Survivor: Kaoh Rong Blog Party - March 2, 2016
Survivor fans ready? As the show airs, I'll update this entry with the major happenings -- refresh the page to get the latest news! As always, the real party is in the comments area. Please join us there. We like snacks.
Lifeguard Laurie is running the pool, but that doesn't mean you can run around the pool. It's slippery, y'know!
Here are the random match-ups:
Chan Loh - Brains
Elizabeth Markham - Donna in FL, Terry is a Texan
Peter Baggenstos - Jackie, Tammy
Neal Gottlieb - Merrilee, JoyzJenn
Debbie Wanner - meb, Rbennie
Aubry Braco - Jennasmom, Glenn
Joseph Del Campo - Grandi, Petals
Gondol - Beauty
Tai Trang - Margo, anonymouse
Nick Maiorano - Laurie, ML
Anna Khait - monty924 , SueGee from the Left Coast
Michele Fitzgerals - Brian TCC, Kelsey NY
Julia Sokolowski - Indiana Jane, Nickelpeed
Caleb Reynolds - Ed in Ohio, Stephanie in Baltimore
To Tang - Brawn
Kyle Jason - Nana in the NW, Sharon N.
Alecia Holen - Becky, Donna NY
Scot Pollard - Delee, Pinky
Cydney Gillon - Leo Lionharted, PDX Granny
Torch has been snuffed:
Darnell Hamiltonn - free play!
Jennifer Lanzetti - David, Paula Bell
Let's get this party started!
Alecia tells Cydney she wants Scot to go. She seems to be barking up the wrong tree there.
Meanwhile, Tai wants to bark up the right tree and retrieve the key to hidden idol he knows is there. He gets what he wants -- the key to the idol and the idol. He kisses trees, the idol and he would kiss Caleb if he was there!
The idol is one part of a Super Idol. If he finds the second fitting idol, it can be used AFTER the vote is read. (A new twist going on there!)
On Brains, Debbie (the wackadoodle) wants to target Liz. She doesn't like Peter, but feels they need him for challenges. She's all secret agent gal around camp.
Beauty is thinking of killing one of their chickens for food. Caleb, the voice of reason (oh my), is thinking of how Tai will feel about it. The deed goes down with Tai holding the chicken for Caleb to chop off its head. Tai is accepting the fate but is sad anyway.
Anna trusts Caleb and Tai and wants to pull them in against Nick. She sees right through his fake smiles.
On Brawn, Scot is in search of an idol. Alecia is looking, too. Kyle (Jason) sees Cydney and Alecia searching. Heh. Cydney has Alecia go away and she gets the locked idol box similar to what Tai found at his camp. When confronted, Cydney tells Jason and Scot about the clue and they run off. Now Alecia's there as Jason finds the clue. All of them are off running. Scot and Jason are trying to get the key down. Jason snags the key when it falls.
Immunity Challenge time! They have to jump off into water, swim to boat, retrieve bags of rice, balance beams, search for balls in the rice, maze ... sheesh, just a bit convoluted! Reward is a choice for first place -- comfort or emotional items. Second place gets what first didn't choose.
Beauty wins first place! Brawn actually wins second place! It will be Brains going to Tribal. Beauty chooses comfort, so Brawn gets their emotional items. It might be emotional enough for them to not lose another member!
Peter thinks Neal will get the boot. He doesn't know that Secret Agent Debbie has been working against him. Or, his ally Liz anyway. Neal is suspicious. Peter thinks he's the one in charge. We'll see about that.
Debbie promises us a total blindside (either Peter or Liz). And, it's time for Tribal. Jeff asks his Probsting questions.
The Tally:
Aubry, Aubry, Peter, Peter, Liz, Liz. A three-way tie with a re-vote. Peter, Liz and Aubry cannot vote and the others must vote for one of them.
The Re-Tally:
Liz, Liz ...
Liz is out. Secret Agent Gal was right.
Mouse in the House! Hey Jackie.
ReplyDeleteI brought cannolis tiramasu and limoncello
ReplyDeleteHi Jackie, hey Mouse.
