Big Brother 12 - POV Episode Blog Party Post - Aug, 4

big brother,jackiestvblog

The show is about to start here on the East Coast. As it airs, I'll post important updates in this entry. But the real fun is in the comments section. Everyone is invited to join in with your thoughts! Later tonight (or, worst case scenario, early in the morning), my full show review will be posted over on TV Squad.

POV is down to between Britney and Hayden. As it stands: Enzo has the 3-D flat screen TV, Rachel has $5000, Ragan has a Veto ticket enabling him to compete in any veto comp he chooses, Kristen is (at the moment) holding the POV. Hayden got eliminated ... took the POV from Kristen. Britney won the game and took POV from Hayden, giving him solitary confinement.

Despite a possible deal, Britney didn't use the POV as there was a chance Lane would go up as a replacement.

  1. I'm just going to dangle my feet on the edge tonight. If Rachel annoys me too much, I want to be able to run and hide!

    ReplyDelete
  2. LOL, Sharon. Except for Britney, they almost all annoy me.

    ReplyDelete
  3. The rest might annoy me once Rachel is gone, but anyone/thing is better than her snooty, misguided, egocentric self!

    ReplyDelete
  4. Brendon's bold move should be a big breakup w/Rachel. He'd be better off without her & would get the sympathy (and respect) from the rest of the house.

    ...She's a total a$$.

    ReplyDelete
  5. GAWD...I couldn't survive a single date with Rachel.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Rachel acts like a spoiled, bratty child!

    ReplyDelete
  7. OMG, i love you very much? what do they know each other - a month? so pathetic. i'm tired of rachel, she's so annoying

    ReplyDelete
  8. Brendon's whining whiny tone used to be so annooooyyyinng, but then again sometimes you have to change your approach to a patronizing tone when you speak to children-

Oh well, at least he as big ##$@ (come on, we were all thinking it).

    ReplyDelete
  9. I'm starting to feel sorry for Brendon. That boy is down right pathetic...

    ReplyDelete
  10. Brendon, WAKE UP!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  11. Run Brenden, Run!

    ReplyDelete
  12. Rachel's apology to Kristen and Hayden sounded very insincere, then she turned it into an insult on her way out of the room. What a class act.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Brendon sounds like Mark Wahlberg from The happening

    ReplyDelete
  14. Brendon, when you tell a girl you love her and want to be with and she rolls her eyes.....run

    ReplyDelete
  15. Late again, but just in time for the Veto Competition! Hi ya'll!

    ReplyDelete
  16. Love the addition of the Veto Ticket this season. That could come in handy down the line.

    ReplyDelete
  17. rachel needs a 1

    ReplyDelete
  18. Hey yall!

    Brendon is pa-THE-TIC!!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Frankly, if I were Rachel I would have rolled my eyes at Brendon also. He sounds so pathetic. Women like warriors not puppy dogs (he says, knowing he's always been the puppy dog and has no women! LOL)

    ReplyDelete
  20. How dumb is Rachel? The house couldn't possibly hate her more, she can take all the money she wants.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Lol, Now Joe, I thought you and Petals had a showmance going on.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I am so sick of this group, they talk a good game, but do not know how to play it at all.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Lisanne,

Petals, the nearly anonymous stranger from 1000 miles away is as close as I've come to a girlfriend all year... :(

    ReplyDelete
  24. If/when Rachel is evicted next week, she'll likely blame it on Ragan for giving her the $5,000. It couldn't possibly be anything she herself did.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Hippie-tar... I love the name! She hasn't been too creative with it though.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Poor Kristen -- got the unitard from her kissing buddy.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Love, love, love - Britney!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Poor Joe. I was going to say that I am sure Rachel will be available in a few weeks, but I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

Did Kristen really think she was going to be able to hold onto the veto?

    ReplyDelete
  29. Frankly, if I were Kristen I'd be PO'ed. It all came down to Britney's choice anyway so he could have left the POV with Kristen.

    ReplyDelete
  30. that sucks...not only does he get solitary...which i wouldn't mind...but he gets the crappiest room

    ReplyDelete
  31. I love the Mrs. Roper chop over at sucks. She looks like a cross between Lil Orphan Annie and Mrs. Roper. rofl

    ReplyDelete
  32. Poor Kristen, Hayden is the one who foisted the hippie unitard on her.

How I wish Britney would have stuck Rachel in solitary confinement.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Hah! Lane..."Peace never looked so good."

    ReplyDelete
  34. Gag me. Are they really playing fingers under the door?

