Let's get this party started!

We're starting off this week with Jeff telling us about the brutally hot weather at Kaoh Rong. Then we get a brief recap of each tribe's times so far. Fifteen are left. Who will be voted out tonight?

On Brains, Debbie thinks she should be called The Mastermind. Peter is still shocked. He thinks his tribe is no longer strong. Oh, well.

My gosh ... it's right to the Immunity Challenge! Racing through obstacles, digging under walls, digging for bags of balls, rolling the balls into holes on a platform. Reward is a huge array of spices, second place gets salt and pepper.

They're all digging for the bags of balls. The camera goes to slow motion and the sun. All are exhausted. Brains finally got the last bag of balls first. Brains win it while the other two tribes are still digging for bags. Beauty now has their three bags.

Debbie (the Mastermind) thinks she has heat stroke and the medics are called in.

Brawn finally have their bags and the game is on.  Beauty wins second place and Brawn will go to Tribal once again.

Oh. And, Debbie lived.

Now Caleb has passed out. Cydney is about to be next. The show's entire crew get called in to help the fallen. Oh, noes! Has Caleb died?!?! (We know he hasn't, but it's onto commercial.)

They're giving him fluids, but Jeff just called for the chopper. It's an evacuation! Caleb might be out of the game. Yep, Caleb is a goner as far as the show goes. Rats. I liked him here so much more than on BB. Tai is devastated as is the rest of his tribe. He's been the strongest on it.

On Brawn it's a kerfuffle between Alecia and Scot.

No Tribal and it's onto another Immunity Challenge. Race into jungle, climb up ladder, retrieve puzzle pieces. Two others dive for puzzle pieces.

Brains wins first place! Beauty gets second place and Brawn will go to Tribal.

Scot tells Jeff that Alecia has a zero chance of staying. Jason and Scot are willing to have Tribal right there, but Alecia balks. So, it's now onto the real Tribal Council. It sounds like a clear-cut decision to send her home.

The tally:
Alecia, Scot, Alecia, Alecia.

No surprises there. But now Brawn is down to three. Yikes.

Next week, it's Drop Your Buffs time. Whether it's the merge or a reshuffling, I don't know. But Brawn can't continue to go on with only three tribe members.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Sand reflects the sun, and digging in it is exhausting

    ReplyDelete
  34. my BIL in Florida ended up selling his landscape business because he was having so many heat strokes and he took every precaution. Serious stuff

    ReplyDelete
  39. Me too Monte - Green peppers make me burp!

    ReplyDelete
  49. I hope they gave all the tribes some water when they left

    ReplyDelete
  50. I agree. He was likeable this time around.

    ReplyDelete
  51. So maybe Caleb wins FanFave? Geeminy... CBS never put an update about an injured/removed Survivor. He's not dead, people.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Caleb was probably better behaved this time around because..............there was no Amber!

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  63. Maybe with that hot weather all of the challenges could have been in the water

    ReplyDelete
  64. But Braun is just helpless

    ReplyDelete
  65. I really don't understand the complete hatred of Alecia. I mean, she's a little annoying, but there doesn't seem to be any reason she needs to be at the bottom like that.

    ReplyDelete

  77. Was this the first week they separated the challenges?

    ReplyDelete
  78. Thanks Jackie! Have a great week everyone.

  79. Jeff, in an open mike forum, mentioned that there was a terrible car if bullying like he's never seen...Guess this is it. He was ashamed of it. Her teammates should be ashamed, too.

    ReplyDelete

  83. Sue - I think there was no Reward with the second Immunity Challenge because they had no TC.

    Thanks for coming everyone!

  84. Scott talks a good deal about being a team player, being in the NBA, and winning a championship. Here's the facts. In the 2007 season he signed with the Celtics. I think it was the fifth or sixth team of his career. He saw limited minutes during the regular season. He did not play at all during the NBA playoffs. In other words he did not contribute to his team' success and was nothing more than a cheerleader. He has a lot of gall complaining about what Alicia contributed.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Well, that was a shocker episode!
Never thought Caleb would go out so fast, and especially like that!
Too bad... unlike with BB, I liked him in Survivor.

    ReplyDelete
  86. I am so sad that Caleb went out like this. He was bearable and very likable in Survivor. My gosh, they are lucky they didn't lose any of them. Cyndie looked horrible. I wish Caleb could have come out of this. Very sad.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Just catching up now (!) So sad to see Caleb go! He's matured so much since BB and now seemed to be a valuable team player. I hope he gets a chance to come back next season. One thing I noticed during the multi-emergency is that the ER Doc was no where to be seen, unless I just missed him. I would have thought he would have jumped in to help since there were so many in need, but I didn't even see him in the background until everything was over. Hmmm. Next week should be interesting.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Well, I'm glad I avoided looking at this site last night. I binge watched 3 episodes. I cried pretty significantly when Caleb was taken out. Not bc he was my pool pick. I didn't like him much on BB, but I was proud he was my pool pick after watching a couple of episodes. I looked up a few articles written about him and his being pulled from the game. He was in hospital for 6 days. They said if he didn't have so much muscle he would be dead.

And what P*SSED me off more than ANYTHING was they killed themselves for COFFEE! Why did they fight so hard and not take better care of themselves for something as silly as coffee? SOOOOOOOO MAD and sad this happened.

    -STEPHANIE IN BALTIMORE.

  89. BTW, did you know Caleb took a bullying victim to prom. She said she was bullied physically and online since the 4th grade. Pretty nice story.
