'Big Brother 8' New Latest on TV Squad!
My latest entry is up on TV Squad. It includes some live feeds news, a short video and some screen caps you won't see here. A bit later I'll be posting some video clips for here and catch you all up on the latest!

Most of this country is in drought and now BB has them comsuming great amounts of water to cleanse themselves and towels after each and every dump for 24 hours. I hope the showers clog up from that junk, this total waste of natural resources.
I know,this house is so dysfuntional,just like all the hamsters. They all have to make and eat their own special little foods and meals and just the other day,Zach threw out lots of old food that was wasted. In the past,people in the house,who enjoyed cooking would make meals for the whole house and they would eat together and then some would do the clean up. Not this bunch! And I do guess "slop" has played a part in that to an extent. Sure they are playing a game,but they can't sit down like civilized people and eat a meal together. It's a game people!
And,Delee,you are right,another "brilliant" idea from the producers for another "stunt". We are dying for rain here around Cleveland and most of the state of Ohio. Really poor choices in some key areas this season.Case in point, the most boring,dysfunctional hamsters EVER in BB history!
Oh please MAKE IT STOP!!! I caught up on yesterday's happening before bed last night and woke up with a headache this morning! First they take the most unstable, dysfuntional people that applied, put them in a house together, and then make them compete in some of the strangest comp. They seem to punish the HG more than ever with very few rewards---This is becoming more like ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST(Jack Nicholson movie) than Alice in Wonderland. Now it's THE BANNER FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST. One thing's for sure-Thursday vote will be interesting since these inmates are shangine with every breath they take! I'm finding it's taking twice as long to read Jackie's post because I'm reading it twice trying to figure out what's going on!!(Oh, my head....) I'm really hoping Dani is just "paying lip service" Dick and will do what she and the rest of the house want. What's Dick going to do....not speak to her? He certainly won't yell at her like he does Jen/Kail and regardless of what she does I think she will have his vote in sequester. He's working hard to re-establish a relationship and I don't think he would blow my not voting for her.JMO Do we find out tonight what the new "task" for Eric is? BB should let it go this week as not to jeopardize his position in the house. They owe him a one week pass because of the banner. Haven't heard much of Amber---has she finally drowned in her own tears??
This game has created sooooo many questions I think we need a QOQ(Queen of Questions). Now I know Jackie does a great job but with her job, TV Squad, and this she is a little busy so the rest of you who get the feeds and follow them regularly need to become the QOQ and answer our questions if you can. Thanks to everyone as always.

Nana- I for one quite enjoy your posts, can't see a thinkg to apologise for. I too have been having to read and reread the last several of Jack'e sposts. My head is in a swirl trying to keep track of who talks to who and what flips by the second.
Jackie -- have you invested in Eccedrin?
Delee and Sharon -- yea, not exactly "green-focused", this show.
I hope Daniele does not take the advice of the rest of the house to nominate Zack. He is better in sequester and several of them need his vote. Plus I want to see ALL of the Houseguests having to play the game. By nominating someone from the LNR 5 gang means that people like Dustin/Amber/ Jameka/Jess cannot just float.
I am tired of only a few people being targets while 5 of them float.
I hope Dani does not cave to pressure as She is a target no matter what she does and so is Dick. They might as well shake things up.
Plus Zack is aligning with Dick/Dani/ Jen because they are including him and he says he wants to be part of some group. He would be good to have in their corner for votes now and in sequester.
Sure that new alliance does not have the votes to get Eric out but it is fun to watch and I think it cannot hurt anything as Jen, Dick, Dani are targets every week from now on anyway.
The main issue I see with Dick is he's got to change his playing mode, for you see on a " reality show it's obvious lying tactics often play a role in order to advance further " one can only front out various people a limited number of times, before it becomes evident to others; that perhaps person calling them out on their " stuff " isn't the actual person deceiving everyone else ( confused ) its almost like crying wolf although why make amends/ second guess after the fact? IMO Dick has placed himself at risk, there's only so much " fronting " however it all goes back to Kail, why is Kail still in the house? It shouldn't have made a complete circle in order for other's to finally awaken! It's a wonder viewers are dizzy! Eric has the votes to stay, lets not go in another circle.
This POV competition is just incredibly stupid, to say nothing of wasteful. What is wrong with these producers? We're supposed to think this is amusing?
I agree that the worst part of this really bad season is the producers.
Subj: Banner Planes w/Cryptic Messages to Houseguests re Shenannigans/Strategies of Other HGs
Problem: You would think that after 7 seasons, BB producers would have devised a way to combat banner planes.
Solution: Men in Trees (you might have a problem with ABC if you use this title in your job description.
Discussion: I'm feeling generous and so I'll offer this solution at no cost to CBS. Put your minions (interns) in trees around the BB house armed with binoculars, pith helmets two way radios and some sunblock. These banner planes are slow moving and can be spotted while miles away. Once spotted by the "men in trees", they sound the alarm (how about a loud buzzer in the yard) and the houseguests have 30 seconds to get into the house. Stragglers will be shot. Okay, that won't work. How about if any straggling occurs, ALL the houseguests are put on slop for two days. Simple solution. If you really want to thank me, make the check payable to

