BB18: Power of Veto Show Blog Party - August 31
Hamster watchers ready? Let's get this show going!
As the show airs here on the East Coast, I'll be constantly updating this entry. Refresh the page to get the latest news! As always, the real party is in the comments area -- please join in on the fun there as we watch the show together!
Sitting through the recap. (I'll be sitting through the whole show with a sprained ankle.)
Michelle didn't cry for the nominations. She's so proud of herself. Nicole wants Michelle gone, but seems uncertain which side she'll flow with after this week. James thinks that Paul is Nicole's target. She does nothing to let him know otherwise.
Corey is suggesting that he could bribe the veto winner, but he has no clue what he's going to do with the bribe.
Have Not announcement time! Slop. seaweed and squid. The first two who fell in the HoH comp -- Corey and Victor -- are the lucky ones.
Veto player picks:
Natalie draws Victor.
Paul draws Houseguest's Choice -- Corey
Michelle draws James
Michelle is suspicious because Paul picked Corey to play.
Paul and Victor hang out in the HoH room, sealing the deal with Nicole/Corey.
HoH Comp has a Christmas theme with live reindeer and all! They're elves who have to count everything in Santa's storerooms. They can stay or fold with their answers. They have to earn three candy canes to win. If they fold, they don't get a candy cane. If they're the furthest off, they're out.
Paul and Corey both fold. Victor out. James and Nicole each get a candy cane.
Corey, Paul and Michelle fold. It's between James and Nicole. James out. Nicole gets her second candy cane.
Corey throws it so Nicole can win ... answers a billion to names on list. Michelle earns a candy cane and Michelle gets her first candy cane.
Paul folks, Nicole wins her third candy cane and wins the power of veto in the last round!
Nicole is worried about keeping the best two competitors (Paul and Victor) in the house.
James is concerned that Corey and Nicole voted out Victor last week and now they're buddy-buddy.
Michelle has a pity party while Natalie applies make-up.
Paul tells Nicole that he's okay with being on the block and trusts her. But then he makes a proposal that Natalie goes up in his place. Nicole wonders if he really trusts her or not.
Veto meeting. She gives them both a chance to talk.
Michelle - Congrats on first veto. Do what you want.
Paul - Putting me on the block, not friendship. Taking me off, friendship
Nicole does not use the veto -- Paul and Michelle remain the nominees.
Hi Jackie and all... I brought the beer. What's our word tonight?
ReplyDelete~~~~SPLASH~~~~
Hi Jakie!!! MMMOOOOOONNNNNNNTTTTTYYYYYYYY lol
ReplyDeleteNicory that's like some bad pharmaceutical lol
ReplyDeleteJJJJOOOOONNNNNN
ReplyDeletelol
ReplyDeleteHey Jackie, Monty & JOOOONNNNNNNN!
ReplyDeleteI am too tired to stay for very long...Will try. Maybe I'll be energized when I

ReplyDeleteshe was proud she didnt cry that was funny lol
ReplyDeleteDrinking phrase: Not my first rodeo
ReplyDeleteLOL!
Paul, they're too stupid to screw you over at the end of the week. @@
ReplyDeleteLol, hey Petals
ReplyDeleteLOL That is sooo epic Monty leave the fools be and let them vote superfan outs lol
ReplyDeleteI am still a bit taken back they are not like at least touching base with them like we still good right lol
ReplyDeletewhy is he wearing that hoodie lol
ReplyDeleteHi Jackie and everyone!!
ReplyDeleteJon, because he's a tool
ReplyDeleteYes, Jon. It's weird - James is stuck so far up Natalie's psychotic butt, he can't see straight.
ReplyDeleteHi Cheryl
ReplyDeleteLOL that he is Monty that he is, instead of favorite player we really should have biggest tool of the season lol
ReplyDeleteHopefully they will be like WWWWWHHHHATTTT and be all shocked on Thursday with the vote lol
ReplyDeleteVictor has great DRs too :)))
ReplyDeletethese have nots got screwed llol
ReplyDeleteThis is depressing. I have to sleep.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are mending, Jackie. Stay seated, elevated, and all that RICE jazz *wink*
Ciao XOXOX
Take it easy Petals :)
ReplyDeleteHi Joe.
