Survivor fans ready?

Previously on focuses on the Natalie/Jeremy rift and David's alliance voting out Jessica. Eighteen are left. Who will be voted out tonight?

On David, the blindside has some wondering. Davie respects the gameplay, but is glad he has the idol. He hasn't told anyone about said idol. Nick is confident that if the tribe loses again, it will be again Mason/Dixon making the choice of who leaves. Carl is a bit bereft about Jessica going -- he felt protective of her. Bi says the blindside woke her up and game's on. She and Carl talk about Gabby betraying them. She trusted Gabby, not the others involved in the blindside.

On Goliath they're enjoying the fishing gear. John thinks he's growing as a person and connecting with people. He actually trusts Natalie and thinks he can work with her. Jeremy and Mike are bonding. Jeremy talks about his father, his background and his father's early Alzheimer's disease. Mike is worried that Jeremy has the reputation of a sneak (looking for idols in jackets) and doesn't want to ruin his game by bonding too much with him even though he really likes him.

Back on David, Gabby thinks Christian is her Number One Ally. She doesn't know his named alliance with Nick, obviously. Meanwhile, Nick wants to blame all the shifty moves on Gabby. Nick wants her gone so he for sure can be Christian's Number One.

On Goliath, Jeremy is leery of all the little conversations he's seeing. He thinks he's the biggest target. Uh-oh, he's voicing his concerns to the rest. Silly Jeremy called a tribal meeting. That will work as well as House Meetings on Big Brother! Mike thinks Jeremy is thinking too far ahead and it might come back to bite him. Attention is turning from Natalie to Jeremy as he might pose a bigger danger down the line. Jeremy is pushing to focus on Dan and his showmance gal Kara. He knows Dan has the idol and that he found it in Dan's jacket. Just the fact that he's sneaking around puts the spotlight on him.

Time for the Immunity Challenge. It's raining again! Not just raining, but pouring! One tied player will maneuver through obstacles, others untie ropes, hook a sled, puzzle. Reward is blankets, pillows, chairs.

Whoa! The David Tribe actually won Immunity! First time this season.

Angelina is blaming the loss on Natalie -- who's already on shaky ground with so many.

David is outright gleeful. Bi hurt her knee. She recently recovered from an ACL injury and medics wrapped it up.

Natalie asks Jeremy for his support although she's uncomfortable about asking. Jeremy tells us that she has poor attitude and poor communication skills. Alison said that Natalie has been digging her own grave all along. But ... now Jeremy's name is coming up. Now the girls are pushing him as a target. Mike still thinks Natalie should be the target and Jeremy is more useful to them right now. Now Natalie isn't trusting Jeremy. She thinks he's pushing the agenda against her. His paranoia is coming in very strong.

Tribal Council time and Jeff's Probsting questions! They start talking about the weather. Into the tribe dynamics ... Jeremy already calls out Natalie. Whoops. he really lights into her behavior. Not necessarily a good move. Jeff says it's not throwing someone under the bus, but a freeway of eighteen-wheelers. Neither looks good in this, but Jeremy might be doing himself in. Well, now they're talking about her bad first impressions. Hmm. Natalie, at 57. calls herself a senior citizen and not a threat in the game, but Jeremy is a threat.

Time to vote after the Jeremy/Natalie Show. She gives Jeremy Natalie Napalm in her vote.

The tally --
Natalie, Jeremy, Jeremy, Jeremy, Jeremy, Jeremy, Jeremy.

Six votes, enough. And, my pool guy Jeremy is history. He did himself in.

Next week, drop your buffs. I'm assuming a shake-up. It's too early for the merge.

I like the actor guy, too.

So now there are alliance names??

  24. Boy, I leave for a few, come back and the house is full!!

Hi Glenn, Petals, Monty, and Ed!

I would not trust Jeremy as far as I could throw him. I hate it when people go through another's belongings.

  25. Seems like 'showmances' are even less popular on Survivor than on BB

    ReplyDelete
  26. Oh man, the weather this season SUCKS

    ReplyDelete
  27. Well, they're going to get really muddy! I wish David would win at least one. Goliath is getting too cocky!!

  28. Thanks Jackie I'll refer to it!

  29. That puzzle looks easy. Almost easier than the Kaitlyn puzzle.

  36. These people are shallow, petty and catty.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I tend to not trust the editing

  38. Thanks Monty. My dish came back on and able to get back to this site. Is anyone living near the Hurricane?

  39. I have to look at Natalie this way...She's older and has worked really hard to be successful. It is hard for women to make their businesses to work. It's even harder when you are a Black woman. She's all business. She's had to be all business, to be taken seriously. That's how I look at it. She definitely is not friendly, though.

