TAR32: November 25 Double Episode Blog Party

My gosh. A double episode, or at least, two episodes in a row, on the eve of one of the biggest holidays of the year isn't best for neither the ratings, nor the blogging. The comments have only been drawing a small amount of folks each week although the visitor "hits" seem to be strong. I'm not anticipating large crowds for either tonight. If folks are at home, there could be too much food prep going on for two hours of television.

Lifeguard SueGee has updated the blog pool and you can find the latest pool standings at this here link.

I will do my best to persevere and get this entry updated with the major happenings as the show airs here on the East Coast. Refresh the page to get the latest news! As always, the real party -- probably small and social distancing -- is in the comments area. Please feel free to join in on the fun!

Six teams remain. It's a mega-leg ahead. Who will be eliminated next?

Teams are flying to the middle of India. I'm not even going to try to spell the name of the city, but it's known as the Cyber City. James and will are off first heading to the airport. While they are a good team, I'm not personally liking them much. Now they have decided that the NFL duo is no longer helpful to them. All the teams are on the same flight.

They scramble for taxis at the airport although there are plenty available. They have to get the next clue after doing three smog checks on vehicles called auto rickshaws. The hardest part is getting the rickshaw drivers off the street for the test. Otherwise it looks like standard emissions checks.

Detour -- Team up with a food delivery service and deliver three meals. Or, use motion sensor tech which has them catching light balls of one or zero to receive a code to decipher the next clue. Most of the teams are doing the Number Trap. The blonds go for the food delivery.
NFL gets the code first. Now they have to decipher it.

Oh, no. The blonds are lost AGAIN.

Hung and Chee are having problems with the Number Trap and are still at it while most are deciphering the clue.

James and Will get the clue first. They have to head to a mausoleum where there is a Yield ahead. They decide to Yield the blonds as they know they don't have an hourglass, it gives them a huge buffer for a losing team and won't get "blood on their hands" with their alliance.

Roadblock -- Who's ready to flip their lid? They have to identify three people's turbans digitally and then in real life.

Hung/Chee decided to switch detours. The BFL are second to the Yield station. Hung and Chee found the food delivery right away and are off to a good start. The blonds just arrived there. The teams are in radio contact with a navigator person. It seems like the blonds are giving their navigator a headache.

Meanwhile teams at the match the turban cyber and reality are finding it hard. I'm smiling that James is having problems at the turbans. I'm mean like that.

Maddison/Riley and then NFL get the clue to the next clue first.

The blonds get to their Yield and it's the one twenty minute one. If that doesn't get them gone this week, nothing will.

Ah, it was set up as two separate episodes even with the mega-leg. We're starting the second episode.

Eswar/Arpana just finish the turbans as the blonds finish their time-out.

Meanwhile the other teams are headed to the next clue.

Detour - This or That. No more explanation. This is finding a bangle bracelet set -- needle in a haystack kind of thing. Eswar/Arpana chose That so we'll find out what That is finally! The blonds actually do well with the turban Roadblock.

Riley and Maddison are off first to the next clue. Yield ahead.

That is taking a mold of a patient's teeth and fitting them to the patient to make dentures.

Teams will dress in traditional outfits and ride a horse and carriage to a castle. Now Riley and Maddison Yield the blonds, mainly because they knew Hung/Chee were running behind.

Roadblock - Who wants to set things straight? Prepare 10 royal dinner settings according to art.

The blonds are doing the dentures That. They don't know of the Yield yet.

Either James or Will (off camera) said the five team alliance is now dead. It's three -- them, Riley/Maddison and Hung/Chee.

All the teams but the blonds are doing the settings now. Very fussy. I don't think I could eat there. I'd probably mess something up!

Riley/Maddison are the first team off the the Pit Stop. The blonds find out that they are Yielded once again.

Pit Stop Order
1. Riley/Maddison - won a 7 day Caribbean cruise
2. James/Will
3. DeAngelo/Gary
4. Hung/Chee
5. Eswar/Arpana
6. Kaylynn and Haley -- phinally Philiminated

Thank you for reading and I hope all have a great Thanksgiving! Stay safe!

  1. Hi Jackie,
As usual, I'm not able to start watching for another hour, but Jumping in to say hi to everyone.

  2. Everyone might be a bit scarce, Sharon! It's been slow and now the night before Thanksgiving is bound to be even more slow. However, welcome!

  3. I can only come during commercials as I'm kind of obligated to blog the show ... especially since many will probably miss it and look at the blog for updates.

