Big Brother 16: Live Feeds Thursday Night/New HoH into Friday - September 5

The final five

Well, Christine's out, but we still have Frankie. Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Pushing My Buttons:
  • They're all amazed at the boos they heard when Christine walked out.
  • Cody is really worried that he'll be booed when he goes.
  • Derrick thinks America might hate her due to both the married woman hanging out all over Cody thing plus mean things she's said.
  • Spot on.
  • We just don't like her.
  • They noted the boos for Christine were louder than they were for Aaryn and her racially charged behavior/words last season.
  • They also thought that Ariana might be in the DE audience and led the booing. Nicole told them that she had been in the audience at the first DE.
  • Did you realize that Frankie has a famous sister named Ariana?
  • Did you realize that Frankie himself is famous?
  • Oh my.
  • BB let them in the ex-Have Not room. It's now all red and black "Game" print with a huge mirror on one wall and it has the pedestal with the button. The latter is covered with a plexiglass box.
  • The words 'The choice is yours' are flashing on a marque.
  • The feeds went to Jeff interviews and, on BBAD, Derrick sitting alone, as the HoH comp was played.
  • Sigh.
  • Frankie won HoH.
  • Sigh.
  • Wah.
  • Of course, Victoria will be the target.
  • Wah.
  • Derrick doesn't think she should be told until the very last moment.
  • Then they had the choice to push the button -- the plexiglass box covering it was gone.
  • Holla!
  • Even though Derrick was very reluctant, the peer pressure was too much.
  • They all pushed the button in unison.
  • They house blew up.
  • BANG.
  • Er, no. The marque changed to a countdown -- Five days, 19 hours, ten minutes.
  • They figure that would be Wednesday.
  • Derrick, Caleb and Frankie talked about being the final three.
  • It sounds like Cody will go on the block with Victoria. According to Frankie he'll put up the one who's most likely to put him on the block.
  • Well, yeah. That would be Cody. But I'd definitely want Cody to be in there longer than Frankie.
  • Holla!
  • Frankie told Derrick he might say he's going to put up Derrick as he's never been on the block.
  • But that won't be what happens.
  • Frankie doesn't care that his HoH will be "wasted" by voting out Victoria.
  • Derrick got his HoH basket. He didn't like the picture and didn't show it to the others.
  • Hmm.
  • Maybe he's a cop!
  • Then he makes it sound like it's something that might hurt his wife or daughter.
  • Hmm. I doubt we'll ever see that picture!
  • Then every time he or another mentioned his wife, we got blocked feeds.
  • Curiouser and curiouser.
  • Then Derrick went in and out of the Diary Room with a handprint, picture of Tenley and a letter/poem from his wife in which she said how much she loves him.
  • Huh.
  • Maybe it's something as simple as her being in her work clothes and exposing her company (against many rules with many companies) or something.
  • We just don't know.
  • They think it's better they all pushed the button at once.
  • They think BB figured someone would sneak in and push it.
  • Either way, there was a button. It would be pushed.
  • Zach's voice is shouting, "Holla! Froot Loop dingus!"
  • They also got Donny, Jocasta and Hayden hollas.
  • Can I get a HOLLA?
  • Frankie's room reveal was late.
  • They're all still awake as I post this.

Cody worries about being booed

Wondering what's in that room

Game - "It's your choice"

This can't be good

And, now he's HoH. Wah!

Do we really want to do this?

They all push the button

  1. This means the entire week will be for nothing, correct? Love it!

  2. I'm confused... does this mean that no one will go home, or the noms will come off and the others go up?

    ReplyDelete
  3. I think it means that they will play out the week but come wednesday it will all be reset and they will play the whole week over again on the live show. A week in a day like on a DE night. So just like how Christine went out last night someone else will Wednesday. If Frankie wins the reset HOH probably nothing will change but who knows, Victoria could win the reset HOH. LMAO

    ReplyDelete
  4. Does this mean Ariana and Frankie will back to irrelevancy?

    ReplyDelete
  5. Lmao....can't wait to see Frankie's face when the game is reset next Wednesday ....and pray he doesn't win the hoh that day and goes home.....now that will make for a good show

  6. You can bet the "twist" will not be anything that will hurt Frankie. CBS will see to that for sure. On BBAD last night Frankie running around in his little tight "undies" all night. Do not know how far they will let him go but looks like it is way FAR.

    ReplyDelete
  7. I really wish when they reset the week that Frankie wasn't eligible to play in the next HOH, but I'm sure that's not how it works. I want him to be evicted so bad so we can see his face when he gets booed.