    ReplyDelete
  35. Despite my distaste for Kristen, it is kind of romantic, crying across a door together...

    ReplyDelete
  36. LOL, that's who she looks like: a cross between Gwen Verdon and Carrot Top. I couldn't place it before.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Could that announcer speak any faster?

    ReplyDelete
  38. LOL, joyn... my sweetie said the same thing last Thursday night.

    ReplyDelete
  39. oops, I meant Sunday night. The only night we watch it together. :)

    ReplyDelete
  40. Monty, I'm a hopelessly pathetic romantic at heart...as you should know by now. That's kind of why all the solipsism on BB gets to me.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Hey, everyone. Just got home, so will be playing catch up.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Great DR! Bri-bri-bri-gade... missing a tooth, LOL.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Who do Krayden think they are fooling? And why do they care at this point?

    ReplyDelete
  44. Hayden's getting horny !!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Is it bad that I caught that awful Pauly Shore movie reference that Enzo made?

    ReplyDelete
  46. Joe, you know we all <3 you!

    :)

    ReplyDelete
  47. OMG Enzo and Lane, too funny

How can none of the members of the house see the showmance between H/K or the DAB

    ReplyDelete
  48. This sounds blantly like a paid commercial. But who is Rachel kidding--the best movie she's ever seen???? That says more about her than it does about the movie.

    ReplyDelete
  49. missed the clip about the movie -- but, Sally, maybe it is set in Vegas; that would explain Rachel's love for it.

    ReplyDelete
  50. It was Hayden's plan NOT Britney

    ReplyDelete
  51. Seems like Rachel knows about the Brigade, even if they haven't put a name to it.

I had to laugh at Hayden's argument. You can try and trust us, but even if we vote you out next week it's not like anything changed. LMAO! I mean, he's right, but that is hardly a compelling argument.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Ok...getting ready to hide -- I don't need to see her boobs hanging out in that red tank anymore.

    ReplyDelete
  53. I guess I shoud have been adding to this before, but, hope you all don't mind me joining in. I have a google name, but it's been so long since I've joined in, I can't even remember it. LOL

I like Hayden. I know he acts like he's dumb, but I don't think he is. As for the hair, I'm from the time frame when they wore hair like that and it doesn't look half bad. heehee.

Why in the world are they keeping Rachel around? I'm hoping someone gets rid of her soon. Maybe they're keeping her because they think she guarantees them a win?

Britany wanted to secure her "friendship" with Rachel and Brandon. If it means getting rid of Kristen, she'll do so. If Hayden hadn't taken the POV, someone else would have gotten it anyway. I would have enjoyed solitary confinement from these people. Sure wish Rachel had to be forced to replace someone.

  54. Stomping feet, this would of been frikkin beautiful if Brenchel had agreed to this only for them to stab them in the back next week.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Don't worry Hayden, we'll remember you regardless. We'll remember you as the most boring cast in the history of Big Brother!

    ReplyDelete
  56. Britney's actually onto the DAB also. She's not 100%, but she's getting there.

    ReplyDelete
  57. This group is either stupid or insane.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Sorry, Hayden, nice try but they just can't trust you. I wonder if they would have trusted Hayden if it weren't for Kristen. Funny how both "couples" are being done in by the women...

    ReplyDelete
  59. Penny~ They haven't been able to get rid of Rachel. They had a perfect chance last week, but it backfired in Matt's face.

Britney doesn't want to keep Rachel, and will get rid of her as soon as she can. Her being nice to her is all an act.

They should of gotten rid of Brenchel week one, but again Hayden replaced the nom with Annie, which I guess was good since she was the sabo.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Britney got cold feet when she thought Rachel wouldn't put up Kathy. Can't say that I blame her for not using it. Rachel has a momentary flash (and I mean momentary) of brilliance.

    ReplyDelete
  61. well we know this plan isn't going to work.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Does the HOH room have camera views of other rooms in the house this year? If so, no one seems to be making much use of them. Or maybe I've missed it.

    ReplyDelete
  63. i thought kathy and brittany are related. guess i am wrong.

i sure hope this goes well

    ReplyDelete
  64. Genius only if it had worked, Hayden. And it didn't.

    ReplyDelete
  65. now that I think about it, Kristen looks more like Carol Burnette FROM Annie rather than Annie herself!!

    ReplyDelete
  66. I'm on the fence with kristen

    ReplyDelete
  67. Good job Brit.

