Big Brother 11 Show Blog Party Post 8/25

Big Brother 11 Blog Logo

The show has started here on the East Coast. This post will be updated as it airs, but the real fun is in the comments section. Everyone is welcome, bring your own snacks and beverages! Later tonight my show review will be posted on TV Squad.

Finally the PoV -- a fun one with Casey as the voice of Otev the ape. Jordan out first. Natalie out. Russell out. Kevin out. Jeff beats Michele and wins the power of veto!

The back door has opened. Jeff took Kevin off, put Russell up. Target Russell.

Tomorrow is Yau-Man's birthday if anyone wants to go wish him a happy one on his Facebook page

  19. I am mystified at the talk of not trusting Russell from Jordan and Jeff. Completely baseless; in fact; Russell has proven his word is good even to his own detriment.

  21. smart Michele! She's studying the memory wall. That will come in handy probably next week. Now the counting thing, ugh!

    ReplyDelete
  22. SueGee, bbq chicken sounds yummy. I'll take a piece.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I love how Jeff feels he is carrying Jordan.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I posted the feed link, I just loaded it, it's working

    ReplyDelete
  25. J/J had better take 2 steps back and observe for a bit. Can't they see the celebrating on the spy cam?

    ReplyDelete
  26. It IS HoH paranoia. Pure and simple!

    ReplyDelete
  27. margo, they have blinders on or something.. HOH Paranoia indeed.

They should NOT be listening to the other side, go with the gut instincts and they're not doing that

    ReplyDelete
  28. The chicken sounds great. We must have had similar thoughts... I grilled ribs tonight and a few left over. Everyone's welcome to them. :)

    ReplyDelete
  29. Jackie, we need a chat room :)

    ReplyDelete
  30. Watching Jeff & Jordon's little spat doesn't look like it sounded on Joker's. Didn't they end up just laughing at each other?

    ReplyDelete
  31. I finally got her. Tessa, I will take one of those quesadillas and a cold beer. I brought pecan pralines for dessert.

Good suggestion about J/J should looked at the spy camera.

Kevin can be funny. His comment, just how butch can I ask.

    ReplyDelete
  32. That's nice for Kevin. The talk was very graphic on the feeds, but the BB producers managed to put a good edit together for him. A+

    ReplyDelete
  33. Holy crap, Jeff is having his Mr Monthly

    ReplyDelete
  34. Ohhh, Jordon doesn't like "this" Jeff. She likes the "other" Jeff.

    Me too!!

    ReplyDelete
  35. Why is Jeff attacking Jordan. I think he is worried about going up against her in the end.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Jeff is being more than snappy at Jordan. He is being abusive! Run, Jordan, run! Red flag, red flag!

    ReplyDelete
  37. This is a side of Jeff that isn't so cute.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Oh I got some fresh corn on the cob to go with the chicken too. All I need/want is some potato salad like Mom used to make

    ReplyDelete
  39. Crap... I just missed Kevin's DR. Did he say stab Jeff in the back? I'm thinking so but missed it.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Woot! Thanks Plaid for the alternate web site for east coast show. Watching now!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  41. Jeff is on a HUGE power trip! What's up with that?!?!

    ReplyDelete
  42. OMG! Jeff and Russell are both so parenoid. Natalie again saying she will win the POV. Does she really think anyone believes her anymore?

    ReplyDelete
  43. Kevin DID say stab in the back (Jeff).

    ReplyDelete

LOL! I thought the exact same thing!

    ReplyDelete
  45. I keep forgetting to give a shout out of welcome to all the new posters.

Sue Gee, does your mom make mustard or mayo potato salad? Hot or cold?

Being from the South we eat mustard p.s. served cold.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Regarding Jeff: don't forget the way the show "edits" everything.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Well, if there was any doubt of Nastily's and Kevin's intentions, he sure cleared them up.

That knife in Jeff's back is not going to be very comfortable for him.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Cool setting for the Veto Comp!

    ReplyDelete
  49. Whoa... Jordan! He was reaching in for a kiss, you idiot!

    ReplyDelete
  50. I'm not a fan of rap, but it's fun to listen to Casey! He's my guy from the pool. I miss him!

    ReplyDelete
  51. she wanted to win to "secure her victory"?! WHAT?!

    ReplyDelete
  52. Jeff's good at getting up that slippery slope!

    ReplyDelete
  53. gee, don't you miss Jessie now with the New Jeff :) LOL

    ReplyDelete
  54. Kevin = fruit (in his words!!) Too funny!!

    ReplyDelete
  55. So much for Natalie winning! Do you really think BB edited to show Jeff in a really bad light. Do you think they are trying to set up their (and our) golden boy so we won't be so disappointed when he goes next week?

