Big Brother 15: Live Feeds Into Tuesday Morning - August 5-6

Too bad it will fade before Thursday

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Spuyten Duyvil (NOT to be confused with NYC!):
  • When Jessie told Amanda she looked black, Amanda replied, "I look like a migrant worker. I look like a slave."
  • When Aaryn laughed and said that was racist, Amanda replied,"It's not racist if it's true and it's not sexual harassment if you're good-looking."
  • Tsk, tsk.
  • I personally don't recall ever seeing any depictions of slaves with goggle marks on their faces. I have no clue why she brought up the word "slave" at all.
  • GinaMarie was allowed to remove her cone of shame. That was only to be on until Monday after PoV ceremony.
  • Candice must wear the clown-itard until the end of the week (or eviction).
  • Spencer thinks that if Helen talked to her mother in English, she'd be forced to learn it.
  • Helen has no desire to do that.
  • I'd say it's none of Spencer's business. And, as long as Helen is in this house of weirdos, it might be for the best that she doesn't understand English.
  • Now Amanda thinks she looks like a coal miner. Yes, that's better. They might have goggle marks.
  • Elissa claimed that Jessie said girls are always jealous of her because she's so pretty.
  • @@
  • Not that she's unattractive, mind you. I just think the combination of being so needy and insecure added in with "I'm so pretty, all are jealous" takes her down a dangerous road in life.
  • Elissa helped GinaMarie with her hair dye.
  • Amanda is sure that Judd's the MVP putting her on the block. She told McCrae they need to get rid of him.
  • Aaryn told Jessie that she doesn't want her family embarrassed by anything she's said or done in the house. She said she's dreading talking to her agent.
  • Um. Well.
  • Too late now, girl!
  • Aaryn is tiring of GinaMarie always being "on."
  • She did have one of the best lines of the night when she told Judd that "GinaMarie is not an escape. She's like a trip to the insane asylum." -- when they were discussing how there is no privacy or escape in the house.
  • I actually agree with her on that one.
  • They pointed out how GinaMarie acts like a kid all the time and she's one of the "older" ones in the house. They're right!
  • Judd and Aaryn talked about Andy running to tell Amanda everything.
  • Helen made dinner for all. McCrae and Amanda slept through it.
  • Aha, someone finally thought of a double eviction coming "soon." It was McCrae and Spencer and they're not realizing how soon it will be!
  • McCrae thinks if it happens one of the following will get the boot: himself, Amanda, Helen or Elissa.
  • Amanda, please.
  • Thank you.
  • Although I'm pretty sure the cause is moot at this point, Candice is campaigning to save herself. She's going for Helen, Elissa, Andy and Jessie.
  • She told Judd she would cook him bacon every day if he keeps her in the house.
  • Now, previous hamster Adam Poch would have jumped all over that deal!
  • Aaryn and GinaMarie are still steadfast on a Candice exit, mostly for personal hate reasons instead of looking at the big picture of the end game.

A clown and friends

Ew. She's touching Spencer!

Blond once again

August 5th to 6th Jackie. Tee hee! You're one day ahead in your post title!

Elissa did a great job, she's a trained stylist. I was worried that if anything went wrong, GutterMouth would flip-out on Elissa.

Jackie - that tan should last several days. When I spray tan, it does.

Thanks for watching this nightmare. It has become too difficult for me.

Worse year ever. Find myself wishing it would move faster to get it behind us. Hard to pick a favorite in the whole bunch. Guess it is Judd.

I agree.

{by the way, I like JessieClaire. I am super disappointed in McJudd for selling his soul to the Dark Side. Shame on him for talking about Jessie as badly as he does, and then playing kissy-face every night}

Is it just my imagination, or is this cast supremely more aware of "JURY" than any other season? I mean, it's always "jury jury jury". What's different this year? Or did I just not notice it in past seasons...

Witt said...

Hi Petals, it seems to be a growing trend...the jury thing. I say, it's for 500Gs, aim higher! For some reason that's all they are aiming for, not for final two.

I'm also very disappointed in Judd. Someone yesterday pointed out that he dumped Jessie to hang out with the cheerleaders (kind of reminds me of that movie Can't Buy Me Love -- wow, isn't that a blast from the past?)

I find it just a bit hilarious that Aaryn is just NOW worried about talking to her agent, or the effect her behavior has had on her family. Now that it's been weeks and weeks that she's been saying/doing the things she has, seems a bit late, like shutting the barn door once the horse ran out.

It's pouring here in MD. We've been getting our rain mostly overnight recently, so to see it in the light seems strange!

Witt :)

RBennie said...

It does seem like the goal is to get to jury rather than to win the game. Do they get more money if they make it to jury? I can understand why that would be so important to the pizza boy, but are all these people hurting for money that much?

~~Silk said...

There have been a lot of words used to describe Amanda. I've finally decided on "coarse". She's coarse.