Everyone in this game thinks they're a genius

    ReplyDelete
  68. Rachel can smirk, but Britney didn't do it for her.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Rachel couldn't hide that sly smile.

    ReplyDelete
  70. This was a nice show, we didn't see Matt once!

    ReplyDelete
  71. here's your towels everyone -- dry off and rest up -- we have a lot of hoping and wishing to do for HOH comp tomorrow!

    ReplyDelete
  72. Oh, AnonE... that is priceless right down the Red Hair band. rofl

    You mean they're NOT!!!!!!!!!!

Be careful, Matt is a certified DSG...

    ReplyDelete
  74. Well, Kristen still can dream, can't she?

    ReplyDelete
  75. Joe, Since Matt wasn't on tonight, may I remind you, on his behalf, that he is the diabolical genius who is controlling all the actions in the house?

    ReplyDelete
  76. Joe, must you pick on my pool boy every chance you get? ;)

    ReplyDelete
  77. Whatis DAB? Thanks in advance.

    ReplyDelete
  78. I would have done the same thing Brittany did. From what I've seen & read, she's close to Lane. Not showmance close, but friends. If she has a clue about the Brigade then she has to know that Lane would keep her safe if one of them had HOH. Hayden has already shown that his allegiance is with Kristen so getting her out and making sure Lane is safe was a good choice for her. I'm really liking her and totally respecting her game play. Monet really brought her down so I'm glad we've gotten to see the Monet-less Brit.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Kathy couldn't win HOH if she was the only guest in the house...

    ReplyDelete
  80. Thanks for the towels Sharon... I actually need one with my AC out and my house is 92 F at the moment. :(

    ReplyDelete
  81. Monty, I'm not sure you even like your pool boy... :)

DAB is dumb a$$ brigade. Just my little pet name for the band of geniuses...

    ReplyDelete
  82. Hee, hee! Loved that last one, Joe.

    ReplyDelete
  83. About Kathy, I meant.

  85. Ahhh... I can't believe I got company, so I'm just now getting to watch... My comments would be old, so, I'll talk at the end. I'm sure 'all ya'all' will be waiting with baited breath. (My tribute to Amy).

    ReplyDelete
  86. I don't, Joe. I have to say that Brit is my favorite at this point, but I have to put in a plug for my pool pick every now and then. :)

    ReplyDelete
  87. Wasn't one of the reasons Rachel targeted Monet was because she won $10,000? Uhmmmm. Maybe they'll finally decide to get rid of her because of the money, since nobody seems to be targeting her because she's a witch. with a capital B.

    Penny

    ReplyDelete
  88. Well, Monty, I said the nicest thing I've ever said about your pool boy: he really made this episode!

    ReplyDelete
  89. Bwahahaha... love you Joe. Goodnight folks! :)

    ReplyDelete
  90. thanks for the DAB answer. makes perfect sense.

i agree, britt did the right thing for her game play. i think if kristen goes, hayden will get back into the game.

the best noms would be kathy and rachel and the entire house acting as if they are going after kathy and then give rachel the vegas shaft! every season someone annoys me - mostly because of their voice - this season it's her!!!!!!!

personally, i thought the door scene with K&H was kind of cute. at least she thought enough to keep him company even just to commiserate. where were the bro bro bro gade when he was most lonely?

    Joe, you are so right!!!

  92. Disappointed that Britney didn't use the veto, but she was in a difficult position, so understand.

She is so funny, as were Enzo and Lane. I love them in the diary room.

This was a good episode. While I wish more were happening in the house, I'll take what I can get.

What's happened to Sydney... we miss you... working too much??? Time to take a break!

    ReplyDelete
  93. Good show tonight. I'm not usually sadistic, but I have to say I enjoyed Kristen's suffering just a tiny bit, LOL. Britney is my pool pick and it's so nice to really like my pick for a change. I think tomorrow's HOH is going to be a bunch of people trying their best to throw the comp, except for Hayden and Brenden, who I believe will truly be fighting for the win. As much as they all talk about taking out R&B, I think they are all leary of actually being the one to attempt it.

It's sad that Ragan doesn't get to know about the overturning of PropH8 in CA today.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Arrgh, it was a perfect plan and I wish it would have happened. It would have given nicodmus's big play a run for BB history.

She's smart, and I understand why she did it. And she is served no matter which she did. I happen to like watching these two in the house more than anyone else.

Jackie, I know what you mean about his mouth, but when he talks he does you see it is full of nice white teeth!

    ReplyDelete
  96. Nicomis. Nostradam.. well, you know who I mean.
