Big Brother 15: PoV Competition Show Blog Party - August 21

I'd say we might want to drink anytime we see a hamster! Hiccup! At least I know that the comp they will have tonight should be fun to watch. As tonight's show airs here on the East Coast, I'll update this entry with the major happenings. Refresh the page to get the latest!

As always, the real party is in the comments area. Please remember, we're just watching this for entertainment. There's no need for hate and viciousness. Let's leave that to the hamsters themselves. Come join the party!

Oh, and for those interested, I posted on the cast announcement for Survivor earlier today ...

Lots of filler with Amanda wanting to pit Helen against Elissa and vice versa.

PoV player picks - Aaryn picks GinaMarie, Helen picks Spencer, Elissa got HG choice and goes for Andy.

Veto comp! It's the OTEV veto comp for the season ... always fun. Otev is the broken-hearted beaver who lost the love letters he wrote.

GinaMarie is out first round. Then Helen went out. Andy out.

Elissa is a machine in this comp once she finds the right letter.

Aaryn out. It's down to Spencer and Elissa.

Elissa wins the Power of Veto!

Amanda tells Elissa that Spencer will go up, Helen will go home. She does this to get Elissa to trust her.

More filler with Aaryn arguing with Amanda.

Veto meeting -- Elissa takes herself off the block, promises to vote to keep Helen. Aaryn nominates Spencer, the safe move again.

  4. Hi Becky!

I just want to see the OTEV competition, lol. I love that comp.

    ReplyDelete
  5. oh, god...can't believe I'm listening to Helen talk about her final 3 deal with Andy and McCrae. How could she have been that dumb?

    ReplyDelete
  6. Hi Joe... hope the baby girl is doing well.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Hi all - looking forward to the show!

    Hamster > drink
    Works for me!!!

    ReplyDelete
  8. Sharon, that could be a good word. Helen and Elissa were shocked that we call them 'hamsters', LOL

    ReplyDelete
  9. EWWW Do we have to see that?

    ReplyDelete
  10. Hi Jackie & all you other good pool peeps

    ReplyDelete
  11. OMG THAT IS SOOOO NASTY MS. JACKSON.

    ReplyDelete
  12. If they say hamster or if we say hamster?

    ReplyDelete
  13. Sharon S, you have to admit that BB has a great sense of humor. I mean, that music? Funny

    ReplyDelete
  14. True, monty...the music and the way they stopped it was quite humorous.

    ReplyDelete
  15. I think Jackie suggested... every time we see a hamster???

    ReplyDelete
  16. Man Andy is Narki McNark lol

    ReplyDelete
  17. Which means, everyone should be pretty well potted by now! LOL

    ReplyDelete
  18. Wish Spencer would trim that beard.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Yo Monty :)

    ReplyDelete
  20. I think I actually have negative respect for Andy. I'm way past no respect.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Sharon S - you are right, Spencer's beard is getting pretty shaggy McNasty!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Does anyone here remember Howdy doody, that exactly who Andy looks like, I know most of you here dont know who he was , but he was a red headed puppet.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Does anyone here remember Howdy doody, that exactly who Andy looks like, I know most of you here dont know who he was , but he was a red headed puppet.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Spencer is looking more and more like Yukon Cornelius every day lol

    ReplyDelete
  25. Was just skimming Jokers and found this little tidbit"

GM says I am the one who has to see a shrink. Aaryn says it is not because they think you are going to kill yourself. GM says...yes because of Nick I have said things...
    and it went to fish

    Are we surprised?

    ReplyDelete
  26. Anon several of us have thought Andy looked like Howdy

    ReplyDelete
  27. Made it back from the bookmobile. Yeah!!!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Sharon -- thanks for sharing that tidbit! Guess CBS doesn't want to get sued if GM stalks Nick?

    ReplyDelete
  29. Anon 8:11, Evel Dick suggested that Andy was the love child of Howdy Doody and Dr. Spock. Fitting!

