Big Brother 15: Live Feeds Friday Night into Saturday - August 2-3

Tuning in

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of This Is Why People Hate Us:
  • Apparently, although the feeds returned to hugs all around, there were fireworks during the nominations ceremony.
  • No fisticuffs, mind you.
  • Now, that could have been interesting.
  • Judd said the ceremony was the kind of thing he loved to watch on the show -- exciting.
  • Aaryn said it was the stuff of broken dreams.
  • I guess we'll see tomorrow night!
  • Among the words that flew (allegedly as the feeds were blocked) during the ceremony were: GinaMarie calling Candice a tattletale rat and Jessie a "flip-flopper snake."
  • Hmm. They're ALL tattletale rats ... that's kind of the nature of the game. Look at Andy, to me he's the biggest tattletale "rat" in the house. He's even to the point of noticeably eavesdropping, then running back to report.
  • But, since GinaMarie has such vitriol when it comes to Candice, to her Candice is the epitome of a tattletale rat.
  • She also called Candice a drama queen.
  • I think that would fit Jessie more, don't you?
  • GinaMarie is actually partially correct in her description of Jessie. Jessie is a flip-flopper. I don't think she fits the snake part -- that usually speaks for malice and Jessie's more of a lost soul than malicious.
  • I personally look at Jessie as a little lost puppy going from door to door trying to be cute and adorable looking for a forever home. Those tales don't always end up happy.
  • They (the main group) think the MVP nominee really won't matter because they control the numbers.
  • Alas, they're probably right.
  • However, at least if Amanda gets MVP nommed again, perhaps it might make her realize she's not "all that and a bag of chips."
  • Helen tried to teach the others some Korean. It's really not an easy language to learn when you just know American English. The romance languages are definitely easier!
  • GinaMarie apologized to Jessie and told her she's sure she won't be going home, to stay cool.
  • Candice was only notable in her seclusion for most of the evening.
  • The rest all got together for the "Impersonate GinaMarie" contest to win a ticket to Helen's BBQ.
  • Remember, Helen won a BBQ and could invite three guests during the HoH comp. She invited GinaMarie (thus crushing Jessie's dreams) as one of the people. GM said that she's not all that into BBQ and someone else would probably enjoy it more. So they came up with a contest to take her place.
  • Candice was noticeably absent. Elissa was one guest, Aaryn the other. So, I would guess Candice had no desire to go with Aaryn there.
  • GM gave everyone involved honorary titles and the contest came down to a rock/paper/scissors contest between McCrae and Jessie.
  • It should have been rock, paper, scissors, lizard, Spock. But that's another show.
  • McCrae won, but chose the HoH room for a night instead of the BBQ. So Jessie is going to her precious BBQ after all.
  • Later on, Amanda got a bit ticked because she thinks McCrae doesn't back her up as she does him.
  • But, geez. It's hard to back up Amanda. McCrae found that out. She goes off on people and is too controlling.
  • McCrae himself doesn't seem to be a bully type, so it's not in his character to back up a bully.
  • I'd so love to see what his game would be like without Amanda.
  • Unfortunately, I don't think we'll find that out this week even if Amanda is the MVP nomination. Sigh.
  • Much time was spent trashing the now-gone Howard, the still-here Candice.
  • Unless it comes down to divine intervention (or Candice wins the veto), it will probably be Candice out the door this week.

Hi Jackie,
I've been following your blog as long as I can remember it and you continue to entertain me. Rock, Paper, Lizard, Spock! Great comment (and I didn't have to look it up to see what it meant...LOL)
Also really enjoy your off topic Sunday musings (being a former Jersey-ite). Thanks!

Ditto to what Mindy said. Thanks for doing all you do.

Helen and Elissa have skunk hair?!?!

Everyone has been wanting Amanda gone (which is inevitable); but won't it be a lot more boring once that happens?

My priority is still to be entertained (#1).

I am so glad to hear that Candice will be going home, she never should have been there in the first place, she might be not a good player, but she sure has too much class to be around this group of bigots.

