Celebrity Big Brother: Live Double Eviction Show Blog Party - Feb. 23

As the show airs here on the East Coast, I'll be updating and live-blogging away the best I can. Refresh the post to get the latest news! For more information on how I'll be handling this season on the blog as well as the show schedule, check this post out. As always, the real party is in the comments area -- join on in!

ALERT! ALERT! - Survivor: Ghost Island starts up next Wednesday! The blog pool is open but you need to sign up for it ONLY ON THIS LINKED POST. Requests not on that post might be missed. And, I don't think y'all know how annoying it is that every season people regularly in the pools want in after the deadline. If you want in on the blog pool, go to the post and sign up before the deadline. Please!

The recap ended and Julie tells us there are more alliances in the house than houseguests left in the game. She's so right about that!

Mark wants Brandi gone out of the Brandi/Ari nominations. We get the standard "I have to win veto" speeches.

Omarosa, like both Mark and James, wants Brandi out. James tells Ari that Brandi is the target. She's worried that Brandi will win veto.

Time for Omarosa's obligatory White House moment.

Veto Player random picks -- Mark got who he didn't want -- Omarosa. Brandi also got her nemesis James. Ari got Marissa.

Ross isn't playing his hand too well with Ari. Hmm.

Julie tells the house it's a double eviction. But they knew it had to happen.

A segment on Brandi acting out. She even dared people to say something bad about Julie. Then she decides to poke at James. She is right when she says he can be super cocky.  Then Brandi gets upset at Marissa for not standing up for her.

PoV Comp -- compete one at a time at a secret location, then to HoH to watch the others compete. A BB Toy Company, action figure faces don't match the body. It's a morph type comp.

Omarosa up first. She tells us she doesn't want to win this veto and deliberately messes up. 38.52 minutes. She tells Ross that she thinks she should be the choice for a final two with him.

Ari up next. 9.10
James is up. Disqualified after he went past Ari's time.
Marissa is up. Disqualified after she went past Ari's time.
Mark is up. Disqualified after he went past Ari's time.
Brandi is up. Disqualified after she went past Ari's time.

ARI wins the Power of Veto!

Brandi wants Omarosa to be put in Ari's place. Mark isn't sure. He still wants Brandi out.

Mark tells James that he's nominating Marissa -- twofold in reasoning. He wants Brandi out and fears if he puts up Omarosa then Brandi might not be voted out. Plus Marissa has never been on the block.

Veto Meeting time -- Ari saves herself. Mark puts Marissa on the block.

Live Eviction One time --
Marissa - Won't campaign against Brandi, cancer survivor, love to family
Brandi - Amazing friendships, love a lot of you, hope Ari wins, shocked Omarosa and I get along.

The votes to evict:
James - Brandi
Ari - Marissa
Ross - Brandi
Omarosa - Brandi

No surprise here. Brandi is out. She was very good with Julie.

HoH Comp time - HG had the time to study works of art knowing they might be part of a comp. Sequestered in separate rooms. BB Auction. Questions on what they studied. True or False. Seven questions, point for each right.

Tiebreaker between James and Omarosa.

OMAROSA is the new HoH!

Live nominations -- Omarosa nominated Ross and Marissa.
Oh my.

Live veto comp! Art-Rageous. Six paintings, a replica in each of six rooms ... one not an exact match. Incorrect, eliminated. First one right wins.

ROSS wins the PoV!

The Veto Meeting. Ross saves himself. Omarosa puts James on the block with Marissa.

Live Eviction Two:
James - NO fun campaigning against Marissa. Consensus is no one can beat her in a final two. Keep me.
Marissa - Better chance of getting you to that final two!

Votes to evict:
Ari - James
Mark - Marissa
Ross - James

Buh-bye, James. He was cocky with Julie.

Sounds like they'll play an HoH before Sunday's show. Tomorrow is clips at 8pm ET/PT but the HoH will "start." (Probably not live.)  I'll let you know what happens in a feeds report tomorrow.

  4. Hi Joe! Double eviction night should be interesting1

    ReplyDelete
  5. Eh, Joe. Ask me after I've sat blogging this for two hours! But, thank you for asking.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Hi Monty! Ross really did make deals with everyone!

    ReplyDelete
  7. I'm still rooting for Ross but Ari has really surprised me with how smart she is with these people and the game. Love her.

    ReplyDelete
  8. I don't know why they want to diminish Omarosa. Whatever you might think of her politics or personality, she's a very smart, determined woman. Back on the original Apprentice, before it morphed into Celebrity Apprentice, they had very qualified business people on the show.