    ReplyDelete
  30. Well it's good that they are having her see someone but doesn't appear to be making any difference. !

    ReplyDelete
  31. Between the episodes and watching After Dark, I'm beginning to think being in the BB House has brought on some level of depression among several of these hamsters. Hiding behind a garbage can after losing a comp? The denial? Lots of crying.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I still think Aryan or Amanda are the clear leaders in terms of Game. I think I would put McCrae third in terms of actual game played. GM, Spencer and Elissa haven't played much at all. I think Andy is playing. I'm not sure how effective his strategy will be. But he is obviously 4th on the Power Rankings. Helen...I think she's 5th. She just doesn't seem to understand her fellow hamsters at all and I think she appeared more powerful than she was because she was playing Amanda's game.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I say we drink to every time Elissa takes someone out in this comp. ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  34. Doesn't McCrae see a giant beaver every day in the BB house?

    ReplyDelete
  35. Hi folks

Looking forward to see Elissa kick ass in this comp

    Cheryl

    ReplyDelete
  36. Lmao Joe .that was funny!

    Cheryl

    ReplyDelete
  37. ZING from Joe lol

    ReplyDelete
  38. LOL @ Joe... yeah, he does!

    ReplyDelete
  39. These fools are giving head bands such a bad name this year.

    ReplyDelete
  40. LoL Joe you are such a rascal

    ReplyDelete
  41. Lol, I'm drinking to that

    DRINK

    ReplyDelete
  42. ROFLMAO!!!! I cracked up when GM fell -- and lost an eyelash.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Judd in the mud

    ReplyDelete
  44. Ok, that was funny Amanda.

    ReplyDelete
  45. That was awesome lol

    ReplyDelete
  46. Live the dream Helen, live the dream

    ReplyDelete
  47. Helen really is delusional

    ReplyDelete
  48. I have lost all interest in the show this season.

I do not like to dislike people... but none of these people are likeable at all.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Spencer is killing this... what the heck happened to him?

    ReplyDelete
  50. Elissa can play these comps hard if she wants. Would like to see what she can really do.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Elissa killing it

    Cheryl

    ReplyDelete
  52. Too bad she didn't drown you, Andy.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Dang, I'm reading all the comments and getting so anxious for the show to start here ... in about 34 minutes!

    ReplyDelete
  54. That drinking strategy was too easy... Who cares? I'm sippy now, lol

    ReplyDelete
  55. Reading comments from things that happened today... Elissa actually has all the hamsters figured out. Unfortunately, her game might end up being hurt by allowing her sensibilities to be offended.

    ReplyDelete
  56. I wish we didn't have to hear Amanda's snide remarks so often.

    ReplyDelete
  57. I think I will just hook up an IV full of vodka for tomorrow night

    ReplyDelete
  58. I need a genie's lamp -- I keep wishing for things I'm not going to get with these people!

    ReplyDelete
  59. Ah, good drinking strategy Lynn ;-)

I may need one myself. Hmmmm

    ReplyDelete
  60. Guess I'm going to join in on drinks tonight! :)

    ReplyDelete
  61. Lynn, that's a very good plan!

    ReplyDelete
  62. Maybe there can be a big sink hole swollow the BB house and put us all out of our misery

    ReplyDelete
  63. I think Helen has conducted herself in a way where she can walk out with her head held high. She made mistakes but she wasn't going to allow events to change the way she played the game.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Cannot remember being this deep in the season and not feeling aligned with someone. Sad.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Helen makes gag sometimes

    ReplyDelete
  66. Lynn -- would like a facebook "like" button for your comment about the sink hole!

    ReplyDelete
  67. Now she see a red flag???

