Big Brother 12 - PoV Ceremony, Eviction and Final HoH 1st Round Blog Party, Sept. 8

big brother,jackiestvblog

The show is about to start here on the East Coast. As it airs, I'll post important updates in this entry. But the real fun is in the comments section. Everyone is invited to join in with your thoughts! Later tonight (or, worst case scenario, early in the morning), my full show review will be posted over on TV Squad.

This is the first time ever that they've blocked the final HoH endurance competition round from the live feeds. So I haven't any great insight as to who might have won round one yet. Also, thanks for the birthday wishes, but it is next week. And, yes, Margo ... I believe it's 29.

Hayden won PoV ... but that's such OLD news. Lots of time wasted on the Brigade reveal to Britney. Hayden doesn't use POV, Enzo evicts Britney.

HoH round one started ... on vines slamming into a "wall.'

  1. I'm ready to get this started. I'm angry that I didn't get to watch the first HoH endurance. Who could ever forget seeing Evel Dick and Zack battle it out???

    CBS sucked this season. :)

  3. Here we go....

I have sausage and beef meatballs and plenty of drinks for all. Woohoo!

    ReplyDelete
  4. Mom and I are here and we brought thai chicken pizza. It is a bit spicy.

    ReplyDelete
  5. I think the Brigade reveal will help Britney win the 25K. Dan and Memphis' betrayal of Keesha helped her.

    ReplyDelete
  6. is it just us Monty? where is everyone??

    ReplyDelete
  7. So, just so I'm clear (well, as clear as I can be in the fog in which I exist), this "live" show was taped yesterday?

    ReplyDelete
  8. Emm, thai chicken sound great. Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  9. Hey Margo.... yes Sharon, it was taped last night. The events we will see are long gone... including the final 3 endurance HoH. Sigh!

    ReplyDelete
  10. Sharon that is correct this is "Live" with an *

    ReplyDelete
  11. I still love Britney. She fought right to the end with her words as a strategy. When she didn't win comps, she worked the guys just as much as if she had. She kept Brendon from nominating her.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Margo, I like the "Live" with an *.

    Perfect description.

    I agree, where is everybody?

    ReplyDelete
  13. I liked Britney too. I think she was a great player -- maybe the best this season in terms of all around game play.

I find it a bit confusing after so many years of reality tv for an alliance built solely on loyalty to a promise made day 2 has outweighed best interest for winning the last few nominations/evictions. I had finally adapted to the evil nature of mankind, and now this?! lol

    ReplyDelete
  14. only 4? I guess I won't get splashed in the face too much tonight!

    ReplyDelete
  15. Oops, sorry Jackie. You are always here with us, and sometimes I forget that. Hugs! Monty

    ReplyDelete
  16. SPLASH!

Jackie, I wonder what is happening.... the last month that I've signed on to my Jackie bookmark, no matter which search engine I use, a certificate thingie comes down over your site and saying the certificat for this site was signed by an unknown certifying authority and that it might be pretending to be advserve.shopzilla.com. which could put my personal info out there. What the heck? Does anyone else get this too? If I hit cancel it lets me still see your site. My opther choices are to continue or to see certificate.

Makes me do it every single time I sign on. Any way to make it just go away for good?

    ReplyDelete
  17. I love Lane, but he really is a dodo. Their words, not mine.

    ReplyDelete
  18. lol! Lane is a crackup tonight!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Sydney -- I get that when I log on via my phone, but not on my pc or my macbook. (I prob have something enabled or disabled on my computer/laptop browsers though.)

    ReplyDelete
  20. Hayden rocked that challenge!

    ReplyDelete
  21. I get that when I log on with a Mac, Sydney. I don't know....

    ReplyDelete
  22. Sydney - I don't get that at all. Perhaps creating a new bookmark might fix it? I do have bizrate ads which are run by Shopzilla.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Rats! I missed the end of the POV competition. Had to referee a cat fight in my own house. There must be a stray outside that has them all on edge or something.

I predict they finished Hayden, Britney, Enzo and Lane. Am I right?

    ReplyDelete
  24. Here comes the Brigade reveal. This will be brutal in the CBS edit.

It really wasn't so much, but America will see her cry, and I actually did with her. Joyn and I were on the feeds/BBAD that night. Shout out to Joyn.

