Survivor Samoa - 11/19 Episode Blog Party Post

The show is about to begin here on the East Coast. As it airs, I'll update this post with any major happenings. However, the real action is in the comments section! Please feel free to join in with your thoughts while having fun with friends. Late tonight my show review will be posted on TV Squad.

Reward, split into two teams -- Russell, Laura, Brett, Dave, and Natalie won. They get a flight to a nearby island with a waterfall, picnic, and a Palm Pre to take pictures ... hmm, that's a phone. Could there be more?

BWAHAHA! Russell found the THIRD idol!

Mick won immunity!

Laura is gone.

  1. I have popcorn, peanuts and cold beer. I have a feeling tonight will be a good show.

I'm still rooting for our man Mick, Jackie, but I tune in mainly to see what Russell will do next.

  2. I am for sure...what will he do tonight!!!

  3. Me too! Hey, someone remind me to go to TV Squad tomorrow. Jackie does such a wonderful job I think that we should all go over and comment. Let the big bosses know we appreciate her.

  4. Will John-Boy jump ship tonight? Me thinks he might. Just keep Laura from winning immunity!

  5. I'm here with freshly made -- YUMMY-- Guac and salty, crunchy chips and peanut butter chocolate ice cream! Not to necessarily eat together!

    ReplyDelete
  6. Shambo keep your mouth shut! Don't put the cart before the horse.

  7. Wow this is intense! this challenge

  8. Duh, that was me, syd... not an anon

  9. If Nat falls they are out>????

    ReplyDelete
  10. Natalie worked that challenge. I kept thinking she was going to fall out on her face. I know I would have. :)

    ReplyDelete
  11. Good, purple won! I think that Russell wanted this reward since he figures that a clue will be upcoming. Hope he does the impossible and finds the II again.

That comp looked like fun. I could see me doing that if I was 40 years younger!

  12. Ooo, my favorite chips and dip, Sydney. Passing you a cold one. How did your little squirrel make out? I didn't follow up on that thread so I hope alright.

    ReplyDelete
  13. I have fresh hot tamales to go with the beer and guacamole dip.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Jaison, keep your mouth shut. Looks at Mick. Now you just cooked Sambo's goose!

    ReplyDelete
  15. Interesting. Monica wants John out, who would have thunk it? He wants her out. :)

    ReplyDelete
  16. Mick was shaking his head no.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Unfreaking believable! He found it again, LOL, LOL, LOL

  18. There's something very wrong with this picture.

    ReplyDelete
  19. THAT IS TOOOOO FUNNY!!

    Go, Russell.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Seriously, Russell is a man among boys (and girls). Did you see him just dust Dave in the sprint and outwit him at the same time? Tooo funny!

    ReplyDelete
  21. How easy are they making this? Now he's getting pictures of it?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Argh -- It's thunderstorming here!

    ReplyDelete
  23. It's raining here and is supposed to rain all day tomorrow.

    Come on Mick!

    ReplyDelete
  24. Yeah, Mick uses a little physics knowledge there and wins immunity. Our guy is safe tonight!

    ReplyDelete
  25. Anon, yes, he saw a picture, but so did four other people.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Russell is losing his gut and I almost don't recognize Shambo.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I can't believe Russell found the frigging idol again. I mean, how many trees and rocks are there where they are... They could have been anyhere. The producers. They must have made it pretty close to camp.

  29. I know I'm late, but if Shambo smiles any bigger she's going to split her lip. Too funny. She is so happy.

    ReplyDelete
  30. A picture of a place where he had already found one.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Dave saw the picture and even picked up the rock before Russell.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Jumping in to yell "GO NATALIE" (we are still in the pool)

Life has been good and hectic - but even if I can only join you guys in real time once in a while - know that I read everything!!

  33. I dislike people who eat with their mouth open. That is a reason to vote against.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Yes, John will flip. No one wants the purple rock!

    ReplyDelete
  35. Jaison talks like a lawyer.

    ReplyDelete
  36. May I just say -- I'm confused?

I need to watch this one again.

But it's the BEST Show! I LOVE SURVIVOR... holding up after how many seasons? 14?

    ReplyDelete
  37. I hope, hope, hope they talked John into flipping.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Here comes the purple rock, or will it? Someone will jump ship... will it be John or who????

    ReplyDelete
  39. Dave is full of bull. Why didn't he volunteer himself to be the one that they said they were going to vote against.

John, flip, don't chance having to draw a rock.

They should have known better than to trust Monica.

GOOD JOB guys! John just bought himself another week.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Oh, and Monica.... bend over and kiss your behind goodbye!

    ReplyDelete
  41. Goodie, goodie gumpdrops! Laura goes bye-bye and Foa Foa has the numbers now! I love it!!!

    ReplyDelete
  42. Erik's reactions are priceless.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Very good episode of Survivor. Now, what will Russell do with his II? The numbers haved turned, but will Russell survive?

I think he will, but I'm still rooting for the unknown (Mick)!