    ReplyDelete
  68. Poor Andy got his head beat up against that log, and Helen said he wasn't trying? Well, to be fair, he wasn't, lol.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Elissa's Valley Girl 'thing' is so old. The head nods and the whiney voice grate on my last nerve.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Helen, it is too little, too late. You have realized that Andy was playing you.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Amanda is super-confident...And it's working for her all the way.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Oh no! Aaryn just broke Helen's last bubble! But of ourselves she will go blab to Andy. So tired of Helen.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Anyone else besides me think the music tonight is hilarious? Drama, drama, drama, lol

    ReplyDelete
  74. I was amazed at Elissa's athleticism in that comp. I mean, I know she does yoga, but she's mostly been walking around like a little princess all season. Who knew that she had some of Rachel's fire underneath her plasticine face?

    ReplyDelete
  75. Lol! That should be of course! Think I'm done drinking for the night!

    ReplyDelete
  76. Amanda needs to go ASAP! shes playing wrong shes good but she needs to at least win ONE comp AT LEAST ONE!

    ReplyDelete
  77. I hate to be an apologist for this season, but I actually think it is in the top 50% of all BB seasons. I mean, it hasn't been great, but it has been watchable. I agree that I don't really like any of the hgs...but I also don't care. I just tune in to be entertained and I actually have been.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Saying Andy was playing Helen is giving Andy too much credit. Sniveling lapdogs don't play people. I'm waiting for Andy to roll on his back so Amanda can scratch his belly.

    ReplyDelete
  79. BB has always done a good job with the accompanying music ... even when the hamsters were horrible!

    Remember the Evel Dick music?

    ReplyDelete
  80. I hate to see what that house will look like when El and Helen are no longer cleaning it.

    ReplyDelete
  81. I haven't read anything on Survivor other than Jackie's post, but I assume they are playing individually (based on numbers), even though they are all couples. That really has the potential to create some enjoyable chaos. I mean, easier to form a large alliance since you are forming pairs. On the flip side, every time you vote someone out, you create an enemy!

That said, I'm not sure it was the best choice of returnees.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Joe, don't have to be an apologist. I'm loving this season, too. I don't like most of the houseguests, but it has been fun to watch.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Joe---I agree Ellisa's capabilities were a little bit of a surprise...but watching her work out on BBAD (a pleasant undertaking btw); she is extremely well-toned. Less body fat than everyone in the house put together. If that's possible.

    ReplyDelete
  84. We have gone back and forth on this mst o the season Joe. You are right, it is entertaining but I get a bit of joy pulling for an alliance or a particular houseguest. That's why it's feeling empty for me.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Mt St. Amanda. Love it McC!

    ReplyDelete
  86. Jessica, the BB God Dr. Will never won a comp and he won once and almost won a second time. In a lot of ways, Amanda is something of a cross between Dr. Will and ED...although less likeable to us than either of them. LOL.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Andy is the perfect 'gatekeeper' in that group.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Duhh Aaryn...you let Amanda run your hoh's ..no wander she treats you that way.

    Cheryl

    ReplyDelete
  89. Becky, when Helen and Elissa are gone, the house will look just like most teenage boy/girl room! Have to throw a smoke bomb in to see what comes scurrying out! lol

    ReplyDelete
  90. Can we hope one time her mouth gets her back door'd

    ReplyDelete
  91. Andy is going to need a ton of Chapstick from kissing so much a**

    ReplyDelete
  92. But, in the end you didn't do it Aaryn!

    ReplyDelete
  93. Oh, Aaryn, that was the first thing you've said all season that was worth saying. Why didn't you do it????

    ReplyDelete
  94. Too bad you didn't go through with it Aaryn
Could have been the move that won you the game in the end.

    Cheryl

    ReplyDelete
  95. If I didn't know better I would have such false hope right now.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Too bad she didn't put Amanda up there. That would have made for a wonderfully interesting week...althogh she really didn't have the votes to evict Amanda. Andy, McCrae, Spencer, and GM all would vote to evict Helen against Amanda.

I mean, that's always been the problem with people who think they should have booted Amanda earlier. No one wanted to.

    ReplyDelete
  97. I don't get why Andy is so tightly aligned with Amanda and Mccrae...never understood that.

