ReplyDeleteKirstie was way better than I thought she would be...I had thought she would be more like Wendy was. I kinda feel sorry for Tony...he never seems to get a good partner.
ReplyDeleteYou can just tell when someone starts to move on the dance floor whether they have it or not. I was surprised a bit because she's always so goofy, but Kirstie can actually dance. I hope she continues to take it seriously. Max is a good partner for her. I was also floored when I heard she was 60. I think she looks pretty good.
ReplyDeleteMy pool boy on the other hand, the wrestler, showed he doesn't have it. I don't think he'll go too far even partnered with Cheryl. They were over-scored. Wendy clomped her way through; she too, doesn't have it. Kendra thinks she's so much more than she is. The Disney girl moved very well but suffered in score being first on the floor. I hope she does well; she and Mark are cute together.
Ralph was a natural, and 49? He looked not a day over 15. But is that his real hair? I hope he's as good at the Latin dances but I'm not too sure...

ReplyDeleteAnxious to see who goes home tonight. I'm hoping it's Wendy... she is obviously the least accomplished dancer of the bunch. I worry that Sugar Ray may go early... for some reason the judges are hard on him.
ReplyDeleteThat fall was frightening between Max and Kirstie. You could tell he was trying to keep her from falling after he went down. Such a gentleman. I thought they did a great job of recovery, but you know Kirstie must have danced in a daze... she said she had no idea where she was in the dance at that point. I really like them and thus far would be my choice for the win. Yeah, I know... it's early in the game for choosing... but I still do.
Yay.. Sugar Ray is safe... That's neat!

ReplyDeleteI agree, Wendy needed to go. She seemed to plod through every dance and never really got any speed or rhythm going. I had never heard of her before this, but she seemed to think she has a lot of fans the way she skipped the final dance and the cast to touch the audience?!?
Glad Sugar Ray is still there. He actually moves well and is such a gentleman. Kendra dances fine, but she doesn't seem too nice, what with her comments about Louis both last night and tonight. Petra, on the other hand, is charming both on the dance floor and off. And I think I may have been wrong about my pool boy the wrestler. He's actually decent (and I'm a sucker for a guy who appreciates his momma).

ReplyDeletejoyn.. Petra is my pool pick too. I don't think she'll win since she's great in the graceful dances, but she has difficulty in the other types. I think it's her log legs and log body. She can't make them move fast enough at the same time. : )

ReplyDeleteAnd I LOVED Mark and Chelea's dance. Len is really a stuffy old man, and he's probably younger than I am... but... I think it's time to start giving the marks for creativity and as long as it resembles the type of dance then it's all good. IMHO.

I'm all for Kendra leaving tonight too. I wanted to see Kirstie not go too soon, and hope she hangs in another week or so but her time will come too.
ReplyDeleteLove Ralph but he does have those "flipper" hands Glen keeps talking about and can't seem to change that. They distract from the rest of his moves.
Hines, Chelsea and Petra are improving all the time and Chris is better than I thought he would be.
I returned to DWTS this season and have enjoyed it as much the some of the older seasons. After last season's disaster of continuing with Bristol Palin who could not dance, you have redeemed the show with the new cast.

I know she can't win this but I am a big fan of hers and want to see her go as far as she's able. LOVE the chemistry of her and Maks. Just that he does whatever to make her laugh and feel comfortable.
