  1. Let's go, people! We must cheer our teams along as we sit by the pool and soak up the sunshine!

  2. Since I have Caite in the pool, I hope she's not as dumb as she came off in that Miss USA thing.

    YAY, Jordan and Jeff.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Wish it was a 2 hour premiere but glad its finally here.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Yay! Jordan and Jeff .... go handsome and your sidekick!

    ReplyDelete
  5. Joyn, she can't be that dumb, can she?

Can't wait to hear where they go for the first leg. I hope they all get to go!

Wish I could see this with you all. We have to wait 3 hours. Right now we are watching the Olympic Nordic ski track.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Ok, I confess. I had to go back and look and see who it was that I have in the pool (the other Jordan LOL) The "alpha males" I will have to watch later carefully to see if I like them or not LOL

No snacks to share tonight. I have a roast in the oven and I can't spoil my dinner!!

  7. Hey, everyone. Here to party! Thanks, Jackie. I haven't been home so couldn't check out the WTW. Will do it during commercial.

  9. Jordan and Jeff may be in trouble. China? But I hope not.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Jordon can not be that un-educated can she?

    ReplyDelete
  11. Looks like the first flight might be last!

    ReplyDelete
  12. OMG, for a minute I thought Jeff and Jordon hadn't even found a means of public transporation.

    ReplyDelete
  13. WOOOOOO HOOOOOO

    Laurie's first! Hi Jackie!

Hi Everyone! I'm here -- we were watching the Olympics and at 6 minutes after 7 PM I realized GAK! I had not set the Tivo. By the time I got a season pass (and set it up for Survivor too) my husband had turned away from the figure skaters and was watching it.

I think we'll be going back and forth though. :-(

Can we post Margo's pool list? I forgot who I have doh! So far from looks alone I like the two cops, the 2 gay guys and girls, and Jordan and Jeff of course.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Hi Guys, I made it to the party! I see Jordan is funny already, LOL.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Oh oh, my cowboys aren't doing too well, thinking Brazilian money would work in Chile!

    ReplyDelete
  16. I have Carol and Brandy...I do not like Brandy. 1st she wishes a major mechanical failure of the
1st plane which could have been in the air) and now laughing at the cowboys.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Louis and Michael -- Thank you DELEE

    ReplyDelete
  27. Brent and Nana -- I know Brent was auffed in Survivor too soon. I think we'll have more luck on TAR.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Why is Jordan having no problems like the other woman? Did she go at another time? The short haired brunette was shaking so much I thought it was due to high winds?

    ReplyDelete
  29. Brent and Caite will have a penalty they did not take the incline...oops

    ReplyDelete
  30. I think Caite and her man made a mistake....

    ReplyDelete
  31. So the white patch was very small so something must be really really hard about the challenge....

    ReplyDelete
  32. WOOOHOOOO TAR is starting.. Sorry i am late didnt realize the time.. been studying for school.. finals coming up but have a test tommorrow final the following monday...

    ReplyDelete
  33. What country did they go to first?

    ReplyDelete
  34. Jordan ain't paintin' very fast...

    ReplyDelete
  35. Phil with that everpresent choker. I wonder if there is an article somewhere that talks about it's meaning... does it have a meaning? lol

    ReplyDelete
  36. DUDES, gonna need to lose the hats soon... and my Texan husband who proposed to me wearing a BIG one says so!

    ReplyDelete
  37. They're in Chile Laurie

    ReplyDelete
  38. That cable thing looks really scary.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Caite just thanked the painter/clue-giver in German? Guess she really doesn't know geography.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Chile Laurie.

I think Jordon did great... maybe a little slow, but she didn't complain like some of the others.

I don't like my pool pick already!

    ReplyDelete
  41. sure wish hubby would let me get east coast channels on our direct tv lol.... hate having to wait 3 hrs

    ReplyDelete
  42. That's funny Sally, I didn't catch that.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Well my guys might be the first ones out. I knew they were in trouble when they asked for Brazilian money, LOL.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Lisanne, I wish it was a 2 hour show too. It was great for Survivor to do 2 hours, though I guess not everyone thought so.

Meb, I thought Jordan did great too. She's too naturally goodnatured to be cranky this early.

SueGee, I was right there with ya. I totally forgot mine too. I need to go back and read their bios.

  46. Jeff and Jordon are first!!! OMGoodness surprise surprise....if it had been up to Jordon they would be in China LOL

They won a trip to Vancouver

    ReplyDelete
  47. Whoo Hoo go Jeff & Jordan!

    ReplyDelete
  48. RBennie--I hope our cowboys hold on a while. I'm sure they'd do really well in some of the physical competitions. And they seem likeable.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Oh that's funny --painting someone's inside of their house.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Uh oh, Caite and Brent screwing up already. 30 minute penalty.

    ReplyDelete
  51. WOW! Jordan and Jeff came in first! OMG Steve and Alli are painting the wrong building! I think we are in trouble!

