The Amazing Race 20 Blog Party - 03/18/12
Sigh. We were getting spoiled with the show starting on time. March Madness basketball is now the sporting issue. To be honest, I have no clue when 60 Minutes started as I wasn't watching the game before it. Oh. Wait. That started at 7:44pm here on the East Coast. We can expect The Amazing Race at about 8:44pm. Argh.
Once it starts, I'll be updating this post with the major events. But the most action can be found in the comments section. I hope to see you there!
Teams are on their way to Bavaria via Austria.
The Detour deals with fairy tales and champion male (styling a man's beard). Bopper and Mark's Speed Bump has them yodeling. Most of the teams are going for the beard Detour.
The Border Patrol is first to the Roadblock -- sliding their roaming gnomes across ice to a bullseye. Meanwhile, most of the teams have gone to the wrong castle to find the Roadblock clue.
#1 AGAIN -- Art and JJ (Border Patrol) won a trip to Thailand.
2. Joey "Fitness" and Danny
3. Vanessa and Ralph
4. Rachel and Dave
5. Brendon and Rachel
6. Bopper and Mark!!!
7. Nary and Jamie
8. Kerri and Stacy -- Philiminated

ReplyDeletestupid, squeaky, buzzy ball is on my CBS station. But here I am...
Hey guys! Did everyone survive St. Patrick's day?
The show is finally about to start. People will probably come along now, Petals!
ReplyDeleteHi Jackie!! Howdy everyone - time for TAR to start? I'll be back in a few with some cold ones!!
ReplyDeleteSueGee
hi ladies...
ReplyDeleteI kind of hate when they bunch them all up again. Kind of undermines the advantage of doing really well in an earlier leg. I'd love for someone to do a "legless" race. LOL. Send 10 teams out there with no pit stops and whoever completes all the challenges and gets to the finish line first wins...even if they are a week ahead of the 2nd place team.
ReplyDeleteyay!
ReplyDeleteHey Joe, jackie & Petals
ReplyDeleteHi, all!!! Wow, what a mustache and beard!!!
ReplyDeleteI've been to Oberammergau! Murals are beautiful. Nice little town.
OMGosh, it is hard backing up a car in these little towns. The roads between the houses are VERY narrow.
ReplyDeleteHey Jackie, Joe, Sue, Penny!
ReplyDeleteHey, all! I get a kick out of the waiting bearded guys filling themselves with beers. At least the task is different!
ReplyDeleteOh, they are SO lucky. I LOVE Neuschwanstein! It is GORGEOUS. It was never finished inside, though.
ReplyDeletehi everyone
ReplyDeleteHi Margo! Anyone going to tell us what is happening?
ReplyDeleteSueGee
Do we need a drinking word tonight or is Rachael talking enough?
ReplyDeleteSueGee - I have info in the main post. Right now Brenchel and Kentucky are making gingerbread houses for the fairy tale, the others have completed the beards. The Border Agents are still in first after finding the next clue at the castle which was the inspiration for Sleeping Beauty. Other teams are just arriving to the castle now.
ReplyDeleteSue - LOL! Rachel is always enough reason for me to drink!
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm not liking my blog pool team Ralph and Vanessa the more I see them. She's nasty and they bicker. Kentucky, on the other hand, are a hoot!
ReplyDeleteaww, I sure like the Kentucky team.
ReplyDeleteRalph has been married/divorced THREE times and Vanessa is dating him......why? @@
ReplyDeleteI like Bopper and Mark. LOL
ReplyDeleteThanks Jackie. There seems to be a huge lag in what I can see comments wise and on the main page
ReplyDeleteNO!!! This sucks! The WRONG castle!
ReplyDelete:-(
Why is she mad at him?
ReplyDeleteThat castle mix-up has to kill one of those two teams. They were on two different mountains. Has to take some time to undo that mistake.
ReplyDeleteThese guys work so well together.
ReplyDeleteI like Bopper and Mark. I don't want them to be eliminated. :-(
ReplyDeleteYipeeeeeeee!!! LOL
ReplyDeleteLMAO LOLOLOLOL
ReplyDeleteThat was too effing funny. Brendon jumps on the pit stop mat and lands on his backside!
ReplyDeleteyeah, Joe. Hope he got a pants full of cow manure! LOL
ReplyDeletePetals, I saw that you asked if we all had a good St. Patrick's Day.
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I went to his friend's pub. They had a grandmother and grandson team. He played the violin, while she played keyboards. This kid is 18 and he also plays the bagpipes. Wow. He was good. He was as thin as can be and I do not know how he could play the bagpipes! A lot of fun.

It can be called: Survivor New York.
Does anyone know who the person is hurt on Survivor? Or is it a recap show?
ReplyDeleteCommercials -- apply to be on Big Brother and a shocking ending no one saw coming on Survivor.
ReplyDeleteHmm ... maybe they kill Colton? Nah, not surprising enough!
Penny - I am unaware of a Survivor injury, but I can tell you: I sure know who I would LOVE to see hurt!

ReplyDeleteI'd like to see it be Colton, but I know it isn't. :-(
ReplyDeleteI've been trying to find out who it is, but I've found nothing! I'm wondering if it's a recap show? Or is it too early?
Maybe someone trips on their big ego?
ReplyDeleteThis is sad. :-(
ReplyDeleteWill have to check out Survivorsucks to see if there are any spoilers.
ReplyDeleteWell, the other team was right, they'd get lost. Still sad to see them go.
ReplyDeleteI doubt it's a recap show. But it does seem hush-hush on who gets hurt.
ReplyDeleteI looked at survivor sucks and didn't see anything. People are being tight lipped this season. I just do not want to wait. LOL
ReplyDeleteI'm a nosy person and want to know before hand! Heehee
The water thing looks fun.
ReplyDeleteSee everyone Wednesday!!!
ReplyDeleteI guess we'll find out Wednesday night, eh?
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone for stopping by!
**Pool Update**
ReplyDeleteI thought that perhaps the Border Agents might get a penalty for riding in the horse carriage up the hill, but no. Wonder why no one else decided to ride. Alas I am out of the pool. :( BUT YEA HILLBILLIES!
I really think that Bopper & Mark are a fun team to watch.
