Wow I loved the video of the "skate dancers"!!
Back in my 20s (BC-before children)I took up skating and it was lots of fun and good exercise. I was always amazed at the skaters who could skate dance like that!!
Thanks Jackie!

We used to skate as a family when our kids were younger. It was great fun, but we never tried dancing. Actually, skating alone was dangerous enough for me!

The ONLY dancing I do well is on skates. Well, not anymore. But I skated for decades and was even a skate guard at a roller rink for a while. My skate dancing days started with "Wipeout" playing on the organ.

I used to rollerskate too, but mostly went round and round the place. Did a ton of street skating growing up, the old metal skates with the key. I was a good dancer (skateless) but never put the two together.

Iceskating was a very short-lived fascination for me. After one winter, I gave the skates to one of my sisters.