ReplyDeleteNight Petals... see you tomorrow night. Sweet dreams!!
Yeah you keep eating that sandwich James like you threw that comp lol
ReplyDeletejackie quick question off topic how long did it take for u to recover from ur knee replacement surgery
ReplyDeleteThis is a weird season. Other than the somewhat odd (to me) absolute Paul hatred, these hamsters have all sort of been floating along as frenemies with no real hard alliances but a bunch of duos. Been kind of boring.
ReplyDeleteG'night, Petals. Isn't it only 7:00 in MIssouri?
ReplyDeleteHey Joe
ReplyDeletegn Petals
ReplyDeleteExactly, Joe. There have been so many duos that real sides were never drawn. All three of the remaining duos all say that they are playing the middle. WTH?
ReplyDeleteWhat is it with these catty girls. They are so blinded by their dislike of each other they can't see the big picture. Michelle has won only 1 thing all season. She should be easy to beat in the future or a good goat to take to the end. Nichole is a fool in more ways than one.
ReplyDeleteGood Evening everyone =)
Hope you are well on your way to mending Jackie.
Jo - It was a while. At about three months for each I was thinking it was such an improvement over pre-knee replacement. It's not an easy recovery. I was walking within a few hours, technically.
ReplyDeleteSweet baby Jesus lol
ReplyDeletek cause i might have to have 1 and wanted to hear from somebody who went thru it
ReplyDeleteHey David
ReplyDeleteShe's NOT a superfan
ReplyDeleteHey David
ReplyDeleteJackie, rest and relax? Have you been able to go to work?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the updates and dedication to those boring feeds.
Hey Joe..... I got your book on my kindle
ReplyDeleteMouse finally in the house, watching off DVR, playing catch up.
ReplyDeleteLOL That is fn funny
ReplyDeleteOMG, go Big Brother. Now they're giving Corey to dingbat edit
ReplyDeleteHey Mouse
ReplyDeleteCorey is a doofus
ReplyDeleteLOL
ReplyDeleteWell we know James goes
ReplyDeleteOh my he is going to "throw" it
ReplyDeleteLMAO... okay that deserves a DRINK
ReplyDeletelol
ReplyDeleteWhy didn't corey bribe his way off have not
ReplyDeleteHey, Jackie and fans. I am not even going to try and name everyone tonight. I had the dickens getting on AOHell tonight. What is the drinking word. I need to say it real fast. Going back to try and catch up on the reading.
ReplyDeleteHe couldn't Mouse. BB chose the Have Nots this week.
ReplyDeletetbc - I'm off for the next few days.
ReplyDeleteBecky, I think we're just free drinking when we want to tonight, LOL
ReplyDeletedrinking phrase sure is not "Corey is a member of mensa"
ReplyDeleteWell, we would all sober up quick tonight, Jon :)))
ReplyDeletea billion. Best answer ever
ReplyDeleteBoth Nicole and Natalie's voice is grating these days
ReplyDeletelol@ best answer ever
ReplyDeleteding fries are dooooonnneeeee lol
ReplyDeleteFirst, Jackie, I had no chance to see about the update from you. Just do the best you can. If you aren't up to staying up to update, forget it.
ReplyDeleteMonty, I share your feelings about Corey. If he had a brain cell he would take it out and play with it.
Don't trust anyone 100%, Victor
ReplyDeleteGood, Jackie, I'm glad you'll have time to rest
ReplyDeleteHey, Monty, Jon, Becky, Petals, Cheryl, Joe, Jo, Jackie, Mouse, tbc and all!
ReplyDeleteIf only she would have followed through with that... sigh
ReplyDeleteHey Judi
ReplyDeleteHi Judy
ReplyDeleteGotta run across the street real quick. BRB
ReplyDeleteHey, Judi, how are you?
ReplyDeleteNow Paul goes to work
ReplyDeleteListen to her....
