Survivor fans ready?

Debbie is thrilled to be back with her "buddies" and tells us she won't tell them about what really happened on Exile. Tai is nervous because he threw out Ozzy's name. He has two idols, though. Varner is ticked and knows he could very well be blindsided. Zeke tries to bond with him a bit and promises he won't lie to him again.

Reward Challenge time -- unspool ropes, release key, build ladder, climb, go through net, five targets with a ball. Playing for Surivor pizza - ten different kinds. Soft drinks, too. Nuku wins Reward!

Mana is all crying over lost pizza, lost dreams and how hard it actually is to be on the show. We're talking even Brad. Aubry thinks Brad is the most genuine person on the tribe. Now all love Brad it seems. If he gets cocky, he might fall, I say.

Over on Nuku, Jeff wants to target Ozzy. He feels Ozzy is too dangerous to keep in the game because he could win it all. He talks to Sarah about it and she seems to seriously considering making a big move. Hmm.

Time for the Immunity Challenge -- 4 swim out to rafts, collect buoys, solve puzzle. Mana wins Immunity!

Uo-oh -- they seem to be liking Varner. The biggest question is how long Ozzy might stick with them and will it be better for the tribe? Hmm. Jeff tells Sarah and Andrea he thinks Zeke is working with Ozzy more than them and starts throwing shade Zeke's way.

Tribal Council time. Jeff says he's sure he's going home tonight. He tells them that Ozzy and Zeke have a secret alliance and pushes them all to vote out Ozzy. He also asks Zeke why he hasn't told anyone he's transgender. He might have blown his Ozzy target right there as all fall in to defend Zeke. Now that he outed Zeke to the world, Jeff Varner is crying. It's a tear-jerker for many.

Zeke said he didn't reveal it because he didn't really want to be known as the trans Survivor -- he wanted to be known for himself.

Jeff went home without even a vote being taken. They all agreed he had to go. Even Jeff agreed at that point.

Next week is the merge.

Hellllllooo Ms Jackie & Master Vincent!

Happy Survivor Wednesday, friends!
I brought my usual - a case of cool Stella - and fresh strawberries & shortcake!

Jackie said...

Hey, there. Where is everybody? Spring break?

Becky said...

Hey, Jackie, Vincent and Petals. Petals, thanks for CMA last week. I was rolling when I read your post.

Petals said...

LOL - Becky, you are a wild one, girl!

Petals said...

I'm really mad at Tai for turning on Ozzie!

Petals said...

I've forgotten - is Varner gay?

Petals said...

*applauding again* for Sandra being G-O-N-E

Petals said...

Jackie - looks like you, Becky & I will be drinking all the Stella.

Becky said...

That Ozzie is one heck of a player! Has he ever won?

Jackie said...

I guess so. This is weird. (Not meaning you and Necky are weird.)

Jackie said...

He's come close, but never won.

Becky said...

Pass me one. I hope I don't fall on my rump. I swear that the new exercise I am on is kicking my butt! I didn't realize I was that much out of shape.

Petals said...

*whew* Ozz is soooooo sexy.

Jackie said...

Next week is a two-hour show. I looked ahead because I wanted to make sure it didn't conflict with the season premiere of Fargo.

Petals said...

whoooooooooo

sliding a cool Stella to Becky

Petals said...

LOVE Fargo, I'm so excited

Becky said...

I am going to the Y three times a week. On Monday's I use the machines, then Wednesday and Friday I do water aerobics. I go a bit early one those days and use the machines that work on the stomach.

I almost cried Monday morning. I only allow myself to weigh and take measurements once a week. I had lost one pound and no inches.

But enough about me. What do you think about the players?

Petals said...

It is weird. Eerie.

*crickets*

Petals said...

Good for you Becky! Wish I had your drive & commitment.

I am mad at Tai. I love Ozzie.

That about sums it up for me.

tbc said...

Hi everyone!! Limping in... got cortisone shots in my feet yesterday. Ouch

Becky said...

Petals, yes he is! If I was 35 years younger I would be very interested. Get rid of Warner! Leave Ozzy alone or I will sic Petals on you!