    Cheryl

    ReplyDelete
  98. lynn1 said... Maybe there can be a big sink hole swollow the BB house and put us all out of our misery

Lynn1, with our luck Amanda the "beaver" and Andy the weasel woud manage to step on bodies of others to escape.

    ReplyDelete
  99. I don't know...I think spencer and GM would have voted for Amanda forcing a tie

    Cheryl

    ReplyDelete
  100. True, Joe. And as of today, they are still trying to sway the votes Helen's way. It isn't going to happen.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Amanda is a spoiled bully.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Please stop biting your nails McC.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Cheryl, GM might go with Aryan. But Spencer seems oddly pro-Amanda or at least pro-McCrae. So I don't think there's any way he takes Helen over Amanda. (Though it is moot now.)

    ReplyDelete
  104. - at least she didn't say "it's what the house wants" this time....

    ReplyDelete
  105. There goes Amanda's eyebrows agaim, does she look in the mirror when she's drawing those things, maybe her hads are shaking, whatever it is it's halarious. How delusional is Andy, thinking that Amanda is going to take him to the end, instead of McCrae, he can't see all he's been doing is working for Amanda and McCrae all this time. You get nothing from coming in 3rd and that's the plan. bUt then again he has won HOH once.

    ReplyDelete
  106. I really don't like Aaryn always using that excuse either. Aaryn could have put Amanda up and she DIDN'T!

    ReplyDelete
  107. The truth comes out. They are afraid of Mt St Amanda!

    ReplyDelete
  108. So, who do we hope gets back in tomorrow?

    ReplyDelete
  109. Kind of hope it's either Helen or Judd.

    ReplyDelete
  110. Huh. With the latest blurb, it sounds like the jurors might be competing with them tomorrow night for HoH. I guess we'll see.

    ReplyDelete
  111. CHICKEN!!! You can remove the yellow streak that makes it look like the sun is shining in your pants.

    ReplyDelete
  112. Lol..yep Joe..moot point for sure...tomorrow night should be interesting with the returning evicted hg,,,hopefully Judd since it was CBS vault he got booted and hopefully they tell them about America's vote for MVP

    Cheryl

    ReplyDelete
  113. Aryan really needs to move at 6. The problem she has is that Andy will never bolt with Aryan. So, as a result, if she rides it to 4, she has to win HOH to stay. (Which could happen against that competition.)

The problem for Aryan is the solid 3. It would have been interesting if she had formed her own solid 3 with Helen and Elissa. Power on Power. But she's playing it a little too safe. Not sure I blame her, really. She's got a free ride to the final 4. You've got to make final 4 if you want to make final 2. And given the competition in the house, Aryan could win her way to the end.

    ReplyDelete
  114. I didnt mean Amanda's eyebrows I meant Aaryns'.

    ReplyDelete
  115. So if one of the four doesn't win HOH, they're all back out?

    ReplyDelete
  116. I hope Judd or Helen get back in

    ReplyDelete
  117. Thanks for hosting, Jackie. Back to my book.

    ReplyDelete
  118. Goodnight all! Thanks Jackie as always.Wouldnt want to be anywhere else on show night.

    Cheryl

    ReplyDelete
  119. I thought they might do it like how they did I think it was James that one year where you come back but they can't vote you out that week.

    ReplyDelete
  120. Jackie,

I would assume the winner of the juror comp would be in the HOH. Did I miss something where they said all 4 would be in the HOH?

    ReplyDelete
  121. Cheryl, did I miss something? Why was it CBS' fault Judd got bottled?

    ReplyDelete
  122. Thanks Jackie..see all of tomorrow night

    ReplyDelete
  123. Thank you Jackie -- see everyone tomorrow (hopefully -- summer is over and I have to make the long drive back to CT tomorrow; planning extra time so construction doesn't keep me from BB!).

    ReplyDelete
  124. I agree Joe .with this bunch Aaryn could win out.

    Cheryl

    ReplyDelete
  125. Andrea, I think you mean booted, not bottled! LOL Still drinking?