    ReplyDelete
  44. I think Dave is an idiot. He's the main reason Galu went from up 8-4 to down 5(or 6) to 4. And seriously? Your big move is to take a chance by drawing a rock? Chance is a big move? John made the big move - he guaranteed his survival by jumping. In an individual game, why would anyone who is safe take a chance on the rocks?

Just saw the preview: how much do you want to bet that they AREN'T talking about Russell? Notice they didn't show anyone mention his name because they want us to think it is Russell.

    ReplyDelete
  45. This is the third time this has happened... that the group going into the merge with the most votes ended up getting squashed. The second time was last year and the first time was with Ozzie's four person group.

    ReplyDelete
  46. That was the best. Double Vote and Laura really got evicted! And John kept sitting there trying to act like he wasn't the swing vote. Loved it!

    ReplyDelete
  47. Russell lost Dave by running away before he found the right rock.

    ReplyDelete
  48. this is the best survivor ever!

    ReplyDelete
  49. I, too, would like to know if the squirrel made it? Hope so!

    ReplyDelete
  50. Hey guys!

Just peeking in. Russell found the 3rd idol?! OMG! ACK!

If I'm reading right (fast) at least Laura finally got booted. I'm not sure why but she rubbed me the wrong way.

    Jackie...

More thunderstorms? DANG! How does Vincent react? Hopefully nothing happens to your power. Oh, before I sign off, I'm almost finished with a Thanksgiving graphic for you so please check your emails.

Can't wait to see the show. From all the comments it was a good one.

    Ciao~

    ReplyDelete
  51. that Russell must be a plant...I cant believe they are hidden very well if he is the only one who finds it.
    sour grapes, I know.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Zoetawny I agree with you about Laura and she's my pool pick! I have actually been rooting for Natalie. I think she's an excellent player in every way, and rather subtle about it, too. This has been a great season so far- these people are really playing the game.

  53. Hello, everyone! I never get a chance to check in these days. Hope everyone is doing well.

Isn't funny how everyone HATED Russell in the beginning & now so many are cheering my Texas boy on? Becky & I may not be there in the end, but we are still in the pool!

    ReplyDelete
  54. Oh man, how intense was that elimination? I can't wait to ask Laura about that experience. If you guys have any burning questions or just want more scoop, Laura will be online taking questions today at 3:30pm ET/12:30pm PT. http://bit.ly/p71C8

    See you there!

  55. I was not a fan of Russell after he said he was a survivor of Katrina but I have to say I find myself cheering him on. He is a PITA but very entertaining and a great Survivor player.
It is a probably the kiss of death for Russell now that I am cheering for him.
I also would like to shout out to Jeff Probst that Russell is good for the show and much more entertaining than Coach ever was. Russell is a player and Coach is just mental.

    ReplyDelete
  56. This is definately the most intens season ever.

Like Russell hate him, he is the
    best player ever.

Not only by finding the idols but also for the way he manages to get
people to do what he wants.

  57. Galu has been great at comps, but not so great at actually playing this game. If nothing else, why haven't any of them noticed that whenever Russell finds a new idol, he always keeps it in the same place when he goes to the councils? His left lower pocket of his shorts. It has to be noticeable because of its shape and bulk. He's produced it from that same pocket every time.

    ReplyDelete
  58. He also takes it from that same pocket when he shows it to everyone.

    ReplyDelete
  59. ***SURVIVOR POOL UPDATE***

IMHO All members of the original Galu tribe deserve to lose. What a bunch of idiots - even Shambo does not act like she wants to win. If by some miracle she does - she will turn and hand it off to Russell. CRAZY

  61. I know y'all have probably already covered this and I missed it, but I can not wait for Season 20 of the All-Stars now that I've seen what Russell has done on this season. It's going to be just like when Rupert came home, no one had seen his season, or knew his game play, only this time...oh man, these All Stars have a storm coming their way named Russell! I am so excited to see him do this all over again in January/Spring. Go Russell! You were made for this game!

    ReplyDelete
  62. Y'all are giving Russell way too much credit. Season ain't over yet.

    ReplyDelete
  63. I cannot understand why russell is still heavy whereas the others are fading away and always finding the idol. Very strange CBS. If he wins at the end I will know something was not right. anyone else feel the same

    ReplyDelete
  64. No anon on 11/24 (before me!) You are on your own! I am the one that can't wait for Season 20 so I can watch all the antics a second time around. CBS has 19 seasons of tried and true formula for this show. They do not need to spice it up by telling Russell where the idols are. The ONE strange thing is that 2 idols have been played and I don't remember them throwing it back into play after it's been played (yes, after someone left the game w/o playing it.) But then again, I didn't realize they weren't doing the start a fire challenge for tie breakers anymore-I guess that's been gone for several seasons now, I just didn't remember that.

  65. SQUIRREL REPORT: Just wanted you to know that I put up a post with pix and movies of the little squirrel I mentioned here. Thank you for asking again. She did indeed make it, though it was a harrowing time, She is now healthy and happy and growing up!

Please check it out, and leave a comment you were there if you'd like.