ReplyDeleteI wasn't running that fast around the pool Jackie, you didn't have to kick me out of the pool. =) Free Agent to root for who I want now
~*~*~*~*~*~*~ SPLASH ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
ReplyDeleteHey everyone!!
He Jackie, Mouse, Dave!!
I have a keg of Stella !
Pinky's in the pool!!
ReplyDeleteWhere is he going to hide it
ReplyDelete~~~SPLASH~~~~ Hi David, Mouse and Jackie!!! Thank you, Jackie for hosting us!!!
ReplyDeleteHey Mouse, David and Jackie. Tai got the idol...
ReplyDeleteGo Tai! But of course, he'll tell Caleb about his idol...grr
ReplyDeleteMONTY!! How are ya, friend??
ReplyDeleteAh, the super idol
ReplyDeleteWow
ReplyDeleteSuperIdol - neat idea
ReplyDeleteI wonder if they'll catch him?
ReplyDeleteHi Petals and Pinky!
Hey, Jackie, David, Petals and other who arrive. I have nachos with all kinds of toppings.
ReplyDeleteHey, Penny.
ReplyDeleteHey Penny! Hey Pinkie!
ReplyDeletePetals - haha. A keg!
ReplyDeleteHey, Petals!! Doing alright here for now :)))
ReplyDeleteHey Becky!
ReplyDeleteKind of cool idea for a super idol.
ReplyDeleteHave a Stella... *slides a frosty chalice down the bar*
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm pouring a Stella. Petals knows the way to my heart.
ReplyDeleteHi Becky!! How you feeling?
ReplyDeleteHi Monty!
Petals, been meaning to ask, how are your feet?
Hey, guys! No storms here this week although they're talking snow for overnight tomorrow night.
ReplyDeleteNOM! Nachos, cannoli & tiramisu mmmm
ReplyDeleteCool twist on the idol. I had thought of that a long time ago and always wondered why they didn't do that.
ReplyDeleteHi everyone else who has arrived. =)
Hi, Mouse, David, Petals, Pinky, Nickel, Homie Monty, Jackie, et al
ReplyDeleteHi Ed!
ReplyDeleteIs she kidding. She shuts up? REALLY??? LOL
ReplyDeleteToo soon to think you are in drivers seats
ReplyDeleteWe've had 60s & 70s every few days here...dry. I miss snow.
ReplyDeleteThat Brain guy looks too much like Obama. Thinks he's running the show? Hmph!
Under the radar? Geez, I hate see her when she makes a splash
ReplyDeleteThis woman kind of looks like the wicked witch of the west. LOL
ReplyDeleteJackie, the wind here has been awful the past two days. Scary wind...
ReplyDeleteHi Penny, Becky, Pinky and my Homie!!
ED! *sliding a Stella down the bar*
ReplyDeleteAwe, I really like Tai.
ReplyDeleteWe're suppose to get snow for the next few days. I need it to be dry, the wind has been terrible. It blew 15 shingles off my roof. Darn it!!!
ReplyDeleteMonty - we have record winds for weeks around here! Crazy.
ReplyDeleteI'd cry too. I can't stand any baby to die. A chicken & me on an island? The chicken would be eating Petals burgers!
Penny - I was just thinking the same thing (the witch thing)
ReplyDeleteThat poor woman...
My Anna scheming with BMC.... hmmm. I have to think about that one
ReplyDeleteSTELLA.....Got it Petals.....thanks!
ReplyDeleteI tried some of that "Not Your Fathers Root Beer recently....... something different I guess, but it can really kinda' sneak up on you.
The wind was bad here today, too. It's calmed down now.
ReplyDeleteNick looks kind of shifty. I do not blame her for not trusting Nick.
ReplyDeleteHoly cow, if she moves wrong, that Survivor scarf is going to fall. Geesh! LOL
Hard root beer, Ed? I was buying the brand I tried at Trader Joe's here. Unfortunately, the roof collapsed there during the bad blizzard. So, my source is gone. I'll have to go to an actual liquor store.