    ReplyDelete
  25. ahhh....she's trying not to cry :(

    ReplyDelete
  26. I'm RE-thinking that Hayden decided to shower during the brigade reveal to Brittany because it would be shown on TV. I'm thinking he's smart like a fox and used that to avoid the convo... that way the other boys look a little worse, which could matter in terms of her jury vote.

On the other hand, by the time I typed this, he came in and told her he was not using the veto so that blew my theory. lol

    ReplyDelete
  27. it's play or be played.

    ReplyDelete
  28. When Brit sees the show tapes she'll see Lane didn't totally betray her.

    ReplyDelete
  29. omg -- did he just compare her to a dog?!

    ReplyDelete
  30. feel a little sorry for Brit, but many people tried to tell her earlier.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Enzo handled that badly! He's a total a$$ who really has no clue how what he says and does affects them!!

    ReplyDelete
  32. I agree about Enzo. He doesn't seem to be very empathetic.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Britney has my vote for the $25,000, if there is a viewers' vote. Kind of ironic, as I disliked her and Rachel the most on the first night of the season. But I've changed my mind about Brit.

    ReplyDelete
  34. He did Sharon but country boys think more of their dogs than they do most people so it was a compliment.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Actually, Hayden was in the DR when they told Britney. He went to ask for "libations" and they kept him there a while. He showered and changed well before Enzo and Lane told her.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Sydney, you didn't blow your theory. Hayden went the the DR and they kept him in there.

ORKMommy, I knew this would make Enzo and Lane look like complete schmucks. Enzo was his usual laughing and celebrating self. This was after a long talk among the 3 of them downstairs that they would tell Britney about the Brigade. They didn't know that when Hayden went down to ask for drinks, that they would hold him in there.

Was it perfect? No. But the all agreed to tell Britney. She recovered the next morning.

    ReplyDelete
  37. thanks all -- I have been using these same bookmarks on both safari (mac) and Mozilla for 3 years and suddenly get this.

Anyway, I brought cupcakes to add to the plethora of mouthwatering offerings poolside!

    ReplyDelete
  38. Brit has a rather froxen smile on. But her hair looks great. She knows she'll be having her interview.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Britney looks like a doll tonight. Love her!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  40. I am here too but cannot comment and watch the show at the same time!

    ReplyDelete
  41. no speeches Enzo -- I think that's what Julie meant

    ReplyDelete
  42. ANd Brit didn't say hello to Nick. Hmmmm

    ReplyDelete
  43. What a freakin' good sport. Brachel would not be so

    ReplyDelete
  44. That "FACE" is the Britney that I LOVE. :)

    ReplyDelete
  45. So what is this about this not being live and that we aren't going to see the whole HOH comp? I haven't been able to read back for only one day and I obviously missed a lot.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Sharon, Lane said that he felt like he would when his favorite dog died.

I am in the minority about not feeling sorry for Britney. What goes around comes around.

Did I miss her saying hello to her fiance? I didn't hear her mention him.

I am voting for Brendon to win the favorite houseguest.

    ReplyDelete
  47. It changes the flavor of the game when the final four all like each other. Britney was a very good sport and I think the three guys were all sincere in their exit messages.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Supposedly the feeds will start up after tonight's show. So, if they don't finish round one on the show, we should know anyway.

    Supposedly.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Sydney,

This was all taped yesterday, last night BBT. The first rung of the HOH has already taken place and there is a winner already.

    ReplyDelete
  50. I get the "favorite dog" thing, but I still think Britney might be a little surprised at that comparison when she first hears it!

    ReplyDelete
  51. It looks like Enzo has gotten in better shape this summer, while Lane has gotten in worse shape. I predict this comp event will come down to Hayden and Enzo.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Whose butt is going to start hurting most?

And this is a comp that isn't designed for Brit is it?

Love the Meow Meow. That pretty hard. Didn't expect that.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Jackie,
What is your opinion on this. Will they do the Part 2 live tomorrow night, or will they show it as taped today when the feeds were blocked?

I think they will do it like last year and we will see the 2'nd live tomorrow night.

This is funny, BTW. I can't wait for them to show us what we missed on the feeds. Grrrrrr

    ReplyDelete
  54. Wow, I'm late. Gotta love the first few weeks of the semester.

Sad to see Brit goo, but she was warned.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Monty - I haven't a clue. They've never not shown this part on the feeds before, so I don't dare predict.