    ReplyDelete
  52. YAY! Jordon and Jeff were first!!! That's amazing!!! I know they aren't my team, but they're who I'm rooting for.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Yay J&J. Seemed like Jordan wasn't very excited, and also their hugs looked akward... twice. Hope it's just because they're wearing back packs and trying to do it.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Why do they need 4 cans of paint for that small spot?

    ReplyDelete
  55. I love a positive granny.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Hi everyone. Totally forgot it was starting tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  57. The cowboys put both of his paint buckets on the ladder as they carried it between them. Good thinking.

    ReplyDelete
  58. I'm rooting for J & J too. And Caite and Brent.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Aren't Mike and Lou detectives? And they are painting graffiti?

    ReplyDelete
  60. Too funny that many teams are having such a hard time this early in the race!

    ReplyDelete
  61. Cowboy's are in button down shirts, god love em.

    ReplyDelete
  62. WOW a 15 minute penalty for losing the paint brush...will thinhs be stricter this year?

    ReplyDelete
  63. I woulda put that paint on with my hands or a sock but 15 minutes is not a bad penalty with so many people in the game.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Whoa I can't believe my boys made up that much time! Third place.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Grandma and Granddaughter used their heads in carrying the paint and ladder. How did Steve and Alli get to the finish? They painted the wrong house?

    ReplyDelete
  66. Right off the bat? I had hoped this was a non elim ep.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Adrian and Dana are last. He tried so hard.

    ReplyDelete
  68. This was a good first leg. Zoetwany, we are in it for another week!

    ReplyDelete
  69. So my team ended up in 7th place. Details, C & B!

    ReplyDelete
  70. I will catch up with you guys later. Just saw a preview of Survivor where Rob says it is too much for him.

Adrian and Dana did do a terrific job. I am so glad that she was understanding about it.

    ReplyDelete
  71. A pretty good start to the season, but no where near as good as Survivor!

    ReplyDelete
  72. Wow.. two penalties. And.. That was tough challenge. Good start.
Thanks Jackie... and as usual Zoetawn... YOU ROCK!

Good to see everybody. Glad I was able to run in here and comment occasionally.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Night all time for "Hooters"

    ReplyDelete
  74. Caite's a little princess isn't she? "We're lucky number 7, but technically we're number two." No Caite, technically you're number 7 because you didn't play by the rules.

Too bad Adrian and Dana got eliminated--he tried so hard and she seemed very loving and supportive. Shame to see them go.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Oh, I meant to mention that too Becky... that would have been fun to see them find the right house and then race to finish with the other couple.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Augh...they're working as teams and didn't ask Jeff and Jordon to be in an alliance... Now I really hope they win.

    ReplyDelete
  77. It was fun guys. Sorry to see Adrian & Dana out so soon. I liked them. Sorry Auntie Leigh and Donna in AL

    ReplyDelete
  78. Well, I seem to always be the first or second out in the pools! Now I can pull for Jeff and Jordan!

    ReplyDelete
  79. Awesome!! I'm just now home to see the race and watch, my recorded version, and I see I have Jeff and Jordan and that they won the first leg. How cool is that?!!

    Margo, you rock! :)

    ReplyDelete
  80. Sorry I'm late to the party - Mom and I ventured out in the snow and slip slidded our way to my sisters house for heart shaped pizza - yummy.

I hope we get off to a good start.

    Happy Valentines Day!

    Margo and her Mom

    ReplyDelete
  81. I agree about Survivor RBennie. It's tough to beat that 2 hour opener. I hope Rob's not out; he is so entertaining. And the way he built that fire from nothing?!

So Merilee and Dusty we have a great team to root for. Grandma and granddaughter are inspirational. I hope they can keep up.

Sydney, Jeff and Jordan did seem a bit distant. I hope it's just editing. I, too, am rooting for them as well. They're just so nice. I'm a sucker for nice. Sorry to see Adrian and Dana gone so soon. They were a very supportive couple.

So far I also like Steve and Allie, and Louis and Michael. Sorry Margo, Chris and Delee, but Carol and Brandy got to go-nasty wishing disaster so openly upon the other teams.
    ML

    ReplyDelete
  82. Chile! Can't wait to see the show but I'll bet it won't be until tomorrow that I see it. Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

    ReplyDelete
  83. Donna and Leigh, you can hop aboard with my guys if you want. The best thing about being out early is you get to PICK who you root for.

    ReplyDelete
  84. SueGee and Lisanne looks like our guys made a dumb mistake but are hanging in there.
The show went really quickly to me. I didn't get a feel for Daniel and Jordan.
I have to admit I am secretly cheering for Jeff and Jordan. Jordan was my BB player in the pool and I am still cheering for her.

    ReplyDelete
  85. just wanted to drop in and say hello and happy new year to everyone.
I usually only comment on BB but got home from the Mardi Gras parade and just watched TAR...
    I haven't watched in years.
It was great seeing J/J win the first leg.

There is an article with them in the NY POST.
    hope to comment more soon....

    ReplyDelete
  86. Finally got to sit down & watch the show. (Thank goodness I have Tivo! I never get to see anything live.)