ReplyDeletelol
ReplyDeletejames is going to be hurt when Nic votes out Michelle cnd not Paul
ReplyDeleteAnd Petals is missing this... she'll kick herself
ReplyDeleteSuperffffaaannnn
ReplyDeleteYou going home girl thats whats going on lol
ReplyDelete"it's my partyyyyyy" lol
ReplyDeleteDRINKING
ReplyDeleteOh God!!
ReplyDeletethat was epic with the hashtag lol
ReplyDeleteand Ill cry if I want too...lol
ReplyDeleteOne billion %
ReplyDeleteHi Cheryl,
ReplyDeleteWhich book?
I'm doing good tbc...
ReplyDeleteDredging through all these blindfolded Showmances! Ugh...
that was funny
ReplyDeleteJon, I missed the hashtag... what was it?
ReplyDeleteNicole really should have taken out Paul or Victor. Nicole/Corey against James/Natalie, advantage NicCorey. Nicole/Corey against Pictor, advantage Pictor.
ReplyDeleteIt's also rather silly to get out the one single to keep a 3rd couple in the house unless you REALLY trust a second couple. One duo is going to be on the outside looking in. We're really sort of at a final 3 already only with couples.
Nicole would be the whiniest winner in game show history. Oh my God....
Joe... When Deam and Day Unite....I didn't see the other one on Amazon.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read much yet....but it is interesting so far...kind of out there:-)
How does Meech get through the psych evaluation? If I were vetting such people, I would always be worried about doing permanent damage to someone as fragile as she is. Could you image what would have happened to her if ED were in the house instead of this collection of milque toast couples
ReplyDelete#sadmichelle I think that's what it was lol
ReplyDeleteNicole channeling Madonna with that outfit
ReplyDeleteNichole is so damn cute
ReplyDeleteThe 80's Madonna
ReplyDeleteI never get how any of these people get past the evaluation i mean who is giving those test lol
ReplyDeletethat's harsh Monty lol you know i am an 80's nerd lol
ReplyDeleteNichole, just because someone says they would like to take you out of the game doesn't mean they can or will be able to. You are a fool if you don't take out Paul.
ReplyDeleteAnd then he didn't get busy, UGH
ReplyDeleteshe is morphing in to Christine lol
ReplyDeleteOhhh James you silly boy
ReplyDeleteLOL @ JJJJJJOOOOOOONNNNNNN
ReplyDeleteI was a 70's and 80's teen :))
I'm back. Yeah, use your brain. Corey's dumbness is rubbing off.
ReplyDeleteI am so tired that I forgot to enter my comment before I meant the neighbor in the middle of the street. While emptying closets I four our daughter's old doll crib. She is 55 now, so the bed has to be at least 50 years old. Our daughter did not want it and told me to throw it away. I told her I would bring it and she could have tossed it. The neighbor is thrilled. Her granddaughter will love it.
Jackie, thank you for sharing. We am almost finished with our project, so hopefully I will be able to rest then.
None of these girls would have survived ED
ReplyDeleteThanks Jackie =)
ReplyDeleteHope your time off lets you heal completely.
Everyone have a great night.
That's mostly all I listen to in the car and home is 80's wa wa waaaaaa lol
ReplyDeleteCannot wait for my pool girl to get the ace
ReplyDeleteAxe
DeleteThe joke is that all the "couples" are really playing the same game. Floating to the power couple in a final 4 deal. If they just projected themselves onto the other couples, they'd recognize that they couldn't trust anyone else...85% or otherwise. Let me RE-do the math for you James, you can 50% trust Nicole/corey - it's either you and Nat or Paul and Victor. Probably depending on who wins HOH this week.
ReplyDeleteThanks and take it easy and rest up. Everyone, have a great night!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming by!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jackie as always flr hosting! Get some rest..feel better!!
ReplyDeleteHey Joe..going to try to finish that book this weekend!
Have a goodnight all! See ya tomorrow.

ReplyDeleteHave a great night, everyone! See you tomorrow night.
ReplyDeleteThanks again, Jackie!
Have s great night everyone... See you tomorrow!
