Survivor South Pacific 11/30 Episode Blog Party

Survivor South Pacific

Survivors ready? It's almost time for the show to start here on the East Coast. As it airs, I'll be updating this post with major events. But the real fun and active discussion can be found in the blog party comments. Stop on in and share your thoughts on the show!

Time for the Ozzy, Dawn and Whitney duel! It's a balancing plates challenge. Dawn is out. Whitney is out. Both go to the jury. Ozzy remains in the game and on Redemption Island

Immunity challenge has one round bag tossing -- Sophie, Rick and Albert move on. Now the three are trying to break targets. Albert wins immunity and a massage! He decides to take Coach, and then wants to give up his reward to someone else as he can't take a third. He gives it to Cochran! Cochran's birthday is coming.

Ha! Cochran is lying about his birthday! It was six months previous! He has Coach wrapped around his finger.

Tribal. Oh, geez. Brandon is crying again. HE is the one who needs to go! If the Albert, Edna, Cochran and Coach vote doesn't get Rick out, they should switch to Brandon.

The tally:
Cochran
Rick
Rick
Cochran
Cochran
Cochran

Sigh. He's off to Redemption Island to duel Ozzy.

    Hey Guys!
I think my boyfriend's luck may be over soon. :(
(but Joe will be happy, LOL)

I am drinking at everything tonight. It has bee a rough day by me. A local, BELOVED weatherman killed himself, so the whole town is stunned.

  3. mmm...wine.
Bash is watching with me, is Joey with you?

  7. Helter Skelter, exactly!

    ReplyDelete
  8. Hey, Jackie and everyone! What is the "magic word"?

    ReplyDelete
  9. Joey's under the bed this week with his new bone. He just falls asleep anyway if I put him up on the bed during Survivor. He really CAN'T be my dog, LOL

    ReplyDelete
  10. Hey Becky and Joe... yes, good holiday last week.

    ReplyDelete
  11. How is the weather in your location? It is 60 here.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Hey Becky!
I am drinking all night, but so far, from the intro, "family" might be a good one.

Monty - Bash has learned to actually watch tennis, but he doesnt get Survivor yet...LOL

    ReplyDelete
  13. I like Sofie...always have believed she is the one to beat.

    DRINK, DRINK, DRINK

    ReplyDelete
  14. Cult, Manson FAMILY *** drink again

    ReplyDelete
  15. "family" obviously a good choice...we may need a designated driver.

    ReplyDelete
  16. The DD would NOT be me, lol!

    ReplyDelete
  17. Joe - you may be able to say goodbye to my island boyfriend tonight... (whhhaaahh)

    ReplyDelete
  18. Petals, is your boy going to make it?

    ReplyDelete
  19. big surprise. Dawn is crying.

    ReplyDelete
  20. awww, bye Dawn...you're cool.

    ReplyDelete
  21. This duel is tailored to Ozzie. I'll be surprised if he loses it. As the weight goes up, more strength will be required to hold it steady.

    ReplyDelete
  22. WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

    thank goodness.....
    Come to mama baby!

    ReplyDelete
  23. now we get 5 minutes of Ozzy explaining how amazing he is and how Redemption Island is making him even more amazing. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  24. Funny, the early spoiler leaks had Whitney in the final 3, LOL! Can't trust the spoilers for Survivor since the whistle was blown on Russell ;)

    ReplyDelete
  25. He did it! I have to laugh while we watch the watchers sweat bullets as Ozzie wins again.

    ReplyDelete
  26. My boyfriend is awesome!
    So happy.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Hi everybody! Jumping in late. Looks like Ozzy can't be beat.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Whitney is not all that upset, she gets to hook-up with the hunk at the Poderosa.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Lots of crying means lots of DRINKING

Anyone want a glass of Riesling?

    ReplyDelete
  30. It really is game on. 7 is a key number. You don't want to wait. You can split 6 and you could be gone by 5. You only need 4 to break away from the 7. We're going to find out who the players truly are this week.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Jumping in....yay Ozzie. All these rumors about Dawn, not true. I am happy to see Ozzie win this. I don't know if it was tailored to Ozzie, though. They were probably heavy, but any of them could have won.