  40. my family live in Mobile, Fairhope & Orange Beach Alabama. Close, but not in danger zone. All have power as of now...

    ReplyDelete
  41. She played the black card to a black person! WHAT?!?!

    ReplyDelete
  42. I don't like Jeremy, either.

    ReplyDelete
  43. warming to Jeremy after his Natalie response, LOL

    ReplyDelete
  44. Yeah, Cirie was "harmless"!

    ReplyDelete
  45. I agree with her. They need to get Jeremy out before it's too late.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Why is the MMA fighter a "David"?

    ReplyDelete
  47. If he knew Jeremy got in to his backpack, he'd change his mind.

    ReplyDelete
  48. If she keeps this up, she will be gone. No blindside needed.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Uh-oh.... Natalie is getting super sassy!

    1. Maybe she was insecure or bullied as a child?

  51. From what Jeff said pre-season, many of the Davids might be considered as Goliaths, but they classified themselves as Davids due to obstacles in their lives.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Natalie is probably the most abrasive person ever on Survivor. Colton was close sometimes, but usually only when stress was applied. Natalie has been abrasive even when they were winning everything.

I know I"m a glutton, but I kind of need her to stick around for a while just for the drama. LOL.

She also stands out like a sore thumb. This does seem like a pretty happy, easy-going group.

    ReplyDelete
  53. I still say Natalie is the way she is because of when she grew up. I know she's bossy, but really, she grew up in the 60's. That was not a great time for Blacks. She's 57 and he's 40. She's endured a lot more than Jeremy. She's probably had to claw her way to the top. It doesn't excuse her bad attitude, but she's endured a heck of a lot more than Jeremy. JMO

    ReplyDelete
  54. I want a blindside with Jeremy. I know they need the strength, but he's abrasive, too.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Break these two up! Whose going home?

    ReplyDelete
  56. Keep on talking Jeremy. Just keep it up.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Loved the Jeremy eye roll :)))

    ReplyDelete
  58. Jeremy’s eyeroll is hysterical

    ReplyDelete
  59. The eye rolls...Jeremy. LOL Come on Dan...Jeremy went through your bag!!

    ReplyDelete
  60. It could go either way

    ReplyDelete
  61. It will probably be Natalie. But Jeremy will just find someone else to badger.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Natalie napalm Jeremy’s eyeroll

    ReplyDelete
  63. I don't care about Natalie's circumstances or upbringing. No one else gets a break because of their past(s). She is a RAG and makes my eyes hurt.

    ReplyDelete
  64. that smug b****

    sickening.

    ReplyDelete
  65. He wasn't going to last anyway. Boooo!! Now I can root for John!

    ReplyDelete
  66. They have to cut Natalie lose next time..

    ReplyDelete
  67. Have a great week everyone. Be blessed!

    ReplyDelete
  68. That was a blindside! I know he didn't expect that.

I understand, Petals, I was just giving my view why she's abrasive. If she keeps her abrasiveness up, she'll be next.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Thank you, Jackie. Greatly appreciate it. Will see everyone next week!!

Stay safe for all who are in the line of the Hurricane!

    ReplyDelete
  70. G'Nite All!

    Thanks Jackie!

    Homie I know it's Minnesota...….but GO BUCKS!

& All the best to everyone affected by Hurricane Michael

    ReplyDelete
  71. Oh I know Penny...wasn't arguing your point, because sometimes a person's past does play a mess on their personalities. But not her's. She is a smug, entitled player IMO

    ReplyDelete
  72. Well, Andi, Jackie and PDX Granny - we're out of it. Rooting for John now. I still like the Goliath's. Not all of them, but a lot of them.

Thanks again Jackie for giving us the hang out! Have a great weekend everyone.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Yup.... Jeremy did himself in definitely! But, Natalie is hard to handle!

    ReplyDelete
  74. I am glad the preview showed a "drop your buff" moment because I don't think the David vs Goliath idea has panned out. Goliath is too big and strong as well as lots of likeables and a couple of irritants...I think the entire David tribe should go home except for the robot-guy and maybe a couple of others...plus, the weather is just too awful. They can't fish. They can't look for an idol or chat casually or even make a fire.
Sorry to hear Jackie has ended up needing a knee brace. Bummer. And still marveling at Glenn Allen "riding out" the hurricane in a town hit by the eye and he is now in the path of this latest storm/hurricane. Pretty amazing. See you all next week..late as usual.