Amanda'd better take a wire brush to her skin before Thursday, or Aaryn might get confused and vote her out.

~~Silk said...

They do get a bit more money on the jury. They're paid for all the time they're sequestered.

~~Silk said...

Oh, more important to these folks, if you're on the jury, you get more screen time than if you're not.

Petals said...

Silk - the trifecta! LOL Yes,
1. Amanda is definitely coarse (very diplomatic)
2. Jury paid more, and
3. More camera time!

Funny, tho - I can't remember a single thing that the jury did or said from previous seasons. Yikes.

Petals said...

Witt - there are many 80s movies that come to mind this season. Sad. Not only in the BB house, but as a society I see us regressing. But that is a political thing.

Yeah, Witt - I am of the 80s crew. Too young to know better and too old to forget.

Jun song, winner of BB4, has announced that she has had it with BB15 and won't be watching or reporting any more. Spencer's comment yesterday about liking kiddy you-know-what, especially when filmed in a basement, was the last straw. Jun's article: http://jundishes.com/2013/08/06/big-brother-hiatus/.

I don't know if links in comments will show up. If not, just search for "jun hiatus big brother".

Petals said...

I saw the Spencer thing. It really was a joke he played with McRae, albeit a tasteless one.

Out of context, it sounds criminal, but if you watch, it appears to be a total joke.

I'm surprised that the kiddie thing is what upset Jun, considering...

~~Silk said...

It was simply the last straw. Joke or not, it's not something you joke about.

I heard Spencers comment and he should be evicted from the house ASAP. He is a very very disturbed person. The way he watches the girls in the bathroom sitting there with sunglasses on...opening and closing the robe when they were dancing in the HOH room..all depict someone that needs to go. I cannot stand the sight of him. The talk of child P-#@$ was the frosting on the cake for me. Shame on BB for putting up with that. Its much different than what everyone dislikes about Amanda and Aaryn. Totally!! All of Spencers ugly talk about women has all the signs of something icky!

Petals said...

Spencer is crude, yeah. But he has been that way from Day 1. "butterscotch" and all the other sex talk. I guess the HGs are used to it.

Petals said...

Silk, I like your new avatar pic! You guys look very happy. This season must be particularly difficult. I can't believe these people, are they completely unaware of the cameras?? urgh

~~Silk said...

Thank you, Petals. That's the only photo I had that didn't show his face (he doesn't want his photo on the internet) We met at a Mensa gathering in 2007.

Sharon N said...

Makes me wonder if Spence will still have his girlfriend, Marilyn, when he gets home. He has gone into quite the detail of their sex life. Or maybe she's the same way and doesn't mind? ick, that's a terrible thought!

Anonymous said...

Spencer has made comments everyday that just takes it TOO FAR. This time he really went South. They should not leave him on the show. Child Porn is not a joking matter and it goes so much further than poor taste on his part. SHAME ON HIM/

IAgirlsmom said...

I wonder if I am missing something? Amanda hasn't made it a secret that Judd is likely her next target (due to the incorrect MVP assumption). So why wouldn't lurking Andy tell Judd that?! Judd could be the vote they need to oust Amanda.
I am happy to say I don't see the live feeds. The Spencer editing doesn't portray the creep he really is.

Sharon N said...

Agirlsmom - Since Andy is with Amanda & McC and tells them everything (he's the rat), he really doesn't care if Judd goes, or anyone else... just as long as he (Andy) makes it to flippin' Jury... their one big heart's desire. @@

Anonymous said...

I hope production has a chat with the houseguests in the DR about Spencer and they get rid of that creepy horrible person. The TV version of the show will let him get away with all this bad behavior. He is a poster boy for extreme bad behavior. Done with him.

David said...

Candice was reading my mind last night. I was thinking why doesn't someone tell Amanda that McC has been the MVP for the last 3 weeks and everyone but her knows it but won't tell her and he is tired of her messing up his game.

She and Helen got part way there thinking McC could be MVP but didn't go all the way with it. I would love to see Amanda's reaction to that.

Petals said...

LOL @SHaron "one big hearts desire"
IKR!?! What the heck?

That's like always dreaming of being a contestant in a beauty pageant, but never the winner.

Petals said...

I'd still rather have Spencer & Marilyn over to my house for dinner over GM (I don't own Legos or Barbies), Aryan (nor any flammable crosses), and McManda (my bed is for my husband & myself only).

Sharon N said...

LMAO Petals!!! True that.
I keep hoping he's not as bad out of the BB house, but my dad worked for the railroad and came home with what everyone called "railroad jokes." Not in the same realm as what Spence says, but...

~~Silk said...

My Grampa was an engineer/conductor on the old Phoebe Snow, back when it was the Lackawanna Railroad, and if he ever brought roundhouse jokes home to my Gramma, he'd have been sleeping under the porch. Possibly with six feet of soil as a blanket.

