Come one, come all! It's the Thanksgiving Eve Survivor show blog party! As the show airs here, I'll update this entry with any major happenings. But, as always, the real fun is in the comments area. Come join the party!
Reward Challenge -- Divided into teams, getting drums face up while the other team is turning them over. The reward is a spa visit followed by a feast. Red - Abi, Carter, Malcolm and Pete. Yellow - Penner, Lisa, Skupin and Denise. Eep. Skupin flipped the wrong drum. Red wins.
Abi gloats and alienates. She also says she will cook no more, but they can cook for her. Malcolm, Skupin, Denise and Lisa make a final four pact.
Immunity Challenge time -- In rounds -- obstacle course getting a buoy to their post. Five make it through. Malcolm, Penner, Denise, Skupin and Carter moving on. Three moving on to the next round. Skupin, Carter and Denise are in the final round. Carter wins immunity!
Tribal goes against dear Abi. Too bad, so sad. She plays her idol. Malcolm doesn't play his.
Abi, Abi, Abi, Pete, Malcolm, Pete, Malcolm, Pete.
Buh-bye, Pete. You should have stayed away from Abi!

ReplyDeleteJoe, she has been really depressed. Today was really bad. Three of the other residents were down today too. I think it is people picking up residents to take home for the holidays. I would love for us to take Momma, but we wouldn't get her back, even if we could get her in our car.

ReplyDeleteOne of the ladies out there was crying today. She is one who comes to Momma's room and is always smiling and happy.
I stopped by her room and asked the nurse if I could talk with her.
I put my arms around her and asked her what was the matter. She wants to go home. I told her I know, Momma does too, but you are here to get better. She didn't want to go to the dining area but I talked her into it. I told her that Momma really likes her. I told her I had brought corn bread to go with her lunch. I talked her into going and her attitude picked up so much.
Petals Abi's been kinda quiet so I drank my beer anyway :))

The smart move is for the 6 to split between Pete and Abi to guard against the idol. If they vote out Abi alone and she plays the idol... On the other hand if they vote out Pete or Malcolm and she doesn't play the idol then she is in a power position next week.

Correct Joe. It was the smart thing to do. Now, if the alliance is smart they will do what they said and take it to final four. Malcolm put his trust in them and I doubt he will again, but I think it was smart to do it this TC.
