BB19: Live Feeds into Monday - August 21

Who woulda thunk it?

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Obnoxious Oafs:
  • In reference to the screen cap above -- in the beginning of the season, I pegged Christmas as a strong contender and Josh as a pretty much a loon. Who would have thought this team up would even start up, say nothing about still existing so late in the season?
  • Sundays are usually the most boring day of the week in the house -- no comps, just a PoV meeting ahead on Monday.
  • At least Kevin got his yard open. It makes a definite difference in his demeanor.
  • When the PoV is pretty much a given -- as it is this week -- things are relatively easy-going among the hamsters.
  • Yes, Mark knows he's the target and will probably go on the block and out the door this week. He hasn't really given up trying to stay. He's being nice. That's pretty much all he can do at this point.
  • Paul had an extremely long talk with the camera going over his strategy so far and in upcoming days.
  • He said he's "owned" every HoH except for Jessica and Cody. Yep, he has. Some viewers have certainly been vocal about him doing so.
  • But it's a feather in his BB cap.
  • He hasn't been on the block and everybody except Jessica and Cody have followed his direction so far.
  • Obnoxious dude or not, not many could have pulled it off.
  • Of course, that doesn't mean his followers won't turn on him. They're quite likely to do so.
  • In other news ... while Christmas, Josh and Paul want to target either Jason or Matt next, Alex, Jason, and Raven want Kevin gone.
  • Paul wants Kevin to remain in until the final five to give him (Paul) a better chance of winning it all.
  • Raven told Matt that she can't believe no one has targeted Paul.
  • Ha. She's been a part of that, hasn't she?
  • She also told Christmas about some new and different health woes she has.
  • I can't believe no one's targeted her! After all, shouldn't she be living in assisted care or something with all of her health issues?!?!
  • Christmas, playing on their agenda, encouraged Matt and Raven to keep Kevin nervous.
  • Sigh.
  • I like Kevin. He's been so different than most on the live feeds and has entertained me. But I do sense he's packing it in a bit and isn't going to give his 100% for the win.
  • Paul also continues to cast doubt on Kevin's integrity.
  • The latest is that he's lying about having seven children. He's not.
  • Mark made a few last ditch efforts to see if there's any way he can stay.
  • While Christmas told him she hasn't really made up her mind yet, we know she has. He knows it, too.
  • Christmas and Josh want the final four with themselves, Paul and Raven. They think if Alex makes it that far, she'd boot Paul.
  • Tons of small talk.
  • Raven loves Josh? Oh my.
  • On that note ...

Christmas kept saying she was going to make a big game move.... Getting rid of Mark is a safe move as that's what the house wants. As much as I dislike Cody and Jess - they were the only ones willing to make a BIG GAME MOVE..... If she wants to make a big move and sway the jury at the end - she needs to actually make a big move.... get rid of Alex or even Matt (to brake up the showmance)... now THAT would be a BIG GAME MOVE! ~ Kim (Sorry for the anonymous!)

I'm done with this season I'll check with Jackie because her updates better than the show. I don't understand why each one says their going to make a big move than vote out the house (Paul). The bulling and targeting to who is leaving mind blowing..

Marlo L said...

I mean vote out the way of the house.

I agree....the only thing that could make this game worse is add Frankie to it!

Anon 9:30,Marlo,Those diary sessions are mostly scripted and they're told to say that they're "making a big move" in order to hype viewership. More and more this season is becoming a fraud.
Production obviously deliberately leaked that Paul would throw the HOH to Christmas in order to sucker us in to watching that dreadful clip show on Friday night.

Someone needs to tell Raven that she's not on a medical telethon. As Devin's daughter can attest to the sympathy strategy never works.

That is frightening

No creative "BIG MOVE" to see. As expected, Christmas put Mark on the block, and then proceeded to cry about it because of how great he's being and how hard that has made it for her. huh?
sheesh
So... how about putting up someone (cough cough Paul) who's a real threat and wouldn't be quite so 'great' about it?
Or how about leaving Matt/Jason OTB and vote Jason out because he's part of a "pair"
and because he's a bigger threat?
Or how about unloading someone who shouldn't have come on the show at all if she's so medically impaired?

Anon 11:05 OMG....That is exactly how I feel. CBS seems to have an attachment to Paul and Frankie....or maybe they both have the same MANAGERS. They are both hungry for fame....actually starving!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This just in ----Raven now has a hangnail. A go-fund me account has been set up to help her buy a new set of nail clippers. This is a terminal affliction that could possibly cause her death in 60-80 years. It also has the side effect of making her whine about it which is damaging to anyone's ears that are near her or watching her on live feeds.