    Penny

    ReplyDelete
  32. Joe - are you irked? LOL

    ReplyDelete
  33. Well, you called that one Joe! Sorry, Petals...

    ReplyDelete
  34. Joe, he earned it! Let him crow... as Coach gets sick to his stomach.

    ReplyDelete
  35. You can slide me a glass, Monty, thank you.

I should have brought some cheese...

    ReplyDelete
  36. Petals, I am so sorry to hear about your town's weatherman. That is so sad. It's a joyous time of year for many, but for some it's the hardest time of the year. That's sad. :-(

    Penny

    ReplyDelete
  37. Sophie is playing a good game -- keeps the target off her, seems to have a strategy and is decent in challenges, (Plus she;s my blog pool person!)

    ReplyDelete
  38. It's ok with me when anyone calls-out my Ozzy on his arrogance. It is true, BUT! He earned it. The man is a incredible player. And not too bad to look at...

(but really, I understand he rubs people the wrong way...)

    ReplyDelete
  39. Here you go, Petals! sliding

    ReplyDelete
  40. It's not Redemption Island anymore, it's Ozzy Island!

(and I want to book a long vacation there...)

    ReplyDelete
  41. WOW, I have Martha Stewart in the pool. I did not know that!

    ReplyDelete
  42. Jackie - Sophie is cool, she is smart.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I would NOT let Cockrin as my legal rep!

    ReplyDelete
  44. Penny - thanks. He was the morning guy, always so much fun. A shock. His co-anchors were like zombies. That it was a suicide was the worst news..

    ReplyDelete
  45. I think Ozzie is very good, too, but can understand why he rubs people the wrong way. He's earned it though. He does play games well; his common sense has A LOT to be desired, though.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Me thinks Albert is in trouble.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Just like I would hate for my life to depend on Coach Manson.

    ReplyDelete
  48. mmm...good wine, Monty - thank you!

    ReplyDelete
  49. Did these people think they would all of the sudden move to the top of the pecking order? Someone has to go. I think the women have no chance whatsoever. The men, especially Brandon, do not want another woman to win. Just for that, a lone, I want a woman to win!!!

    Penny

    ReplyDelete
  50. I like Sofie too. Don't think she will go to the end.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Coach has been playing a good game. I'm willing to bet he creates a Power 4 to take them to the end.

Albert really seemed smart until recently but when you are young, buff and athletic you are always a target. And to seem like he's coasting and strategizing just makes him seem like that much bigger a threat. That said, I'm willing to bet Albert tries to put together a Power 4 also.

We'll see who pulls it off. Odds are on Coach. He's got Edna, Rick and Brandon in his pocket. That makes a solid 4.

    ReplyDelete
  52. If a girl is to win this season, I'd like it to be Sophie.
There are so many floaters, Brendan, Rick, Sophie, Edna...
It could go in any direction.

    ReplyDelete
  53. I think Sophie can go to the end. She needs to pick the right side this week.

    ReplyDelete
  54. I don't think you can call Brendan a floater. He's been front and center on every major and minor controversy the entire season.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Worst thing about Ozzy being on Ozzy Island: not seeing him in nearly every shot. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  56. It would be a hoot if Cochran wins immunity!

    ReplyDelete
  57. Joe - shoot, yea....I meant ALbert. Sorry...(see? non-entity)

    ReplyDelete
  58. Jackie - yes, would be an interesting twist!

    ReplyDelete
  59. Yay Sophie! You go girl!

    Penny

    ReplyDelete
  60. Albert's not in trouble now.... I was rooting for Rick

    ReplyDelete
  61. That's a really good move. He sucks up to Coach and doesn't spend the day away from the pack. Especially this week when the alliance needs to turn on itself.

    ReplyDelete
  62. He might have needed that one.

    Penny

    ReplyDelete
  63. Mr Miyagi & the Karate Kid get to spa together.

    ReplyDelete
  64. I He,he,he.... Prince Albert lives another day.