ReplyDeleteWe had high winds recently too. Now it's back to cold & snow....but next week 60's maybe 70!!!!
ReplyDeleteEd... NYFRB is the bomb, but it tastes just like regular root beer so it's very dangerous, LOL
ReplyDeleteYes Jackie 'Hard Root Beer. When I first tasted it I thought it was a soda pop!
ReplyDeleteYou are sooooo right Monty!
ReplyDeleteI really didn't like Not Your Father's Root Beer. Was a little strong for me. My husband hated it. We had to mix more root beer with it.
ReplyDeleteOh, Jackie... it's the best hard root beer ever
ReplyDeleteWe know Caleb is loyal to a fault so her pulling in him and Tai is actually a good move.
ReplyDeleteNow we are gonna' have a 'Super Idol'. Could be like a 'Beast Mode Idol'??
ReplyDeletePenny, it's the fact that when you get to the bottom of the bottle you realize it's booze. I think it tastes just like Barq's or A&W, lol. Funny how people taste things differently. :)))
ReplyDeleteOh great. These men are not very nice...but, it's the game. She should have never told anyone about the clue. How stupid. She is very clueless.
ReplyDeleteIt is, isn't it, monty? Considering, I'm used to drinking wine, so maybe my taste buds are more for that. LOL
ReplyDeleteYep, Penny. No brains on this tribe and the fact that they've done the wrong thing two tribals in a row sort of proves it. But Jenny did do it to herself last week so I'll cut them some slack on that one.
ReplyDeletePenny, you have mail in your box.
ReplyDeleteI hope the brawn team doesn't lose again.
ReplyDeleteMr. Petals loved NYFRB! But nearly $10/6pack. yeepers.
ReplyDeleteWeird & kinda funny how Brawn thinks they are so tough, but can't seem to win anything.
ReplyDeleteHaving not drank anything in over 20 years (got me in BIG trouble when I was young) I can taste alcohol in anything that has it, even foods and I usually don't like it.
ReplyDeletewow. What would YOU choose? I'd go with an inspirational item.
ReplyDeleteOT... Becky, you've had me on a pie baking roll this past week. Just pulled a cherry pie out of the oven. It will be cool in two hours, so if anyone wants to stop back by here later. He smells so good.
ReplyDeleteI have to pull for the Beauties here
David - wish you could give "not drinking" lessons to Mr Petals *ahem* LOL
ReplyDeleteMonty - NOM!!!
ReplyDeleteGo get 'em Cowboy!
ReplyDeleteCaleb is really good at these
ReplyDeletePetals, it's 11.99 for six here. I don't drink it and Steve can make a six pack last two weeks. If I drank it, it would be gone in one night.
ReplyDeleteCome on Beauty
I never thought I'd be rooting for Caleb, but he's really good at this.
ReplyDeleteThis is a BB challenge... Caleb can get them to do this
ReplyDelete$11.99 here too!
ReplyDeleteWOW, Beauty.
ReplyDeleteYou know, the Beauty tribe has a lot of brains, too.
ReplyDeleteHalf expect him to sit down
ReplyDeleteWOOHOO
ReplyDeleteBrawn are lugheads
ReplyDeleteBeast Mode!!!
ReplyDeletec'mon BRAINS!!!
ReplyDeleteLOL, high five Mouse. That was the one he sat down on :)))
ReplyDeleteMonty, I was trying to think which show I saw this. I first thought BB, but thought I was wrong. LOL
ReplyDeleteThink brain gets this given how much they've shown the jockeying
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteFinally Brawn wins something. Brains going to tribal. I should be interesting to see who will go home.
ReplyDeleteI hope they get rid of the "leader" (lol) of Brains
ReplyDeleteWouldn't bet in that
ReplyDeleteLol, yeah Penny, that was the challenge that he tried to throw so Frankie would lose and Frankie ended up winning it on his own against Donnie and Zach. That was crazy!!
ReplyDeleteyeah Mouse, prolly not. mep-mep
ReplyDeleteWouldnt bet on neal
ReplyDeleteAnyone taking odds on Debbie getting the boot? lol
ReplyDeleteI never understood why he didn't grab one end and then sit down
ReplyDeleteGoodbye Liz
ReplyDeleteBest laid plans.........................NOT!