    ReplyDelete
  9. So funny how they do those DR confessionals after the fact, LOL

    ReplyDelete
  10. This has been a weird season. In some ways, these HGs have played harder and smarter than a lot of the 20-somethings that are usually in the house. On the other hand, a lot of them have quit!

    ReplyDelete
  11. Agree Joe, but I've been anti- Oma since that first season of The Apprentice. Just never liked her backstabbing at any cost approach. Just me though. :))

    ReplyDelete
  12. Hello Jackie and everyone as well as Mmmmooonnnntttyyyyy lol

    ReplyDelete
  13. Brandi knows she's going home. The outfit clearly gives that away.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Jjjjooonnnnn! Long time no see :)))

    ReplyDelete
  15. I know work has been fd lol

    ReplyDelete
  16. Jon, I missed an entire week due to the flu. Yuck!

    ReplyDelete
  17. I was down with that last month it's just bad this year.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Joe It's to bad they can't combine some of the attributes of this Big Brother with the regular big brother. It will be interesting to see how voters seeing the season back before they choose a winner.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I really has been this year, Jon. I flew to Florida for my nephew's wedding and I'm convinced that I caught the flu on the flight home. Nobody in my family or anyone I was around was or has been sick since then. I'm gonna be the girl with a face mask on any future flights, LOL

    ReplyDelete
  20. Hi Jon. Brandi is freaking out. She wanted them to make fun of Julie. I have been sick last week or so also. This has been a bad year with everyone getting sick.

    ReplyDelete
  21. We have one Abe Vigoda lady at work and she infected us all with her cough and she still coughing I'm like you cough again I'm going to jail lol

    ReplyDelete
  22. Lol no one messes with the Chenbot

  23. I'm still high from TAR!!! So happy Jody won! Especially glad they are still together. I didn't realize until after the finale how close to BB they had filmed the Race. Must have been rough: they were together for 3 weeks or so, separated for like a month or more while he was on the jury, then they have to run that crazy Race. The fact that they managed to somehow to stay together says a lot - to me, anyway. That's a lot of turmoil for a very green relationship.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Has anyone seen James apply the guy liner in the house or is it permanent

    ReplyDelete
  25. I'm happy for JODY too. I actually fell asleep Wednesday night before the show finished and was thrilled when I saw that they had won it. I had it taped on the DVR and it was fun watching the finish. Great finish to a great TAR season. I honestly liked all of the final four but have to agree with others that I wasn't rooting for Team Yale. I liked the other three teams better.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Hi Jackie and everyone. I'm not home so am peeking in. :::waves:::

    ReplyDelete
  27. It's not even Team Yale, it was just Evan. She was kind of a bully with poor Henry.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I'm surprised it hasn't dawned on Ross that she was tanking. After all, he didn't even want to play in the Veto for the same reason.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I saw all the Tar and thought I posted on wrong blog! LOL

    ReplyDelete
  30. These are crazy face morphs. I can't even figure them out.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Lol I do like Ari

    ReplyDelete
  32. LOL, Penny. Sorry about posting on TAR. I was here early on Wednesday and then just faded watching it in the bedroom and fell asleep right after they did the fortune cookie challenge. I didn't know until the next day who won. :)))

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. That's ok, Monty. I don't mind talking and reading about TAR. I liked Henry, but not Evan. Now anti-Jody people say it isn't cair because Jessica did nothing. She did some of the hard tasks.

    Hello, all!

    ReplyDelete
  34. It instantly hit her...after 7 minutes

    ReplyDelete
  35. I kind of wish her and mark got more time to actually see how horrible they would have done

    ReplyDelete
  36. He really should put Ross up. He can't put James or Omarosa up, or they could go home. That leaves Ross or Marissa.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Hi Penny! I was glad Jody won last night as well. Ari did well on the comp.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I already know all of this stuff. I'm looking forward to the eviction and then the REAL live stuff going on.

I've only watched the feeds a few times with this one. Just never had the inkling to check in on them. Not like a regular season of BB.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Howdy everyone!! Been out doing some burgers on the grill - help yourselves!!

About the TAR finale last night - people I know over in Alameda (where the Hornet is berthed) said they filmed all of that in October!!

