Graphic artist Zoetawny nailed it this time -- the good, the bad, and the ugly! It's perfect!
And it not just a matter of physically unattractive, mind you. An ugly personality can be much worse than any mere physical features.
Here's what has happened in the house since I last reported:
- The HG got a whopping six pack of beer for the five of them.
- It's wasn't the brand James had requested.
- Sheila told Natalie and Sharon that James is trying to stay and was campaigning to get Natalie out of the house.
- Natalie thinks James is targeting her because "the girl with no education" is staying in the house and she's leaving. (Side note - I don't recall James having extensive schooling.)
- Sheila is really enjoying Adam's Bon Jovi music from his HOH basket this week.
- Natalie says she doesn't dream about sex because she hasn't had any in a year and forgot what it's like.
- Sharon is sure that if Natalie wins HOH, she'll be the next out the door.
- All are in bed as I get this posted.

I think you nailed it,once again,Zoetawny! They all have shown their "ugly" sides at times,but,for me,Sheila is the most consistant.If I hear the "single mother" card played one more time,I will scream.Was she too stupid to realize that she'd have to be away from her kid if she meant to win this thing? Or did she figure they would hate her so much she'd be the first one out?? I am still amazed she's still there,after those first few days in the house,I'd have campaigned so hard to send her home,she'd been gone first thing.And the crying.....I still think she's hormonal and probably pre-menopausal.If the sun goes behind a cloud,she's crying. If James looks at her,she's crying! To me,that's not playing the game and I don't want her to win it all.
And last time,when Adam made his Nomination speech and told them if they wanted James out,then they had to work for it,boy,was Ryan ticked off. So,he just wants to ride the wave,have Gnat do all the dirty work and float to the final three? He has a serious sense of entitlement and I was shocked he actually stepped up and won POV. But he's still really,really pissed at Adam. Adam really stuck his neck out and I think it's gonna cost him,big time.
Now,if Sheila DOES win an HOH because it is tailored to her,I will be done with this for good. I don't think she's been laying off winning,I don't think she CAN win,she's horrible at everything.When has she even been close to winning? She's usually one of the first out,and not in a Dr. Will kind of a way,either.
auditions for bb10 in philly this friday. i am going down to check out what the auditioning crop looks like. this is a pure act of desperation. out with the old and in with the new. PLEASE!!
nancy in pa... why don't you try out, just for the heck of it and see how far you go... that would be great if we could have one of jackie's bloggers in the BB house.

Good morning all. It's a cold and dreary day here in NYC. It feels more like November than April, but at least its not raining.
So it looks like the game is truly over for James now, though I won't start celebrating just yet. You just never know with this bunch. In hindsight, I think Adam not putting James up initially was a good move. It definitely motivated the others to fight like hell for the POV and I think it took some of the desperation out of James - even though he knew he still needed to win it, its just not quite the same as being on the block and knowing that POV is the only thing that will save you.
I would like to see either Sharon or Sheila get HOH just because I'm very curious about what they would do with it. I have no idea who either of them would put up. Sheila would probably put up Sharon and Adam (because he put her up). Sharon would put up Adam and Ryan (if she's sticking to the girl's alliance) or Adam and Natalie or Sheila (if she's sticking with her Ryan alliance). What does everyone else think?
P.S. - I love all the new pictures.

Meb, I am still trying to figure out BB9's theme. I know they are supposed to be locked away from the world. It has a fireplace and looks like a cabin in the woods, but then there is the sunbathing in the back yard. Julie's clothes choices might go along with the snowbound theme...but again, it is just not making sense to me. (that was funny wasn't it?! BB making sense)
If they continue to choose hot young things for hgs, then BB10 should be done up in Bordello red with a cash register in the first comp.
Zoetawny, another graphic that says it all. The delusional Gnatalie with her self-proclaimed title of "good person". Poor "bad" James labeled by self-righteous Gnat as the "evildoer". And "ugly" Sheila who shows her ugly personality every day in that house.
I get pretty disgusted by Adam's personal hygiene habits and his awful quote about the kids he used to work with, but since Sharon and James are going to be run out of there, I'd want to see Adam possibly win because he'd be the only one left in that house with a heart. He also showed a little spine there by putting up who he wanted instead of who Gnat wanted. He, at least, gave James a fair shot.

