of their alliance they aren't going to risk losing him. Ohhhhh, if they only knew....hehehe. Julie never told them that the CDT would be in effect for 2 weeks. Other than Jeff the HG think the wizard part of the game is done.

Fair enough! We'll see how low Michelle can lay this week. But, keep in mind, Chima wanted revenge for Ronnie and Ronnie chose to throw Michelle in the wood-chipper so...

Either way, it'll be an interesting week and worth watching.

Just to be clear, Nana, next week is the 2nd week (tonight was the 1st). It's use it or lose it next week.

  127. Oops, CDT apparently and not CDE.

Ding, Dong, the RAT is gone!

If Chima can't nominate Russell or Michele, that will leave Jeff, Jordan, Kevin and Lydia. No matter which two she noms, why wouldn't Jeff use the CDT to take them off and put Jesse and Natalie up? One of them would have to leave no matter which way the vote went. There'd be 6 votes. Even in a tie, Chima would have to vote one of them off. How Karma-esce would that be?

    Or am I missing something?

    ReplyDelete
  128. Petals (long, warm, sympathetic hug), I have work to do, but I'm here if you need me.

Congratulations on Ronnie (never liked him anyway), good luck with Jessie. Hopefully, it'll be Jessie, Natalie and Lydia in the final 3 - how much fun would THAT be? LOL

No, you're right, could happen. I just don't see the motivation to do it. You've still got Lydia, Kevin and Michelle in the middle with Russell straddling. Despite the general hatred for Jessie and Natalie on this board (and others), I don't see how Jeff benefits from putting himself in the middle. As things stand now, he's got a clear ride with Jordan to the final 6 (Jessie, Natalie, Chima, Russell and J/J). Michelle is the next obvious target, they've already targeted Lydia numerous times. If Jeff steps up and uses the power, he becomes the "next obvious target". Russell already said to Julie that he doesn't want to choose between Jesse and Jeff...

It will be fun to see what happens (and speculate all week long!)

    ReplyDelete
  130. Witt - Good thing you didn't start to take off part of your wedding dress after the wedding was over, too! LOL.

We also quote Ferris Bueller all the time, too. Oh, and the Breakfast Club.

    ReplyDelete
  131. Okay, so Russell and Michele CAN be nom'd next week.

    ReplyDelete
  132. for those watching the live feeds. what the deal with chima and her continuing to call russell a terrorist? according to jokers she said she's going to keep calling him that because he's middle eastern and americans hated people from the middle east. did she really say that?

i haven't watched tonight's show yet, but thanks to jackie's blog i know rattie is gone. that jeff won the power and omg chima is hoh. at least we know it doesn't matter who chima puts up because jeff can change the two on the block. when he does he needs to put up jessie and nat.

something else nobody here has mentioned. lydia has been making comments she wants to cut/ hurt herself on the show. bb told her if she attempted anything she will have to leave the show.

imho i think she is a walking time bomb. bb needs to get her out of the house and to a psychologist. she is screaming out for help.

one last thing. how come chima got away with dumping water on (i think) russell?

    she needs to go, -jeannemarie

    ReplyDelete
  133. So they vote Natalie out and still put one more chink in Jesse's armor with one less vote for him to count on. The house would probably be happy to see the stinky-haired instigater go.

    ReplyDelete
  134. Zoetawny's graphic is disturbing because if you take off the ears, it really looks like Ronnie's body. Thank goodness, he can't annoy us anymore.

    ReplyDelete
  135. And after the final six, Jeff would have nowhere to go. If he can start breaking down that alliance now AND get Jesse out of there now, at least if he left soon after or later, he'd have the satisfaction of seeing to it that Jesse doesn't win. Plus, if he won HOH the following week, he could continue the plan.

    ReplyDelete
  136. thank God! Jeff got the coup d'etat!!! And thank God he wisely saved it since Chima Biglips won HOH. You know Russell will be one of her nominees and maybe Jeff or Michelle. Jeff could overthrow her and put her and Jesse or Natalie up! Yeah!! Loved Kevin's comment on her needing a makeover!! Please! And Ronnie's nasty remarks to Michelle were uncalled for! What an ass!!!

    ReplyDelete
  137. Gosh....Jesse and Natalie gone from the house would be a gift from heaven. Ronnie gone is just fabulous!!!!!!!!! Those 3 are all horrid!
Go Jeff....Go Jordon!! Thank goodness America knows how to vote for the good ones!!! :o)

    ReplyDelete
  138. Guess Ronnie's bots went kaput!

