Although I'm getting this post up at the scheduled time for the show, that doesn't mean that the show will go on as scheduled. This time it's tennis. Grr. It appears the show will be airing almost an hour late. Grr.

McCrae is on the spot with his impromptu HoH. He decides to put up GM and Elissa, thus sparing Andy even though he suspects Andy of voting out Amanda. Judd won PoV. But we know all of this already! Judd does NOT use the PoV and Elissa gets the unanimous boot.
BUT WE ALREADY KNOW ALL THIS STUFF!
Finally, HoH comp time. PacMan themes abound. They get pixelated images of comps, have to figure who won and complete puzzles. Andy eliminated in the first round. Judd out next.

Spencer gets to give each of the others a "gift." Two get the gift of friendship -- GM and McCrae have to be tethered together for 24 hours. Gift of wealth to Andy -- chance to win up to $5,000. Gift of health -- 24 hours of hearing the drill sergeant and do exercises.
Who wants to see Spencer's HoH room? Judd gets a command in the middle of Spencer reading his letter from his girlfriend.
Andy gets to choose three piggy banks from dozens available. He wins all of $94.83. Heh.
Nominations ceremony time -- Spencer has already warned them ahead of time who's going up. The drill sergeant interrupts. Key order -- Judd, Andy. McCrae violated his trust, GM put him on the block.

I am voting for Elisa as AFP simply because she put up with more crap in the house than anyone else. But the corker is that it will p@$$ off all of the exterminators (especially Andy. I think Elissa's husband has too much class (and business sense) to actually punch Andy. I do think Weasel Andy will approach both of them with apologies and say "it was only game." In the last couple of days, HE has gone below the belt and torn Elissa's kids apart in the house. So I really don't think there will be any knd of forgiveness. If anything, I think they will both walk away and not dignify that Weasel with a reply.

As we all know from numerous posting throughout the internet, Warner has been having contract disputes with CBS affiliates and has blocked CBS's site to internet users, including the live feeds.

The key sentence, in my humble opinion is "has tried in recent years to push into the scripted realm". Each passing year our beloved Big Brother has become more and more overtly scripted. We watched with happy abandon and yet a sense of loss, as Big Brother Canada premiered for its first season this past winter. Happy abandon because we got a whiff of what Big Brother used to be like here in the US. However, the first few weeks of our Season 15 fueled a sense of loss as we were subjected to a constant onslaught of hate, bullying, racism, homophobic and misgynostic house guests. Although we are offended by the hate-speak, we know that it is a part of what is happening in the U.S. today. However, I think we are more offended by the Executive Producer and the production staff for not showing ALL house guests for who they really are. To single out one or two for public humiliation, when there were so many more, is unfair to the fans and the house guests both guilty and not guilty of hate-filled speech.
We have heard that this would be Alison Grodner's last season. Perhaps a change in the CEO and the Executive Producer will bring our favorite summer obsession full circle, and back to a show we love to watch. We can only hope the rumors of Ms. Grodner's "moving on" are true. Even the house guests have become more beligerent towards production, showing blatent disrespect with no punishment or penalty. Hopefully, they will recruit a new CEO, Executive Producer and Casting Director that will pay attention to what the fans are wishing for, and not continue turning over rocks to find disgusting wanna-be's!
So, shall we take an optimistic attitude, lift our glasses of champagne in a toast to a brighter future for Big Brother! Even when things look hopeless, hope springs eternal.
