Survivor: Millennials vs Gen-X Blog Party - October 5

They're promising a huge twist in the game tonight. We'll be the judge of whether it's good or bad! Later on tonight, I'll be live-blogging the BBOTT CBS All Access show. My apologies for no BBOTT yesterday.

As the show airs here on the East Coast, I'll be live-blogging with the major events.  As always, the real party is in the comments area. Please feel free to join in on the fun!

Here are the blog pool matches the Lovely Lifeguard Laurie randomly chose:

Millennials - Vanua Tribe
Adam Klein - Brian, Kelsey NY, Sharon N
Jessica Figgy Figueroa - Donna in Alabama, Laurie
Justin Jay Starrett - Becky, Jackie, Shayne
Michaela Bradshaw - Donna in NY, Krysta G, Pinky
Michelle Shubert - Ed in Ohio, Nickelpeed
Taylor Lee Stocker - Donna in FL, Janice from GA, Stephanie in Baltimore
Zake Smith - Beachmom, monty924, Glenn
Will Wahl - Cheryl, Indiana Jane
Hannah Shapiro - David, meb, Terry is a Texan

Gen-X - Takali Tribe
Bret LaBelle - Brandi Peralta, Judi Sweeney, Skyriverblue
Ciandre CeCe Taylor - Anonymouse, Merrilee
Chris Hammons - Cheryl in NC, Jennasmom, Lanell from TN
David Wright - Buzzmaam, MikesGirl, Sharon C
Jessica Lewis - Cupcake, Jean, Petals
Ken McNickle - Dolores in Hollywood, Margo, Russ
Lucy Huang - Delee, ML
Paul Wachter - ChickMc, PDX Granny
Sunday Burquest - Brenda, Kristen from Ohio, SueGee

Out
Rachel Ako - As first boot, her blog pool people have been reassigned.
Mari Takahashi - cwcamper, Marthalight

Survivor fans ready? Eighteen are left. Who will be voted out tonight?

The Kids: Zeke and Adam try to make nicey-nice about them being left out of the blindside vote of Mari last night. Hannah tells them that Michelle told her to vote with the majority and she didn't know before Tribal. Hannah won't leave Zeke alone. Adam is worried about having to play up from the bottom. Zeke just wants Hannah to leave him alone for a while. I don't blame him.

Older Kids: David knows it's him, Ken and CeCe at the bottom. Of course, he does have an idol. Paul is feeling 100% once again. But he goes fishing as an expert and catches nothing but a wave.

Tree Mail -- They have to do a random draw of rocks. The Orange rock recipients Will, Figgy, Jay and Taylor get to go do "recon" on the other tribe at a Summit. CeCe, Paul, Chris and David go as the Older Kids. Paul started thinking the kids would love him as a father figure. David hopes he can use kids after the merge to get rid of Paul. David had a good talk with Taylor, but he promised to betray his own tribemates. Will that go over well? CeCe and David both talked to Figgy and Taylor about the perils of Paul.

Older Kids: Ken, who doesn't like to be called Ken Doll, goes fishing and (unlike Paul) catches fish. He talks to Jessica about Paul. But she thinks her commitment to the others is best for her own game.

Kids: Taylor feels all comfortable with his Figs. Adam is worried about his own status with the tribe. He tries to talk Michaela and Hannah into voting out either Figgy or Taylor next Tribal. Michaela, sort of like Jessica, prefers the idea of sitting in with the majority players at this point.

Immunity Challenge time! Carry heavy bags over and under obstacles, over a balance beam, knock down a puzzle with the coconuts from the bags, then put together the puzzle. Reward is comfort items.

The Kids -- Millennials -- win Immunity and Reward!

The Kids want to switch comfort for fishing gear. Gen-X don't want to switch. So the Millennials are stuck with comfort items.

CeCe's poor performance in the challenge might have put more of a target on her back. Paul is certain it will be unanimous (so it probably won't be). Bret agrees. So does Sunday. Hmm. While she did poorly, Paul wasn't any rock star in the comp! At least she carried her own bag. Ken, David and CeCe are thinking Paul should go.

Aha! Paul's own mouth got him in hot water. Lucy and Jessica are considering voting him out!

Tribal Council time with Probsting questions of the castaways. Paul feels little anxiety because of his six.

The tally:
Paul, CeCe, Paul, CeCe, Paul, CeCe, Paul, Paul ... five, it's enough. They flipped the vote!

Paul is voted out!

Penny has joined the ranks of Beagle moms! :) (you already knew that, tho, huh?)

Figgy - if you kept it in your pants, you may not be such a target!