    ReplyDelete
  56. I just noticed this... they aren't hanging onto their key. WTF?

They always make them hold onto a key for the HoH endurance.

    ReplyDelete
  57. It comes down to whom is going to freeze first.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Thanks, Jackie. I'm scratching my head as well. Allison is messing with us feed watchers and superfans. We can't predict anything this season. :)

    ReplyDelete
  59. Can we take a poll -- who are you voting for for the $25 if you don't mind saying. I have read a million different theories but now that it's time...

I can't decide between Brit, Enzo and... I don't know.

Brit fought really hard to be here and so did Ragan. I thought Ragan was not a great person, though I did root for him for awhile. I don't know why people who have read or watched all the feeds say she's hideous. I know she's picked people apart for totally superficial things. But that describes most of the people I know and worked with in the entertainment industry -- fashion, publishing, TV, film, the stars as well as the workers, lol.

She really did a great job of working it. She also won $10,000... but she got to that final 4. I think I'm going with Brit.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Julie just answered my question. They'll do the part 2 tomorrow live.

At least there will be 3 in there instead of 2 on the feeds until next Wednesday.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Sydney, I'm voting for Britney. I think she played the game the best, and she made my laugh a lot.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Monty, duh, what's BBT? Big Brother what with a T?

    ReplyDelete
  63. I'm voting for Brit too.

If Hayden doesn't win the first part of this final HOH, I might vote for him too (if we're allowed multiple votes. He's won several competitions while playing a strong social game and being nice to everyone--a rare combination.

    ReplyDelete
  64. The feeds probably won't return until after the west coast airing -- midnight here. I'll post a quick update when I know who won part one.

My money's on Hayden -- Lane weighs more and Enzo's inept.

    ReplyDelete
  65. BBT is Big Brother Time -- west coast.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Sydney-
I don't think anyone deserves the $25 grand in my opinion. No body made any bold moves or game shake up or turned on their alliance to better their game, oh wait that is survivor...

hmmmm. WHO really deserves the money? We can disect each hamster on why they deserve or doesn't deserve the money. For me, it all comes down to game play. Who played the hardest.... I would have to vote for Brendon.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Sharon - I'm sure Brit won't be offended because she's from the same country boy region he's from. I'd be flattered if someone said that about me!

I'm not spending money on the vote but I'd vote for Brit!

    ReplyDelete
  68. Sydney you are right. This was definitely not designed with Britney in mind. That was my first thought when they slammed into the "wall".

My votes will go to Britney.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Merliee, you're right, Brendan did fight hard and won many things. He is deserving, as I can kind of separate him from his intense interest in Rachel.... lol

    ReplyDelete
  70. Thanks Jackie, lol. Right! BBT. Makes sense now.

And Ork, if I vote online is it going to cost me??? I thought not!

    ReplyDelete
  71. Sydney,

I'll give you my vote quick and simple.

Btitney = my vote for 25K/ never had an alliance and clawed her way to F4
Rachel = no way (Janelle wannabe)
Brendon = he wanted to give his spot in the house up... no way
Enzo = loved his humor but cheated and ate on 'Have Not' weeks. aka "Fridge Face"
Hayden = he'll win this season and has already won enough
Lane = good guy, heart in there but didn't do enough to make me enjoy the BB experience which includes the Live Feeds
Ragan = Great guy, cried too much, and he's already got 20K that America voted him to have.

    Just my thoughts, LOL!

    ReplyDelete
  72. Jackie -- plus Enzo is wasting energy yelling though it makes it fun at first. But people who do that slip when they don't want to.

    ReplyDelete
  73. I vote Britney for the $25,000. After Monet left, she played a great game and lasted until F4.

BTW, I loved her earrings tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Great watching the show with all of you. Night for now! :)

    ReplyDelete
  75. I can't agree Merilee. The only reason Brendon started playing is because they got rid of Rachel. Until she left he was willing to give up his game for her. In my book that makes him ineligible for anything except writing 'schmuck' 25,000 times!!!

    ReplyDelete
  76. That's a good point too Orkmommy -- you've said that before and I forgot there for a minute. I voted online for Brit. Looks like you can vote more than once.

    ReplyDelete
  77. ORKMommy, I'm a country girl too, albeit northern NY style (wayyyyy north), but I'm not really a dog person -- all I think of when I hear or see dog is their smell and drool.