    Kevin's fruit comment was funny.

    ReplyDelete
  56. That comp looked kinda fun.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Monty, I don't blame Jordan for turning away. He talks down to her in private and is all lovey-dovie in public. I may not be so sad to see him go -- after Russell. I don't like bullies.

    ReplyDelete
  58. During the argument with Jeff and Jordan, they both kept cracking up every two minutes. That was HEAVILY edited.

    ReplyDelete
  59. "Do you really think BB edited to show Jeff in a really bad light. Do you think they are trying to set up their (and our) golden boy so we won't be so disappointed when he goes next week?"

No way. He's the same way on the feeds recently.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Kevin is closer to winning comps than Russell. You'd think Jeff would think about that when he makes some of his choices!

Silly Jeff! How's he going to feel with a knife in his back, and choices biting him in the butt?

    ReplyDelete
  61. Jordan is always talking Jeff down, Becky. Its been that way from the beginning. They are showing Jeff in a different light tonight, but I would bet money that Jordan is still loyal to Jeff til the end. Smart? I'm not sure.

    ReplyDelete
  62. yup, never liked/rooted for Ken and Barbie, I knew they were stupid (players that is) and would mess something up. As predicted, a "bad guy" will win BB once again (evel dick, mike boogie, maggie, dr. will, and now Natalie) after she backstabs Ken, i mean Jeff.

    ReplyDelete
  63. I cant wait to watch tonight....Im sad Jeff is turning from Golden Boy to Bully Boy...smacks of Boogie to me.....

    ReplyDelete
  64. Are they going to show the jury house this year or is it X rated with Lydian there with Jessy?

    ReplyDelete
  65. Anon 9:46, regardless of what happens, I will bet that Natalie will NOT win BB11. IMHO

    ReplyDelete
  66. They'll show jury house on Thursday. Julie always intros the jury house segments.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Becky - It's the Thursday show when they show the jury -- at least in the past seasons it was. We'll see this Thursday.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Monty,I dunno, I think if she makes it the F2, she wins it, but she's going to have to start winning comps

    ReplyDelete
  69. Terry in CA, what's your avatar? I can tell it's a quilt, but can't tell what the pattern is.

    Inquiring minds want to know!!

    ReplyDelete
  70. OT When does Project Runway come on and what day and station?

    Thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  71. I wonder if they're editing Jeff this way so everyone will root for 'America's sweetheart' Jordan. Don't get me wrong, I love Jordan, but they're really obvious about putting Jeff in a bad light.

    ReplyDelete
  72. A bad guy may win but it doesn't necessarily mean that it will be Natalie. Once Russ is gone and then, unfortunately, probably Jeff after that, Kevin and Michele may decide to off Nat, knowing she will get votes. I have a feeling those will be the final two. Kevin and Michele.

Honestly, it's a crapshoot at this point. If Russell goes home Thursday, you gotta like Jeff's chances of running the table. But let's say Jeff wins his way into the final 2 and gets to take any of the other 4 with him, who would it be?

Jordan - no way, everyone likes her
Kevin - not likely, everyone likes him

Michelle or Natalie would be his best chance to win (whoever's still available). I think Michelle is his best bet, no one really liked her and she mostly coasted.

    ReplyDelete
  74. PC, that's why I don't think she will win. I can see her being the target of Michele and/or Jeff if he's smart. Even Kevin knows she has to have the jury house votes. It comes down to who they want to take to the end. I wouldn't take Natalie.

    ReplyDelete
  75. I hate when these people get offended by something they're fixing to do. Russell thinks the best move is to backdoor Russell, and knows that if he stays, he needs to betray Jeff and get him out next week, but he doesn't want to be backdoored and thinks Jeff is dumb because Nat/Kevin will backdoor him if he gets rid of Russell. EITHER WAY, JEFF IS TOAST!

    ReplyDelete
  76. Runway started last Thursday on Lifetime. It continues thursdays. Because its such a big deal, they show it over and over and over again so it doesn't matter when it starts you can still catch the numerous reruns

    ReplyDelete
  77. I feel so bad for Russell. Jeff is disappointing on so many levels. I'm sad.
    Girlsmom, ia

    ReplyDelete
  78. what's ironic about this is that even though Kevin and Nat lied they were kinda telling the truth. Russ was going to backstab Jeff, but never really told anyone about it.

    ReplyDelete
  79. It's funny how Jeff (in Russell's eyes) went from being stupid because he didn't nominate him to stupid because he put him in a chair. Say what?

Okay, boys and girls, I am off for the night. Catch you later.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Thanks again, Plaid

    ReplyDelete
  81. So...Jeff nominated Russell 'cause he doesn't trust Russell, 'cause Russell voted to keep Jessie...Uh...'cause he KEPT his word. Jeff's an idiot!

