Julie announces the double eviction to us and tells us the hamster who remain are two steps closer to winning. Sorry, but they're not -- it's already been said that a jury member will return.
Recap time.
The first two members of the jury will be tonight's evictees. Aw, Vanessa is hurt and confused. She thinks Becky gave her word that she wouldn't be put on the block. Becky said she pointed at her and tried to force her word. Then she walks away. "I don't know why you're being so venomous to me!" Steve thinks Vanessa will go either way and he should vote for Shelli to stay to be good with the house. Vanessa thinks Steve is personally betraying her.
Drama, drama.
Vanessa is scrambling, says she ALWAYS keeps her word. She tells James that Becky has said that he's her target. Meg, Jackie and James talk that Shelli might be better to send out.

Joe, I don't think he cared. He told JMac to go for the Goblins earlier today if he should win the HOH. Steve had Becky as a secondary target (and Vanessa does as well believe it or not). Steve showed his loyalty there to Vanessa.

James has always been closer to Meg than Jackie. Jackie was kind of forced into an alliance with meg and James. So I don't blame him for voting out Jackie. She has a better chance of winning her way back in than Meg would.
This was a fantastic episode if you are in my camp rooting for Austwins/Vanessa and Steve.

Monty, it's only in the best interest of another player if they are on the other team. JMac and Steve may think they are safe, but they are not. They will be Vanessa's minion and still be bullied by Austin. If they do not get rid of some of the shady 5, only the shady 5 will win.

Penny, we can say that out here, but Steve has been working with Vanessa and JMac both for the entire game. There was no way he was going to outright nom Becky because of JMac and no way he was going after the Austwins because of Vanessa. Steve played it safe and correct tonight in my opinion.

Thanks Monty, you're probably right. However, I do not understand why he can't make a bigger move. They are going to run him over. They will not allow Steve or JMac to move ahead of them. They do not think they are smart enough. I just wish someone would make a bigger move and get one of the bigger targets out.

It doesn't really matter at this point who he throws under the bus. If one of the 3 don't win one of them is gone. Jmac might go after Vanessa but could put 2 of Becky, Meg, James up and try for a backdoor of Vanessa. Best laid plans have not worked at all this season so one of the 3 would probably go home.

I don't think Becky will be trying to make any deals. She has already said 1 in 6 chance for POV and then 1 in 4 to get back in if that doesn't work. So she seems to know her fate. She is going on about it though. No one likes the Monday quarterbacking see I told you so stuff.
It's the game of BB and this season is really great, regardless of my pool pick and me liking the twins. It's strategy and a lot of luck. This cast is so different from what we've seen that past few seasons because there are so many different groupings all the time. That makes it fun for me to watch and to root for my pool pick this season. The Goblins discounted Liz and Julie, Meg called them floaters who thought they were at summer camp and look who is HOH now! I said the other night that Meg was one to call out a "summer camper", LOL.
Great season. I doubt Liz will make it to the end because someone will target the Austwins and Liz will be the one to go because it breaks up Austin/Liz and Julia/Liz. But you never know. She could go on a tear and win POVs and HOHs and she's in there. I think one of the twins definitely make it to final three. jmo

Monty, You are so right about Meg. She is still oblivious about how the game works. She thinks you just play an honest game and everyone will confide with each other. She must have pnly watched last season and thought that every nomination and vote should be a house decision
David, we know what you meant. Meanwhile just watched Vanessa play quarterback. She figued out that it's best to put Jmac n Becky up with Becky as target. Reason being is that Jmac can beat Becky in veto. Amazing how she looks at it from all sides.

Steve is actually what my family terms "book smart/socially stupid"...and he's very needy. The last person to give him a hug, and say all the right words, is his friend.
I really want to love Steve. In real life, I'd be all over him like white on rice. Watching him? Now that's another story. I can't tell if he is pretending to be obtuse and awkward (I think it could very well be a great act)
Regardless, bummer on the Lauztin win (sorry Monty). I'm so disappointed that Liz chose to have Sasquatch up there with her instead of her sister. And - by the way - LIZ is the most dangerous player in the game. She has not one but TWO solid alliances. Aren't these supposed to be "fans" of the show?