I think this is why the POV comp was so harsh as well (no HOH for 5 weeks, slop for the rest of the time in the house, etc...
With only Dick's antics and Daniele's showmance being of any interest for the last month (far overshadowing the initial dad/daughter mending), I think they had to do something. With Nick out of the house (there goes the showmance) and Dick getting far more out of control than they ever expected (as confirmeed by the MANY reports from HG that the DR told him to completely COOL it... Ahhh, guess the petition made some impact after all), the banner certainly shook things up.

I doubt the petition which was passed around via message board posters on the CBS had any effect on what has transpired in the house. From watching those particular petitions from the site where it was -- they're basically a sham and do absolutely nothing. The feedback comments on the site have more effect
It's more likely that Dick was spoken to about his behavior towards others judged on his behavior towards others as viewed by the show staff.
Something got to the producers. May have been their own judgement or their bosses... but I think the public made a noise (some supporting ED, many expressing concern) and it was heard. He is who he is, but they'll take the heat if he doesn't reel it in a tad. Whatever it was, any degree of reprimand IMHO was a good thing. .02

I know at least 4 commenters here mentioned having written letters on the cbs website via the feedback link. So that's what I was referring to, if not the petition...that people make their voices heard all kinds of ways. Maybe it was only the CBS staff but I like to think they at least are aware of the rumblings of the viewing public...
Yes, I agree with the last poster who suggested producers may be putting the fix in to save Eric... they can't very well replace AP.
I cannot wait to see the POV comp... I decided to wait for the show rather than check out spoilers. I can't imagine anything being more difficult than Janelle and crew DIVING and untangling things UNDERWATER... can't wait to see what this "total waste of resources" is!!

I'm seriously doubting that BB told Dick to "cool it". I think it is something cooked up between Dick, Daniele & Jen to explain their sudden calmness with eachother. That way others do not think they are alligned. No petition would alter the show, IMO, I think BB loves Dick's antics since it is the only action thus far in season 8...

I think it is something cooked up between Dick ***************************** I agree generally producer's rarely have time to view audience complaints, you'll have monitor's who'll scope various sites for positive/neg feedbacks, then you'll attempt to edit show's for viewer response, you don't want too much bashing on a certain individual, I have noticed Amber's behavior has been edited greatly, which IMO is suspect.
BB has no control over banner planes, most of those planes are also being used for high billboard ad's which for them are PR fly by's, they all have media said named logans attached to each of the banner planes.
We had had more rain in Tx than ever before, continuous rain has caused ranchers and farmers so many problems, its unbelieveable we've actually are sick of the rain!

The impact of the petition is only a slap on the hand compared to what its original intention was. Very telling, is it not?