Joe in NY said...

Hi folks

Becky said...

Hey, tbc, welcome to the pool. I have finished whining. Why the shots in your feet?

Jackie said...

Ouch, tbc!

Jackie said...

Hsy, Joe. I always feel I should follow that up with -- where you going with that gun in your hand? (From an old song.)

Petals said...

Hey TBC! Hey Joe!

Jackie said...

That would be hey, not hsy, though.

Petals said...

Watch your back Ozz, baby!

Becky said...

Hey, Joe. How's school? Are the teachers ready to jump ship yet? I read the cutest memo. It started about the end of school was almost there, yada, yada, yada. And then it said, you are the teachers Try to contain your excitement and behave like the professionals you are and not like the students.

Petals said...

Grrr - Ozzy will never stand a chance to win if every single season, he gets voted-out for being strong.

Becky said...

BUT you CAN NOT SEND OZZY HOME.

tbc said...

Becky, I have neuromas in each of my feet between my toes. It's basically a pinched nerve of the toes and ball of the foot.

Petals said...

Ozzie, sweetie - you MUST win this!

Becky, Joe is the awesome, I'm sure. He's the "hot" prof! *wink*

Joe in NY said...

LOL. I teach all summer, so it doesn't matter to me. Just a new semester.

Hi, Jackie. I'm going down to shoot my old lady.

Hi Petals.

tbc said...

Tribal already??

Petals said...

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Becky said...

And Jeff wants to get rid of Ozzy. He has had a major player in every competition. I as calling him Warner

Petals said...

Ozzie - I love you! *weep*

Jackie said...

Hey, Joe ... you saw her messin' 'round with another man, eh?