    ReplyDelete
  139. Jeff said he would do his best to turn the house upside down (or something to that effect). If he does not use it, I will be shocked!

  140. Hope the REAL world (not his adoring wife and friends) let Ronnie know how low-class his exit speech was when he gets back home.

I'll bet the applause is mandatory when the evictee comes out the door to be greeted by Julie. And I'll bet Ronnie believed it to mean they agreed with him that he was soooo inteligent and wizard-ly. Wait til he reads the blogs.

  141. I will be shocked to if Jeff does not use it. I like the idea of him removing the two nominees and putting up Jessie and Nastylia.

Joe and TerryinCA, I thought I would put up my Beagle girls pictures. Maggie is on the left and Pebbles is on the right. Maggie will be 9 in Sept and Pebs is 10.

  142. joyn, I hope Ronnie does read some of these blogs, especially this one!

Becky, love the picture of your beagle babies. I think Beagles are one of the best dogs ever, along with Labradors.

  143. So happy for Jeff winning Coup d'etat !!!!!!!!!!!!! I agree that he should put up the pitbull tomboy and "mr I think I am hot because I have muscles"! It is the smartest thing to break up that alliance. Chances are that Jeff, Jordan or Michelle could win HOH next week to then get rid of Nastalie or Jessie. They can get Lydia and Kevin since they play to what ever side is in power and Russell too for that matter. It's going to be hilarious to watch if Jeff does change the noms thus making Chima's power in the house insignificant!

    On a side note

RUSSELL IS SO FREAKING HOT! I WOULD THROW THAT BOY DOWN IN A NYC SECOND!!!

  144. jeannemarie, we did talk quite a bit about the cutting issue on a previous post. I think it was this morning but I'm not sure. Some of us think it's a cry for attention and some of us think she really does have a cutting problem. We all agree she has issues!

    ReplyDelete
  145. Well my only solace is that at least Chima is going to put Russelle's ass up and he will hopefully sweat it out until Jeff pulls his ass down 5 sec. before eviction in order to oust Jessie.

Poor Jessie and Natalie. : ( Jeff is the nice hot guy but he has made 0 game moves. His first will be the Coup. (his pronunciation of the coup d'etat shows he has almost no education). Jessie and Natalie have at least been playing the game and have made 5 or 6 game moves a piece.

I still think too many BB fans can't seem to get over Jessie's arrogance. I'm sure Jeff and e.o. else on that show is also arrogant. You need to be arrogant to want to be on TV. And Jessie seems to me to be a nice enough person who is playing hard to win. (Jeff is perfectly content with winning Jordan.)

    Joe--I knew it was the 2nd week...cause I didn't make that clear...;-}
Another advantage to Jeff getting rid of Nat. or Jessie is that then the one left would be the only one of that alliance to play for HOH next week(Chima can't). I believe Jeff knows that Nat./Jessie run that group and one of them needs to go. It would be a wasted CDT if he doesn't use it. I don't believe that it would put a target on his back with the other if he did use it. Most of the house wants Nat./Jessie gone. Russell is going to vote with whichever group he feels he's safest in and will take him further in the game.
Almost time for the show here on the WC......hello Laurie, Terry, Elaine, Leigh, Zoe, and you other west coasters!!

  147. Ouch! Jessie is nice? Since when?

    ReplyDelete
  148. I knew exactly what you meant, Meb. It wasn't unclear at all when you read the whole paragraph.

    ReplyDelete
  149. Sorry, Nana, I meant you, not Meb. Guess I wasn't clear. LOL!

  150. One of Jessie or Natalie must win POV. It's their only chance at safety this week. I think that's incredibly unfair. This coup is mega interference in the game.

I hope if Jeff does use it, assuming he wasn't the nominee and would have been safe anyways, that he's kicked out right afterwards.

I think Jeff would use it. It's the best way to break up the twosome Jessie and Natalie. I may not like it, but it's a good game move to use it. I hope seeing as he deposes the HOH, that means he can't play for the next HOH of course.

Nastalie Sucks and Jessie does too said:

Russell already said to Julie that he doesn't want to choose between Jesse and Jeff...

    ***********************************

And when Jeff gives Jessie the boot in the ass he so richly deserves, Russell won't have to choose now will he?

  152. Love the beagles! Always nice to see people's dogs. Don't trust anyone who doesn't like dogs!

We'll see how the week goes, but I would be SHOCKED if Jeff used CD on anyone but himself or Jordan. LOL. If he doesn't put up Natalie and Jessie, do I get credit for the call?