Monty, I agree with your analysis. I would also add, if I were pressed for more, that I would definitely not vote for Brendan because he stopped playing the game and was sucked into the Rachel vortex and could only act the role of a...well, some things are better left unsaid!

    ReplyDelete
  78. There was no endurance test in the very first Big Brother. A lot of thigs have changed, since Season 1.

As far as this one, Monty, you haven't missed anything yet.

I really felt so sorry for Britney. The look on her face made me sad. I also felt sorry for Lane because you know she thought he used her (he did in many ways).

I was VERY impressed with how Hayden won the veto competition. Hey, there might be some smarts in this young man's head. He really does have a great memory.

I hope Brit wins the favorite player award. She really is a sweet girl. I think it's great how she handled it after the initial shock. The guys (save Enzo) were really nice to her. Enzo tried, but he came across kind of crass.

Lane and the dog thing - gosh Lane, you really know what to say to a girl, don't you?

I have more respect for Hayden. I know many do not like him, but he really has played well in the last few weeks and he does know how to soften a blow better than the other two.

I think BB's come and go for interesting and then not interesting. I watched the first one be was really turned off by how vulgar Eddie was during the whole game. Yes, I know he lost his leg to cancer, but gosh, it doesn't mean you have to be mean to everyone.

My favorite was probably Season Two. I'm glad I gave it a chance because I really didn't enjoy BB1; even though I did like an open back yard. The fly overs were great! I did like Hardy, many didn't, but I think the worse were Nicole and Shannon. It had some pretty colorful characters; and I'm not talking just Dr. Will. LOL

I almost stopped watching after Season 4. I did not like Jun, mean girls galore.

Anyway, was glad BB6 was better.

I'm rambling. Sure, this was a boring season, but we complain when they are nasty and hate it when they're boring. The one thing I like about this is they stuck together. They had a plan and they stayed with it. No matter how it ends, though, one of the brigade will be upset because the person who wins the last HOH will have to choose who they want to take with them. They've all promised each other, so someone will be pretty mad. I hope they look at it as part of the game.

    ReplyDelete
  79. I have to add:

Sharon S. I'm originally from the Adirondacks of NY. I still have brothers and sisters there. A lot of people do not look at NY as country. Little do they know there are areas in UpState NY that can not get cell phone service.

When we drive home on 90, we always lose service going through New Amsterdam ad that area. Then when you get up in the North Country, service is scattered. I can not get it at my home in NY. When I visit, if I want to use my cell, I have to go in to town to get service.

And, if Lane compared me to his favorite dog; as long as he treated the dog with tender loving care, I'd be flattered, too. Men...they are so funny.

    ReplyDelete
  80. @Margo I am in for the Survivor POOL. Last time I got the peed in side of the pool...

    ReplyDelete
  81. Becky,

I'm with you I am so happy that Britney got voted out. Yeah!!! I guess she must be real pleased with the fact that her best buds, nominated her and voted her out instead of Brendon. I feel she got just what she deserved for being so mean spirited, it's called Karma. I'm sure she and Ragan can continue there meaness, that's if he's still talking to her after she kicked him to the curb. They will all probably congradulate her for hanging in there for so long, and then when she's not around they'll trash her the same way as she did them.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Late as usual. Sydney, my vote is for Brit. She earned it!

Loved Lane's comment that losing Brit was like losing his favorite dog! For a country boy, that would be heartbreak big time! He is funny.

Lane certainly didn't do very well in the HOH comp. Brit should have put those cards up as she found them like Hayden was doing... He was way ahead of her though, so no big deal.

I watched all that where they told her about the Brigade on BBAD. She wasn't getting it that she had no chance just because they were in an alliance until Hayden came in and said he wasn't using the Veto. She was surprised. Enzo thought she got it... she didn't.. .not until Hayden came right out with it. I wanted to cry with her.

    I just like her.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Finally got the internet to keep on (again) arrrrgggggg

I am just so stoked that one week from tonight we get both 1) The new season of Survivor and 2) And ending to the BB season!!! Maybe I should take the day off???

Ok - off to watch the show here in a little bit, but I'm trying to find a spoiler about AGT and who is in the finals...

