I have another post up over on TV Squad and I'll post more here in a few hours.

Are we having fun yet?

Thank you Jackie for your post.

It must have been a rough day in the BB House with Dick trying to get everyone rattled before the POV. CBS will have a lot of editing to do this week after this showdown between Evel and "the good people."

Anonymous said...

They're really good at editing. They never have once shown the public the perversities of "good people" Eric.

Anon 11:34... Exactly! I have to laugh when I think of the fans who only get the CBS version of the show. They must think Dick is... well a Dick & that Eric & the rest of his turds are wonderful. Lets be real CBS, everyone needs to know what an idiot you picked as AP. If Eric & his crew are "good people", then sign me up for the "bad asses", because I much rather be there!

You're right Jackie, it's getting harder and harder to root for anybody anymore in that house. What has happened this year? I understand ED's reason for what he's doing, but he is stepping over that line again with those kind of rants. There have been so many disheartening incidents this season. They are taking all the fun out of this season with all these disgusting comments. Stick a fork in me. I think I'm done.

I totally agree Joy! I mean there is good tv and its to the point where ED has gotten totally annoying and a bother to listen to! Yeah we get it you dont like them but geez stop ranting about it.. haha I feel so judgemental :(

I posted these comments on the previous post(anon @11:48) so if you read it please disregard

I just finished reading what Dick did and said this morning to the LNC(Joker's Update- scroll to 9:00a.m.-11:00a.m.). Please take a few minutes to read this and then all those who support Dick decide if he is the kind of person who deserves to win $500,000. I do not believe he was joking or "playing the game". Those words came from a place within him that I hope I never cross in anyone. If his mother is an ordained minister she is probably praying for forgiveness for him--he needs it.

In an earlier post, someone stated that there were Southerners who didn't know where Chicago and Boston were on a map.

I AM OFFENDED!

At least I would be if I had the time, I gots to go re-tar-paper my shack now.

Okay, I've had my little snit fit: Back to the Game.

I am so over all the house guests including Dick and Eric and Amber and Dustin and Jameka. I sort of like Dani but not a whole lot and it's not even her fault. A lot of it has to do with Dick as I'm sure all of the other HG's dislike of her does.

I don't really like Jen all that much but I think I've figured something out about her which makes me like her a little more. I think Jen failed to react to Dick when he verbally assaulted her and yes, I can't believe I'm bringing it up again, poured tea over her head was basically, her child care training. If a three year old called you a bad name and threw tea at you, you would let it slide too. After all when dealing with children, it's best not to lowse one's temper or to show fear.

As for Jessica, she seems sweet and nice and generally happy even though she stuck in the big brother house of losers. I kind of like her. I like puppies too. I can't help it; I'm kind of a sap. She reminds me of a puppy. Nothing really bother puppies, they're happy all the time. Otherwise I don't think that much about her. She's kind of just there like wallpaper. Eventually you get used to it and you ignore it.

I think I'm going to go with Zack as my favorite player because everyone else in the house ignores him and I always have to root for the underdog. It's just me. I'm a sap like I said.

Anyway as far as I'm concerned, all of them can go home tomorrow except for Zack, Jen, and Jessica. I want them to be the final three. I would love for them to suddenly form an alliance and ultimately pick off the rest of the HG's one by one. I'm kind of a dreamer too. I don't think Zack and Jessica have it in them though. Jen does. Maybe. If she makes it through this week, perhaps she will make a move. Wouldn't that be good to see. One ultimate alliance to utterly destroy the other two both of whom think they're in charge. Oh well, like I said I'm a dreamer. Hey wait, doesn't Jen know Boogie and Boogie knows Will. Will could be on crack and still have pulled it off in about ten minutes. I miss him. Anyway maybe Jen can pulls something off. I guess I'll just have to wait and see. And cross my fingers.

Sorry to offend, Kay... but I didn't make that story up. I'm half Texan, half-Bostonian. A Texan asked my husband (who has a very thick wicked-pissah Boston accent) if he was a "Yankee" and my hubby politely replied, "I suppose you could say that."
The gentleman then asked my husband if he was from Chicago. "No," he said... "I'm from Boston." The person, who ran a successful business down there, had never heard of Boston. But he had heard of the Red Sox.

Couldn't make that stuff up if I tried! Not trying to rank on any group-- no offense intended towards anyone. I'm a lover, not a hater, I swear Kay! Now gets to tarrin' that shack girl!

LMAO I was teasing.

I know what you said is true. I know there are those of us in the South who didn't pay attention in geography class. I could tell you where Timbuktu is but at least I can spell it. Hookd on Foniks Workd for Me!