    ReplyDelete
  82. The ending reactions were so telling. Kev and Nat dancing there I gotcha dance, Russ commiserating with Michele and Jeff giving Nat a pat on her shoulder like hey we're all good right? You are stupid Jeff!

    ReplyDelete
  83. Here's my prediction: Nat will win HOH, either put Jeff up or backdoor him. Either way he's gone unless he wins the Veto which is a possibility.

If michelle wins HOH Nat and Kevin will get to her and she will target Jeff. He is her biggest competitor which is why she is so close to him and Jordan now---the "keep your enemies closer method"--that way he doesn't target her and she rides his coattails.

stupid move, Jeff. He should have confronted Russ in front of Kevin.

    ReplyDelete
  84. So sorry to miss the live blogging with all of you. I look forward to seeing the show out here later.

    Joe: NO

    ReplyDelete
  85. I'm putting my coins in Michele's basket. Natalie will be a goner before F2!

    ReplyDelete
  86. OK, just two more hours before the show comes on here. I get to watch it again and see what I missed while I was commenting.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Nat will win HOH? Only when hell freezes over. Can she even tie her own shoes? LOL

Techmotronics is an idiot?!?!? That's blashphemy!

But seriously, you have a point. Except we KNOW he and Michelle were planning on backdooring Jeff so he's not THAT trustworthy. Of course, no one is at this point.

The thing with Russell and Michelle is that they have proven themselves to be loyal to EVERYONE at one time or another. They do sort of keep their word, but they've been on both sides of the house.

In the end, I still say Jeff made the right move (and Russell pre-agreed, he's not so happy AFTER..) Loyalty is irrelevant. If you aren't the HOH winner or POV winner you are GOING on the block - there's no one else to put there. I mean honestly, say Nat goes and Russell stays and Russell is HOH. The BEST Russell can do for Jeff is to nominate Kevin/Michelle (Michelle being Russell's ally, but nonetheless). If either Kevin or Michelle win POV, Russell has to nominate Jeff or Jordan. At this point, it's all about comps and I would much rather compete against Nat/Kevin than Russell.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Jeff, isnt thinking about taking anyone to the final two but he and Jordan, he is too stupid to realize that if he takes Jordan she'll will because he would have gotten rid of all the othre sides alliances and the others that were in an alliance with him, getting rid of Russell might not have been a bad idea, but I question his decision to do so, because the only person who will save his dumb behind next week is Jordan and she really hasn't done that great in comps the only HOH she won was handed to her by Jeff. So if he is depending on Jordan he might be SOL

    ReplyDelete
  90. Why Jeff Looks Dumb To Me:
If Jeff had said something like he KNEW that both Russell/Michele and Natalie/Kevin would be coming after him and Jordan so he decided to remove the physically strongest player first, then I'd have no problem with the Russell nomination.
The fact that he thinks he has a F4
deal with Natalie and Kevin and that's why he put Russell up is why Jeff looks dumb to me.

I hope Russell can talk Michele and Kevin into a Natalie eviction.
    That would be fun stuff.
(I'm now secretly hoping Kevin gets to F2)

    ReplyDelete
  91. Ok, I am sorry to say Jordan is the dumbest female ever on BB. It's like she is confused by simple things, lol. She is just an idiot, no wonder Jeff is attracted to her, that and his choices are slim.
I can't wait to see them get back stabbed. That was a really dumb move Jeff.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Anon 10:34 - Hopefully you will be as gleeful as we were when Jeff showed Jessie the door.

    ReplyDelete
  93. I would love to see Kevin in the final two with Michele.

Kevin's DR sessions make me laugh and he is usually dead on.

Michele is like an absentminded professor. I dont' think it is an act. She acts like many really brilliant (very high IQ) people. She is way out of her element.

    ReplyDelete
  94. regarding Michele and her memory & job choice from previous post.
I think it is a good choice for someone with a memory issue because researchers have to write everything down, not memorize it.
Also, some people are better at remembering facts and figures, than conversations because they are focused on a problem at hand and not giving the conversation their full attention.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Can like someone like tell me like does Michelle like ever talk like a normal person? I mean like does she ever say things like "I like milk" like I am really getting sick of her talking like she knows like what she is talking about...
    Joan

    ReplyDelete
  96. I don't care who wins anymore. I vote for people who are not boring. From the BB yearbook: Kev stays in the diary room as a commentator, Michelle should be the only competitor in the hamster games, J/J develop a sweet shomance, and Nat should win because she is the best schemer. I am sure that schemer is spelled wrong....where is what's his name from NY when you need him? LOL

    ReplyDelete
  97. I feel as betrayed by JJ as I bet Russell does.
My sense of betrayl is not so much because of their backdooring of Russell, but more because I was bamboozled into thinking they were honest to God, nice people.
They were the only ones to treat Michele with any decency when the rest of the house, with Ronnie in the lead, treated her horribly. Now look at how they are treating her!
They are just being cruel for sport, there is no game play in how they are treating her.
They are also letting me down with their arrogant behavior, where are the down to earth, humble JJ, we loved so much?