If they were a smart tribe they would get rid of Coach. But they won't even consider it.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Geesh, I need a massage like that.

Good Choice in coach. He gave it up to Cochran? WOW, WOW, WOW!! Oookay.

    Penny

    ReplyDelete
  66. I think if they were smart, they'd get rid of Coach, also. This might have been a good strategic move, IF it works. Prince Albert will be busy tonight.

    Penny

    ReplyDelete
  67. I agree, Joe on the power 4 thing. Albert has Sophie in his pocket, but I'm not sure who else!

    ReplyDelete
  68. Oh no.... another stupid little lie on Survivor! Too funny

    ReplyDelete
  69. ALberts nickname is cracking me up, and giving me unusual visuals. Him in a can, him "pierced"...

    ReplyDelete
  70. OMG!! What a liar! Ugh! Not even the time of day - UGH!! These stupid people. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  71. This guy is the biggest snake. But, that's the game. Cochran, you are just too much. NOT my kind of guy. LOL

    Penny

    ReplyDelete
  72. Brandon always leads with his chin. I bet they didn't tell him anything that was going on

    ReplyDelete
  73. Equal? How can any of them feel that way? Someone has to go and someone has to stay. Very delusional.

    Penny

    ReplyDelete
  74. I wonder if that Jim eye-roll really happened at that time.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Here we go again....yuk

    Penny

    ReplyDelete
  76. Jeff laid that out very accurately: find #4 and #5. Unfortunately #4 and #5 are probably rick and Sophie and rick ain't going jump ship.

    ReplyDelete
  77. I can't believe Coach is taking it so hard.

    ReplyDelete
  78. That tickles the spit out of me!

    ReplyDelete
  79. Wonder what his chances are against Ozzy at RI?

    ReplyDelete
  80. I think that's a good move by Coach, actually. Rick is much more loyal to Coach than Cochran would ever be.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Cochran taking out Ozzy at Redemption would be the best episode ever! LOL I have no idea what the competition would have to be for that to happen...maybe Survivor trivia or something.

    ReplyDelete
  82. And where will Ozzy fit in if he comes back? His tribe is gone.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Now, can he win at Redemption Island? ;-)~~~ Go Ozzy!

    Penny

    ReplyDelete
  84. Ozzy will eat him for breakfast. But watch it be some puzzle challenge, something that doesnt require strength...grr

    ReplyDelete
  85. Wonder if Ozzir will feed him? And can you imagine the welcome he will get at the Ponderosa?

Speaking of Ponderosa, are they showing it on the S link yet?

    ReplyDelete
  86. Cochran did the best he could. Considering he was almost the first person voted out of his tribe, 7th isn't bad. He took a shot, almost swayed Coach. And he lost what? He would have been 6th at best with his tribe...

    ReplyDelete
  87. Monty, I agree about Ozzy. He probably needs to win out. On the other hand if he came back at #5 like last time then he can be the swing vote depending on how things break.

    ReplyDelete
  88. I do not think these people realize just how unworthy they are when they jump ship. It stays in the back of the other team's mind that if they can jump that easy, they'll back stab you, too.

No, no, Cochran can not win at Redemption Island! Bite your tongue, Joe!!! ;-)

    Penny

    ReplyDelete
  89. Ozzy's comment away from Cochran was funny.

    ReplyDelete
  90. Joe - I can just see how excited you will be if Chochran beat Ozzy. Geeminy.

Yes, Ozzy will feed him. Ozzy has a big heart. :)

    ReplyDelete
  91. LOL @ Ozzy! Night folks and hope to see some of you Sunday if I get home in time for TAR.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Of course they used you...Duh???

Well, we know that Brandon spells like his uncle.

    Penny

    ReplyDelete
  93. Brandon better win immunity or his butt is gone next. Now I'm really out of here, lol!

    ReplyDelete
  94. Thanks Jackie & everyone. I'm still nursing some blues, but this is the best part of my day. {{{{you guys}}}}
Joe - I'll fill you in later.

    Until next week,
    Ciao
