BB9 Live Feeds and Other Stuff

The Big Apple Circus is doing its annual visit to Bridgewater, NJ. No, I didn't take this shot today as it's horribly rainy and windy here. There are flood warnings for all of the major rivers and the ground was already saturated from heavy rains during the week. Yesterday I saw ducks (real ducks, like mallards) in puddles in parking lots because the river waters were rushing too much for them. I don't think I've ever seen ducks in large puddles before. And that was before today's torrential rains. There are a lot of trees coming down and a lot of power outages here in NJ. My power has flickered a few times, but hopefully will stay on. We NEED underground wires!

My latest live feeds report is up over on TV Squad. It hasn't been a thrill a minute in the house today, but no major blow-outs either.

In comments MEB mentioned Randy Jackson's Best Dance Crew (MTV) and I second that it's very entertaining. You know me, I'm not into DWTS, but I enjoy So You Think You Can Dance. As I slept very oddly yesterday/last night, I was up at around 4 in the morning and happened upon two repeats of Dance Crew -- a hip-hop kind of episode and the Michael Jackson Thriller one. Wow! I love the group on skates because I used to skate dance! And, the other two groups I found the most entertaining were Kaba Modern and JabbaWockies. You can watch full episodes online although MTV does repeat them, too.

That's about all from here as I listen to the wind howl outside, fuss with my ear (the only remaining problem from the bout with the flu), and give my cat a treat or two ... or three. Remember to set your clocks ahead an hour tonight! Spring forward, fall back.

I went in and programmed the next America's Best Dance Crew Jackie. These kids are 1000 times better than the Dance Wars kids we had to endure cause nothing else was on.

I used to skate dance too...but that was 100 years ago... probably not the same as you, but that's how I met my hubby...

OK...since we're springing forward, I've already lost an hour of sleep. Til tomorrow...

Jackie...

Sorry to hear about your ear. I know how annoying and painful an ear infection can be. Hopefully, you'll be feeling 100% soon.

Your weather sounds really severe over there. I hope you don't have to go out in it tomorrow. How unusual to see the ducks in the parking lot puddles. I'm sure Roofus has taken shelter. We just had a wind warning in the news but I don't notice it yet. It was 80 and sunny here today. I'll keep my fingers crossed that your power doesn't go out. We have all our power lines underground and it's so much nicer than seeing all those poles and wires.

I'll have to check out BDC. I took professional dance lessons from the time I was 4 years old until college so I love to watch dancers. I never skate danced but loved to couples skate, that is if he was cute. ;)

After reading the latest BB live feeds report over at TV Squad I guess my nominee/eviction graphic I sent you this afternoon won't work. FOTFL! I'll have to check back in the morning to see if the "plan" has changed again.

Don't you just hate loosing that hour? But, it will be nice when it's still light outside between 7 and 8 p.m. I've already changed my clocks so it's time to watch TV in bed now.

Niters!

I feel sorry for James and group because they think they have the majority of the house behind them. I think the four of them have better game play than any of the others. Matt is a good looking young fellow but his cocky attitude ruins his good looks to me. Ryan is a follower and just goes along with whomever. No matter which side he is on, he is odd man out. If James and Josh would approach Ryan (like Matt and Adam) with them as final three, Ryan could probably be swayed again.
If the girls could stop being led by the guys, they could secretly (if only they knew how to keep their mouths shut!) have an alliance. The guys would get rid of each other as long as they thought the girls had no game. They already think Sharon could be swayed to join them if Josh is gone.

Thought I would share what the weather has been here (near Birmingham, AL) this week. We have had highs in the 70's,50's and 30's, tornadoes, rain, lows in the 20's and 30's, snow yesterday and today beautiful, sunny and about 60! My pansies are beautiful, the Johnquills (spelling?) are popping up everywhere, my yellow bells are blooming just a little and the green grass is trying to come up.

Jackie, I can't wait for you to post a Lost blog! I know why you have been sick lately, you cannot possibly be getting enough sleep with all the shows you write up. Maybe you need some Tylonol PM! Ha ha

Good Sunday morning....did you all Spring Forward? I did but missed a few clocks and was very confused this morning about the time.LOL

James/Chel/Josh/Sharon have a BIG SURPRISE coming later today. I hope Chel. still uses the veto(she was talking yesterday about not using it if they were not putting Matt up). She seems to think she has the votes to stay but that isn't so....Sheila and Nat. hate her more than Sharon! I must say I am surprised Nat. has kept this plan "Operation Tighty Whitie"(referring to James underwear) a secret for more than 24 hrs.

The food fight yesterday was funny but WHY did Chel. have to take her top off?

Life is going to be hell in that house for the next few days once James goes on the block.

Jackie-I sure hope your ears are doing better. I had the crud also and it has been well over a month now and one of my ears is still blocked. It is not a good feeling.

Hope you are feeling better soon with everything.