meb.......now that i have stopped LOL in convulsions....i must tell you i am neither young (a grandma) nor do i have a body like a brick house. i am also never inclined to strip, sleep with, or get drunk on a regular basis. i would be inclined to play the game with my HEAD...all of which would prevent me from even getting in the door. but the thought was a hoot and will undoubtedly keep me chuckling all day!
i must re-tract past opinions where i really felt that in order to have gotten this far in the game there would have had to have been SOME game play... so that everyone there had done SOMETHING plausibe. i can't come up with ONE thing sheila would have done to warrant still being there other than "dum" luck. james plays outloud, sharon flys low, natalie picked up her game and works, adam works and is living up to his nickname, and ryan gets others to play his game. but sheila? is there anything she's done that i have missed?

Iam with you Joy. Adam showed his worth by giving James a chance. Unlike Ryan backdooring him without giving him a chance for POV. Ryan calls the HG names in the DR but doesn't have the guts to say it to there face. He needs Nat to do his dirty work. Hoping Ryan doesn't win. TshirtnLevis
When we say Shelia has done nothing I think she has done at least 2 things, and THEN a bunch of nothing 99% in-between. #1 SHE is the one who changed who Ryan sided with and hence put up at that pivotal part of the game, remember. That was the first critical shift in the house and she was the engine behind it. Second, she has influenced Adams vote an awful lot -- or did in the beginning, though he did the work of looking neutral all the while. In the end, he voted pretty much the way Shelia wanted.
Secondly, Sue, have you considered doing your own little blog? The BB trinity -I fell off my chair here.
I so enjoy your comments, I think it would be great to read your take on other things in life. Just sayin....
Joy N -- i agree with you about all you siad re: adam. His hygiene is awful but he is slowly becoming a favorite. First, I thought his DR clips were the most entertaining, then I noticed he was good at staying neutral without being underhanded about it. And he once in awhile blew up a tad in frustration and basically voiced what we all were complaining about in here... but not to be mean or manipulate others or get sympathy or power or control. Kudos to that.
And now, whenever someone cries, he cries with them, and it's looking 100% genuine to me. If Sharon can't win (if James is evicted) then I'd like to see him get it. Am I saying that? Yes, yes I appear to be.

I'm rooting for Natalie for the win, but if she can't do it then I wouldn't mind seeing Adam win. He has some disgusting personal habits, but I do think he's a pretty decent guy. He seems to genuinely like everyone in the house and has managed to play a relatively straight forward game thus far. I think if he makes it to F2, he will be tough to beat.

What WOULD be a comp designed for Shelia? I don't mean to be mean, but her defining accomplishment, besides having a son, which is a big one, is to be a Penthouse pet... a mag that distinguishes itself from Playboy in one big way...
So she was in a few photo shoots, and earned the Pet of the Year. That's a cover shot. And that meant a year of parties where she's a focus.
She said she lived in the Penthouse mansion the longest of any girl -- over 10 years was it, 15? What was life like there? Parties, drugs, sleeping late, someone else paying the bills. I am NOT putting any of this down, I am just thinking what her experience has been and wondering how you could build a comp out of this. I think she said she did not got to or finish college and her jobs since Penthouse have been restaurant hostessing and such.
So what could be a comp slanted toward her experience? Photo shoots? Mix a HG face with 80's Hollywood B-actors (who she could have partied with in the Penthouse days)??? Could they have replaced the mashed potatoes with forming long lines of faux-coke on coffee tables with other people's credit cards? LOL, I'm now amusing myself. Anyone else have any ideas?
As I stated yesterday, Adam is showing he has feelings and feels bad for James (Josh too when he fake cried). The goober grabbing, nose picker is actually a good guy and not like Natalie's "good"!
I still kind of hope Sharon can remain, prevail for the "evil doers" but I don't think Sharon or James now have a snowballs chance in hell of staying in the house.

Sydney, I left the instructions on how to add the picture a couple of days ago. Click on your name, then edit your profile, scroll down until you see photographs, click the little circle for URL picture and then click Browse. This will take you to pictures on your computer, then just select one. Don't forget to scroll down once you have it added and "save your profile".