    Night all!

    ReplyDelete
  153. He'd be insane not to use it at this point in the game. He'd only be doing what everyone except J&N and Chima secretly want him to do but haven't had the cujones.

I love dogs! They are sooooo loyal!

  155. And the show is now on here on the west coast.

Boy, when you all commented on Lydia's eye makeup I had no idea it was practically a mask! Strange, strange, strange, but then her makeup has been getting more and more strange as the days have gone on. I guess she needs her creative outlet!

  156. Bringing Jesse back and handing him the HOH was incredibly unfair and mega interference. This kind of evens things out, don't ya think?

  157. High five to Donna in AL's comment!

  158. joyn, you took the words right out of my mouth!

    Donna, great one!

    Cheers!

  159. Why doesn't anyone think Chima will nominate Russ? She made it clear that she would go after him. I think it will be Michele and Russ.

  160. Did anyone else laugh at the No Diving sign over the bed where Jeff and Jordan were making out?

I know, I have the mind of a 14-year old boy.

    ReplyDelete
  161. Laurie,

My 14 year old inner me saw that No Diving sign and thought the same thing. The 62 year old outer me just said to cut it out.

  162. I can't believe they only showed Jeff's legs on the way to the diary room. yum, yum he's such a cutie.

  163. Night all. Ronnie's gone. Jeff won the CDT. I can sleep like a baby.

    ReplyDelete
  164. ewwwwww On the way out the door Ronnie had 5 handshakes with audience members and transferred lint and boogers to all of them including Julie.

    ReplyDelete
  165. LOL, thanks for 'fessing up, joyn.
I knew we liked each other for a good reason!

Ugh, just watched Ronnie chat with Julie. Can I just say how glad I am that I don't have to see or hear anything more from him on this show? Well, I did get another sip when he said loyalty, so there's that.

I think it will be a good week and players figure out the new balance in the house and do the scheming and dreaming we've become accustomed to!

    ReplyDelete
  166. I sure hope Jeff uses the CDT to put up Jesse and Nat. I really hope Nat would be the one to go though. I can deal with Jesse, but Nat is really irritating! I wish it could be Chima and Nat to go up together and they both had to go out the door. I really think he better use it to get out who ever he wants out at this point, cause when else would you get a chance to have two people up with no time to save themselves with POV or time for people to go behind the scenes and work their 'magic'. I bet everyone will work their tail off to get that POV this time.

    ReplyDelete
  167. If I were Jeff I would use it too. The main reason would be to make the numbers on my side, j,j,k,l and it wouldn't matter which one of them went. I don't believe that he would put up Russ either because Russ was a man of his word and didn't put up Jeff. I also don't believe he would put up Michelle because of all the crap Ronnie put her through. Now would he use that power to take anyone other than J and himself off? That's the question and since he can't talk about it I guess we'll have to wait.

    ReplyDelete
  168. Does anyone think Lydia will finally wise up and realize how Jessie really feels about her? After all, he did vote to evict her over Ronnie.

Maybe Kev will be able to talk some sense into her but I doubt it.

    ReplyDelete
  169. So excited he's gone. Out TIvo recorded the show without sound and totally glitched and digitizing every 10 seconds and we still watched it, fast forwarding where necessary. We saw the votes clearly enough to read lips and I was SO EXCITED that they stuck to it and voted Ronnie out. That shows how sick we are, to still watch a show that recorded as if via Waring Blender!

Now Lydia can feel a little over the top for her behavior.

I was glad Chima won for her -- not that her team is back in there again. I want to say they are out numbered, but Russell seems to be swinging as much as Michelle. It was a good week though. I think After the letter from home, snacks, pics and a decent bed first night, Chima will find out just how difficult it is to be HOH.

  170. Strictly speaking "Coup d'Etat" should be CDE, or more accurately "Cd'E" but those of us with a high school knowledge of French (which is about what you get in Saskatchewan) can excuse those of you who lack such advantages. Jeff surprised me by not knowing how the word - which literally means "stroke of the State" - is pronounced, or having any concept of what it means.

Lydia's face painting bears a strong resemblance to some Native American ceremonial face painting - specifically "war paint." In fact, if you do a Google Image search for "war paint" you will see a very similar design on the first page described as "Indian youth in War Paint." For some tribes, like the Comanche, black was a colour reserved exclusively for war.
