Big Brother 14: Power of Veto Show Blog Party - Aug. 15
ZING! It's just about time for the show to start! Come one, come all ... bring your drinks and snacks, we'll supply the comfy chairs! As the show airs here on the East Coast, I'll update this entry with major happenings. However, the real party is down in the comments area. See you there!
Finally, some action -- PoV Player picks - Frank - Jenn, Joe - HG Choice - Ashley (who's hurting), Wil - Boogie. Heh. Ian will host the comp.
The Zingbot has arrived! Ashley's smile is the only thing about her that's bright. Shane -- Zing's 5 year old niece called, wants pink tank top back. Brit gave her money to the charity, the Brigade. Joe - oldest man of the house, sorry Boogie ... didn't see you there. Ian, chemical engineering student, little chemistry with the ladies. Frank, Orphan Annie would 'preesh if you stopped using her hair. Danielle -- Shane will give you a special gift after the season, a restraining order!
Veto comp time. Stations with pipes, Zingcubator. Bring Baby Zingbot to life, build a pipeline, transfer an orb through it. Frank wins the Power of Veto and Zing Baby comes out.
Wil wants Frank to backdoor Dan and make a big move. He gathers his troops (Ashley and Jenn) to visit Frank. Ian plays the good little spy for the Quack Pack. But Boogie gives Frank the same advice as Ian -- too soon to backdoor Dan.
Veto meeting ...he follows Boogie's advice. He does not use the veto. Wil and Joe are both still on the block.
Jeff Schroeder (of Jeff and Jordan) will appear on Thursday's live show.
I'm first, YAY! Hi Jackie
ReplyDeleteHey, there Monty!
ReplyDeleteSitting on the edge tonight... catching a cold and don't want to spread the germies.
ReplyDeleteI brought Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy with lemons and orange slices. They're yummy!
Okay, where are all the swimmers at tonight?
ReplyDeleteSounds good. Hmm ... we seem to be off to a quiet start.
ReplyDeleteThat right there is the reason that they should vote Wil out. Frank, can't you see that?
ReplyDeleteMore for the two of us, LOL
ReplyDeleteWil also MIGHT win a comp. Joe is kind of hopeless in comps.
ReplyDeleteTrue!
ReplyDeleteI don't want you two to feel lonely.
ReplyDeleteHey, everyone. SPLASH!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that CBS is finally starting to show that the Shanelle showmance is a little one sided.
ReplyDeleteHmm ... it is weird that no one else is chiming in.
ReplyDeleteHey JimmyB and Becky. Grab a Shandy. So good!
ReplyDeleteHey, Becky and Jimmy!
ReplyDeleteHey Monty, Jackie, Becky...I think Shane is thinkin' more along the lines of "sister/brother"
ReplyDeleteI have the cornhole game on my phone from last season. It's fun!
ReplyDeleteHe has been Jimmy, but Danielle doesn't take hints all that well.
ReplyDeleteThere's "Dopey".
ReplyDeleteHere comes the Zingbot. I've seen a few of the Zings reported and looking forward to the rest. hehehe
ReplyDeleteI wonder if they will show the Zingbot having a heat stroke... doubt it!
ReplyDeleteWil doesn't have a poker face, at ALL!
ReplyDeleteWell, there's enough beer to go around the entire pool but with just four of us drinking it. Getting a little sippy here :)
ReplyDeleteBecky, looks like "Dopey" has dropped her Snow White alliance strategy and is going for a showmance with Frank.
ReplyDeleteZING
ReplyDeleteHi Everyone! Just got in. Forgot there was a show on tonight.
ReplyDeleteOh well pretty much know what happened anyway, but always curious how they will 'edit' things.
~~~ splish ~~~
ReplyDeletehey. Late. Sick. Tired. *yawn*
Have some awesome liquid cocaine cough syrup, hehehe
But never too tired for a beer, LOL
Hey everybody... I'm running late so have to catch up. Causing stress... has anyone seen the peace pipe? I left it by the pool at the last eviction party. If I can't find it, Monty may evict me... Petals... any confessions? : )
ReplyDeleteZZZZzzzzzziiiiiinnngggg
ReplyDeleteSurely they don't think this is funny.
ReplyDeleteFinally, hey Ed, Petals and Meb!
ReplyDeletePass me some of that cough syrup Petals.
ZING on Danielle, LOL
priceless...Delusionielle gets it between the eyes.
ReplyDeleteI had to back that up and watch it again, LOL
ReplyDeleteoh come on, Danielle - it isn't your first Restraining Order. Won't be your last...
ReplyDeleteWonder if they will show ZB falling?
