Joshuah is quiet, for a moment at least. But I'm sure he's scheming.
Here are the evening and overnight events from that Big Brother House of Exploding Egos:
- Sheila thinks that she should be treated with more respect due to her age -- she left home at 14 and is old enough to be the mother of most of the houseguests. (Hey, they might be looking for a new parent ... I'm sure their own are embarrassed by now.)
- Sharon feeds into Joshuah's rants by finding them funny. He rants, she giggles, rinse and repeat.
- Sheila thinks that she and Adam have a better chance to win in the end than do Allison and Ryan. No one wants to give the money to either Allison or Jen (Ryan's girlfriend).
- James called a meeting with everyone but Joshuah and Sharon. In it he called Matt out for playing both couples on the block, making each of them think they were going to be safe.
- Matt defended his own actions by talking about the Operation Condor bit, but that's sidestepping the issue.
- Matt also used the "That's Big Brother" defense.
- Chelsia got all worked up because Matt acts like there's nothing wrong with making promises to both couples on the block.
- James kept at him saying it's wrong to promise both couples his vote and he needs to stop.
- Matt told James he wanted to make the vote 2-0, but didn't know how James/Chelsia were going to vote. James told him he wasn't going to tell him.
- James told Matt because he burned him (Matt), he's going to burn everyone in the house.
- Chelsia said she and James are playing the game straight up because they're not promising their vote to both couples.
- Sheila thinks it's very stressful having no clue which way the vote will go.
- Natalie thinks they're just doing it so Allison isn't at them constantly.
- James told Matt he's a simple man who's gotten himself into a complex situation.
- Matt claimed everyone played him last week. So, James said that he didn't like it then ... why do it to others this week?
- They finally hugged and made nicey-nicey once again.
- Matt and Sharon got into a kissing session. @@
- Sharon told Joshuah not to make confetti to throw when Allison is evicted.
- Matt and Ryan talked about how dumb Natalie is.
- All are asleep as I get this posted -- James wandered through to get a snack, but then headed back to bed.

Thanks for bringing us up to date on the overnight. I missed it all. James cares not if Matt plays fair as long as James knows exactly what Matt is doing. J told C yesterday that they didn't want to be the odd vote out by not voting with the house.
Funny to hear Sheila now wanting to be recognized as the elder and Mom in the house when that was her loudest complaint in the beginning "Stop calling me Ma!"
Re the air raid: It must continue the tie in with Jericho. Ironically since the hgs don't seem to be aware of that particular show. I could see the air raid being a way to choose a couple of them to go to something Jericho (a taping of the show? is there any event this week for it?) And could the thing in the hamster cage that James keeps talking about, be a nuclear symbol? Nothing happens without a reason and for CBS the reason is always ratings for one show or another.

Well,we had a high of 64 yesterday and today it is raining/sleeting/snowing and will top out about 30!That's March in Ohio for you!
A comment was made about nobody doing anything with Adam....do ya blame them? In my mind,he has to have bad breath ALL the time...lol.And do the people in casting just look for anybody that fits their requirements.....creepy guy,house slut,annoying voiced girl,gay guy,hunky hunk????Oh yeah,and they all should have foul disgusting mouths on them(thanks so much,ED). It's not so much putting 14 strangers in a house to see how they cope,more like putting "types" in the house so all bases are covered.Me,I don't like it! Also don't like the derth of older or ethnic players in the house. I'm tired of these "hard bodies" with no brains and no morals. Josh is getting on my last nerve too,he needs to go soon. Hope they all get split up and then,I'd think Sharon might do well on her own.
You are so right about the types, Sharon. I think Howie should be very offended that Adam seems to have been picked as his type. LOL I also agree about the bad breath! And who is Dick this year? James? which one would be pleased by the comparison? Sue
I think Joshua is this season's Dick. He is the one yelling and tearing down whomever he need to.
I know they are all annoying! But, the funny thing is that they all hate Allison and I think she is the most redeeming one in the place. She didn't get skanky in the hot tub/orgy night. Sheila turned the whole "lesbian lie" thing into a Allison lie; the way I remember it was that both of them making that story up. I don't know why Allison is taking the rap for that?? Am I missing something? Please enlighten me. As well as finding Allison the most palatable girl I think Ryan is the most "normal" guy in the house. Ugg...what a terrible cast.
At least from Jackie's writings tis am seems like it was a tame night in the hamster house.