The house might not be quite as nasty if Amanda was gone... the 3 bigots feed off each other. Maybe everyone would be forced to actually play the game instead of knuckling under to Amanda.

To some extent, Aryan has gotten a 'bit' better, which makes me wonder if she received some DR reprimands and/or coaching. But probably not since Amanda continues to get worse on a daily basis and don't seem to be called on it. And GM gets worse every day too.

I can't help wonder if Amanda will 'pay a price' when she gets out too. Jewish people have always had to put up with bigots, so it's weird to see her be one too... plus being a bully and a sleeze. One can hope she's playing a part (in the house), but that stuff slides out of her mouth a little too easily.

It's unbelievable to hear any of the 3 saying they aren't racists, but within minutes, spew the next hateful thing. Maybe in their minds, it doesn't count in the game?

Amen to the entertainment value.
Its a game playing out and some nice and some not so nice. I like having people in the house that keep things moving. I am not interested in watching a couple houseguests play pool at nausium.
Ditto for nail partys. Bring on the BB game.

Per the live feeds, Amanda is MVP again and POV is taking place now. She is freaking out again, obviously. I just wish someone would flip the game and quick! "Demandar" needs to go, the game would be a lot better with out her trying to control everyone's noms, etc.

Jessie won POV

Judd indicating he threw it to Jessie.
This could get interesting if Jessie pulled Candice off. Boy, would that tee-off a few people!! lol
It would be Spence or Judd in her place tho. Wouldn't mind Spence, but I'd like Judd to stick around.

YAY! I haven't watched or read Jokers, b/c lately it makes me to upset.
Glad to see JessieClaire won. She will use it on herself, so that will be Amanda, Candice & Spencer on the block.

I hate that Judd is sniffing around on Jess now (again), that she won something.
He is SO like those guys in school that liked a girl, but had to pretend he didn't cuz the "popular" girls would ridicule him.

In the GM impersonator 'show' Candice was there, I'm pretty sure; it was Josh who slept

Petals said...

Susan, you are right, Candi was there. I didn't want to say anything...And, yes - Judd was missing, he slept.

"Jewish people have always had to put up with bigots, so it's weird to see her be one too..."

So true, Sharon, I had the same thoughts.

Susan and Petals: Yes, Candice was a judge. Judd was sleeping. (Petals: Same here, didn't want to say anything but I happend to be watching the feeds at the time)

Once again bringing me to: Thank you so much, Jackie!! I can rarely stand to watch more than several minutes. You're SO dedicated and manage to encapsulate things so well and with humor.

Not so weird to see a Jewish bigot, or a black bigot, or a Hispanic bigot, or a gay bigot, or a white bigot, or a woman sexist...it's only the Victimology Bible that declares that only the "dominant" socio-economic group are bigots. Frankly, the most openly race bigots I know are Jewish. (Of course, I'm in NY. Probably different in the South.)

And just because Jessie is a drama queen doesn't mean Candice is not. The house is big enough for 2 drama queens. And, frankly, I think Amanda is a bit of a drama queen also. So that's 3 drama queens. And Elissa has had her moments as well. Oddly, unlike past seasons, there doesn't seem to be any male drama queens.

Weird- I thought GinaMarie was the biggest drama queen of them all. Sobbing over a guy she knew for a couple weeks? Also, if I am correct, she is also know working with people who threw Nick out. That makes a flip flopper. So, as you can see, everyone in this game needs to be a rat to play the game. So, all this drama queen BS about being loyal is crap.

i love big brother and all but if candice leaves in stead of amanda i would stop watching the show. amanda, helen, andy,gm,and aaryn are the reason to why this show is so boring now b/c everyone is listening to them and no one is playing their own game and is just relying on them to tell them what to do. last night what gm said was really ignorant by calling candice a rat and then the racist ones are just laughing. cant big brother just get rid of them b/c with them on they loose a lot of ratings
