A blog reader asked me if I followed the teams from 'The Amazing Race 8: Family Edition' and, more specifically, if I knew anything new on the Weaver family. I didn't, but I poked around and found this recent interview with them - The Weaver Family Interview :: RealityReel
An excerpt:
"We honestly didn't go out with any agenda to preach or to profess Christ,"says Linda Weaver, very seriously. "I was surprised how many times I prayed! In all honesty, I think it's just such a part of our life that's us."
So, if you want to know everything you ever wanted to know about the Weavers, but were afraid to ask -- check out that interview.
I still don't like 'em. Well, Rolly was okay.

I'm with you on the Weaver's,Jackie. Could not like them if they gave me a million dollars. They weren't exactly the sharpest pencils in the box....LOL. And every time they talked smack about all the others, did they realize THEY were doing the exact same thing!! And,dear old MOMMY,just how "Christian" was it of you to pray that the others have something to befall them, and what made you think that God would only be on "your" side. It also bothered me that they kept pulling out the "Daddy dying" card SOOOOOO
much. If they were still that torn up by it,they should have passed on doing the show and dealt with their grief privately. And was it just me,or were those girls just skanky!!!! Just my opinion! They really rubbed me the wrong way,I would have died if they had won....LOL!