I just keep thinking maybe this is some intricate plan that Michele is a part of, but then I wake up and realize JJ aren't smart enough to come up with a 2 step plan.

Now, if they are behaving well, I don't trust it I think that they are being fake.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Are we really sure that Natalie is 24?
Is it possible that she lied to BB?
Reading about her conversation with Kevin regarding her father's girlfriend makes me think she is about 12 years old!
At her supposed age, she can't even let her father have a relationship without behaving as a spoiled brat.
She might be chronologically 24, but everything about her screams developmental age 12 - 14.Oh yes JMO

    ReplyDelete
  99. I really feel sorry for Russ. He's been very quiet and almost no one is talking to him. Jeff is sayig mean things about Michele and how much he hates her. Jeff, the nice guy, where did you go? From being my favorite, I can't wait to see when Natalie or Kevin stabs you in the back. You better win all comps Jeff because karma is a biotch.

    ReplyDelete
  100. agree with ryzand completely
that is what bugs me about the bd russell thing, that jeff was played by nat/kev
i am now rooting for kev
jeff showed a side i don't like, when you read jokers it is horrible.
so i am rooting for michelle or kev at this point
    anyone but NAT

    ReplyDelete
  101. What a show! Went from most boring to pulling for J/J because they really seemed to be such nice people for a reality show, now down to 1 nice person. One of them was going to get my vote for the $25,000 but at this moment it's going to Russell (bully or not). Please,Survivor, Hurry!!!!!!! Pat in Fl

    ReplyDelete
  102. To paraphrase Blue Collar commedian Ron White, "You can't fix Stupid."

    ReplyDelete
  103. I don't know how long it lasted, but Jordan said she would sleep in the SS room and give Jeff his space in the HOH bed.

Maybe he came and got her...anyone know? The card game all but Russ was playing must have taken its toll on their 'humorous' bickering. "Jeff is tense" Jordan said. Yes, he was, he is still replaying the Russ confrontation but can't get it out to or with Russ.

Michelle thinks she is bonding with Kevin but Kevin says he is playing her and setting her up.

I think if DR drops a few hints on lies told in the house that all of them might begin to compare notes.

And as to the hg I want to win. I don't care..but I want to see them playing the game. That is why I watch. No body should walk into the winner's circle of F2.

    ReplyDelete
  104. Unless something happens to change my mind I think I, too, will give my vote to Russell for the $25,000 when given the opportunity. I really felt sorry for him because as mean as he has been, he also has been very loyal. And when he tried to talk to Jeff just to get a feeling of being secure, Jeff wouldn't even answer him. I understand Russell talked about taking Jeff out, but of course he did... eventually all of them will have to go on the block as the numbers dwindle.

I was really liking J/J, but this past episode, even tho I knew what went down, got a little much. It did appear that Jeff was putting Jordon down, even tho I know we know he wasn't. (Did that make sense?)

If the girls are smart, they will vote out Russell and then there will be three girls and two guys in the house. My thoughts would be to team up with an all girls alliance and get rid of the other two guys. Of course that would mean winning some competitions.

The only one left in the house that I would NOT want to win the $500,000 is Natalie. I know some would say she's playing a good game, and she is I guess, but I just don't like her.

    ReplyDelete
  105. If Jeff goes home next week (which I doubt because he can play for the veto) I want to see the jury house with all that testosterone. Jeff, Russ, Jesse and the icing on the cake....ta daaaaa, Lydia running around like a crazy person

    ReplyDelete
  106. As bad as it is in the house right now, I still don't want Jessie back!

Hope that made you smile when you read that.

The paranoia is rampant right now and the heat wave this week will probably drive them all even further over the edge. Tomorrow's show should be great.

Off Topic: A hearty farewell to Ted Kennedy. 1932 - 2009

    ReplyDelete
  107. Anon 10:21 OMG ... The visual of all three testosterone pumped guys and the lovely Lydia is almost too much for my brain! Yikes ...

    ReplyDelete
  108. A sad day and a phasing out of Camelot. Ted Kennedy's life was a bumpy road to say the least but I also offer a fond farewell. RIP, Senator Kennedy.