    SueGee

    ReplyDelete
  40. hi Kristin as well. Hopefully someone before double eviction doesn't just decide to quit.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Penny, she had to the do the challenge because Cody had already done six (the limit as I understand it) and she rocked it. They deserved the win. I almost cried watching how excited she was when she hugged the guy and then realized she had to still run to finish it. When she looked back to see if any of the others were behind them and then you could hear her crying, that said a lot. No problems with them winning even though I didn't like them on BB.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Yeah, Monty. She did do some hard tasks. People who didn't like them think they didn't deserve it be ause they think she was a floater.

They all deserved it. They all got there the same way.

      Delete
  42. Hi SueGee. That is good information to find out it was filmed in October.Marissa is a safe way to get Brandi out.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Is it a 2 hour show? Still not home yet.

I was thrilled Jodi won TAR. I felt so sorry for Team Extreme. They do get some money, but it's not what they wanted. Jessica was just better that night. I did not think they would win. I wasso happy.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Yes, Penny. Two hours tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Yes, it's two hour tonight live. One hour tomorrow -- clips? I don't know, but it's not live. Two hours Sunday live finale.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Glenn, I think all the quitters are gone, LOL

    ReplyDelete
  47. I just hope that someone decides to say they are ready to go home and see their family. It is the first season I remember that we had 2 people quit . I hope we get Zingbot soon.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Kristen from Ohio2/23/2018 9:00 PM

I think we got to see the real Cody on AR, and I actually liked him. I too loved the end when Jess realised that they had won.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I agree Monty. It is time for Brandi to go.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Kristen from Ohio2/23/2018 9:04 PM

I thought about Raven and Mark and remembered how Raven had said she and Mark would be on AR. Wonder how watching Jody win it was like for them.

    ReplyDelete
  51. She was actually pretty funny

    ReplyDelete
  52. LOL, I'd love to see Brandi's goodbye to James too :)))

    ReplyDelete
  53. Julie with the dig about someone dared to say something bad about her. That would have been great Zingbot material.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Ugh, Kristen.... LOL I'm having Raven flashbacks now :)))

    ReplyDelete
  55. The complaining about Jess and Jody is a little silly. There were 9 tasks: he did 6, she did 3. But, if she had done one more, it would have been 5-4 like the other groups. So, it's one lousy comp.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Kristen from Ohio2/23/2018 9:16 PM

    Sorry, Monty:)

    ReplyDelete
  57. I forgot about Raven. Does anyone know if she and Mark are still together? Or maybe she's been in the hospital since BB wrapped...

    ReplyDelete
  58. This reminds me of BB OTT

    ReplyDelete
  59. The only problem with these shows is you don't always get to see the "after". I would have liked to see Jess meet Cody's daughter, for example.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Wait, it was Raven and Matt. What was the name of Mark's girl? [God, I'm horrible with names.]

    ReplyDelete
  61. Kristen from Ohio2/23/2018 9:20 PM

    Did he just throw that?

    ReplyDelete
  62. Given OMarosa is 10x smarter than James, I'm betting on her on the tiebreaker

    ReplyDelete
  63. Kristen from Ohio2/23/2018 9:22 PM

    Matt was so forgettable

    ReplyDelete
  64. Oooohhhhh. Snap here we go lol

    ReplyDelete
  65. Omarosa, LOL

    This is classic

    ReplyDelete
  66. I wonder who she is going up put up

    ReplyDelete
  67. This could be a chaotic HOH now that Omerosa is HOH. The House might be sorry they didn't get her out when they could. I could see he going after Marissa or Ross.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Mark and Elana, Joe! Marlena are still together. My great-niece in Ft. Worth met them over Christmas at a restaurant there and got pics with them.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Elena...I found it.

As of December, Raven and Matt were supposedly still dating.

OMG - Mark and Elena supposedly moved in together!!! I would have sworn she didn't even really like him.

    ReplyDelete
  70. not who I wanted as HOH but she is now vulnerable for the next vote

    ReplyDelete
  71. Yes, Glenn. They'll all be sorry they didn't get rid of her when the had the chance to. LOL

Don't like her, but I love this!

    ReplyDelete
  72. Yes, Joe... they are the real thing too along with JODY

    ReplyDelete
  73. One of them will go home. I hope it's Marissa

    ReplyDelete
  74. I never really like Elena, but I really liked Mark. So, I'm glad they are happy.

    ReplyDelete
  75. she going for it lol

    ReplyDelete
  76. I wonder if it'll be Marissa and Ross

    ReplyDelete
  77. I'm not really cheering for anyone. But Marissa going home would be better for the show. Ross just works harder. Marissa staying would pretty much guarantee the Final 4 and no real surprises.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Monty and Joe I am glad to hear that the couples are still together. I also wasn't sure if Elena really liked him either.