Rbennie & Sally, I thought our cowboys were going to have us out of the pool fast. Boy, did they make a comeback -- yee haa!

    ReplyDelete
  87. What is with guys so stupid that they change American dollars into Brazilian reais instead of Chilean pesos? Brazil is on the opposite side of South America from Chile.

And you would think if you did get picked you'd do a little research with a map, a globe and a list of world currencies.

For an adverture show selecting people to travel the world the producers really should pick applicants who have a little knowledge of geography...it would make the show even more interesting.

And what's with the German "danke" instead of the internationally known "gracias" for thank you in a Spanish country? That's worse than just saying "thank you."

    ReplyDelete
  88. Well, here I am a day late..., but it makes no difference to me, I still had to come say HI (waving) to Jackie and the rest of you. Margo, I am so glad you brought your Mom, I have always wanted to meet her. Give her a Hello hug from me (((Margo's Mom))). I have not watched, but want to, so that maybe (just maybe!) I can come join all of you here next leg of TAR. I know what to watch for...J and J might be not so close (but Grandpa is watching, so maybe that is it), I will already know which team didn't complete a challenge and was philiminated, so there will be no need to sedate me for anxiety during the last few minutes of the show. I will watch for the language and money changes, thanks to your comments. It will be fun. Good seeing everyone....

    ReplyDelete
  89. Hi all.
Glad the new season has started.

Sydney I agree with you about the chemistry between Jeff and Jordan.
When they won first place she seemed to pull away whe he went
    to kiss her.
    Hope I am wrong.

    Estelle

    ReplyDelete
  90. Jordan always said that she doesn't like to show public display of affection on camera because it shows a level of disrespect toward her grandparents and her family.

So she doesn't hug Jeff or kiss him in front of a camera. I know it's strange but she told him this and all of us that watched her on Big Brother After Hours on Showtime.

This explains her behavior or what you may perceive to look like indifference or coldness toward Jeff. I'll bet she's really a tiger off camera or why would they have a solid relationship after all of these months? I am rooting or them to win it all. They are a cute couple even though she is a dork at times. They seem to be a great fit.

  91. **Pool Update**

I'm sorry to tel you Adrian & Dana but you are the last team to arrive. You have been Philimitated.

Auntie Leigh & Donna in AL you can root for whomever you like. My girls need some serious soul searching if I'm gonna feel comfortable rooting for them. You have to be careful what you wish for - cause it might come true. That was nasty of them to wish a plane crash on other teams. Way to make everyone hate you ladies.

Caitlin & Brent - Terry in CA, Joy N, Tessa
Carol & Brandy - Margo, Chris, Delee
    Daniel & Jordan - SueGee, Lisanne, Lynn1
Jet & Cord - Rbennie, Jennasmom, Sally
Jody & Shannon - ML, Merrilee, Dusty
Joe & Heidi - PDXGranny, Txrednkgirl, RMJ
    Jordan & Jeff - Rozee, Caela, Monty924
Louis & Michael - Sydney, Brent McKee, Nana in NW
Monique & Shawne - Laurie, MEB, Donna in FL
Steve & Allie - Jackie, Becky, Zoetawny

    Philiminated
Adrian & Dana - Auntie Leigh, Donna in AL

I agree with the anonymous comment regarding the cowboys. Everyone is giving Jordan "stuff" for thinking they were going to China. At least both Chile and China start with C-H-I. The cowboys got money to/for a place that they KNEW for sure they weren't going to. Sorry, peeps, that makes them the idiots of the
    week.

Also, did you catch the fact that as part of Jeff and Jordan's prize (a trip to Vancouver) was the chance to ride skeleton (forward facing/on one's tummy luge, I think) on the Whistler track. :(

I am going to guess that they will pass on that one.

    ReplyDelete
  93. OK... I need to clarify something. I thought my pool picks were the rude dating women, so I said I didn't like them. But mine are the attorneys, and they seemed very nice... so I take it back... I'll be rooting for them and (Jeff and Jordon sometimes).

    ReplyDelete
  94. Should be a fun season (would be more fun in HD though, come on CBS, just buy those cheap HD cameras you can buy in stores!!),

but I don't like how recent seasons have teams with people who are minor celebrities. I don't see why they can't cast all unknowns.

All started with bringing Rob and Amber from Survivor, but then they went back to all unknowns. Next thing you know, Mike White is on the show. So are two Globetrotters. So is a former Miss America. Now the famous Miss Teen South Carolina and the "Big Brother" team. Ugh.

And once again, you have a leg in Chile, and what's the prize??? Trip to Vancouver. Yeah, that makes sense. The teams don't get to enjoy Chile properly, so let's give them a trip to Vancouver!! (Sarcasm)

    ReplyDelete
  95. I read that Phil has said that HD just can't work with this show because of the traveling to other countries. Not all countries have the 'technology' available to us.

I, for one, don't mind the occasional 'celebrity'. They all have an equal chance of winning or losing.
