Big Brother 14: Nominations and PoV Show Blog Party - July 25

BB12 Blogo 3

Now, tonight's show should be good! I'll update this entry with major events as they air here. However, as always ... the real fun is in the comments area. Come join us!

Nominations key order -- Jenn, Ian, Joe, Wil, Danielle. Shane and JoJo were nominated because they "aligned with Willie."

PoV Player Picks - Frank -- Ian, Shane -- Ashley, JoJo -- Wil. Frank chose Joe as the host.

The PoV was like a fiesta. The competitors were dressed like tortilla chips. They had to go through salsa and dip finding menu items to match a BB menu. Observers had margaritas. Shane wins the Power of Veto!

America's choice for the Have Nots: cereal and salmon, garbanzo beans and giblets, lima beans and lemons.

Veto meeting time -- Shane saves himself (duh). Frank nominates Danielle in his place.

  1. I've brought the sugar high...

Cotton candy, peeps and strawberry margaritas with powdered sugar rimmed glasses. Petals has the tequil-ya

  2. Where is everybody... Big Splash all by myself!

    Hey Jackie!

    ReplyDelete
  3. Howdy Jackie. Glad to see you, was worried there for a few minutes. :)

    ReplyDelete
  4. ~*~ SPLASH ~*~

Jackie - were you behind the cabana with Shane? *wink*

    ReplyDelete
  5. Hey, Meb.... we can party to the others arrive

    ReplyDelete
  6. I'm finally getting a chance to come here.

I want salt on my margaritas....;-)

    Penny

    ReplyDelete
  7. (setting-up the margaritas on the bar)

    ReplyDelete
  8. Petals will fix you up, Penny!

    ReplyDelete
  9. Now to figure out my google account again...

    Hi everyone!!!

    ReplyDelete
  10. Sorry ... had a few technical difficulties.

    ReplyDelete
  11. (salting Penny's glass) Comin' up!

mmmmmm...Peeps really set-off the lime in the drinks, LOL

    ReplyDelete
  12. Now that Willie is gone, who is everyone hating on???

    Penny

    ReplyDelete
  13. Hey Petals... caught up with the Willie stuff...

    ReplyDelete
  14. I think the consensus is Joe, Penny

    ReplyDelete
  15. Man, I can just taste that margarita!!!! mmmmmm

    ReplyDelete
  16. Knew I should have bought some real ones...LOL

    ReplyDelete
  17. That's what I thought. I cannot stand Joe. What a piece of bad work. I really do not like Frank and Boogie, either.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Hey, everyone! Jackie, great photos Sunday and wonderful writeups.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Hey everyone! Greetings from San Diego where the sun is shining and the breeze is blowing.

I haven't seen the show yet and I'm wondering if there are any showmances yet.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Shane is sooo easy on the eyes, but that make-up last night???? E-gads!

    ReplyDelete
  21. I should go back and read the live feed blog. Does Shane do well on the POV?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Nickelpeed, I agree with the fact that Frank and Boggie with their superiority can cause you to not like them... as for Joe... he should be the next one out.

    ReplyDelete
  23. What SNL character does Frank remind me of with all of the hilarious hand gestures?

    ReplyDelete
  24. I did not get a chance to comment on Willie, but I laughed when he said he was not his brother, well, he certainly had the temper of his brother. O_O

    ReplyDelete
  25. Ian has been nearly invisible the past few days? Where is that lil elf?

    ReplyDelete
  26. Hi Becky! How are you doing? ((((Hugs)))
    You hanging in there?

    ReplyDelete
  27. Penny, he had Russell's temper, but not his brains. Russell would never have blown a gasket like that. hehe

    ReplyDelete
  28. What is the meaning -- or is there one with the star tatoos on Jo Jo's elbows?

    ReplyDelete
  29. JimmyB - The church lady? LOL

    ReplyDelete
  30. I wish they'd quit showing Willie's picture. He looks so much like Russell, it's frightening. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  31. I guess I better take my surfboard out of the water.

    ReplyDelete
  32. meb - I really *ick* on JoJo. She is so "hood", so crass. Joe is kind of a guy I roll my eyes at (@@, as Ms J would put it), but he's more tolerable than JoJo, IMO.