  84. PS My Vote is for Jackie to get the $25K Much harder to watch them than to be one ROFL

    ReplyDelete
  85. Orkmommy-

Brendon was blinded by love. We all do stupid things when we are in love. But the hamsters voted out Rachel therefore leaving Brendon to sink or swim. He swam for awhile as he didn't have one person in the house as an alliance after Rachel left. He had to play to stay. Maybe his downfall was Rachel, but these hamsters hold a grudge forever and he didn't have a chance after she left.

    ReplyDelete
  86. SueGee - Prince Poppycock, Jackie Evancho, Fighting Gravity and Michael Grimm.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Thanks Jackie! Those were my exact picks from last night. I just watched the second hour of last night's show (I have to go to bed early so I can get up early) and felt they almost had them perform in the order they ranked them, lowest to highest. Go Prince!!

And I went to the CBS web site and voted several times for a $25K winner. Would have kept going but the wv's were hard for me to see.

    Sue on the left coast

    ReplyDelete
  88. The Brigade was on a task, a task to be the last ones standing. They wanted to break up every alliance they could. Rachel's mouth got her in to trouble.

If she had planned it just a little bit differently, I think Brendon would have had an easier time. But, buy the time Rachel left, the bridges had been burned, so it was too late.

    Penny

  89. OMGosh! I'm not a AGT watcher, but after I watched one of my DVRed shows, it happened to be on at the end.

Jackie Evancho is FANTASTIC! She's 10 and sings like a seasoned Opera singer. Wow.

What I saw of Fighting Gravity, I wasn't impressed. I didn't think they were that good. Were they good before last night?

    ReplyDelete
  90. I saw the last 15 minutes of the show tonight and my stupid VCR didn't tape it because stupid me put the wrong time in. I'll have to watch it over on the CBS site tomorrow. Argggggh! I'm so mad at myself.

Anybody know if BBAD is live tonight?

    ReplyDelete
  91. First, Lane compared Britney to one of his 'good' dogs. What does that mean for the other ones. As an animal lover that makes me wonder, southern farmboy culture or not.

Second, I'm neither here nor there about Britney. Yes, her game was good simply by virtue of how far it got her. I don't have the feeds so only really heard about all the nasty comments. There have been really mean people in past BBs (can anyone say EVIL DICK?). There's a reason for that moniker. Britney doesn't even come close, and she was entertaining to watch. However, I don't see how Brendon especially didn't see right through her when she promised him and then reneged. I didn't like that blatant manipulation/ exploitation of Brendon especially. Unlike Lane, who gave pause and who at least felt guilty about some of his actions, Britney never gave a second thought. As many here have said, she set herself up to be unceremoniously dumped in the end. If her actions were just part of the game, so were the boys' actions. So I can't really feel sorry for her. She ignored the warnings because she thought she was 'in' with them. Her initial response to the news of the Brigade showed her sense of entitlement. Wouldn't each of them have felt hugely disappointed that their summer was wasted, too? Why should it only affect her? So although it sounds by a show of posts that Brit will get the $25k, I would not vote for her.
    ML

    ReplyDelete
  92. Continued, lol. I must say that Britney's was one of the better and classier exit speeches I've seen, and it's clear they all have a bond. It appears, at least, that she got over it quickly, and Lane was smart to leave her to sleep. He also seemed to be admitting feelings for her beyond the game, and it was not lost on me that she did not mention Nick in her shout out, and she made two separate ones in her speech.

Also, Enzo semmed a little disappointed that both Lane and Britney only acknowledged him as funny and entertaining. I think he may have been looking for a bit more substance.

    ReplyDelete
  93. **Pool Update**
No surprise here as Brit got the boot. So still wading in the deep end we have ¾ of the brigade:

  94. Monty- thanks for your break down. Interesting to see it.

    LOL Sue Gee

Penny-- I bow to your memory. I watched them all and remember very little, lol.

I liked this season, much more than the previous two with hideous people and behavior. That makes me sound like a stick in the mud and I am definitely not. BUT that stuff stresses me out, it does not entertain me. Dr. Will and Janelle and Kaysar and that big broad shouldered guy on that season (arrgh, what's his name)... now they entertained me. Not Boogie and the wretched girl who was in the F2 with him, not Jun and Allison who I hated watching in the last few weeks. I also liked Eric (though I didn't see what he saw in the cheerleader from KS and I didn't respect that she just rode his coat-tails the whole way. Saw enough nightly beer pong to last 2 lifetimes.

So they may have been boring on the feeds, but I do like this kind of show better. A crowd of one I guess.