Sharon N said...

Silk - yup, mom didn't appreciate that kind of "humor" either.
Even though we weren't around to hear, mom knew all kids have BIG ears and made him clean it up... fast. As kids, we probably wouldn't have understood anyway, but as an adult today, I don't like "dirty" jokes... gross and not funny.

~~Silk said...

I don't understand. They're voting out people they recognize as having "poor game play", "nobody likes", "nobody trusts", like Howard, Candice, Jessie. But, uh, aren't they precisely the type you'd want to keep, as less effective, easier to manipulate, and less likely to garner final votes?

Yeah, it's all personal animosity and revenge, I guess.

Sharon N said...

They expect/want Jessie and Judd to be the next victims. Jessie for whatever reason, and Judd because he's suspected to be MVP... oh, and smart. @@

~~Silk said...

Sharon - it's called being refined, respectable. Seems to be in short supply these days.

~~Silk said...

Uh, Sharon, the above comment is referring to your mother, not to Judd!

Anonymous said...

Railroad jokes.....What Spencer said does not seem joke worthy to me and having him to my house over ANY OF THE OTHER HOUSEGUESTS would not be an option. I say said that creep to JAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe I am not aware of what a joke is. Its never child porn IMHO.

Sissy said...

That's funny, Judd telling Helen that she should speak to her mother in English so she would learn it. I had just the opposite conversation with my mom (who is from a foreign country). Although she spoke English, she refused to speak to me in English and her reasoning was (and it makes sense)"You will always know how to speak English but if you quit speaking Latvian you will forget how to speak it and it's always nice to speak 2 languages". I guess she's right but now that she has passed, I have no one to speak it with except for my brothers but I don't see that happening..lol

Chauncey said...

been watching BB for awhile and reading Jackies blog for a while also and never have seen as many comments about how terrible the hamsters are and how personal they are playing the game instead of being strategic. this has to be the worse group ever. i have said for years and others as well that if they had a more diverse group, maybe the game could get better. its always gonna be 1 black male (maybe), 1 black female, 1 gay person (male or female, never both), maybe someone over 35 but never more than 1, maybe a nerd or somebody to stir the pot and a bunch of attractive hamsters.

Petals said...

Hey Chauncey! Glad to see you are still hanging around.
Yes. This is indeed a hard cast to watch. Particularly the HGs who were "recruited".

Sharon N said...

GM tried to write her HOH blog and very upset because she says she can't write or spell anything. Couldn't even spell Helen's name or Chicago.

As much as I dislike GM being so crass (among other things), it's nice that Helen, Andy and Amanda have been trying to comfort her. Nobody likes to be embarrassed.

Over the years, GM may have been 'skating by' on her looks and not putting much into her education (even elementary), but after listening to her talk the last few weeks, my inclination is that she *might* have some kind of learning disability. Maybe frustration is leading to the kind of foul language she had displayed.

In this situation, I feel bad for GM, but still can't bring myself to like her.

Petals said...

Thanks Sharon - you ended on a positive note. LOL
You'd think with having a private shame would make more tolerant of others shortcomings. Nope. She is an idiot through-n-through, IMO

Sharon N said...

Petals - I think it's possible that her "private shame" is what leads to her general attitude... jealousy, anger, hatred, and fits of foul language.

Sharon N said...

Others, including Candace, said they think CBS will make corrections to her spelling. After reading some fairly glaring errors in past blogs, I'm not so sure.

In any case, having such poor spelling and writing skills is not going to help GM get another job... not in today's market. She might end up pushing burgers.

JimmyB said...

How is it possible that a blog wouldn't have a built-in spell correction?

Lately, I haven't used a forum of any type (including this one) that doesn't have one.

Sharon N said...

Jimmy,
With GM's lack of writing and language skills, I think every other word would be highlighted, and since so many of her words are convoluted and unrecognizable... well, you get the picture. I visualize the computer screaming YIKES and shutting itself down!

Anonymous said...

and there is nothing wrong in "pushing" burgers

Sharon N said...

Anon 8:20 - nope, nothing wrong with it at all, as long as a person is happy doing what they like, more power to them. My remark was merely pointing out that 'pushing burgers' would not come close to her chosen field. Her pride has been being employed in the beauty pageant business.

Petals said...

I knew what you meant, Sharon *wink*

JimmyB said...

Sharon--I'm sure I underestimated GM's ability to muck-it-up. She might not realize that the way she talks (tawks) is not considered to be English.

Of course, this conversation REALLY makes me want to read it.

Sharon N said...

Thanks Petals - Mayve I should put more explanation into sentences so the intention is clear. Didn't think it would be necessary, but guess it was.

Sharon N said...