    ReplyDelete
  8. Actually she needed to keep it out of her pants

    ReplyDelete
  9. Hi everyone!

I have gluten-free pepperoni pizza tonight. Try it, you'll like it!!

    ReplyDelete
  10. Hannah pissing both sides off

    ReplyDelete
  11. She's a pistol, Becky. My daughter and I went to a quiet dog park and let her dog, Billie, play with Belle. It tuckered her out. A good Beagle is a tired Beagle. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  12. Jeepers, does she listen at all? LOL

    ReplyDelete
  13. Yep, Petals. And she is a beauty.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Any tired dog is a good dog...LOL. Especially at 3 a.m.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Hannah could be in trouble. She just doesn't know when to stop.

I think Adam and Zeke will work their way back up. Hope they are not on the bottom now.

  16. Totally off topic:
Hello everyone. Feeling pretty fortunate tonight as my family celebrated our mother's 91st birthday with her this afternoon. She wanted Chile Rellenos and Flan. She feasted on both!!
So thankful to still have my mom and know she is happy and alert.
Now back to our regularly scheduled program.

  17. Hi TBC! Gluten-free? I think my body is 70% Gluten LOL

    ReplyDelete
  18. Penny, you are so right. I love those Beagle eyes. They tell you that they are starving to death -- even right after they ate a bowl of food or a pair of shoes, or used kitty litter! That's when I learned about salt free French cut green beans.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Laurie - Great photos you shared! I'm so happy you're getting to have times like those with her!

    ReplyDelete
  20. Laurie, enjoy every moment with her! Is she still as sharp as she was?

    ReplyDelete
  21. Nice, Laurie! Happy 91st to her. God bless!

    ReplyDelete

    She's probably next.

    ReplyDelete

  26. Young ones go to the 'elders' but not vice versa

    ReplyDelete
  27. OMG!! Mr. Anxiety was selected!!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Sorry that I got off topic. Nah, to be honest I am not. Paul is amusing, but a big bore.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Is this a twist, could be the new tribe?

Talking way too much. That's pretty bad.

Of course Dave is a sly sleezy rat.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I like my pool pick, too.
Dillweed ... *smh* seems to always say the wrong thing. He angers me.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Don't care from Scaredy Pants either.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Becky, Belle's not too in to veggies like my other dogs. I'll give her something and she'll look at me as if I'm crazy. LOL. But, yep, those eyes tell me all the time, she's hungry. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  33. I dunno. David is growing on me some. At least he's not a braggart! He has made fire without flint and found an idol. I think he observes a lot, too.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Didn't they just pull rocks? This isn't a "selection", it was random.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Jackie, how are you doing?

    ReplyDelete
  36. I like Will & Jay. I hate their alliance.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Sorry , Petals, I used "selected"because I thought David did.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Dang!!! What is on her back??? It looks like toddlers attacked her with magic markers

    ReplyDelete
  39. Geeeeeesh... These brats are just on vacay. @@

    ReplyDelete
  40. Dang it, I just stepped on my puppy. She went right between my feet and I stepped on her leg. Crap. Think she's okay though. :-(

    ReplyDelete
  41. LOL about the magic markers, Petals.

Dillweed ... *smh* seems to always say the wrong thing. He angers me.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I agree about the "widdle" ones. They are on another planet.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Hello Everyone. =)

Been lurking while doing other things. lol

Hope you puppy is ok Penny. My dog when a puppy learned the word move pretty fast when he was young just for that reason, not to get stepped on.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Seems there's always a weak link

    ReplyDelete
  48. Jeff needs to shut up. He has such a big mouth. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  49. Gen-X needs to pick it up. Wow. They needed to do just like Mils.

    ReplyDelete
  50. The wuddles are morons if they ever send Taylor packing

So I guess he's in danger

    ReplyDelete
  51. tbc - no! Dave actually said he'd been "selected" and I think Taylor mentioned that they'd been "chosen".

    It wasn't you. xoxo

    ReplyDelete
  52. Gen X won't catch up. They are so far behind.

    ReplyDelete
  53. I'd love to see Taylor gone. That attitude must eat more than the rest of the tribe combined.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Crap. Mils are going to win. Dang.

    ReplyDelete
  55. so that old rocker guy will go. *sigh*

    ReplyDelete
  56. What? If they were their parents, they'd say yes? Wow, pretty cocky.

    ReplyDelete
  57. CeCe should go home. Wasn't this a new challenge?

    ReplyDelete
  58. "If they were our parents, they woulda said 'yes'"???? THAT is exactly what is wrong with your generation, you lazy libtard.