ReplyDeleteGoodbye obama
ReplyDeleteI rreeeaaallly dislike the guy who thinks he is O... Peter. That's him. YUCK.
ReplyDeleteMouse - ^5 *sliding frosty chalice of Stella to you*
ReplyDeleteyum - tiramisu is GOOD
ReplyDeleteMouse, that was the worst blown challenge ever. He should have just tried to make it look like he was playing but throw it in a less obvious way.
ReplyDeleteI thnk it's going to be Liz
The better person to take out is the mouthy one.
ReplyDeleteI just hope the older guy is safe.
ReplyDeleteI like Neal
ReplyDeleteKeep your mouths shut
ReplyDeleteBRAINS...........maybe too smart for their own good?
ReplyDeleteNow I'm convinced it's Peter
ReplyDeleteHit Debbie with a question like you did Jennifer last week Jeff. lol
ReplyDeleteThis is crazy
ReplyDeleteNow he's gone
ReplyDeleteWow, that was the wrong thing to say. Peter says too much.
ReplyDeleteyeeeeeps! Grrr on Peeeter
ReplyDeletePeeeter is so crazy-egotistical!
ReplyDeleteDumb ass
ReplyDeletePeter just sealed his fate. Bye.
ReplyDeleteLOL, people burning their own bridges this season.
ReplyDeleteLiz or her partner
ReplyDeletePeeeter is proving that he is strictly book-smart. He has not a common-sense bone in his body. He must be a nightmare to work with.
ReplyDeleteEven more like Obama
ReplyDeleteLMAO Mouse!!! Right?
ReplyDelete:)
ReplyDeletewow - that smug smile melted
ReplyDeletePeter or Liz???
ReplyDeleteWhat is it with these ties?
ReplyDeleteThey kept him for the challenges
ReplyDeleteWOW. Don't get why they chose her.
ReplyDeleteWow. Thought he was gone for sure.
ReplyDeleteBummer. Well, He lost his ego-buddy. HAHA
ReplyDeletePenny, it was actually smart. They kept Peter and Liz from voting a second time and split that duo up. They don't trust Peter, but want to keep him around for the challenges.
ReplyDeleteWhy not someone else, like Debbie?
ReplyDeleteLove what Jeff told them. But Dr Pee won't listen. He is "too smart" for that.
ReplyDeleteThey kept an emasculated him for the challenges. (Another Obama reference)
ReplyDeleteSecret Agent Gal Debbie said early on in the episode that they need Peter for challenges and need to target his closest ally, Liz, to weaken his power within the tribe.
ReplyDeleteSorry, couldn't resist
ReplyDeleteI mean, I know why they picked Debbie over Pete. They need him for the challenges. But why not target someone else instead of Liz? Did they dislike her that much?
ReplyDeleteYep, Jackie!!
ReplyDeleteIt's the pair they didn't trust. Is he smart enough to realize he's now the swing vote?
ReplyDeleteBmc?
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting us, Jackie. Love coming here. Will see TAR people on Friday. Will not be here next Wednesday. I work the Fall Out Boy concert. So fun!!! Have a nice week!!
ReplyDeleteMouse, you're killing me here, LOL. Sorry, that's my one comment :)))
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jackie for the coolest place to hang out ever. I'll have cherry pie ready to dish out to all around 10:30. Have a great week everyone.
Thanks Jackie =)
ReplyDeleteEveryone have a great week. =)
the next ep must be the heat stroke...
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Jackie! I love you guys! Have a great week. XOXOXOXOXOX
Thanks for hosting, Jackie. Night all. See you Friday.
ReplyDeleteG'Night Gang!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jackie!
Ooops, I know why the picked Liz over Pete, but why didn't they target someone else? It's clear to see, Liz and Peter were clueless.
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming by!
ReplyDeleteDang, I'm going to miss the heat stroke show with you all. Well, thank God for DVRs.
ReplyDelete