    ReplyDelete
  126. Drama, IMO, there's not much hope with any of the evicted Jury hamsters.

As much as I liked Judd, having him return would still be "for" McRanda. UNLESS he actually learned (and accepted) that it was Amanda who started the "he has MVP" scare.

Helen still wants to believe Andy is her friend... even though she knows better.

Candace is too weak, but it would set GM's and Aryan's teeth on edge! lol

Jessie could shake things up just making them crazy, but don't think she'll do that again.

    ReplyDelete
  127. It wouldn't make sense for all the jury to play for hoh tomorrow, would it?

    ReplyDelete
  128. I was speculating. It wasn't clearly stated how,it will go,down tomorrow with the evicted house guests.

    thanks for,hosting, Jackie. G'Night everyone.

    ReplyDelete
  129. Interesting, Jackie. Do you think it will just be the one who wins the chance to come back in, or does it sound like all of them will? I just don't see how that would work unless it is the one who lasts the longest, or maybe none of the four will get back in??

If it's like years past, someone will come back in and then battle with the rest of the HGs for the HoH.

    ReplyDelete
  130. Andrea..I blamed CBS because Amanda was so damn sure Judd was the MVP who kept putting her up..but he wasn't it was us...lol....but they never told the hg that

    Cheryl

    ReplyDelete
  131. CBS inadvertently got Judd booted because of the mystery MVP nominations of Amanda. She was sure it was him, twitched her nose and he was gone.

    ReplyDelete
  132. Once again everyone buckles to Amanda's wishes. I just can't respect the way that Amanda is playing. I wish the HG would have the guts to put her up and vote her out.

    ReplyDelete
  133. I have no clue, Monty. I was just going by the blurb at the end of the show tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  134. Thanks Jackie!!!, See you guys Thursday night for thenderdome, everyone have a great night and day in the am !!!!

    ReplyDelete
  135. Thanks Jackie for hosting us again. I agree, America got J-U- Double D evicted. Sigh

I hope it is Judd who comes back in. TEAM JUDD

    ReplyDelete
  136. The only way to shake this season up is to get someone as HOH that is not aligned with Amanda and her lemmings.

Elissa really stepped up her game in the veto. Could it be that she has been holding back until now? She has been on the block 3 times this year pre-veto competition and has won veto in 2 of them.

    ReplyDelete

Joe knows BB. He has the best way of explaining the issues. I love reading how he feels about things.

    ReplyDelete
  138. Could be the evicted have to compete with the current HG's for HOH. Win and you are back in the game and current HOH. Lose and you are off to the jury. So it would be possible no one comes back in if that were the case. It is just a chance to re-enter the game.

That would be an interesting game twist they could do for future BB's or even Survivor. Let the evicted compete in next competition with the others. Win and your back in. Lose and you are gone.

    ReplyDelete
  139. Miss the get together...LOL.

How I wish someone could foil Amanda. As it looks right now, she could very well win this game. She'll be hated more than Jun from season 4.

These people should have taken her out much earlier. Yuck!!!

    Penny

    ReplyDelete
  140. Penny, I can see your point... but I would also say that they could have taken out Aaryn long ago too. Same difference. I don't want to see Aaryn win this season just because of her 'early' nastiness. We may have one or the other win this season.

    ReplyDelete
  141. The nastiness that caught the public and media attention early in the show has NOT stopped.

These awful people either don't think the public can see what is said on BBAD, or on the 24 hour feeds because the nastiness continues, on a frequent basis.

I've seen them rip people apart (behind their backs) on BBAD, and also read some horrendous things being said on Jokers as well. GM continues to have Candice issues and says some particularly nasty things.

These people don't let up on anyone they've decided they don't like, or anyone not in "their alliance." There is NO let-up and there's no real reason for how bad it gets.

As soon as a person is pretty much alone in the house, the Evil Alliance start right in. In the last couple of days, it has gotten so much worse about Elissa. Some of the things they have said and plan on saying/doing are absolutely repulsive.

    ReplyDelete