Joe is an pot-stirer, tho. He is like a lil girl with all his tattling.

    ReplyDelete
  33. OMGosh, they just showed Magmum Mini Ice Cream nuggets....now I want one

    ReplyDelete
  34. Nickelpeed said...
JimmyB - The church lady? LOL

Nickel...I can't remember details. It was either a lesser-known character OR it wasn't even on SNL!

    ReplyDelete
  35. Oh, so agree on the Russell vs. Willie. Russell kept his cool on the island. Silly Willie couldn't keep his in a house with A/C, food, a back yard with a pool and hot tub, etc. Willie didn't live up to my expectations. Sigh

    ReplyDelete
  36. Boogie has good ideas, even tho I hate to admit it... and I also hate to admit that I don't hate him this season.. 3 hates in one sentence... EEEK!

    ReplyDelete
  37. Becky - a blue star on a woman means 1.5 things: Mainly, it means she likes girls. The .5 means they are porn stars.
Not my opinion - I Googled it!

    ReplyDelete
  38. My pool girl, Ashley, is one dingy chick!

    ReplyDelete
  39. Petals, I thought the same thing about Joe - catty like a teenage girl. Frank is the same way, but I guess it's playing the game.

I really do not mind JoJo.

LOL - @ Ashley - she likes them all. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  40. wow, Ashley - you want a man that "eats food". LMAO! As opposed to what...?

    ReplyDelete
  41. Thanks for askling, Penny. I am doing okay. Being a caretaker can be exhausting. Momma will be 94 on Friday. Of course I am the one having to plan the party too. I sent out an email that we would have BD cake here Saturday from 1-3. I would not have anything but cake and if they wanted something beside ice tea to BTOB. I am not up to being a typical Southern hostess.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Ashley and Janelle have the blue star tattoos as well. Janelle's is only an outline of a star on her wrist. Not sure what that means, lol

    ReplyDelete
  43. Hey - they celebrated National Tequila Day yesterday, too!

    COOL!

    ReplyDelete
  44. Margaritas for everyone!!!

    ReplyDelete
  45. they only thing Google was consistent about was the solid blue star. Apparently alot of young girls (Kara) have outlines, not sure what that means.
JoJo is openly bisexual, tho, right?

    ReplyDelete
  46. O_O

Petals, I didn't know what the stars meant!!

    ReplyDelete
  47. Penny - I had heard about them on lesbians, but didn't want to shoot my fingers off without researching. So...anyway. There that is.

(I am much more subdued with the nasty remarks, as I turned-over a new nice leaf after my mom died last year - you guys may have noticed)

    ReplyDelete
  48. Becky - your brothers need a swift kick in the butt. It shouldn't be all up to you. Wow - 94!

No, being a caretaker is not easy - you deserve a lot of credit for doing this.

    ReplyDelete
  49. WOW, Shane has a darn good looking body, doesn't he? Si, si.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Margarita anyone?? I'm manning the bar.
Instead of chips, pretzels & peanuts, we have bowls of Peeps, Fruit Loops & pork rinds! LOL

    ReplyDelete
  51. Dang it, they just interrupted the show for severe weather notification. Really bad...too. Yikes! I think I'll end up losing my Internet. Yuck. Strong winds. Not good.

    What did I miss?

    ReplyDelete
  52. Oh, Joe, stick a sock in it.

    ReplyDelete
  53. I'll take the pork rinds - LOVE THEM.

When I was a cheerleader many moons ago, I used to bring pop corn and potato chips on the bus and never got any. I decided to start bringing pork rinds. Nobody wanted them. Heeheehee

    ReplyDelete
  54. Penny - lucky to have rain. We're in a severe drought. 3 houses on fire just today in my town, from one cigarette being thrown from a car.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Hang in there (((Becky))). Being a caretaker is exhausting, and you have to remember to take care of yourself too. Happy you get to hang out here with us for BB. You have my thoughts and prayers.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Penny, have you ever tried the cracklins (sp). Super crunchy, and I don't really like them but I have a best friend who does. Her son sends them to her from Texas.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Petals -- we're in major need of rain. It's the wind and tornadoes that are terrible. Wind is really bad.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Becky - I did the same thing for my mom, so I totally understand.

