TV Newsy Bits - Monday, October 23, 2006

Tonight was Heroes night for me once again. I'm hooked. I'm not quite sure how long the premise will be able to be dragged out, though. If they save the world from the one NYC blast, is it over? Or will they "see" more problems and keep saving the world? Now that the ones with the powers are starting to meet up, I'm enjoying the show even more.

And, of course, my favorite character on the show is Hiro, played by Masi Oka. I found an interesting interview with him at Q&A with Masi Oka - if you enjoy the show, check out the interview!

In other stuff:

What did you watch tonight?

I don't watch the "Soaps" but here is the link to Dr. Will Kirby's appearance on The Young & the Restless"...

He played himself I & thought he did a great job...
What do you think?

Thanks for the link SMH... I thought Will did well also... but then, he was just being Will. While I was on YouTube I checked out Kaysar too...couldn't understand a word he said in either clip. He spoke too fast and ran his words together. Love him...but he's not an actor.

I'm a Heroes fan too. I think it's great! So of course I watched that, and then followed up with Studio 60 (another fav). I know you don't like it though Jackie ;) it's one of those shows that my hubby and I watch together. Usually we have different tastes, so it is nice to see something we both enjoy.

I haven't looked at the listings for tonight, but I think Tuesday is typically a NetFlix night for me LOL.

Dancing With the Stars was really good tonight. I truly hope Jerry Springer goes before one of these other great competitors gets voted out just because he has a lot of fans voting for him. I personally like the guy (away from his show)...he's proven to be witty and he knows he can't dance.

Studio 60 was excellent also. I had Tivo'd it and just got around to watching it.

Don't do Gold Rush, but happened to just go in the site you have for us Jackie and there were almost a thousand comments. WOW! Do you get an email for each one of those also when someone posts? Amazing!!!

meb - Yes, I get an email for each comment. Gold Rush hasn't been a problem at all because everyone has gotten along fine, no bickering and... I don't have to answer the comments as I made it known I wasn't participating. It really seems to have worked out for a lot of folks and I'm glad I set up the entry!

Anon - I'd have to check on that. Heroes is one of the few new shows doing well. I thought I had heard it was picked up for additional episodes.

Hey Jackie,
I'm baaaaaack...your friendly neighborhood "Apprentice" lover. I think I'm hooked on "Heroes" now myself. Something about cliff hanging gets me every time. (I hate em) but I'm in for the duration. They might pull a "Lost" thingy where they start explaining how the powers came about. Then they save the world... whadda ya think...
