BB21: Power of Veto Show Blog Party - August 28

Tonight we get to endure the return of the ZingBot. I say endure because it's not really a favorite of mine. Although they often deserve the "zings" I find it quite mean-hearted. Plus, due to the whacko voice used, I often have trouble deciphering what it's saying. Oh, well. We should also have some more pranks going on.

I'll be live-blogging and updating this entry with the major events as the show airs here on the East Coast. Refresh the page to get in on the latest happenings! As always, the real party is in the comments area. Please feel free to join in on the fun!

Previously on is telling us all about previously seen stuff. Amazing, indeed.

Nick tells us that sitting next to Christie is his best chance of staying this week (other than winning veto). And, we're to the show intro and bigger and better things. Or, so we hope.

The nominations ceremony ends. Holly or her people think they need to win to keep the noms the same as some of them might be in trouble. Christie is assuming the Prankster is Nick. She's right. She thinks she can win the veto and bounce back, surviving again this week. I hope not!

Jackson tells Holly he wants to play for veto -- he'd keep the noms the same. Tommy tells Holly that he thought Christie won Prankster until the nominations came down. They have him worried that he might go up if the veto is used to save Christie.

Nick and Christie have an amicable talk about the nominations. She "reads energy" and doesn't believe anything he's selling, as she shouldn't. He doesn't want her to know he's the Prankster although she tells us she's sure he is.

Prankster pie clips -- everyone gets pies! Even Nick in the Diary Room. Nicole thinks of the pies as retaliation for wrongs done in the house.

Time to pick veto players. Holly gets a fist of goo reaching in to select a chip. She got Houseguest Choice and chose Jackson. Nick got Cliff. (Cliff tells us he wouldn't use it.) Christie got Jessica.

Christie tells Jackson/Holly that Nick is a swindler and she doesn't want him to get in anyone's heads. She thinks she can do a deal with them. Christie thinks her deal with them to be a pawn is gone because she's on the block. But, as they point out to us, they didn't nominate her. Of course, I'm hoping she goes this week and the pawn bit would be moot anyway.

ZingBot arrives. Much ado. Nicole is thrilled. ZB calls them the biggest group of losers ever. Tommy -- singing and dancing reminds of Little Shop of Attention Whores. Nicole -- Afraid of birds, but lived with old buzzard all season named Holly. Christie -- loud on Taco Tuesday, not the fighting but your chewing. Has something for one of them -- Nick -- Open present, time for a new haircut! Nicole -- tough for you with no friends, no boyfriends … you must feel right at home. One hg this summer who's very voluptuous and quite busty -- pleased to meet you, Cliff. Jess -- the game you're playing this summer, fans planning convention called SnoozeFest. Jackson -- Hello, what should I call you? Michie? Jackson? Or Pompous DoucheBag?

The scandals and fake news pushed ZB out of office. On the run, hiding in BB house and they'll never find him. Guards come in to arrest him.

They go around the house and find ZB locked up. He's expecting them to help him escape. They "knock out cameras" by moving balls in a vertical table maze. with guiding ropes comp. The comp is Free the Zing.

JACKSON wins the Power of Veto! His only real competition in the comp was Nick. Nick is not a happy camper. Christie thinks she might have a chance to stay as long as Nick remains on the block.

Jackson visits Nick in the boat room. Nick tells him that you can only really tell loyalty when you're not looking. He told Jackson he wouldn't have gone on the block. Hinting around that he's the Prankster and telling us that he thinks telling him might keep him safe. It might be his only shot.

So, Jackson runs to Holly and tells her that Nick is the Prankster. He tells her not to tell anyone. Holly really wants Nick out. Christie comes in and Jackson tells her he's not using the veto because they don't know who would go up. He tells her that she won't be going home anyway. She isn't salty about it -- she thinks she has a good chance of staying.

Then Nick tells Tommy to show him that he could have put him up and wants the favor returned. Tommy is not really committing, says it's still early.

Veto meeting time  … and PIES! Three pies to the face of the veto winner! Good.

Jackson does NOT use the veto. The nominations remain Christie and Nick. Either going would be fine with me. I don't like either one of them.

  5. Oh, so you think Nick!!!

    ReplyDelete
  6. I don't Nick thought that whole thing out. He should have went to Holly and made a deal. He doesn't put up Jackson if she keeps him off the block. NO BRAINER

  7. Hi Jackie and Vincent. Thank you for giving us a place to complain about these nincompoops!

  11. ~*~*~*~ SPLASH ~*~*~*~

    Hi Jackie, Vincent & Everyone!

    I brought chilled STELLA!

Hey - is Nicole worse than Victoria? IMO, yes. Vic was entertaining, interesting. I am quickly souring on Nicole and how far she is getting for doing absolutely nothing, not even adding to intelligent conversation (again, IMO)

    Thoughts?

  12. Hey Jackie and everyone!
Curious to hear the zings but it does seem like they have become way more mean spirited over the last several years.

    ReplyDelete
  13. I think they are neck and neck tbh

    ReplyDelete
  14. Petals... hey girl. Hope you're feeling better. Hey Cheryl!