    ReplyDelete
  79. I hope Ari survives all this

    ReplyDelete
  80. Me, too, Jon. I like her. She's really a smart woman.

Joe, you are so right. Ross would bring better tv. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  81. Joe, I have a funny thing about Elena. She really reminded me of a family member... not a sibling but a family member. So much alike in attitude, personality and actually looks. I saw the same personality in her. It was odd watching last summer. Having said that, I can see how they are still together because I know how strong my niece is and how great her relationship is with her S/O. I think they'll make it work.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Will they do another HOH tonight on the live feeds or will they wait until later?

    ReplyDelete
  83. If she doesn't put Ari up, both Marissa and Ross may end up staying.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Wow that was fast by Ross with the Veto. Will Ari or James get put on the block?

    ReplyDelete
  85. Jon, I think Ari is safe. I think Marissa is going home.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Damn it I like Ross and want hm to stay but she is gnna out up Ari

    ReplyDelete
  87. Joe, if Omarosa wants a woman to win, she may protect Marissa... but I don't think so

    ReplyDelete
  88. Unless she puts up mark or James is only wayI think she could stay

    ReplyDelete
  89. Glenn - I think they'll wait a bit, play tomorrow maybe with the feeds blocked. No scrolling marque on the feeds tonight about a comp.

    ReplyDelete
  90. She wants to break up Ross and Marissa.

    ReplyDelete
  91. She wants Marissa to stay. See!!!

    ReplyDelete
  92. Sweet she did shake things up lol

    ReplyDelete
  93. What did James just say?

    ReplyDelete
  94. That strikes me as a risky move

    ReplyDelete
  95. Okay, my comment at 9:40 was wrong, lol. I think Omarosa wants a woman to win and she knows, or thinks, she can beat Marissa.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Thanks Jackie. With James nominated does the house save Marissa? This will force Ross to pick a side. Ari will vote to save Marissa and Mark will save James. Ross is in a no win situation.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Ari and Ross will keep Marissa!

    ReplyDelete
  98. Kristen from Ohio2/23/2018 9:45 PM

Ari will vote James, Mark will vote Marissa, Ross is in a tough spot with his double alliance.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Monty, the problem is that if Marissa stays, Omarosa has made a move against Ross and Marissa is really his closest ally. If you can't take out your primary target, you have to at least weaken them. If Marissa stays, Omarosa is back to being on the bottom of the house

    ReplyDelete
  100. They want to split up Ross and Marissa, though. This is going to be a potluck.

    ReplyDelete
  101. I think O just backdoored James all by her lonesome. But who will Ross vote out

    ReplyDelete
  102. I know, Joe. This is crazy

    ReplyDelete
  103. I think it will be James going. Only vote to save will be from Mark

    ReplyDelete
  104. They want to split up Ross and Marissa.

    ReplyDelete
  105. I think you are right itchy.

    ReplyDelete
  106. They want to take Marissa because she's the goat

    ReplyDelete
  107. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  108. I hope they show her goodbye message lol

    ReplyDelete
  109. Marissa is safe. James is out and Omarossa will be in trouble.

    ReplyDelete
  110. Can't wait to watch RHAP now :)))

    ReplyDelete
  111. I do think there is a HUGE target on Omarossa now. Numbers are against her...

    ReplyDelete
  112. Will they show Brandis tape goodbye message?

    ReplyDelete
  113. Penny - I like blondside better :o)

    ReplyDelete
  114. Moving forward should have been the drinking word

    ReplyDelete
  115. Thank you so much Jackie. I'll be back Sunday, but not tomorrow. Have a great weekend everyone.

    ReplyDelete
  116. Night everyone!! Thanks for everything Jackie!!

    ReplyDelete
  117. That's kind of gangsta lol

    ReplyDelete
  118. OMG, can we stop with the WH moments???!!!

I've enjoyed this winter version but the politics is ick.

Thanks Jackie and will see you all tomorrow nigh

    ReplyDelete
  119. Thanks Jackie see you guys later on have a great weekend!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  120. Thanks for coming by! Remember to sign up for the Survivor Ghost Island blog pool on the blog pool post if you want in!

    ReplyDelete
  121. LOL, I had to look up who Raven and Matt even were since they were mentioned. That's how long my Big Brother knowledge lasts.

They won't do a Zingbot. They are "celebrities" after all. Can't insult them.

    Thanks Jackie. =)