  8. I think it is funny that the boos Christine got seem to be having more of an effect of the remaining houseguests than they did on Christine. It may be that christine was so shocked that her guys voted her out that she will have a delayed reaction to the audience booing her.

  9. I think I might be becoming psychic in my older years. Somehow I knew that Frankie would win the veto and the HOH, LOL. It's mean of me, but I loved Christine getting booed last night and really love that they heard it in the house and it's freaking them out.

    ReplyDelete
  10. They all pushed the button together.
So in effect it's just another unanimous vote and "what the house wants". (sigh)

    ReplyDelete
  11. I don't recall there ever being a season quite like this one where no one ever wants to take ownership of any moves. This unanimous crap is such a crock. I truly hope this will not be the way of things in future seasons.

    ReplyDelete
  12. I bet if (or when) Frankie leaves and the crowd boos, he will turn that into another "audition" act like usual. Doing something over the top with that stupid, fake smile of his. He just will not get it. Will have to read all the sites when he gets home to understand " America is just not into him".

  13. I didn't get to watch the show live last night and now I can't wait to get home tonight so I can see Christine's eviction! Was it priceless?

So, with Nicole's eviction (again) we have to say goodbye to Jo, Witt, Celticskye, and Tilda (again) and with Christine goes ReeseB0329, EileenH, Willie J, Ronda, and Rbennie. Hey, at least you don't have to go to the jury house with her!

As we head into the rewind week, here's where the pool standings are.

Stormy, did he have a potato stuck down the front? You know a "male falsie".

    ReplyDelete
  15. Were his undies any tighter than the tiny pair of blue shorts he wore for the live show?

    ReplyDelete
  16. Well, Frankie is convinced that the boos were because of HIM. Like, he even said several times that the Crust "obviously said mean things about me & my sister".
Uhm, Frankie? No - your sister really is irrelevant to us, if not to effing CBS.
Crustie's BOOS were really because she is one of the most despicable houseguests in recent history. period.

So the button means that this week is erased, and there will be a new HOH & new noms. So Frankie's current HOH is essentially dead air. LOL

To cap-off the Crust's exit, Roger Federer won his quarterfinal match! I was sleeping on happy clouds last night.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Wow, I hope this is true. There is a report that Crustie bolted offstage, demanded to be taken home & bypass Jury

  18. Wow! For Frankie it IS all about him all of the time! The last thing I want to see is Frankie in F2. However, if that does happen, these mindless HG's kind of deserve it. That's what happens when you don't take advantage of opportunities because no one wants to make "big moves". SMH.

    ReplyDelete
  19. OK - it wasn't true. But is sure was FUNNY!

    ReplyDelete
  20. Wow Petals. If this is true, I can't really feel sorry for her. She was certainly warned with the zingbot comments, but chose to ignore them. I hope when Frankie walks out there is a five-minute round of booing, LOL. He will still find ways to justify it though.

    ReplyDelete
  21. When Crusty gets to the JH I hope Donnie welcomes her with a great big "I told you so".

He warned her that she had no future with the boys
and that they would vote her out before any of them. He offered to work with her in an attempt to save himself. Instead Crusty went right back to the boys and told them everything.
She got what she deserved, including the boos.

  22. Down to the Final Five. I'm starting to get this ill feeling that 'Fakie' just may win it all. Hope not! Anybody but 'Fakie'

@ Petals; Roger is something else. Down 2 sets to love & comes back with 3 in a row, a true competitor!

BB needs to find house guests with the kind of spirit and will to win that Roger has. Now that would make for good TV.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Ed - OMG! I know!! I was eating my chair with worry. Then I saw the light go out in Gael's eyes, and the crowd roared and I was dancing like a wild woman around my TV.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Yes Petals Roger is a true champion & regardless what happens with NoJo that was quite a performance last night. IMO Roger is simply the best!

If only BB could find personality's like that. The will to win, to compete, that never give up attitude. Oh well BB is a different game.

    ReplyDelete
  25. RBennie, You're right that no one ever wants to take ownership of any moves. But wait until the finale--they'll be trying to take credit for every idea, strategy, event, eviction. Revisionist history at its finest.

    ReplyDelete
  26. If you miss Christine's cackle, go to YouTube and search for Will Hueser's latest, "Big Brother 16: The Saga ep.10". It's a musical ode to Donnie.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Ed said: "If only BB could find personality's like that. The will to win, to compete, that never give up attitude."