Sue, The structure of the thingy in the cage is similar to an atomic symbol, but the colors correspond to the nuclear make-up. IMAO, I was not good at chemistry but think this is correct.
I am not sure why they all unite in hating Allison...I know she talks incessantly and in circles, but all of them are annoying. Maybe the pick up on her holier than thou attitude. I was not sure if she stayed out of the orgy because she wasn't interested in any of the guests or for moral reasons. Or maybe she wasn't invited. I didn't think Sheila would be quick enough to sidestep her involvement in the Lesbian thing, but she seems to. Of course if Allison leaves this week they will all have to find someone new to hate and maybe then they will remember S's part in it all. It might be a surprise that I think Natalie is the most truthful person in the house. She is who she is and no apologies, and she can sometimes sum things up in a sentence, even though not seeming all that smart in some ways. She also seems to relate to most in the house and that might help when the merge comes. Yes, I see dropping the couple part as similar to Survivor's second half of the game. If that happens it will be interesting to see if Matt sets himself up as Natalie's protector or instead votes her out. Sue

In the very first comment Sue (7:17am) mentions something about an air raid having to do with Jericho. Did they get more clues relating to Jericho, or was this just still in reference to the competition with the Hudson River Virus? Just wondering if I missed something.
I don't have any inside knowledge about the airraid, but I have seen some speculation around the web as to a tie in with Jericho and BB. You didn't miss anything, Caroline, that was just me wondering 'what if'. And Jericho follows BB in the line up on some night. Julie mentioned in the peanut comp that people 'shut off from' the rest of the world, and BB is and Jericho is. It just all seems to fit. I don't think it helps the game of BB and just seems to be an advertising thing for CBS...if it is about Jericho. The hgs don't seem to even know about that show, though. : ) Maybe the airraid siren will direct them to a TV viewing of it. Sue
I like the idea that the siren will have to do with Jericho....since the new shows air tonight maybe there will be a competition and two hg will get to go be on an episode of Jericho?? Or maybe they will have to vote for two people, not knowing what will happen to them and then they get to go watch a taping of the show??? Yes, your right I have too much time on my hands!LOL

Terry, I am in central PA, right by Penn State. I love Lancaster and the Amish country. I go broke at the quilt and fabric stores.
Your daughter did trade to be a snow bunny so did I when I returned here. But after AL, love the weather versus the heat.
My daughter did the same she is in DC, not near the Gulf anymore.
BUT! Allison kissed Chelsia (a long one) in the hot tub after nomination night... then James got right in there for a 3 way kiss.
Then about 2 nights ago James and Chelsia were in bed and James asked Allison (over in the other bed) if she was tired -- she didn't get what he meant and said yeah. SO then he said, do you want to come play with Chelisa and I and she said yes, got in bed with them, and they pulled the covers over their heads and bodies entwined. The covers came off their heads a few times, and there were giggles.... all had clothes on, but I think Allison engaged in all this desperate to suck up to some votes (no pun intended)...
So what do we make of that??

The forsythia and japonica bushes are blooming, as well as some jonquils here in Arkansas. Our snow was gone by noon, but in the center of the state they had 10 inches or so. It isn't warm enough for the flowers...just kind of odd to see. It gets below freezing every night still. Sue

I just looked at my guide on the tv for tomorrow night eviction and it says "one" person will be evicted - so wonder how they will change the game for the votes!!!

Hey there Miss Petals -- True, but I've done some extra research on him.
He mentions having a girlfriend and one of the bummers about doing this bike thing is that he lost her and how he missed her. He also said to Chelisa that he wasn't sure he had much to offer her once outside the house.
I don't think he's actually gay, I think he's one of those folks who can be with both sexes, though I think he favors being with a girl for anything like a relationship. There are bi-sexual people, can't he be one of them? I'm 100%, dyed in the wool hetero but bisexuality makes total sense to me. I just was not born one of them, lol.