  4. They do get lost every leg. It's hard to believer they are still in the race.

  5. Joe - Well, they probably won't get another non-elim. I can't believe they got the first two!

    ReplyDelete
  6. I also can't believe they chose the food delivery when they know they always get lost!

  7. I just hope Hung and Chee can pull through and remain ahead of the blonds even with their Yield. I like Hung and Chee but if they switch they might have issues with the second detour.

  8. They could need that yield later on, you never know

  9. There a better team then kaylynn and haley!

    ReplyDelete
  10. Ha! Seems the blondes are making a sincere attempt to 'fit' the blonde description...

  11. I'm cheering for the blondes. They seem to be kind or running this race alone. They have a good attitude...and they probably won't last tonight. LOL

  12. They are awful. How do they make it through life? They're the ones on their own since 15 and 16!

    ReplyDelete
  13. I'm kind of happy that James/Will are having turban troubles. Heh.

    ReplyDelete
  14. That part of India is not typical of what we usually see, is it?

  15. Checking in at the last moment. At my mother-in-laws, so not paying attention to tv. Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving tomorrow!

Jackie, I'm not a fan of James/Will, either, but they are my pool pick.

  16. Why would you yield these girls? They are not that fast!

    1. They yielded them to help Hung and Chee.

  17. Oh, it's on 2 hours??? YAY

  18. I wouldn't be surprised if they manage to catch up. The Mega leg helps them out a bit. It's almost like having a non-elimination leg.

    ReplyDelete
  19. It was kind of odd to yield the blondes. I mean, they were in last. Unless you think you are in danger of being in last - and they weren't - why wouldn't you yield someone closer to you?

    ReplyDelete
  20. I think they Yielded the blonds mainly to make one team surely last and out plus they think it wasn't fair they were saved twice. I understand the logic but think that Will/James have a bit of a mean streak to them.

  21. They may need that yield later

  22. Howdy everyone. Tried to post from my phone but it got too complicated LOL. Dinner is done so I will chat while you watch as usual!!

  23. Jackie - been meaning to ask how you are liking Fargo this year. One more episode of that next week!

  24. Hi Jackie and SueGee and Joe and Penny and everyone.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Hi Glenn! And hi to all that are still here!!

    ReplyDelete
  26. I'm two episodes behind on Fargo. While I do like it, this isn't my favorite season. I had a hard time getting into it.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Happy Thanksgiving everyone

    ReplyDelete
  28. Happy Thanksgiving to you too Glenn and all

  29. That really makes no sense. You yield the blondes again?!?!? Why not yield someone who is more of a threat? You're wasting your yield to try and protect an ally who could, in theory, protect themselves.

    GO BLONDES!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  30. Joe that is true about the Yield on the Blondes.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Helping in the kitchen. Back now.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I want Hung and Chee to yield the volleyball players next leg. THAT would be funny.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I hope these yields come back on those who yielded. Grrrrr

    ReplyDelete
  34. I think it is really silly to double-yield the blondes. They are so harmless and so not a threat to anyone.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Hung & chee, eswar and aparna and gary and de angelo are the only teams left with yields then!

    ReplyDelete
  36. Who have the blondes yielded? I agree Joe, they are harmless.

    ReplyDelete
  37. This is kind of sad because toward the end, they will be after each other. Then it will get good.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Ya that seems to be the general idea

    ReplyDelete
  39. Whenever that will be good.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Oh wait, they've probably been on it all ready.

    ReplyDelete
  41. That's terrible how they feel about the blondes. I hope it's a non-elimination. But, it probably isn't.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I was wrong -- they used the first Yield.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Geeze The blondes just had their worst day.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Yes, the blondes used the yield last week. But the boyfriends talked them into it.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Have a great day tomorrow. See you all next week.

Thank you so much Jackie and Vincent!!

    ReplyDelete
  46. Night everyone!! Have a good Turkey Day. Stay safe, wash your hands and wear a mask!

    ReplyDelete
  47. Thank you for coming and I hope all have a great Thanksgiving! Stay safe!

    ReplyDelete
  48. Joe, now I remember. Thank you.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Thank you again Jackie, and Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

    ReplyDelete
  50. Happy Thanksgiving to all!!!

This season is playing out a little like BB, with the major alliance dominating!

Still rooting for my Hung and Chee!!!

    ReplyDelete
  51. PS, I also vote for the blondes to come back in an Amazing Race all-stars, just because they were so likable! I know they aren't really all-stars since they lost, but maybe an Amazing Race "reunion" season??
