The Amazing Race - 11/22/09 Episode Blog Party Post

Surprise, surprise ... the show has been delayed by football here in the NYC viewing area. 60 Minutes started about 30 minutes late, so we can expect TAR at about 8:30-ish PM ET.

As it airs here on the East Coast, I'll update any major happenings in this entry. However, the real fun (and most of the information) will be in the comments. Everyone is welcome to join in. My actual show review will be posted over on
TV Squad sometime late tonight.

Pit Stop Order
1. Megan and Cheyne - trip to Hawaii
2. Sam and Dan
3. Flight Time and Big Easy
4. Brian and Ericka -- Non-Philimination, so they're still in it!

  1. I just want to say it was the Oakland Raiders game that went so long. The winning Charger game was over almost on time. By the way, we beat the Broncos and are now if first place all by ourselves.

Celebratory tacos and beer are available for all. Go Bolts!

We now go back to the regularly scheduled program ... as soon as it starts.

Guess I'll throw my Tri-tip kabobs on the grill with roasted potatoes. Just I'll just have to read the blogs later.

Save me a taco & long neck!!!

    ReplyDelete
  13. now I'd be yelling. That has to be so frustrating for the kayak to go over right before the clue!

  14. I don't know why Sam and Dan haven't switched tasks!

  15. WHy are the kids in blue working with the Globetrotters when they held them up at the high wire?

    ReplyDelete
  16. I guess this is when the teams turn into jerks. I hope the cab driver has scrupples.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Darn M and C first again ugh

    ReplyDelete
  18. Thanks for the well wishes, for the kids. But seriously, these twins are taking this "togetherness" too far!!

I get online to read blog & now, darn kids are awake!!! Y? Y? Y? Can't be the flu again!! The already had H1N1 last month. What's with this regular flu nonsense.

What do you mean "blue team" helping Big Easy & Flight Time? They aren't leading? Stop being silly and get the task done!! Silly boys!!

No school all week, but why must my vacation be just the nurse maid?

I'm a pay them back when I get old. And that's a promise.

  21. I like the GLobetrotters but that's good that Megan and Cheyne passed them up to get to the Mat. They get a trip to Hawaii... good prize!

  22. Really Delee? It's a non elim? I thought that that was no more...

    BTW, where did redonculous start?

    ReplyDelete
  23. At least we can see a few sparks when the cab-thieves get confronted---hopefully!

    HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL!!!

    ReplyDelete
  24. why is sistah going so slow? I mean I know you don't want to miss anything... maybe because they know it's a non elim round?

DO they actually know when it's a non elim or is it a surprise to them all?

    ReplyDelete
  25. I feel for you Sick bed, CA!!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  26. I would say surprise why would you want to do a Speed Bump?

    ReplyDelete
  27. I was just wondering why she seemed in no hurry to find that little instrument. Maybe she was really tired or something....

    ReplyDelete
  28. I think I'm rotting for the blue team... I don't like the Globetrotters, I don't like the husband and wife, and I definitely don't like the brothers, so that leaves the blue team.

    ReplyDelete
  29. And rotting maybe wasn't a typo! But it's funny!

  30. I am getting real sick of Miss America!! Come on speed it up and stop complaining. It's not like they are doing physics!!! She couldn't count bells, she couldn't herd ducks, what can she do?

Oh yeah she did say that she starts each leg with full make up and her hair "did"!!!

Next week preview, she can't even carry a tray of drinks. I think the baristas are jumping for joy that she isn't representing them!!!

  33. Miss America can do as much as toaster. Oh wait a toaster can cook.

  34. I'm with you Meb, but I also think Megan and Cheyne have been very good at all the tasks. Except for the hay bales where he was condescending to Megan at best, they do get along and work well together. The GT get a good edit; they balme dan for tripping them!?! They lost me after taunting Mika at the water slide. Sam and Dan bicker too much, and Miss America and hubby both act like divas and just don't perform that well. She wasn't even trying to find that mandolin. Matt and Gary worked so hard last week only to be eliminated; these guys barely tried and get another chance. At this point it's Megan and Cheyne's to lose.

  35. seemslike miss americas husband has
her do all the road blocks.
When they globetrotters came in Phil said they were guaranteed a
place in the top 3, how can that be.
    The brothers have become totally
    obnoxious.

  37. Hi all!

I just wanted to take a minute while the pies are in the oven to stop by and wish everyone a blessed and happy Thanksgiving.

I'm hosting dinner for the entire family again. It's a lot of work but that's what I get for setting the tradition in my family. I'm not complaining...much...and I do love having the whole family together.

I greatly miss being able to particpate here on the blog but it's comforting to know you all are still here chatting away.

    Jackie...

I want to say an extra special thank you for all you do for your fans here on the best blog ever.

    God Bless!