I do believe Sydney that if they could come up with a dishwashing comp, or somehow polishing the table or fridge........Sheila would stand a chance at winning that. She is the only one to take housework cleanliness serious of all those HG's. But then I guess there is no comp suited to that. I still want Ryan or Natalie to win, but Adam is getting higher and higher on the ladder for me as days go by. Still will not believe James is leaving until he gets on the couch with Julie, and then Julie says good-bye and he is actually gone out the door. We'll see!

sydney...during the shows here there is a notice running under the screen about the auditions in philly. (i am in a suburb of philly). if you go to cbs.com/big brother, on the home page... the right hand side has a "do you have what it takes"-type place to click on. the audition schedules dates, times, etc...will come up for you.
Not much to add about the show,but it's finally a g It's 64 and SUNNY and should get to 68 soon. It has been a long,long,long winter and this is so welcome! I know some of you have had really fierce weather here the last week or so and hope you all came through it without too much damage,but I am sooooo ready for spring to spring!

Thanks Sydney. It makes me blush when people say nice things. I am too shy to blog...very outspoken, but shy. : ) If I had one, it might be called 'Through grey colored glasses', since I don't usually see anything in black or white. That might be why I can enjoy Natalie and antics (isn't that a good word for what she does?) but still not buy what she is selling. I can see James is playing hard and has a good eye for observing people's weak spots and the guts to stab them there, and still appreciate that as a skill rather than being repulsed by it. Biting his toenails does repulse me, so maybe I do have some absolutes after all.
Adam really seems to champion the underdog. James now knows that, so anything is possible on Wednesday.

Haven't BB learned from their mistakes with Nat.!! Maybe they are trying to redeem themselves so the world doesn't think Nat. is the best "the beaver state" has to offer!! If you go to Houston auditions maybe you should get some autographs from the BB wannabes. They could be on the show and then you could sell the autograph on e-bay--just like Nat.!!

Sharon is telling of her relationship with Jacob. No pauses for breath in between words, because she is telling Nat and Sheila and doesn't want to lose the floor. They don't stand a chance, Sharon is on a roll. I think most people who have listened to the feeds have already heard it. She includes small details. "I was eating and someone told me my phone was going off.." I didn't answer it because...etc. She checks the number, doesn't know the area code. See what I mean, it is very detailed. Boringly so. For all the irresponsible things she says Jacob has done and how awful he treated her, she spends an awful lot of time talking about him. Oh Oh, Sharon has just confused Sheila about the timeline of the Jacob relationship. She has to repeat to make it clear to Sheila. It is an amazing performance.
It is around 2pm in the house, the three women are in the back yard sunning with Sharon talking. At least two guys are asleep.
I watched a few minutes of Showtime. It was James and Ryan playing chess and no sound made the whole time. Did anyone watch it? Did it pick up after I turned it off?

Actually, I think we've not mentioned the primary reason it seems Sheila is still in the house. She is regarded as so ineffectual that she would be "a waste of an HOH" to get rid of her. rbennie -- I have gone to Orkmommy's site a few times to let her know we missed her and that BB was just not the same without her comments. Early on in this season, she did write in and say she was torn between AI and BB and I think AI won... though she was commenting regularly on Jackie's early TV Squad reports for awhile there.
And Plaidchick -- I would NOT want to be in that house for anything in the world!!!! :-/

Hey, Nana - I had a problem with not being able to remember my password. I finally went to www.blogger.com and was able to get it re-set.
After going to the site, I entered my email address, then instead of entering my password, I clicked on the "?" mark to the right of "Password". I was sent an email with a link to re-set. Now all I have to do is get this feeble brain of mine to remember what I set it to.
I know what you mean about sitting down for a few minutes, then next thing you know, an hour's gone by! I got home from work shortly after 5:00 and thought I'd do a quick check to see what's happened in the house today. . . . .and now, here it is, 2 1/2 hour later!
I saw that there's going to be a try out in Portland. Cool Beans, as Nichomas (sp) would say. I wouldn't mind taking a peek to see what kind characters it'll draw.
