BB21: Field Trip & Nominations Show Blog Party - August 11

Come one, come all! It's time for a field trip! I'll be live blogging the major events as they air here on the East Coast. Since I'll be constantly updating this post, please refresh to see the latest news! As always, the real party is in the comments area -- please feel free to join in on the fun.

Remember, this show post is a SPOILER FREE ZONE. While we know the outcome of the PoV, it will not be airing on tonight's show. Any comments pertaining to it will be removed. Thank you!

Previously on … yada-yada-yada …

"A new twist will send Tommy's HOH upside-down." That, of course, would be the field trip.

We pick up the action after Tommy wins HoH … on his birthday. He tells us that the Six Shooters will come back together. I would call them the Faulty Five if that happens. Jess is pleased that she got Jack out and that the six broke up. She hopes they don't try to get back together.

Christie is thrilled by Tommy winning. She thinks the Universe rewarded loyalty. Gag me now. Cliff talks with his gals, hopes he can count on them. He thinks he and Jackson will probably go on the block.

Kat is worried because Tommy tried to get the vote flipped the week she and Sam were on the block. Holly and Jackson think that Tommy shouldn't stay aligned with Christie. No one in the house is aware that Tommy and Christie have known each other for a decade or so. Tommy tells Jackson that he thinks the Six Shooters should come together. Jackson tells us he's not real happy with that, but it's Tommy's HoH.

Christie goes to Tommy's HOH room, cocky because she's sure she's safe. He tells her that he would like Kat and Cliff on the block. Christie thinks Kat is dangerous but close with Holly. Tommy tells her he might even take Cliff down and put Nicole up just to make sure Kat goes home.

Cliff goes to plead his case to stay off the block. He tells Tommy he has no alliance and is working by himself. Tommy promises him that if he does go on the block, he's not the target. Tommy wants to keep the door open to work with Cliff sometime down the road.

Kat is very worried and, at this moment, is being consoled by Jackson. She goes to talk to Tommy. Love, love all around. @@  She tells him that she would never put him up on the block and would never hurt his game. She tells us that's a lie. Tommy tells her he's not telling anyone what he's going to do. He denies that the Six are getting back together. She can tell he's lying.

America's Field Trip is announced and they run to the living room monitor. They were told America has been voting and explain the "prizes." Jackson, Analyse and Christie "win." Of course, the prizes are 1. safety for the week, 2. punishment, 3. third nomination.

Jackson recognizes it's more of a hit list of people not liked. Christie is in tears because she thinks it's something people who LOVE her wouldn't pick.

Analyse offers to Tommy to throw the comp so that Christie would stay. Tommy told her no but said to us that it might be for the best. Christie comes in and Analyse offers to throw it. Tommy tells her it's a good idea and if Christie sits on the block, they might just take a shot at her.

The ones not on the field trip watch on the living room monitor. It's the getting an egg up through the chicken wire, then down a ramp. Egscape the Coop. Angry chickens are atop the cages. We've seen this comp before. They have to spell out SAFE with four eggs they retrieve. Analyse tells us she plans to throw the comp so Christie won't go on the block. Jackson wants to win it and wants Christie to go on the block.

They talk about America hating them. Analyse doesn't think they could hate her because she "barely talks." I'm sure she was the alternate, mainly due to her connection with Jack. With Jack and Tommy getting votes and not eligible, she was next.

Jackson wins the safety! Christie is doing so poorly that there's no way Analyse could throw it without everyone realizing it.

Analyse comes in second and gets the punishment. Christie is the third nomination!

So … she cries at us in a DR segment. She's starting think America hates her. Aw, poor baby. I don't "hate" her. I just want her out of the house. I find her very annoying and think the Tommy real life connection is unfair to the rest of the house, should never have happened.

Tommy tells them it's not because America hates them. Jackson disagrees. Christie cries some more. Kat is thrilled Christie is up on the block.

Just about everyone but Tommy and Christie are happy she's on the block. Amalyse told Tommy she really tried but it would have been so obvious. Christie comes in and cries to them. Nick comes in and tells Christie if he wins the veto, he would save her.

Amalyse gets called to the DR for her punishment. She's in a chicken costume for a week. Nicole is scared of birds, so they play up on that.

Kat goes to Tommy with a deal -- she points out that if Christie remains on the block, she'd be a vote for her to stay. She tells us it's a big maybe, probably not. Tommy again says he doesn't know what he's going to do.

Time for the nominations ceremony. Tommy first nominates Cliff, then Kat. He says he's sorry and fears they have good working relationships with everyone in the house, go for the veto.

So we have Kat, Cliff and Christie on the block.

  12. It’s going to be funny when they believe they are America’s favorite lol

    ReplyDelete
  13. I wonder how/when they realize that the votes we cast were for our LEAST fave? How'd they figure it out?