SueGee said...

~~~SPLASH~~~~ Sorry to be so late. My day was HE!!
Home made chicken enchiladas for all!! Hope someone has some cerveza
SueGee on the LeftCoast
Petals said...
OH man, I'm so sad.
This edit is misleading. I bet Ozzie is leaving. That's OK. I am prepared.
He is the best player to never win Survivor, and I will always love him ♥
Becky said...
NOOOOOO!!! Petals get in attack mode and pass me another Stella. Joe, why are you going to shoot your old lady? Old lady mother or old lady someone else?
Petals said...
Hi SueG
Petals said...
***passing a cool Stella to Becky***
Becky said...
Hey Sue Gee, Petals brought beer and I love enchiladas!
tbc said...
I have wine if anyone is interested. I need the liquid sustanence tonightšŸ˜„
tbc said...
Wow
Petals said...
mmmmmmmm Wine sounds good. Stella doesn't seem appropriate for the exit
of my boyfriend.
SueGee said...
My next door neighbor passed away this morning. I may need something stronger...
Joe in NY said...
That was a strategic mistake
Petals said...
GOSH, Ozzie looks gooooooood.
Petals said...
I'm so sorry, Sue.
tbc said...
Petals *passing the magnum*
Petals said...
WHAT?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Petals said...
Varner is evil.
tbc said...
You have definitely made the wrong choice.
Becky said...
No, you would just open your mouth and call Zeek out. I loved how the others crawled down his throat.
Petals said...
That was sooooo inappropriate. wow.
Petals said...
And I'm a pretty good judge, but wow - I didn't even get a hint that Zeke is trans. Wow. He's a good trans.
Petals said...
It's so quiet - is everyone in shock?
tbc said...
Just vote out Jeff. Now.
Nickelpeed said...
I'm peeking in. Wish I were there. Won't be here next week, either. Grumble. Grumble.
SueGee said...
quiet waiting for the vote
Nickelpeed said...
I agree, vote out Jeff
Petals said...
Jeff is fake crying - NO TEARS!
Petals said...
Jeff just pulled a Dr Will - a brilliant a-hole move.
Petals said...
Zeke must've been on hormones forever - there is hair on the chest & stuff!
Becky said...
Good! He needed togo!
Becky said...
And Ozzy was safe, Petals.
Nickelpeed said...
Ugh. I can't stand Jeff!
Petals said...
Wow - I feel so sorry for Zeke, but thank goodness for Ozz!
SueGee said...
WOW Got to run see some of your tomorrow
Petals said...
Love what Becky was saying.
Jackie said...
Well, the Tribal Councils this season continue to amaze.
See everyone next week!
Petals said...
I don't care how big a bow they put on this package - what Varner did was EFFED-UP! Zeke deserves Humanitarian of the Year award. Wow.
Karma is a biotch, Varner - you will have your's soon!
Even my redneck husband from South Alabama is upset.
Thank you Jackie. I love you guys - have a Very BLESSED EASTER. God Bless.
Becky said...
Jackie, I may not make it to AR tomorrow. I am going to have to get my body rested.
tbc, please write me and let me know your foot problem. I have been diagnosed with neuropathy in my feet and wonder if your problem is the same.
Thanks for hosting, Jackie. Hopefully I will be here tomorrow. Take care everyone.
Becky said...
Jackie, if tbc wants my address, please give it to her.
tbc said...
Amazing tribal councils this year.
Zeke was so mature and brave during all that. I have a new respect.
Petals said...
My husband just suggested THIS as a reason for the Varner incident: Maybe Varner "hit on" Zeke and was rebuffed and outted him in revenge?
G'nite. Thank you Jackie.
Blessed Easter, everyone.
Petals said...
Sue!! Or who was it that thought E.R. was was showing season ONE on POP? They are showing S2! My DVR grabbed it today! whoohoooooo
David said...
Hello everyone. =)
Missed the party, and because of mother nature missed the last half hour of the show. Evidently there is a tornado in another part of the state and they decided it was more important than Survivor. A warning and scroll was not good enough for them. Since we rarely have tornado's I guess it is something important, but come on, totally caceling survivor was too much.
Ok, off my soap box. Thanks Jackie. Now I have to search for a bootleg copy to see the rest of the show.
monty924 said...
Sorry that I missed the show and party tonight. Got home late and just finished the episode. WOW, jut wow!! Last week I missed the last twenty minutes because the power went out and now this. Varner is an idiot and I'm not sorry for saying it.
Hope I get to party with all of you next week.
Everyone, have a blessed Easter and will see you all next time. ♥
Nickelpeed said...
You have a blessed Easter, too, Monty.
Yeah, Jeff Varner is a twit. Mean person. Why out Zeke? Zeke told him in confidence. Maybe he thought the rest of his team would be repulsed? I am so glad they stood by him. Jeff should be ashamed of himself. I've never liked him; after this I like him even less.
Carol C said...
I'm always late to the party. One thing - since I like Tai I wondered if it was at ALL possible that last week when he threw (our guy) Ozzy under the bus - maybe it was truly all an act. If he was really being that mean he should have used an idol to protect himself, so is it at all possible it was just a ploy to further convince Sandra she was safe?
And next, I don't think Jeff Probst was even going to let them vote tonight once Varner made his statement. He was sending the evil doer home. Period.
Metamorphosis
SusanS. said...
First, I don't post often if at all.
I don't like Jeff now or then. What he did was so uncalled for. I don't how in the world he thought it would advance him by getting to stay. Mean spirited and has never been good at the game, IMO.
My questions for yall is... I'm really the FB thread and so many are saying it was all scripted. What is yall's opinion. That never entered my mind.
Susan
SusanS. said...
Sorry... that should have read "READING the FB Thread"
monty924 said...
Zeke was on The View today, and I highly doubt it was scripted. He said that Probst look away from the tribe for the first time ever after Varner outed it. I'm assuming he was looking toward the producers that are on site during filming. They let Zeke have some time to compose himself and come back to tribal and Zeke said he took the time to decide how to stick up for himself but was thankful that he didn't have because his tribe did it for him.
Great interview if you can catch it online...
monty924 said...
*have to
SusanS. said...
Thanks Monty!
I was shocked last night. It will be interesting next week, as I am sure they will be talking about tribal.
Almost missed AR later tonight, dislike it is on at 10.