I know what the twist is -- Their actually filming one flew over the Coo'co's nest; these are Trailer park scenes with real life patients who were granted furlough from a nearby Mental facility, that's why you'll hear various references to whether or not they've taken they're medications, Jackie no amount of editing propping would change my opinion of Amber, she is certainly top certified wacko, perhaps ED may use Veto to save Dani, however IMO Daniells' stated various times how she'd like to leave the house; if both ( D & D ) felt Dani's leaving is best option for them both, then by all mean's send her packing to Sequester home, where she'd have time to mediate, ponder, reflect upon herself.

Ok...am also from the south...when ya finish with the tar paper don't forget to collect the corncobs for the privy....
I was an anti Jen person but her comment about going out to hide eggs when she donned the bunny suit won me over.....also the tea incident....had she been in the south she would have had to wash her hair cause sweetea is a southern staple...thanks Jackie...;)

Corncobs! Honey I don't know what part of the South yu-un's is from but here in the Great State of Georgy we use the Sear and Roebuck Catalog for that there sort of thang.

I'm kind of afraid to watch ShoToo tonight. I have this horrible picture in my head of Dick standing in the kitchen naked rubbing the HG's food all over himself, spitting, and screaming at Amber that SHE'S the psycho! Dani stands nearby with bunny ears on and a big smile on her face, the top of Eric's head erupts like a volcano, and Jameka prays in the corner for all concerned.

Yeesh, the stuff nightmares are made of.

Ok, Jackie. Here's the thing: long-time fan, first time comment poster. I love your blog (and you TV Squad gig is awesome). Great stuff! I nearly ALWAYS agree with you... except that I find the LNC remainders relatively appealing -- especially compared to the nerd herd. The nerd herd was defined by Maggie, who was simply dripping with disingenuous self-righteousness (kind of like Dustin, I know). I feel that the game has become more self-conscious this year: people are aware (largely because of the original Evil: Dr. Will) that the game is about being JUST disgusting enough, that people take you to the end because you're disliked. That's why Jen is playing a brilliant game. I think everyone is precariously managing a balance of being just "dislikable" enough to be a contender... especially Dick. It seems to me that the HGs this season accept (with the exception of Amber) that you have to be a **** in order to advance in the game. That's why I was so satisfied when Kail left. She was in total denial about her behavior, which made it painful to watch. Nick was cool and good looking and all, but it doesn't make him a good player, just because he had real feelings for Daniele. I like to support someone who's a real player -- I think the banner was irrational. I don't think you can equate the nerd herd with the LNC remainders. The LNC have acknowledged all along that they're all totally players, which makes way for a more combative strategy. I'm both homosexual and Jewish, and although I'm deeply offended by much of the behavior in the house, I definitely see the HGs more objectively this season. It’s a refreshing change from becoming emotionally attached to people who ultimately aren’t worth it. I don't have as much of a strong opinion as to who wins, so it's fun to be along for the ride as they each muddle their way through the game!

Good Morning...from the Midwest.
Kay, Robin and Nana in the NW: You made my morning!! I read your comments and had a great morning laugh. That's why this blog is the first thing I read every morning with my coffee!!
And on with the show...it will get uglier until one side or the other is picked off. Then, when they begin to devour one another - it will be a bloodbath. From the very beginning we (Jackie's Crew) knew that this year's cast was very different (20's, little cultural diversity, remember the posts??) I hope CBS does a better job of casting for next year's BB.

wow, the people posting, a couple of posts ago, were really getting into it - it makes me see how emotions can run high, & how words can be said that offend - i can't even imagine being locked up in that house, it must feel like it's getting smaller & smaller all the time !!

IMO when Dick "says what he thinks" i tried to stop my kids from doing that when they were very young - when they would point to someone that was "different" in some way, & say what they were thinking or feeling, i would try to explain to them that it wasn't nice to say things like that, that might hurt people - we are all different. So Dick must not have had that lesson - yea, it's a game, but none of these people even act like they ever have any fun, or like they are getting to know each other before they get back into the personal bashing !!

i agree with all who are saying that this season is a train wreck - each of the players left their "nice" side at the door when they walked in !!

It's like let's just get down to the worst of each player, & let them rip !!

uggggg, if i was in the house, i think i would have to leave

Jackie - i just read your post on TV squad, & i agree with you 100% - i've turned completely around in my thinking about these fools - i think the thing that annoys me most about danielle is her constantly whining about not having any "friends" in the house - give me a break !! did she come here to make friends ??

Jen is at least cool calm & collected about her demeaner, unlike anyone else in the house

Anonymous said...

OMG Dustin is an idiot- now he wants to go up for Dani- what a fool, they should backdoor Jen and get her outta there, it might be their only opportunity to get her out. Shouldn't Jess put up like Zach or Jen just to make sure someone from that "team" leaves??

I would love for them to keep Dick in the house and have Dustin bang pots and pans over his head this morning, now that might be a nice payback

Judi - Thanks! I believe it was Dave who went home season 5 (?) for throwing things around and threatening his housemates. As for sleep, I look forward to September!