ReplyDeleteThat's hilarious because the Zingbot was actually a female. Hmmm
ReplyDeleteUGH. I've missed two episodes, turn it on and the effing Zingbot. I've always hated the Zingbot.
ReplyDeleteOhhhh, she broke a nail.
ReplyDeleteI doubt it, Becky. CBS doesn't want to show their Zingbot having a heat stroke on their dime.
ReplyDeleteCBS should do a bachelor-type dating show with Ian. That would be hysterical.
ReplyDeleteAwesome music, lol
ReplyDeletePetals...funny.
ReplyDeleteWonder what a baby zingbot looks like??
ReplyDeleteMonty, Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy....cool!
I don't remember there being so much help from the sidelines in seasons past...or maybe they just didn't show it?
ReplyDeleteROFLMAO! Loved Britney's zing about Boogie.
ReplyDeleteCan't we have an America's eviction of Joe?
ReplyDeleteHi Joe. The Zingbot has become a BB tradition. This may be the last season for it since it/she almost had a heat stroke and the hamsters all saw that it was a she when she ripped off her costume.
ReplyDeleteHey Joe! Been missing your commentary.
ReplyDeleteI know Ed, right? Great summertime beer. Had a few this past weekend at Cedar Point.
ReplyDeleteWell, Ash, now I know you are strung out. You like zingbots.
ReplyDeleteOOOwww Danielle.... if looks could kill!
ReplyDelete~~~Splash~~~
ReplyDeleteHome from work and ready for a cold one!!! Hi to all!!
And I hope Zingbot is not Jessie again!!
SueGee on the left coast
Cedar Point Monty?. Great memories for me and loads of fun!!
ReplyDeleteHey Suegee, grab a beer. Yes, Ed! Great fun and awesome coasters. :)
ReplyDeleteDan's still my fave but Brittany starting to win me over a little.
ReplyDeleteBritney is doing a much better job at the entire game this season. She spreads her dirty little seeds all over the house. I know, I was ragging on her last week because of Janelle but I'm over it. She's playing a good game this time... better than last time.
ReplyDeleteIan is a toe walker. Has anyone else caught that?
ReplyDeletemust go 5o bed. gnite. see you guys 2morrow. xoxoxo
ReplyDeleteLooks like Ian has positioned himself rather well also within the groups.. if he can keep it up!
ReplyDeleteGood job, Ian!
ReplyDeleteDoes Danielle have bugs on her forehead?
ReplyDeleteFeel better, Petals. I think I have it coming on too. Good night!
ReplyDeleteYeah, Petals, take care of yourself. I will be hitting the bed early tonight.
ReplyDeleteFeel Better Petals!
ReplyDeleteIf I was Frank I'm not so sure I would totally trust the Boogie Man.
Ian is in a good spot, but his memory/knowledge is also his liability. I'd love to see him win it all. Just not sure that will happen if he doesn't start winning something.
ReplyDelete*or rather, win when he needs to.
ReplyDeleteyay, Dan!
ReplyDeleteAh, Joe...go wash your hands.
ReplyDeleteJoe can you speak up... I can't hear ya!!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good show tomorrow night.
ReplyDeleteThis was the mellow pool party tonight without the peace pipe. I'll see all of you fine folks tomorrow and will probably be doing cough syrup shooters by then.
Nite all!
Night all. See you tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jackie
ReplyDeleteThanks Monty for the Summer Shandy!
Nite All, Ciao
oops, forgot to say thank you to Jackie.
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming by, folks!
ReplyDeleteMan... still haven't seen it... My grandson came home with his first 'new' car... a 2006 Elantra... OK... may not be much, but he got it on his own, and while it isn't what he wanted, he really had no credit rating, and it was what he could get and afford. He's happy and it will help him build his credit.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I missed the party, but I need to see the Zingbot, cause I know it isn't Jessie, so I'm OK with it.
Later guys.
When will the players realize that the big move gets you a big target (unless the entire house is ready to see the person go, like Janelle)? Each season the evicted are bitter that someone didn't make a big move but the big move rarely pays off.
ReplyDeleteIt appears Frank's & Boogie's attitude about Ian (from the feeds)is that they accept Ian is smart; however, he hasn't won anything on his own, so they think any aptitude Ian has been for memorizing past BB seasons and talking about those seasons at length. Since he hasn't won HOH or POV, they don't seem to be worried about him at all... at this point.
ReplyDeleteIan appears to swallow anything Frank & Boogie spew out, but I'm hoping it's all an act and, IF Ian ever wins HOH, he'll run Boogie (or Frank) out.