BB DOES find people like that. Just ask Caleb,

    ReplyDelete
  28. Why does Victoria think that being the last female in the house is some sort of accomplishment, or that now she is in a really good position to win? She has never won a comp that wasn't team based. And she is up against four guys who hang together incessantly, have won many comps, and have voted out every single female HG.

Victoria should feel like an endangered species at this point, and stop referring to herself as the BB Princess.
    She be nuts.

    Lili

    ReplyDelete
  29. Victoria is the last girl standing solely because she is Derrick's sure thing to winning. I know we call Caleb the delusional one, but he sure isn't the only one in that house.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Silk ~ I get your point about Caleb. But I have to say "Caleb - you sir, are NO Roger Federer"

    ReplyDelete
  31. Lili ~ yeah, I agree with you, Victoria as the "BB Princess" is a bit of a dubious honor this season, but what else can we call her?
It appears (to me) that it must be in Vic's contact to have Julie say, "Victoria you look beautiful tonight" at every live ep. Have you noticed that? Julie says it every live episode.
I have to say this, though: Regardless of what becomes of Vic now, I will always hold her in a higher regard because of how she treated Nicole these past 2 weeks. The Crust left Nic in the dust (twice), and everyone else treated Nic like yesterday's trash. But not Victoria, she had a heart, and friended Nicole to the end.

    ReplyDelete
  32. LOL Silk, Caleb yea he is quite the competitor when he goes into his 'Beast Mode' unfortunately its only in his own mind!

& Thanks for sharing Will's YouTube video. He's quite the impersonator.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I was glad to see Crustie go last night but her eviction was immediate.

She did not have to endure what Donny & Nicole had to put up with for a week. All the shunning & ridicule. Classless!

    ReplyDelete
  34. Petals,Victoria has got be a real handful in the diary room. Considering how she sobs on the feeds I can only imagine what she's like in private. They have to be aware of what an unbelievably insecure person she she is. Maybe Julie's compliments are just a way to try and help her keep it together.

  35. Two-minute eye-misting paean to Donnie: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O_8QmYLaY5Q

  36. I knew Christine wasn't going to get a roaring cheer like Donny and Nicole obviously, but I still can't believe that she got all boos...I literally did not hear one person clapping or cheering for her. That was pretty stunning. Granted she was a rather hateful person, but still, wow. I was impressed how well she handled that, although maybe she was still so shocked they voted her out. That trip to the jury house is going to be a long and lonely one for her, and she doesn't exactly have any friends waiting for her there. Rough.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Petals...can you refresh my memory? I believe everyone is eligible for the fan favorite award at the end of the season? My biggest fear is that Frankie and Caleb end up final 2, Donny wins fan fav and they claim he only won because they weren't eligible...I want them to get a reality check that they're not as popular as they think!

    ReplyDelete
  38. They've done favorite player and favorite juror both. In any case Donny will certainly be eligible.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Last season the phrasing was "favorite houseguest". The page is still up on the CBS website. It doesn't say anything about the F2 not being eligible. Not sure if that will be the case this season or not though.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Monty, I think what Anon meant was that if Frankie and Caleb were final two and Donnie won Favorite player, those two would claim that Donnie actually was only third in America's hearts, that he won only because THEY weren't eligible.

Because, after all, it's obvious (to them, anyway) that they are the real favorites, you know?

    ReplyDelete
  41. Just tortured myself by listening to the Jeff live chat with Christine. That girl is delusional and still believes a bunch of what she was told by the guys. She honestly thinks Frankie was running the house. They really did a good job of keeping her in the dark and poisoning her mind about the other players.

I missed the Nichole interview. Only caught about the last minute of it. I hope CBS posts the replay of the interview soon.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I know, Silk... but it doesn't matter. They will always blame something on anything and everything but what truly is. Delusional behavior and mindsets cannot be changed. :))

    ReplyDelete
  43. David, last Friday it was up before midnight on the CBS site. I can't wait to watch them tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Victoria for the win!
Yes she is everything that everyone says but she is not mean and vile. She being taken advantage of by Derrick using his emotional tactics as a cop. Yes she is falling for everything but compared to every other houseguest left, it would be total justice for her to win.
They would go nuts and that would be worth everything that happened this loooooooooser season.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Oh my, will they be surprised that Frankie's HOH and nominations will all be for naught. Too funny.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Well, I guess there was a surprise this afternoon when Jeff proposed to Jordan in the backyard.
It goes to show that nice people DO succeed.
Congrats to Jeff & Jordan - *cheers*