"Maybe"
And there I went... tossing in aa misspelled word! lol

Jimmy - she's twisted some words around so badly that I'm surprised anyone in the house knew what she was talking about. But they figured it out.

Something that is missing today is kids having to learn how to write people actual letters (thank you; whatever). It's acceptable today to write quick text messages, with words cut down to almost unrecognizable. Heck, schools don't even teach kids how to write cursive anymore!

There's a high probability that BB will be preempted by football Thursday evening. Well be broadcast at some ungodly hour, like 2:30 am.

They have GOT to be kidding. BB production schedules a double eviction without checking the football schedules?

Good news!

"Big Brother’s Amanda Zuckerman fired from job as realtor?

A little over a week after we broke the news that Amanda Zuckerman was the houseguest pre-chosen to win the top prize on Big Brother due to her close friendship with the show’s producer, Allison Grodner, comes news that Zuckerman has reportedly been fired from her job as a realtor.

The cause for the firing is unknown. Some say she is “hired” by her family’s business – some say she isn’t hired by family at all and really was fired and that it may be due to her racist remarks towards other houseguests. It is also worth noting that Zuckerman’s website, amandazuckermanhomes.com, has also been taken offline and suspended."

Sharon N said...

I question the validity. It was on Joker's yesterday and there are some listings that show up as "suspended," but keep in mind, Amanda had a few listings that were in closing proceedings before she entered BB.

I searched for Amanda Zucker realtor and came up with various sites that show her name as still affiliated, like the one below:
http://ec2-184-72-83-98.compute-1.amazonaws.com/realestate/agent/amanda-zuckerman/

As I understand (and could be wrong), Amanda works in a family business (run by her parent). I think it more likely she would more likely be moved to one of their other offices out of state (like CA) if the publicity (after BB) didn't die down.

~~Silk said...

Sorry if I use the wrong words here - I don't have the vocabulary or knowledge of how realty franchises are set up - but the brokers for the Zuckermans are Prudential. Home sales need a broker backing the realtor, rather like financial advisors need a brokerage firm behind them. Amanda's mother, Marilyn, runs a realty franchise under the aegis of Prudential, and after returning to Florida from California, Ammanda worked with her mother. Mon handles mostly contracts over a million, and Amanda handles the small stuff.

It's possible that the suspended website mentioned was left over from Amanda's California adventure. It has been suspended for a few days that I know of, anyway.

Now here's where my memory could be playing tricks. I seem to remember that when I visited Marilyn's office website a few days ago, it said "Marilyn and Amanda Zuckerman" at the top. This evening it lists only Marilyn.
But that could be a false memory. I'm not sure. It's possible Amanda was not mentioned the first time I looked, either, and I'm remembering it wrong because at that time I had no reason to remember details.

Realtor estate agents do have a rather strict code of conduct. It is possible that Prudential has suspended her subject to review.

It's alsoo possible that the whole theory that she has been fired is based only on that "down" website - which could be down for any of several reasons.

~~Silk said...

It's late. Pardon my typos.

Sharon N said...

Silk - thank you for the information on what you know about how these things work. I thought it most probable that some of the suspended sites are because the deals closed (each attached to a specific address), because other links still have her listed.

No problem on the little typos... same thing happens when I type fast and don't go back to check... which is often. LOL

I went over to Jokers to read about GM's meltdown about spelling. I think the tears were from frustration. She said it never comes out how she sees it in her head. I think she is dyslexic. It explains her over the top behavior. Bet she has been teased all her life and struggled in school. Being the loud in your face clown, is a distraction. The one thing she can do is look good. That's why her hair was so important. You don't need to spell to look good.I don't think she is dumb or stupid. Just my thoughts

Peggy said...

I don't mean to come across as unsympathetic but IMHO any sympathy for GM is BS. I have been fortunate enough to be blessed with a high intellect & great education but mind you I worked my ass off to get a bachelors & then two Masters Degrees so that I could support my family.

My daughter has dyslexia & dysgraphia. She is 24, a college graduate and works as a special education teacher for inner city kids in the Madison WI public school system.

Before any of you cry 'foul' and say GM didn't have the benefit of an educated parent to help her along, I should add that I am also a single parent of two children who never had a father/spouse to support us. We are neck deep in student loans but have never considered reality tv as a panacea for solving life's problems.

If any one has HBO I would strongly suggest you check out the documentary "Miss You Can Do It". It's based on a real life Miss USA Iowa winner who has CO and started her own pageant for girls with disabilities. I guess I think it is what GM might have been if she hadn't lapsed into her narcissistic, infantile and intolerant road to ineptitude.

That should have read CP (cerebral palsy)

Hi Chauncey! I know. This season is truly like watching a train wreck. *SMH*

Just from Jokers, I can see how much Judd must despise Jessie. He is "studying" with her, and giving her all false information about the past comps, etc.
What a McTurd. He sure is a disappointment that I didn't smell coming :(