    ReplyDelete
  59. I think it will be CeCe, Petals. It should be.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Monty never came? :( MISS MY FRIEND!

    ReplyDelete
  61. Really late tonight. Hello everyone!! I didn't miss Tribal Council... that's a plus. So without reading the comments, who's going?

    ReplyDelete
  62. My daughter (age 20) just said, "you guys wouldn't!!"

    ReplyDelete
  63. LOL, Petals... our comments crossed cyber paths :)))

    ReplyDelete
  64. Grabbing a STELLA from Petals

    ReplyDelete
  65. Maybe they aim for David and get an idol

    ReplyDelete
  66. ANDRE AGASSI! (whenever I am thinking of someone and they magically appear, I scream Andre Agassi, because...well, maybe I'll get lucky)

    Hey Monty!

    ReplyDelete
  67. Hey Homie... always GO BUCKS!! Hey Penny

    ReplyDelete
  68. lol TBC @ your daughter.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Well, my personal opinion is they should have done like the Mils. Let someone else do the harder part. But, no. They each did it themselves.

    ReplyDelete
  70. I think they are gonna target the "old" guy...that is always the easy play when a tribe is floundering.

    ReplyDelete
  71. ohman, she is my pool pick. She looks like her face is allergic to her eyeballs.

    ReplyDelete
  72. That may be the most honest and stupidest thing anyone's ever said on Survivor. LOL. Paul, Paul, Paul...were you thinking at all?

    ReplyDelete
  73. Looks like it will be Paul, or will it?

    ReplyDelete
  74. That's a good decision for the women. Maybe it'll be a blindside. Cici's very weak, though.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Petals she got a blast of sand to the face when the evacuated them. Didn't she say she had a bacterial infection in both eyes now?

    ReplyDelete
  76. Alright, who's going to say the wrong thing. Look at Dave's reaction. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  77. yeah, Monty - she did get an eye problem. But dang! Poor thing - she looks just...infected.

    ReplyDelete
  78. LMAO!!! Penny- when I first glanced at your last message, I
thought you'd written, "look at Dave's erection LOL"

    HAHHAHAHA

    ReplyDelete
  79. Don't get rid of Ken(doll)

    ReplyDelete
  80. AGree, Tbc - I love Ken!

    ReplyDelete
  81. Well, as far as the language, Mils are destroying our language. How do these kids get in to college. I'd like to see their essays. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  82. I don't mind Paul, but maybe there should be a shake up.

    ReplyDelete
  83. But if they took out paul the girls would control the 5

    ReplyDelete
  84. I like Ken. He is a hard worker.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Dillweed playing smart! He doesn't need that idol tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  86. I have to go back now and watch the entire episode. What did they have against CC?

    ReplyDelete
  87. He is blindsided. CeCe needs to step up her game.

    ReplyDelete
  88. YES! That changed it up. It might be a mistake, but we'll see what happens. WOW. Blindside

    ReplyDelete
  89. Yup!

Hope none of our group are in the target of Hurricane Matthew - if so, STAY SAFE!

Thank you so much, Ms J & Mr V.

    XOXOXOXOXOOX

    ReplyDelete
  90. CC is very slow. She took forever on the challenge, which probably helped them lose it.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Monty I think it was that CC was so slow in the challenge

    ReplyDelete
  92. Monty - CC slowed them down on the immunity challenge. WAY down.

    ReplyDelete
  93. Why is it that this hour flashes by?

    ReplyDelete
  94. See you next week Petals.

Thank you so much Jackie and Vincent. Always enjoy this.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Have to tell you all. Belle loves the TV. She watches it with things that interest her. She'll bark at other dogs and cats and stands still when food is on. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  96. Thanks Jackie =)

For those not coming back in an hour for the BB feeds shows, have a great week.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Thanks, Penny. I missed it all until I showed up tonight. Busy with laundry and packing for a weekend trip and it just slipped my mind.

Thanks Jackie. I hope the BBOTT'rs will be watching later for the live eviction. See you all later.

    GO BUCKS

    ReplyDelete
  98. I agree with Petals. If you are in the path of the storm, stay safe. If they say leave, do it.

Jackie, thank you for hosting. Later.

    ReplyDelete
  99. I don't think Paul got voted out due to the age factor. I think it was his fault for having a big mouth and also thinking he ran the place.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Yes, please stay safe, friends. I agree with Becky, leave if they tell you to leave. We want you all back next week.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Yes, I agree, Jackie. Paul had a big mouth.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Thanks for the party last night. Had to run afterward to get the doggies outside for the nightly "ritual".