This will also be the primary cause of her being first out of the next HOH competition if something is not done about it now.

You can help protect Jackie from having to hear this incessant complaining by making a donation to Jackie to keep her fingers near the mute button. The donations button can be found on the front page of Jackie's Blog. Together we can save Jackie's ears from the damaging effect of having to listen to Raven so she can continue to keep us updated on what is going on in the BB house.

Paul is going to win this. He's playing the game. He's had his hands in every single one of his minion's HOH's. He has no blood on his hands.

It took them 7 weeks to get Jessica or Cody out of the house. None of them have been big moves. They are over half way through the season (5 weeks left, counting this week). Cody and Jessica held them up a lot. Now, the next few weeks will be eating their own.

The only question left is who will strike first? Will it be Paul still pulling the strings? Or will they split in to 2 groups trying to attack the other?

Kudos David, for the Post of the Day!!

Paul has himself inserted into each pair. He's their BFF y'know!
Alex, Christmas and Raven have all made remarks about Paul, but none of them have the guts to go after him. All seem to have overblown views of their capabilities though.

As of now, IF someone gets HOH and finally develops some Cowardly-Lion courage, it's likely they will have to go after Paul on the sly... as a 'true' backdoor. If he gets wind, he'll work his magic. So far, nobody is showing they have the guts or the smarts.

Once Mark goes I think we'll see some changes. The concentrated hatred isn't there for Paul's next targets...Kevin or Jason. If Paul ends up running the next HOH without winning it on his own then I do think the season is over for all intents and purposes.

The worm is bound to turn soon, but in reality, it's probably already too late.
Even though Paul started all the rumors about Kevin, at the same time, it looks like he'd prefer having Kevin in the F3. No doubt because Kevin hasn't done or won anything.

It's silly, but I keep hoping that Kevin has been pretending lack of game knowledge and game incompetence... and that he will suddenly spring into jaw-dropping awesomeness. Yeah, it's very doubtful, but that would be GREAT fun!

Alex asked Jason to do/say things to promote Kevin's paranoia. So far, it doesn't look like Jason is following his marching orders... yet. Christmas asked Josh to do the same, but he came right out and said he wouldn't do it. Good. About time.

Crazy. All these people liked Kevin for a long time. Now he's the Big Bad Wolf.

According to one of his daughters on Twitter, he has watched Big Brother with them. So, he apparently knows the game. I hope he starts playing it. I don't want to see Kevin sent home. I just hope he starts making moves, if he can stay in long enough.

I am glad Josh and Jason have not gone after Kevin. Good for them.

For those with the feeds, flashback today 11:22 a.m cam 3 to catch Kevin and Jason's morning walk/chat. Talking about Raven and her illnesses and injuries. GOOD STUFF!!!

Sharon N said...

Sometimes I wish had the feeds... just for the walk-n-talk. :D

Nickelpeed said...

Oh man, would have loved to have heard that, Monty. Do they believe she has that many illnesses? LOL

lemonjello said...

I am so glad that Josh and Jason aren't going along with harassing Kevin, those are the only ones who might actually turn on Paul, I don't understand why Alex hates Kevin, Christmas is such a hypocrite, and Maven are just followers! I hope Kevin wins it all!!! Wait, I just answered my own question.

monty924 said...

Not really, Penny. They both commented on how she can compete and dance and everything, lol :)))

Sharon N said...

Well, Jason may not want to go after Kevin "right now" but I can almost guarantee he will throw shade at Kevin if Jason gets wind that he might be in trouble next!
Josh is a wild card. He wants to be his own man, and actually thinks he is, but ends up doing what Paul wants almost every time. He doesn't trust Kevin and wants him out, but so far he's not willing to be mean to Kevin. We'll see if that holds up.

Penny,
Since I don't get the feeds, I don't know for sure, but I get the impression that they are all sick of hearing Raven's growing rap-sheet of illnesses. Paul literally can't stand to be around her, but he's forced to 'for his game.' Good. I'm happy for any discomfort for Paul. LOL

Jackie wrote about Raven: "After all, shouldn't she be living in assisted care or something with all of her health issues?!?!" Too funny! lmao. Thanks, Jackie

I saw that one, Jean. That was so funny. LOL