  16. Monty! I am better! That was miserable. TY friend.

  17. I find Nicole more entertaining as time is going on. She dances, she has some vicious comebacks.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Yeah, they've become more mean-spirited, but some of them really do deserve it. LOLOL

    ReplyDelete
  19. Great job with the pie

    ReplyDelete
  20. Hi all! I brought pie with me tonight😉

    ReplyDelete
  21. I've actually enjoyed the pie punishment. Fun feeds!!

    ReplyDelete
  22. I have read some of her witticisms, but not many, Ms Jackie. Is she worthy of her #1 Jokers fan rating?

She is the least offensive of everyone remaining, she & Jess. Jess has won things, and has a family, and is SUCH a great role model for larger girls. I'm becoming a Jess fan, I think.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I wonder if Production is going to edit Holly's ZING, as she mentioned in the feeds?

    ReplyDelete
  24. Has there been ants this summer? I would think with all they pie goo......

    ReplyDelete
  25. Petals, how you feeling?

I'm peeking in an out. I'm watching the AGT results.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I love Nicole, just don't like her game play so far.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Just thinking - Tommy & Nick can actually date, because they live nearby.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Ditto Monty. I don't dislike her, but she has no ... zah zah zooh. hehee

    ReplyDelete
  29. Please send Christie packing...

    ReplyDelete
  30. Exactly... that nails Nicole's game in a nutshell, LOL

    ReplyDelete
  31. I don't get why Holly was ticked off at her zing. She was reading way too much into it and was totally wrong/off about what it really meant. @@

No spoilers so I won't say the Zing. It's just stupid...

    ReplyDelete
  32. Petals - You can like whomever you want. I myself really like Nicole. I do wish she'd win something, but …!

    ReplyDelete
  33. There it is... Holly took it completely out of context

    ReplyDelete
  34. I don't get the old buzzard zing...

    LOL @Tommy!

    ReplyDelete
  35. True - Nick's Caesar cut is terrible!
Wish Zingbot had given him a key to get out of his closet. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  36. I’m with you on this zing, Petals!

    ReplyDelete
  37. dddaaaaaaaammmmmmnnnnn @ Jackson's zing

    ReplyDelete
  38. they DID edit Holly's Zing!

    ReplyDelete
  39. The best part is when he fell

    ReplyDelete
  40. They didn't Petals... that's the one she was upset about. She took it as they were accusing her of taking Kat's leftovers because she thinks that what a buzzard does. So wrong, they were just making a joke about her age (which isn't old at 31, but that was it). She confused a buzzard with a vulture. Like I said, stupid...

    ReplyDelete
  41. Wait, Monty - I didn't hear Zingbot say anything about sloppy seconds? Did he? I left the room for a second.

    ReplyDelete
  42. No... she totally read that into it and was whining about her family thinking ill of her because of the Jackson/Kat thing. She made it all up in her head.

    ReplyDelete
  43. She's 31??????? I thought she was supposed to be younger! Oh!!!! I was completely misinterpreting what I'd read, then. Thank you, M!
Hindsight - yes. That was a good zing, then. Jackson is 24 going on 18; their age difference is kinda large, considering where they are in their lives. That's like a college freshman and a high school freshman.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I love the balance ball comps

    ReplyDelete
  45. Hi Jackie and everyone who follows. I'm late, but here now. Baseball. Just caught up on the zings. They seemed to be pretty tame this season.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Remember when BMC sat down and Frankie had to do this one all on his own?

    ReplyDelete
  47. Hi Jenna, they were very tame!

    ReplyDelete
  48. Jacksons zig was right on...I have to say...

    ReplyDelete
  49. Yeah, I remember that Monty! I'd forgotten until now.

    ReplyDelete
  50. The Buzzard is not going to have a relationship with him out of the house...

    ReplyDelete
  51. Ugh.... Christie’s voice just irritates me lol

    ReplyDelete
  52. ugh! Christy looks like Raven! ACK!

    ReplyDelete
  53. So he tells another one, LOL

    ReplyDelete
  54. I have a great spoiler joke, but I'll save it. :)))

    ReplyDelete
  55. Petals - I said the same Raven thing in a screen cap I posted on one of the feeds reports. That hairstyle shouldn't be worn by anyone over eight.

    ReplyDelete
  56. I really want Christie to go home. But, Nick, you are so irritating.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Awwww, come on, Monty! I want to hear the spoiler!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  58. LOL Teeb!

    Thank you Ms Jackie!

Love you guys, see you tomorrow. NO idea who is leaving, finally a surprise!

    XOXOX

    ReplyDelete
  59. Monty, you’ll definitely have to share your spoiler joke at some point lol

    ReplyDelete
  60. At a couple of points, everyone knew that Nick was the prankster BUT Jessica. It was a running joke with Holly and Jackson as one by one people told them that they knew it. Everyone but Jess :)))

    ReplyDelete
  61. Thanks Jackie! Another great night! See everyone tomorrow 🤗

    ReplyDelete
  62. Thanks Jackie, have a great night everyone! I'm hoping baseball won't take to long tomorrow so I can join everyone for eviction night.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Thank you for posting and hosting, Jackie!

    Always a great time everyone.

    See you tomorrow
