Whoa, Ronald busting Donald for being rude at the standby desk! I think Christina has her hands full with Dad.

Ronald, stop yer bitchin'!! Chill!!! Poor Christina. "I'm optimistic 'with the real truth' flavor". Sheesh! She's disappointed him? She's not decisive? I'm still liking her, but him, not so much.

He is way too hard on her. What an annoying control freak he can be, huh?

Remember the Japanese culture and the dominance of the male...but Ron still needs to back off. I wanted to gag him!!!

There are some strong women on this race and some weak men...amazing!!!

"Archie Bunker of the race" isn't strong enough to describe his behavior. In the previews, it looks like she stands up to him a bit more. Hope so. His work-aholic mentality is suffocating.

What's with Nicholas letting old grandpa do that Road Block Dutch vault? He should have done that. That was Ronald busting Nicholas earlier for the rudeness. Not Donald.

It's unfortunate that the two ministers were eliminated, but with their aches and pains complaints, I can't imagine they would have made it much farther. He is most definitely a control freak.

I admire Christina for her ability to stay calm under constant pressure and critism from her Dad.

I could not have kept my mouth shut and emotions in check had I been in her shoes.
I am certain I would have used words and said things I would regret later had I been her.
I do hope when Ron sees his mean spirited and condescending behavior towards his daughter that he will apologize to her for being such a pain in the arse.

Oh man,I had to turn the sound off every time that Ronald was on the screen. He just went down a score of points in my book and I can't root for them any more, even though I feel for poor Christina. And for him to jump on Nicholas and berate him in public like he did...er,not such a good idea,to make enemies so early in the game. Now they are at the back of the pack and maybe they will go home next.I hope, too, that Ronald will be very ashamed of himself when he sees this on TV.

I,also agree that it was shabby of Nick to let his Grandpa try and jump that ditch when he's so tall,it would have seemed to be easier for him. I then wondered if he was going to make Grandpop pedal him on the bike. He's not a very thoughtful grandson,IMO.

Now Jason and Lorena sure surprised me this week. How well they worked together and got along!Maybe they caught on that all the bickering and fighting got them nowhere last time. That mud in the ditch sure looked nasty too.

I really liked it when Nick said Let's wait and watch what Pinky does? Too funny. And then Kynt I'm kind of prissy. Well Duh.

Ronald needs to go soon, or the producers need to stop featuring him because this could be a reason for not watching. I cannot stand his badgering his daughter. He never stops!

I thought the "pinky" line was priceless too.

I'm surprised that I'm liking the gothic couple. I thought they'd be obnoxious, but so far not too much. But then maybe it's because Ronald is keeping me from noticing.

Who fell in the muck and her male partner said "You smell like poop" when they were on the bike? Too funny.

I thought Ronald and Christina were going to be one of my favorite teams, but after his tirades last night, I can barely stand looking at him. Sorry to see the ministers go, but I didn't think they would last long anyway.

I liked this quote from joy. Remember the girl who had the prostectic and the guy she was dating how he had her do all the strenuous tasks and he did the easy ones. I am wondering if this is going to be the same were grandpa does all the hard task and his grandson does all the easy ones.

As always, great review over on TVSquad, Jackie.

Ronald and Christina are from the same city I live in. I was excited last week when I realized that and now after his behavior this week I want to hunt him down and slap him!! Nobody should berate their own daughter like that. I guess she took it pretty well because that's probably what she's put up with growing up. Sad to see that she wanted to do this to establish a relationship with him and this is how she's treated....on national TV!!

I think Nicholas let his grandpa do the roadblock because he wanted to and Nicholas didn't want to apprear to be disrespecting his grandpa's opinions.JMO

I'm liking most of the pairs so far.

Just read the complete review over on TV Squad. I'll have to say it again, right on, Jackie.

Christina must be such a sweetheart to tolerate and not disrespect her dad. He seemed to have an entirely different personality this episode. I'm wondering how much worse he might have been if he wasn't aware he was being filmed. I hope Christina doesn't spend her whole life trying to get her dad's approval and marry a control freak just like him.

What was Nicolas thinking letting his gramps do the pole vaulting? It seems as though Nicholas has some growing up to do. Hopefully, he'll step up in future tasks.

I have to give Pat and Kate credit for even trying to compete. I'm glad Jackie mentioned that they didn't assign blame to either one for loosing, which is what a good "team" does. Pat and Kate did show respect for each other.

I dislike Nathan for his degrading and invalidating comments to Jennifer from the previous episode. But then I don't like all her screaming either. Who knows, maybe they will be successful as a couple doing a "sick dance" together.

Kynt and Vyxsin seem to be working well together. At least Vyxsin isn't afraid to ruin her make-up. LOL

All in all it looks like a fun season to watch.

nana in the nw, I realize that Donald offered to do the vault thing, but I still feel Nicholas should have insisted upon doing it himself. Grandpa could have seriously hurt himself. No way my grandpa would have done that if I were there.