    ReplyDelete
  14. With Tommy as HOH, it'll be a blood bath for the other side. Dang it.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Jon, Jackson and Tommy figured out pretty quickly what the deal was, LOL

  25. LOL @ Petals. He's going to be playing in 90+ degrees and extreme humidity... this past week would have been better weather wise

    ReplyDelete
  26. I think the girls' hair is natural this season. I see no extensions. YAY!

    ReplyDelete
  27. oh no! That is terrible conditions for The Maestro. I will pray for cooler temps.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Murmurings, lies, deceit, deception

    ReplyDelete
  29. I know, Petals. We timed our trip to Kings Island during the right week. I would hate to be in Mason this week. :((

    ReplyDelete
  30. And, yes on the hair extensions. They're missing this season. Real hair for once

    ReplyDelete
  31. It would seem to me that Tommy's aunt would want him to betray Christie!

    ReplyDelete
  32. ugh @@ Christy with her "universe" and "manifesting". Learn new verbage - you sound like a bad self-help manual.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I wish we could have put Tommy up.

  36. welcome to the truth - we MANIFESTED it, Christy! HHAHAAAAA

    ReplyDelete
  37. I would love to know where Tommy finished in the voting

    ReplyDelete
  38. They all think it's a popularity contest. That's right Christie. It's because we do not like you. Again, I wish Tommy could have been up there.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I'm surprised Michie, of all people, realized he wasn't popular. He seems like a total narcissist.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Wow, they are smart....go figure...

    ReplyDelete
  41. Cheryl, I gave ALMOST all of my votes to Tommy and I'm sure Jack was high in the voting. The bad thing was all of those votes were wasted because Jack was evicted and Tommy's HOH, but I don't care. We got three of them in there, LOL

    ReplyDelete
  42. I know a lot of people were only voting for Sis in any case and that was VERY SMART! :))

    ReplyDelete
  43. Yea Monty... I figure he most likely had more than sis for sure

    ReplyDelete
  44. oh the egg competition...interesting

    ReplyDelete

  49. Eight days later.....

    ReplyDelete
  50. Did she just say she refuses to believe America doesn't like her because she doesn't talk? LOLOLOL

    ReplyDelete
  51. That was a smart thing to figure out

    ReplyDelete
  52. as an egg lover & poor person, it's killing me to see all these wasted eggs

    ReplyDelete
  53. Commence crying in three, two, one lol

    ReplyDelete
  54. and...cue to the fake crying. Vanessa Jr.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Well, when you bring it on yourself... @@

    ReplyDelete
  56. Gosh, now I'm hoping whomever gets the Veto does not take Christie off. That would mean Tommy would put up probably Nicole. That would suck.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Petals, I thought the same thing. Thank God eggs are really cheap here.

  59. The feeds were down around seven hours for the field trip. Of course, not all of that is the "trip" itself.

    ReplyDelete
  60. If for ANY reason Christie comes off the block, there will be NO replacement since we essentially nominated her.

    ReplyDelete
  61. so Jackson is actually not stupid. Good.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Really? Monty, that is FANTASTIC!!

    ReplyDelete
  63. Penny, that's always how the third nominee worked with the MVP

    ReplyDelete
  64. damn, I am craving Rice Chrispie Treats

    ReplyDelete
  65. I can barely hear Nick through the closet door...

    ReplyDelete
  66. Ugh, I can't stand listening to Nick speaking 100 mph. Also, he just grosses me out!!

    ReplyDelete
  67. It will suck, though, if anyone takes her off the block, one of the others go home unless they win the veto.

    ReplyDelete
  68. oh I love that Chess set.

    ReplyDelete
  69. and apparently so am I ..you're

    ReplyDelete
  70. Lol birds

    ReplyDelete
  71. Oh Kat, she needs to leave.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Poor Kat...it's OK.

There are all sorts of fun pics online of Ovi, David, Kemi & Sam hanging with the BB20 crew. Everyone looks so happy. I hope they know how much America loves them.

    ReplyDelete
  73. With those two on the block there should be no drought in California this week lol

    ReplyDelete
  76. Thank you all for coming by!

    ReplyDelete
  77. Thanks as always Jackie!! Goodnight all see ya in the comments.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Thanks Jackie!!! Everyone have a great and safe week!!!

    ReplyDelete
  79. Sorry to miss the pool party tonight...

    ReplyDelete
  80. You say its unfair that Christie and Tommy know each other what about kat, holly and jackson? Christie is playing a good game and so is tommy,i hope kat goes this week and holly goes soon!

    ReplyDelete
  81. Kat and Holly didn't "know" each other. They work in the same field so they were in the same place at the same time. They recognized each other. Jackson didn't know either of them.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Kay and Holly did NOT know each other before entering the house and have mentioned a couple of time that they can’t believe they didn’t run across each other at AN EVENT that they both previously attended... they have both openly talked about it with others around... because there was nothing to hide... they hadn’t previously met. Jackson spread the rumor. Then OTHERS accused all 3 of previously knowing each other. They hadn’t met before entering BB. If the girls had been friends prior to BB... sharing Jackson would have been a huge problem.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Kat.... dang autocorrect always wants to change it to Kay... sorry