    ReplyDelete
  59. That was cute of Britney.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Yes, Monty - I love them! My dad loved pork rinds and that's where I got my love for them. Definitely a required taste.

    ReplyDelete
  61. People are so inconsiderate, Petals. That's why I was so ticked off the week of the 4th. In the middle of a week long heat wave and drought and they were setting of fireworks 5 days before the 4th. Craziness!!!

    ReplyDelete
  62. Monty, a mailman died from the heat yesterday. He collapsed between houses. So sad.

Uhm...Shane? The Bieber-Sweep 'Do is over.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Same here, Becky and Petals. My mother had dementia and I lived with her (while maintaining my own home) for two years before my brother moved back in with her a year before she passed away.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Jimmy!!! Does Frank remind you of Shaggy? The hippie from Scooby Doo?

    ReplyDelete
  65. We all belong together, don't we? {{{everyone}}}

    ReplyDelete
  66. I wish Shane hadn't agreed not to tell Britney. It butgs me that he really didn't tell her what they proposed. Probably a good move for him but I still don't like it.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Petals - Our neighbor decided to have a bonfire. We live in a farming area. Everything is dry. His stupid bonfire spark his grass. He keeps his two LONG HAIRED dogs outside all the time. He was over there stomping out the fire that was heading toward his dog's pen (that has NO cover for them). They were barking away. He told them to shut up, but geesh, I would have been scared, too!!! He got it out - but how stupid can you be??? There is a farm field right behind him. Dumb.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Shane tried out for The Bachelor and was rejected. He's a pretty boy for sure though, lol.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Penny - that is sooooo sad & scary. I hope he got a HUGE fine!

    ReplyDelete
  70. Just dropping in for a quick hello!! Just home from work and way too much happening to stop and chat. See you all tomorrow!!!

SueGee (happy to be back on the Left Coast where it is a balmy 67 degrees)

    ReplyDelete
  71. Petals, no, he didn't get a fine because we are out in the country and have wells, so we can water as much as we want. We do not because it can dry up the well. He is just stupid.

    ReplyDelete
  72. That is NOT a backdoor. Wil played in the veto. When will these folks realize that? Argh

    ReplyDelete
  73. Hey Sue - send those cool temps to the midwest. It was 107 today!

    ReplyDelete
  74. LOL, petals... I just noticed your new look ;)

    ReplyDelete
  75. Hey there, SueGee. Hope you can stay later tomorrow for the live eviction party.

    ReplyDelete
  76. I thought that just because someone plays for veto, that does not make the safe ...they have to win it.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Monty - I had to. That whole fit he threw was soooo random & hilarious.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Hmmm,
Lima beans and lemons or garbanzo beans and giblets? I didn't like the first option.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Ha Petals...He surely looks the part.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Becky, my comment was to Shane. Ever since All-stars, the houseguests use the term backdoor when the original BD was Nakomis' six finger plan. If you get to play in the veto, then it isn't really a backdoor.

    ReplyDelete
  81. I will see you tomorrow night.

    ReplyDelete
  82. *Nakomis did it in S5 and she invented the backdoor. The term is used too loosely now. Just a pet peeve of mine, lol

    ReplyDelete
  83. Oh, okay, I misunderstood.

    ReplyDelete
  84. JoJo always looks angry.

OK.. so nothing really new. Thanks Jackie for keeping us up to date.

    See you soon!

    ReplyDelete
  85. Thanks for coming, everybody! Sorry I got the post up a few minutes late ...

    ReplyDelete
  86. Okay, got to go take the little one out to potty and then make something to eat (for real, not virtual). See you all tomorrow night!

    ReplyDelete
  87. I voted cereal & salmon, in honor of Willie. Now EVERYONE can have Froot Loops!

    ReplyDelete
  88. Thanks Jackie! See you guys tomorrow!
    (cleaning-up the bar area)
Leaving my floatie in the pool 'til tomorrow.

    ReplyDelete
  89. See you all later!!!!

Take care, Becky. Hang in there. (((hugs))))
